A/N: Hey, guys. I have a new Chapter of "Two Worlds, One Family"! Yay. Uh...the events of this Chapter are happening basically at the same time, so sorry if there's any confusion of things. That's kind of the only way to explain what's happening in this Chapter.
Disclaimer: I don't own Transformers in any shape or form. I only own the story and any and all OCs in said story. If there's anyone you're not familiar with, it's probably an OC.

Solarstrike grins, feeling the light breeze move across his doorwings. He always loved being in this junkyard-like area of the Sea of Rust—he looked in the right spots and could find things to use in his different inventions, or sometimes he would just fix up the things he found. His parents knew he would sometimes get the urge to go out and explore, to be by himself. And they understood that.
He makes it to a large beam lying on the ground, jumping slightly to make it onto the heavy metal. A worried rumble suddenly echoes around him, making him turn and meet the red optics of his companion.
:Young Master, perhaps we should return. It's getting late.:
Sol walks across the beam, his doorwings fluttering to keep balance.
"Stop worrying, Talon. Mom and Dad know where I am, and you're a direct link to Delta. Besides, I've been here hundreds of times."
:Regardless, it will be dark soon. That will make this place more dangerous for you.:
"I told you, it's fine. This beam isn't over anything—it's just lying on the ground. It's not like it's gonna-"
Suddenly, the beam cracks, pressing down into the ground. The metal, weakened by millions of years, gives out with a rumble. Sol only has an instance to look at Talon with wide optics, Talon only has an instance to lunge at the younger Mech. Then, the beam finally snaps, Solarstrike plummeting down into the dark chasm.
Solarstrike feels something rough move over his helm, rousing him into consciousness. He shifts, holding back a cry as pain ripples through his body. His optics finally manage to crack open, taking in his blurry surroundings. He's lying on his side, one doorwing pinned underneath his body, his helm pressed against the soft metal of the ground.
Something moves into his field of vision, his optics clearing to meet the burning scarlet of his companion.
"T-Talon…?" his voice is raspy, quiet, but it's enough.
The panther rumbles in relief, pressing his forehelm against Sol's shoulder. The golden youngling tries to sit up, but finds his body won't cooperate. Tears sting his optics. Primus, he'd been so stupid! He should have listened to Talon when the panther said it was dangerous.
"I w-want to go home…" he whimpers.
Talon moves, curling around his helm, resting his helm on Sol's shoulder. He rumbles, the sound low and comforting.
:It is alright, Young Master. Delta will be here soon.:
Delta smiles as his parents begin to argue, no heat or anger to their words. He couldn't even tell you what they were arguing about. The snippy comments and laughter is the only thing reaching his audios as he performs the maintenance on his gun. It's been almost two months since he first reunited with his family and found himself finally beginning to relax around them.
I want to go home…
He pauses, hissing as his servo catches on a sharp piece of metal from the gun.
Shaking out his servo, he looks around. Was that…Solarstrike?
Earlier that morning Solarstrike had left to go exploring, Delta sending Talon with him to keep an optics on him. According to his parents, Sol was usually out all day when he got into this mood of exploring the few ruins still littering the planet on the edge of the Sea of Rust. He always stayed fairly close by, but Delta had felt better when Talon agreed to go with the younger Mech.
And now he was hearing his voice? Was he finally going crazy after all this time?
{Master!}
Delta jumps at the sudden exclamation.
{Wha-Talon? What's going on?}
The panther begins to explain, his voice hurried and frantic.
{Whoa, Talon, calm down! I can't understand you.}
{The young Master, he was walking across a beam, and…and the ground gave out underneath him! I managed to climb down and reach him, but…b-but he's not waking! Master, I don't know what to do!}
Delta was already on his peds and rushing out of the room. He moves past his parents with the quick phrase "Sol's in trouble" before making it out the door.
{I'm coming Talon. Just hang tight and keep trying to get Sol awake.}
{I will, Mas-}
Delta stops at the gate. He doesn't hear his parents contacting Enforcers, doesn't hear them trying to get the full story out of him. All he hears is the silence in the bond, the sudden burst of fear filling his chest.
{Talon, what's wrong?}
{Master…I think there's something else here. And it doesn't sound friendly.}
