The helicopter lands in front of them. A tan man looked at the teens. "Wait, these are the kids from Georgia," the man said. "John, we found them. We found some survivors. Everyone thinks you guys are dead."

The other man on the helicopter looked at them. "Wow, it's really them," John exclaims. "I remember seeing their faces on the news."

"We think we're the only survivors," Nick said sadly. "We've been here for about three weeks. Garrett, Bram, and Martin arrived a little before us. We haven't seen anyone else. Can you help us?"

"Climb aboard," John invited. The teens get onto the helicopter. Bram helped Simon onto a seat. He intertwined their fingers. Simon rested his head on Bram's shoulder. Bram put his head on top of Simon's head.

"Hey, Martin," Leah whispered.

"Yes," Martin said.

"The peace truce is over," Leah said with a dark smirk.

They arrived at the hospital a few hours later. The teens were treated for their injuries. They were malnourished and dehydrated, and Simon's leg was treated. It took hours before they could be taken to regular hospital rooms.

The teens were put in a room together. This was mostly to protect them from the press easier. There were billions of news vehicles outside of the hospital, hoping to get a peek of the survivors.

"I think they've already alerted our families," Abby said.

"Where are we even?" Martin asked.

"I think I saw we're somewhere in Connecticut," Nick said. "Maybe Midtown."

"Midtown?" Simon questioned. Alice was probably back in town by now. Seeing how the rescue had already made its way to news stations, Their parents would probably send her to check upon him.

"So, what's next?" Nick asked.

"Now, it's time to move and recover," Nick said. "I know I'm never getting on a plane again. We only have a few more weeks left in senior year. They probably won't send us back to traditional school. Maybe they'll just mail us our diplomas."

"True," Nick said. Bram extended his hand for Simon. Simon took it and smiled faintly at the boy. The door opened slightly. A doctor entered the room. He was holding a clipboard.

"You have a visitor, Simon," he said.

"Please send them in," Simon said. Alice poked her head through the door. Her boyfriend, Theo, was with her. "Hey, Alice. Do you want to meet my boyfriend?"
