This story is only a fanfiction and alternative universe of Jurassic World, therefore, I only own the US Marine Corps OCs and the additional villains. All rights go to Universal Pictures, Steven Spielberg, Kathleen Kennedy, the late Michael Crichton and Frank Marshall.
It was a nice sunny morning. A blue helicopter – with a white stripe recalling the waves – was flying down into the valley. The pilot wasn't dressed like a pilot at all. Indeed – he was wearing a suit and looked like a bearded Indian man.
Turning to the passenger – he then asked : « How's my flying – Mr. Hamada ? », « Very good – Mr. Masrani, answered the man named Hamada – looking like a Japanese. Since how long did you have your helicopter pilot licence ? », « For three years. », « I'm glad for you. », « We're arriving – Mr. Masrani. », « OK. We're landing ». The helicopter approached a clearing. Around the landing ground – there was a crowd of journalists there to interview Masrani.
The bird landed and Masrani and Hamada exited it – only for Masrani to be surrounded by journalists – prompting Hamada to go to the meeting room in advance.
« Mr. Masrani ! Laura Parkinson – working for CNN. What about the new species – please ? », « Every answers will be in July. », « Sir ! Harry Walters – BBC. How about your other projects ? », « I'll answer after the meeting. », « Mr. Masrani ! Julie Legras – working for TF1. What about your rivals. », « Please – just be patient. I'll answer every questions. », « Mr. Masrani ! Helmut Kruger – working for the Spiegel. What about people who critise your team ? And the US 11th Fleet deployment near Las Cinco Muertes ? », « You're going to have the answer after my lecture. »
Meanwhile – Hamada was guided through a volcano-shaped building to a lecture room where he sat in a chair which has been saved for him.
Then two men – an Asian one and a Caucasian one – came into the room. « Henry Wu. I'm the leader of the scientific research team. », « Ed Regis. Director of the Advertisment team. », « Takashi Hamada. UNO representative and Gene Guards Act enforcer. I replaced Ismael Yousef – my Israli colleage who retired. A cool guy. », « Are you Japanese ? », « Yes. I live in Osaka », « I am too, Wu said. My great-grandfather was in the US 442nd Infantry Regiment in Italy during WWII. He left Yokohama two years before enlisting. »
They then walked past three giant screens – each of which showed the logos of InGen, Jurassic World and Masrani Corporation.
A redhead woman – dressed in white clothes stood on stage. Hamada recognized her as Claire Dearing – the new Park Operations Manager. She had a reputation of being strict and empathetic. She began to speak.
« Ladies and Gentlemen – thank you for coming at that lecture. 10 years ago – on February 15th 2005 – the most futuristic theme park in the world opened. But we now have to thank Mr. Simon Masrani – CEO of Masrani Global Corporation – for making this possible. ». Then – Masrani appeared and started his speech. « Thank you Ladies and Gentlemen. Today we want to celebrate the ten years of successfull operations of Jurassic World. Our beloved John Hammond died without fullfilling his dream of creating a dinosaur theme park for reasons we can't blame him for. ». Then – Masrani pushed a button – showing the images of the first Jurassic Park.
« Hammond requested a VX gas airstrike upon Isla Nublar. Then InGen made a disastrious attempt to build a new park in San Diego – which led to the San Diego Incident. ». Same operation.
« But the Incident has awakened a kind of dream for normal people. You also have to add the speech of John Hammond of turning Isla Sorna into a quarantine area – and you have cases of illegal tourism to this island. All of which led to accidents – which proved people wanted to see living dinosaurs. InGen was bought by Masrani Corporation to enhance its research about repopulating nature with endangered species. In 2002 – we could never have imagined we could do what we're her to talk about. That's the time when UNO decided to allow us to exploit Isla Nublar to cease any illegal tourism – so we could show prehistoric animals safely. And now – we have 30,000 visitors a day, and 300 staff members, and 40 species – as well as no major incident and a satisfaction rate of 90%. ».
As the show went on – filmed by journalists – thousands of men and women aboard US ships performing operations were not as convinced as Masrani and Wu were. They were ready for action and eager to do what they were paid for – ie defend and protect people who can't do it themselves – and were led from the USS Lexington by a hardened fifty-something-year old man : Admiral Derrick Shane – who didn't like the idea of Jurassic World either after hearing acounts of eyewitnesses years prior to the opening of Jurassic World theme park, when his men rescued Eric Kirby, his parents and Alan Grant on Isla Sorna.
« Sir. Murphy – Nolan and their reinforcements have arrived and linked up with the 11th Fleet aboard the USS Bastogne and the USS Eagle. » a sailor said. « Good. I want to meet them at 12:00 hours. » Admiral Shane responded.
Another sailor transmitted the message to the USS Bastogne – where Murphy, Nolan and their men were and the two officers boarded a Huey helicopter to get aboard the USS Lexington.
After the meeting – Regis and Masrani went on talking about Ian Malcolm, Alan Grant and Nick Van Owen. « These persons are idealistics. They don't know we're helping nature. », « I agree – Ed. I even wonder why Van Owen ain't in jail and is even invited by the UNO for animal ethics debates. », « Fortunately – no employee may read their books in public now. », « However – I'm going to show Mr. Hamada his suite. », « Thanks – Mr. Masrani. ».
