"Ugh, I have to go" Jess ran quickly to the bathroom.
"Good Morning" Kai just waking up unaware Jess had already left.
Jess had arrived at the bathroom and threw up.
"Jess, you okay" Kai had entered.
"I'm fine, it's just morning sickness." Jess then threw up again.
"C'mon, I'll make us some breakfast" Kai helped Jess up.
They were unaware someone was listening to them.
"Huh, I knew it"
8:00 AM
"So how's the Squidbeak doing" Cap'n Cuttlefish had come over to check on everyone.
"Ok Cap'n" everyone stated
Kai had made pancakes for everyone. Some of the Agents still wondered why there was a little girl here.
Maika and Octavia were playing a game after breakfast.
Sheldon arrived after a while. He said he came to Octo Canyon to get away from the chaos in Inkopolis. He also checked all the Agents' weapons and gadgets. Then he noticed the Octoling girl next to Maika.
"Who's that?"signaling the girl over there.
"That's Octavia. We found her a week ago. I originally planned to show her around Inkopolis but..." Marina looked down sadly. She wanted Octavia to be free but now they had to go into hiding.
"I'll be okay, Cap'n Cuttlefish and the rest of the Squidbeak will find out what to do."
"I know, I just... feel back. I promised to show her around but now-"
"Octavia's fine, she's having a good time despite the situation at hand."
They looked over at her, she was happy. She had never had anything back at Kambo Co., but here she was having fun, seeing new things.
"You're right Sheldon, thanks for the talk."
"You're Welcome" He went back to inspecting things.
Jess had come out of her room with Kai.
"Everyone...I have an announcement"
Everyone stared at her in interest, wondering what was so important
Callie gave her a nudge, "Well, go on"
Jess took a deep breath. Kai gave her a nod.
"So...Me and Kai are... expecting."
"Wait...what do you mean?"
"What are you trying to tell us?"
"I'm...pregnant"
"WHAT?!" everyone shouted.
"I'm pregnant"
Marie was drinking tea and sitting down when she just looked over with one eye. 'I knew it' She continued to drink her tea.
Questions like, how, who, when, and how long, bombarded Jess.
"I don't know how it happened."
"And I'm the father" Kai stepped in
"I'm 9 weeks pregnant"
"My, you kids grow up to quickly," Cap'n Cuttlefish stated, "I might be best if you do go on missions"
"What?!"
"You heard me, you're relieved of field duty Agent 3"
"But...but"
"I can't have a mother put herself and her child in danger. But you can help by working at base"
"But"
"Jess, he has a point. Your carrying a child, you need to protect yourself and our child."
"Exactly, you can help give the Agents task and strategize plans. But no fighting, okay."
"Understood"
"Okay, with that out of the way... the next battle is going to happen at Suction-Cup Outlook. Troop SCO-05 needs our assistance."
Everyone nodded.
"We move out tomorrow, get some rest. And Sheldon...make sure those Hero Weapons work."
"Aye Aye sir."
Suction-Cup Outlook (Battle)
Both sides were attacking one another. Ink flying back and forth.
"Agent 2, your right. Agent 6, your left. Agent 8, behind you"
Agent 3 had taken her position as strategizer seriously.
"Ok, how's it look over on right 3."
"Clear 5"
"Ok," Agent 5 ran in and jumped down to ambush some Octarians, "Nice!"
"Looks like Suction-Cup Outlook is being cleared"
Suddenly the base's alarms went off.
"What's going on Agent 3"
"Octoweapon detected" she yelled
"Octoweapon?!"
A plane flew over and dropped down ink. From the ink rose, The Octo Samurai appeared.
"RAGGH"
"Agents, you need to team up to take it down."
Agent 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8 gathered at the area. They would take care of the Octoweapon, while the other troops dealt with the Octarians.
"It'll take damage if you ink in. You just have to splatter it."
"Got it"
Agents 1 and 5 immediately went in for the attack, but were quickly smacked back.
Agent 4 shot him a few times before he struck her.
Agents 2, 6, and 8 charged at once. Agent 6 provided cover with the Hero Brella. Agent 2 charged her Hero Charger Mk I and shot the samurai. Agent 8 swan through the ink path made and slapped the Octo Samurai with his Herobrush.
They however, were also splashed back.
"We need to coordinate."
"Agent 1"
"Yes 3"
"Distract him with your Roller. Pretend to be a different Samurai."
"I can do that. Always wanted play Samurai, never got a chance at the studio." Callie positioned herself and up.
"Agent 2"
"Yes"
"Fire charged shot at him so that 1 can attack"
"Got it" Marie started to charge another shot and took aim"
"Agent 4...Open fire with your Hero Shot"
Agent 4 dived into her ink and swam behind Callie. She ink the area around them easier mobility.
"Agent 5 you go and distract also"
"Ok, but I'll attack when I want."
"Agent 6 and 8"
"Yes"
"6 launch your Brella toward him. 8 you sneak around and attack from behind."
"Got it" Marina launched the brella and 8 dived in and swam right after it with 6.
1, 4, and 5 attacked from the front. Agent 2 provided support and canceled his attacks. 6 and 8 came from behind and attacked from there. Together they overwhelmed the Octo Samurai and splatted him.
"We did it!"
"Look, the Octarians are retreating."
The Octolings and Inklings were starting to disperse the enemy forces. Suction-Cup Outlook was in their control again.
"Hooray"
Over the next few weeks, the Octarians launched 2 to more attacks on the Inklings and Octolings. However, working together, they came out victorious both times.Letters from the Octarians were starting to come and it was about a potential end to the war.Both sides were starting peace talks.
Cap'n Cuttlefish, along with the New Squidbeak Splatoon, went with Octoling leaders for protection.
They had arrived at Cephalon HQ. Octarians representives were there. The meeting began.
Like all "good" meetings, things happened. Both sides argued over what the terms and conditions would be. In the end, they agreed on this.
Octoling and Octarian Peace Treaty
We Octolings agree to make peace with the Octarians if the following conditions are met:
We are free from all Octarian rule.
We have our own system of government and democracy.
We remain in control of Octo Canyon which includes: Tentakeel Outpost, Suction-Cup Outlook, Beaker's Depot, Slimeskin Garrison, and Cephalon HQ.
We Octarians agree to make peace with the Octolings and agree following conditions:
We are no longer going to control the Octolings and they will remain independent.
We have our own system of government and democracy that is separate from the Octolings.
We remain in control of Octo Valley which includes: Area 01, Area 02, Area 03, Area 04, Area 05
The Octarian Civil War had come to an end.
Both sides agreed to their terms. After a week they started to make trade agreements and other treaties.
Octolings and Octarians started to regain trust.
While both societies were rebuilding. The New Squidbeak Splatoon was busy searching for DJ Octavio.
After another week, they had caught DJ Octavio. As they have done before, they put him in a snow globe again, though this time it seem like he just willingly come.
While conditions in Octo Canyon started to improve, thanks to some Inkling influence, things would take a turn for the worst.
