Theme: Passing Notes
Alternate Universe
Note: I refer to Repliku as Riku's fraternal twin, due to the height difference between them since Repliku is based on KH1/Chain of Memories Riku.
Xion started at the note that was cleverly put into her locker there was only two people in this entire school that knew her combination number, Axel and Roxas. Someone figured out her combination because that paper was still neat and crisp and not shoved into through the tiny slot designs that rested at the top of the locker.
She raised an eyebrow as her curiosity grew at the note in question. "Who could have left you here?" she said to herself while reaching for the note in question.
While it did cross Xion's mind that it could have been a prank from her friends, "I swear to god, it better not be a glitter bomb" she then said as she carefully reached for the note. Lightly pressing a finger on it, didn't feel like anything was on the inside, waiting to explode at her upon its opening.
But still Xion took some caution taking the paper between her fingers and slowly pulled it out towards her and then swiftly opening it. Nothing happened, "oh" Xion muttered to herself as she was genuinely stunned it wasn't a prank.
Now finally reading the curious note, it simply read 'Rooftop' in a hand writing that Xion instantly recognized. "So he is here, today" she thought to herself. "I was wondering where he was hiding" Xion said in a low tone of voice. If Vanitas wasn't cutting school, he was usually hiding somewhere amongst everyone but he would never hide in the same places, it was a big school after all.
Vanitas didn't exactly have friends. He was never big on social activity for as long as Xion's known him. If he had felt the need to consult with someone other than her. It was with Repliku, Riku's fraternal twin. The two boys weren't friends but they weren't enemies either.
Xion sighed as she made the decision to cut the upcoming period which happened to be lunch; to see what Vanitas wanted from her.
"Alright I'm here" Xion said as she entered onto the rooftop of their high school.
It wasn't a bright and shiny day, it was a cloudy with high chance of rain type of day. Xion quickly spotted Vanitas with his hood up, sitting on weather worn bench.
Xion walking up to him, thinking on what to say to him before Xion could even say anything else she'd gotten good look at Vanitas's face "Oh my…" she couldn't even finish the sentence as she looked in horror at her boyfriend's bruised face.
"Vani who?" Xion struggled with words, the hugest bruise circled his left eye, the corners left was bruised but the right side was scabbed over, he'd also been bleeding.
"Do you really need to ask that Xion?" Vanitas finally saying something to his concerned girlfriend, it still hurt to talk and move his mouth. With his right not as bad eye, he could see Xion's face as she was trying so hard not to cry.
"That asshole did this!" Xion didn't need to guess, it was clearly Vanitas guardian.
"See I told you" the teen boy replied
Xion took a seat next to Vanitas and gently took him into her arms, god only knows if he was hurt anywhere else. "You're not going back to that hell, Vani coming home with me" Xion told him
He didn't fight Xion on it, he was so sick of the fighting with everyone and thing, "okay" he mumbled as he tried to move comfortably in Xion's embrace.
