*That night, in the cabin in the woods, Rough & Tumble were playing a card game*
Tumble: Hey! I happen to know you've got a Five of Hearts!
Rough: What do you mean, you know!?
*In Shadow's locked room, Maris jumped on to the rafters, while Shadow took a sheet off his bed*
Tumble:*off-screen* I saw it!
Rough:*off-screen* You mean you cheated!
Tumble: Yeah! Uh, I mean, no.
*They were about to go back to their card game when they heard something*
Shadow:*off-screen* Help! Help! Please, help me!
Tumble: Yes, Your Highness?
Rough: What is it?
Shadow: Hurry!
*Rough unlocked the door & the went inside the room. They both screamed when they saw . . .*
Tumble: A ghost!
Shadow: Get it! Quick!
Rough: You're bigger! You get!
Tumble: You're closer! You get it!
*Suddenly, the ghost jumped down on top of them*
Tumble: It's got me! I feel it's furry hands!
*Maria came out from under the sheet*
Shadow: Well done, Maria *they ran out of the room. Rough realized they were tricked & hit Tumble on the head, because he was still screaming. outside, Shadow & Maria got in the cart Sir Connery was attached to* Go! Go!
*They were off just before Rough & Tumble could stop them*
Meanwhile, Abigail & Harvey were secretly following Starline & Fiona on horseback*
Dr. Starline: Let us in . . . *he banged on the door of the cabin* YOU IDIOTS!
*Rough nervously opened the door a crack
Rough: Uh . . . Boss and Miss . . . Everything is fine here. Fine, fine, fine, fine, just fine. See you soon.
*He was about to close the door, but Fiona stopped it with her fan & she & her Father entered the cabin*
Fiona: How did he escape?
Rough: Who?
Fiona: Who? The Prince! You moron! Idiot!
Rough: The Prince is here . . . Sleeping! Aren't you sleeping, Prince!?
Tumble: Huh? *disguising his voice* Yes! I'm sleeping!
*Starline & Fiona both face-palmed*
Rough: Now bosses, you don't want to wake him up do you? He's a Royal.
*Starline & Fiona went up to the door*
Dr. Starline: He's a royal alright. A royal pain in the behind!
*They all went into the room & found Tumble, laying in the bed & wearing a mask that looked like Shadow*
Tumble:*disguising his voice* Who interrupts my slipper?
Rough:*whispering* Slumber, you bonehead!
Tumble:*disguising his voice* Slumber! Right! *real voice* I knew that.
Fiona: Get out of that bed!
*She yanked the covers off of him*
*Outside, Abigail & Harvey watched from one of the boarded up windows was Starline had both Rough & Tumble by the throat*
Dr. Starline: We can figure out how the Prince escaped you fools! But didn't he tell the Queen had he'd been captured? *he threw them both to the floor* Hmm. Something's odd. I must solve this Prince puzzle if I am to be King.
*Back outside, Abigail & Harvey were surprised by what they had just heard*
Abigail: King? Starline?
*Abigail stepped back & a twig snapped underneath her shoe. A few minutes later, Fiona came around the corner*
Fiona: Looking for something, Abby? Professor?
Harvey Who: How can your Father be King?
*Suddenly, Rough & Tumble each threw a sack over them*
Fiona: You're the tutor. Your supposed to have all the answers.
*Much later, Shadow, wrapped in a ragged brown cloak, drove the carriage up to the front gate of the castle*
Shadow: Come here, Maria.
*Maria snuggled close to him. A male grey & white rabbit with a blue eye & a black eye patch covering the other one was guarding the gate*
Jack Rabbit: Who goes there?
Shadow: Prince Shadow.
Jack Rabbit:*chuckle* If you're the Prince, then I'm the King.
Shadow: But I am the Prince.
Jack Rabbit: Really? Then how come how come I just saw the Prince eating dinner with the Queen?
Shadow: What Prince?
Jack Rabbit: Now move along before I lose my temper.
Shadow: You are speaking to Prince Shadow! Let me through!
Jack Rabbit: I said move along! *he pointed his spear at Shadow* Now!
*Seeing no other option, Shadow turned the carriage away from the gate & towards the village. He went all the way to a tavern*
Shadow: We'll from find help in here.
*He had just stepped up to the door when Breezie came out, laughing. She stopped when she saw Shadow*
Madame Breezie: What are you doing here?
Shadow: I beg your pardon?
Madame Breezie: Not another word! *she grabbed Shadow by the wrist* You're coming with me! *she pulled him all the way to the Dress Emporium. inside the work room, Amy & Tails were hard at work, sewing dresses when they came in* Not done yet? If you two weren't so lazy, those dresses would be finished by now!
Shadow: How dare you speak to them that way!
Madame Breezie: How dare I!? How dare I!? Just who do you think you are!?
*Shadow took off his cloak*
Shadow: Prince Shadow.
*Breezie stared at him for a few seconds & then burst out laughing*
Madame Breezie: That's a hoot! You've got to change more than your quills to look like the Prince. Why, I happen to be a personal friend of the Royal Family.
Shadow: Oh really?
Madame Breezie: Now shut up and get back to work.
Shadow: I'm warning you. If your going to treat your employees this way, we'll take our Royal Business elsewhere.
Madame Breezie: You're warning me! We'll see your attitude change by morning. You're not coming out till every dress is finished, Sonic!
*She slammed the door behind as she left the room*
Shadow: Sonic? *he ran to the door & tried to open it, but it was locked. he slammed his fist on the door* Locked in again!
Amy:*off-screen* Sonic?
*Shadow turned to face them*
Tails: That is you, isn't it?
*Shadow just gave them a small smile*
*Later, Shadow took off his gold ruby ring & then put a pair of scissors to a dress tag*
Shadow: "Made exclusively by Madame Breezie"
*He then cut off the tag*
Tails: If Muttski can slip in and out, I'm sure your pretty little Maria can do it to.
*Amy didn't say anything. She was too nervous about being this close to the Prince. Shadow then rolled up the tag, put it inside his ring, & then attached them both to Maria's collar*
Shadow: It's up to you now, Maria. Take this to the castle. When somebody reads the lable, it'll lead them here.
*Maria then went to the open window & nervously walked along the wall of the balcony. She then walked through the village & ducked underneath a carriage when she heard a dog barking*
Maria: This is going to be a long night.
