Hi everyone hopes your all doing well here is my next submission for 9 days it's weird to think that it's almost over. This is actually my first-time taking part in 9 days and it's been a lot of fun. The song theme for this chapter is gone gone gone by Philip Philips.

Pacing up and down his dorm Jaune fought the desire to run his hands through his now styled hair not wanting to ruin it as he fretted. "Do you think my shirt looks good?" Jaune asked the rest of team JNPR opening up his body to give his team a better look of his attire.

Not giving his team the chance to respond Jaune instead continued to speak "does my outfit look smart enough?" he asked stood in his nicest pair of jeans and a blue button up shirt that Ruby had said matches his eyes "But still it's not too smart right? I don't want her dad to think I'm like stuck up or anything like that." Jaune continued to ramble making his team sigh "what if he hates-" Jaune was then interrupted in his rambles by a metal belt wrapped around his lips keeping his mouth shut curtesy of Pyrrha as she fought the urge to face palm.

"Jaune you've met her dad before already so you don't need to be so worried." she told him quickly with an exasperated smile.

"Yeah, he seemed to like you when we all met him." Ren chimed in as they did their best to calm Jaune down.

"Yeah, but this is different we weren't dating back then." Jaune replied to them the moment the belt was removed from his face before he let himself fall down onto the bed looking to his team feeling like this was one of the things, he needed their help with the most.

"So, what," was Nora's quick reply making him pause looking to her "just because you two weren't together-tighter back then doesn't mean that he couldn't tell that you two would get together eventually." Nora told him making them blink slowly understanding what she meant and when they did Jaune quickly pouted.

"We weren't that obvious, weren't we?" Jaune asked them blushing lightly as he realised that they knew about the two of them before they did.

"YES!" the three of them said in unison the moment he had asked the question making him jump.

"you two were as subtle as a grenade in a Mistral shop." Nora told him making Jaune sweat drop.

"that's not the phrase." he told her sighing before they heard a knock on the door.

"it's open." Nora shouted after hearing the door get knocked being able to guess who was behind it.

The door was then pushed open to reveal Yang and Ruby the two of them already dressed and ready to go.

"Hey vomit boy the airships going to be leaving soon you ready to go?" Yang asked Jaune calmly walking into the room as Ruby zipped over to him in and instant hugging him closely as Jaune hugged her back feeling like the two of them had spent too long apart from each other.

Being reminded of where he was preparing to go Jaune palled looking away from Ruby and Yang "are you two sure it's a good idea for me to come?" he asked them quickly looking at his feet as he did so make the two of them pause.

"Hey Jaune is something wrong?" Ruby quickly asked him moving her hands to his chin as she lifted his face to look him in the eyes.

"Yeah, everything's fine I just don't want to get in the middle of you two getting to spend time with your dad." Jaune told her doing his best to make her think that nothing was wrong by giving her a wobbly smile.

"he's worried that your dad won't like him." Pyrrha quickly told the two sisters making Jaune sigh knowing that his secret was out.

"that's one of the dumbest things I've heard!" Yang quickly interjected loudly making Jaune look up in surprise that it was her who was arguing it and not Ruby or one of the others. "Do you have any idea how much Ruby would speak about you to dad even before you started dating?" she asked him making Ruby blush her affection for him being revealed but she did nothing to argue with it feeling like it was helping to make him feel better and so she instead continued to hug him hiding her reddened face against his chest.

After what felt like a minute Jaune took a deep breath hugging Ruby back as he smiled a fuller smile then he had earlier "thanks Yang, thanks everyone you guys never fail to make me see sense." Jaune told them.

"Anytime vomit boy." Yang said to him in return placing her hand against his head to ruffle his hair.

"Now hurry up and get to your airship great leader Jaune." Nora told them excitedly making Jaune chuckle as she began to shepherd them out the door. No matter what happened Jaune knew he would be fine so long as he had them to rely on.

Yang and Ruby will know be meeting with him to go back to Patch to meet Tai's dad

His team tries to calm him down later yang does too
