So, I've been away from all my fic-writing for a bit. The reasons for that lay in ADD, minor depression due to existentialism, handling my autism, work, study, gaming (specifically the farmy farm which is Warframe) and brainstorming all 10ish of my active fics, having some trouble deciding on what to write in the 2 days before Black and White canonically occurs, plus the few new ones I want to start as well. Those new ones which I will tell you briefly about now:
After finishing (and posting) the second chapter for my Adventure Time Fic, I want to be getting up a chapter for either a One Piece fanfic or a Hilda Fanfic. I'll be doing both eventually, but haven't decided which will come first. After those are done, I'll probably post a chapter of my Worm fic, Lazarus, before starting a Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts fanfic.
Now, as you can deduct from simple math, that's a total of 12ish fanfics I have to keep writing chapters for amidst the previously aforementioned update delays. And that's not even to mention that I want to begin even MORE fanfics, as well as reignite some of my old ones AND want to write longer and more entertaining chapters AND I constantly have writer's wall on what will make a good chapter.
So you can see my problem.
That's why I have come up with (probably… maybe… hopefully…) a solution.
You guys!
Now, I don't exactly know how many of you guys are here to watch all these slow-motion trainwrecks with a bucket of popcorn, and how many of you are writers on said trainwrecks, but I'm hoping some of you reading this are writers.
Hopefully, writers willing enough to assist me with some of my stories!
What I'm proposing here is that if you want to (you are under NO obligation to do so by the way,) get in on this hot action, read over all my may active stories (which should be the Adventure time one and anything updated after that,) and message me that you'd like to help with it.
What will happen is this; I'll come up with the general gist of a chapter, we'll get a google doc going or something I don't know any good way to share in-progress writing, we write the chapter together, get them done faster and in better quality, and give them out to the rest of you like Halloween candy.
And here's a few privileges assistants get!
Influence over the story. I'd be happy to hear what idea's you've got to improve the story, making it more entertaining is a goal for me and as a former reader, you should know what you want.
Early access to chapters. I mean, bro. You're writing them. Of course, you're going to see them early.
Future knowledge of the story. I have BIG surprises in store for quite a few if not all of my fics, and I don't really want to give that away to anyone, not even assistants since I want to surprise them too. However, I am liable to divulge some of that information to assistants since they are helping with the story too.
Now, it won't come as a surprise to me if absolutely none of you choose to help me write my stories, I'm probably coming off pretty rude and pretentious here after all. But believe me when I tell you that I'd been almost bowing down to you if you gave me any help at all.
And whilst I don't think that any of my stories will become one of the all-time greats like This Bites, Taylor Varga, Miraculous Alliance, Red Thorn, or Remnant of a Rose, I do think that they can get just a bit better if they had a little help.
After all, the strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack.
