An Ultimate Betrayal-Ch 8
Derek cupped her face in his hands and said, "cheating on you, baby, no, how could you ask me that, I've waited my whole life for you and now that I have you I would never do anything to hurt or lose you".
Penelope said, "well I" and Derek said, "where did that come from, why are you doubting me sweetness, why"?, she pulled out her cell and showed him the pictures and the text message.
Derek said, "I bumped into that woman as I left the coffee shop, I talked for her for a second or two, just making sure that she wasn't burned". Penelope said, "that doesn't explain the kisses Derek".
He blew out a deep breath and said, "she kissed me on the cheek to thank me for asking if she was alright". Penelope said, "and the kiss on the lips Derek, can you explain that one too"?, he said, "as I was walking off she pulled me to her and kissed me, she kissed me baby girl, I didn't kiss her back".
Penelope looked deeply into his eyes and could tell that he was telling her the truth, she smiled and said, "I'm so sorry that I ever doubted you, can you ever forgive me"?, he claimed her lips with his in a passionate kiss and said, "you didn't do anything wrong baby girl so their is nothing to forgive".
She smiled up at him and said, "are you finished with your paperwork"?, he said, "I am, are you heading home"?, she said, "yeah I was thinking about heading home, what are you going to do"?, he said, "I have the okay to move back into my place so I was heading over to get it cleaned up".
Penelope said, "would it be okay if I came over and helped too"?, he kissed her lips gently and said, "of course it would be". She ran her hand up and down his chest and said, "I love you hotstuff and I'm so so sor" and he cut off her rambling with another kiss.
When they pulled apart Derek said, "baby girl I need to ask you something", she said, "sure angelfish you can ask me anything". He grinned and said, "I was wondering what you would think about moving in with me"?, she said, "m m moving in w w with you"?, he caressed her cheek and said, "yeah, I love you and you love me and their is nothing more I want than to spend as much time with you as possible".
Penelope said, "s s so you want me to mo move in with you"?, he said, "I do but if you don't want to, if you think it's too soon then" and she quickly said, "NO NO I'D LOVE TO", he grinned and said, "that's my girl" as his lips descended on hers.
They pulled apart and Derek said, "follow me to my place, the others will probably show up later too, so we can have a cleaning party". Penelope laughed and said, "I love a party but cleaning doesn't sound like much of a party to me".
Derek winked at her and said, "ohhhh don't worry I will reward you for your efforts", she put her finger to her chin and said, "you will huh, just how will you reward me"?, Derek wrapped his arms around her and said, "I'll reward you by showing you how much I love you tonight, allllllllll night long".
She blushed and said, "now that's how this oracle likes to be rewarded", he laughed and said, "well then goddess, let's get this show on the road". She climbed into her car and said, "let's get a move on handsome, times a wasting".
He laughed and said, "on it baby girl, on it" as he climbed into his car and pulled out of the parking garage and headed toward the main street. Peter and Zach were sitting in a car across the street and as they watched the lovebirds pull out onto the road they couldn't help but notice the smiles on both of their faces.
Zach said, "it didn't work, they both seem so happy", Peter said, "don't worry Zach, my plan will work, we'll give them a couple of days to be all lovey dovey and then when I put the next part of our plan into action they won't know what hit them" causing both Peter and Zach to laugh as they pulled away from the curb and out onto the street.
