Chapter 8
The day of Taka's Level-up
"God Apollo!" shouted a Pallum known as Luan Espel as he burst through the door leading to his gods office sitting at the chair of his desk was none other then Apollo with his ever present Captain Hyakinthos Clio. The duo was currently doing paperwork with Apollo going over paper while Hyakinthos assisted.
"God Apollo!" the whiny Pallum cried finally getting his gods attention.
Sighing in annoyance this not being the first time he's had to deal with this Apollo turned to his child. "Yes Luan." he said as his arm shot out preventing Hyakinthos from attacking the prideful Pallum who began to cower as the captain attempted to move. "What seems to be the problem?"
Rising to his feet head held high the earlier act of cowardice forgotten. "It's that birdboy! Taka he's leveled up!" he shouted as he reviewed to his god a flyer containing Taka's new rank.
Upon hearing the name the work paper in the god's hand slowly fell to the ground as the smile on Apollo's face could only be described as unsettling. "Ah so my little birde is finally getting his wings." as he finished as he licked his lips at the fact that Taka had actually broken the record held by Ais Wallenstein for reaching level two.
"I believe we should have another chat with our wayward raptor." Apollo said as he stared perversely at the flyer missing the look of jealousy Hyakinthos sent him.

Back to the Present
"Mas...Master Ta...Master Taka why... oh gods... why are we... doing...this?" Lili asked between pants as she followed Taka through his morning run through the city.
And by 'run' it was more like Lili stumbling after Taka as he jumped around the city with her newly minted Goddess firmly clinging to his back.
"Stat boost." the duo exclaimed with Hestia snuggling into his back.
Long since excepting this was how Taka was she wasn't sure what other lasting effects Apollo had on Taka but the one she did see was a constant desire to improve. Granted it was always for the end game of getting revenge on said god.
Before the goddess could dwell on this further the loud panting of the Pallum behind her drew her attention to the supporter gasping for air.
"W-why?" she asked as Taka stopped his run walking back to her allow her a short break she was more then happy to get.
"I want us to level up." he simply responded causing Lili to jump in surprise at the news.
Before Taka could finish Hestia jumped off his back looking to the supporter. "You know about Apollo and our familia's grudge against his, while he is complacent now with Taka's recent level it won't be long before he tries something else. So we need every member of the familia to be at their best for the eventual conflict."
Lili was taken aback at the news as she was a supporter only there to hold the bags while the adventurers did the heavy lifting. To be told she was expected to reach level two was unexpected. "B-but I..."
"We are quite aware you are a supporter but guess what we didn't care about it when we fought Soma for you we don't care about it now." Hestia said in a tone that left no room for arguments.
Flashback
"3...2...1...Welcome to the familia!" the original duo cheered to their newly minted third member as confetti rained down on the Pallum.
Liliruca Arde expected many things when she stepped into her new home. Just as the transfer of familia's was complete her new familia allowed her to quickly gather her things before the entire group left the Soma familia grounds. That's what led to her current situation as her new familia surrounded her offering her praise and cake.
Even with her hood up it did little to hide the tears flowing down her face like a waterfall. She knew this was why she had to endure all the hardships of the Soma familia it was so she could find her place here in her true familia the Hestia familia.
"So I guess since Lili's here we have to work on sleeping arrangments." Hestia said a bright aura surrounding her. "So naturaly as the captain of the familia and the original member Taka should sleep in the bed with me!" she quickly wrapped her arms around his arm sandwiching it between her bountiful breasts.
Not having this Lili pressed up against his other side glaring at the Goddess. "No you can't do that! As us lowly mortals should never be so intimate with a Goddess."
A blushing Taka could do nothing frozen stiff as the two attractive women rubbed up against him.
Hoping to calm things down Taka decided to finally ask a questions thats been plaguing his mind for a few days. "Goddess did the Gods finally give me a name?" hoping to defuse the situation.
"KSHH!" was all Hestia heard as her heart began to pound out of her chest as sweat started to pour down her forehead.
So lost in her thoughts she failed to notice the finger snapping in front of her face.
"SNAP! Goddess! SNAP! Goddess! SNAP! Goddess!" Taka shouted between snaps to no avail. "No response Lili get the Morbul there in the closet."
Hestia certainly heard that as her arms and pigtails waved around frantically. "I'm okay no need for that again!" Oh the memories of the first time Taka used that on her still haunt her to this day.
Hestia sighed in defeat knowing she couldn't delay this any longer then she already has. "You don't want to know."
Taka deadpanned at the words. "That bad?" he asked recieving nod in response. "Screw it I might as well hear it before some rando calls me it."
Seeing the logic Hestia took a deep breathe knowing this was going to piss him off. "Dodo."
Hearing this Taka and Lili tilted their heads in confusion. "Excuse me?"
"That's the name the God's decided for you Dodo."
"Apollo?" Taka's frown deepening.
"Somehow convinced every God in the room." Hestia shook her head in despair.
Lili raised a hand for a question. "What's a Dodo?(1)" this question stunned the two as they quickly ran into the back of the church. Lili jumped as the sound of shouting and things being through around erupted throughout the church.
"Found the encyclopedia Hestia had it under her wardrobe." Lili smirked at the blushing Goddess who found her feet pretty interesting.
"You weren't there and I needed to reach the top of it." Hestia countered.
Leafing through the book Taka froze as he found the section he was looking for.
"THEY NAMED ME AN EXTINCT FLIGHTLESS BIRD! THOSE DEVINE FUCKERS!"
Flashback Ends
"We need you Lili, your not just part of the familia your our friend."
The Pallum gasped in surprise at those words as no one's ever relied on her only to carry there stuff and take the abuse of the adventurers. Steeling her resolve to improve not just for herself but her familia Lili took off jumping to the next rooftop.
"Come on you two we've got stat boosting to do!" she cheering out as she continued to run.
Hestia climbed back onto Taka's back the two smiling as he took off after her.

Crash!
That was the sound heard as a body was thrown into a wall leaving an imprint of said body as it fell to the ground.
"Taka! Master Ta KAH!" a voice shouted being being held as the other groaned as they were kicked.
Shakeily rising to his feet the now revealed Taka glares at the suit wearing group before him. While the trio were continuing their run before being thrown into an alley and jumped. As Hestia was merely being held the other two weren't so lucky as both were beaten into the ground.
"I guess Apollo heard about my level up."
Standing tall before them Hyakinthos smirked at the weaken adventurer. "Correct you are and he'd like you to reconsider his generous offer, think about it under his protection your life can go back to normal." he explain only for a weak laugh to interupt him.
"Normal!... his protection he's the one who ruined my life." he responded as he backflipped off the wall behind him using it as a springboard swinging his sword only to hit air as Hyakinthos leaned out of out of the way before being put back to the ground with a drop kick.
"If you had agreed to join the familia this won't have happened!" the Apollo captain retaliated as he slid his foot under Taka's stomach before flinging him back into the wall.
Groaning in pain Taka slowly rolled back onto his stomach getting to his knees. "I'd say fuck him but something tells me you'll be doing that tonight." he didn't get a chance to laugh as he was grabbed by the throat lifted into the air getting slammed into the wall.
Due to the beating Taka couldn't see the angry almost insane look on Hyakinthos face. "You know it's that wild unrelenting drive of yours that Apollo finds the most appealing." Drawing his sword raising it high over his head.
"I wonder how long you can stand up to a god if your one leg short!" With that Hyakinthos brought his sword down.
Time seemed to come to a crawl as the flamberge descended down on Taka, just as the blade was within striking distance it was instead blocked by a second blade.
Noticing Taka's leg was still attached to his body enraged Hyakinthos further as he now glared at the sword blocking his. "Who dares interupt..." those words died the moment he looked up seeing the ever emotionless face of Ais Wallenstein.
"Stop." was all she said making the Apollo group instantly stop what they were doing as they all took a step hoping this would appease the Sword Princess.
Just before Hyakinthos could ask what this was about...
"Oh my a familia of at least 110 attacking a familia of two, Ais maybe we should join in to help even the odds." chirped a voice from behind the group turning around they see none other then two Amazons.
Like all other Amazoness was a dark skinned woman wearing a red bikini with a top that did little to cover her breasts and a short waist scarf with leggings. By her side was another Amazoness wearing only a strip of cloth around her flat chest and a pareo around her waist. They both walked around barefoot.
These were none other then Tione and Tiona Hiryute the Amazon Sisters (2). "What do you say we even the odds Tiona?" Tione asked her younger sister who smiled with a toothy grin smiled while nodding her head eagerly drawing her weapon.
Knowing a losing battle was about to ensue Hyakinthos droppd Taka as he sheathed his weapon.
"I believe we've made our point Apollo Familia were leaving!" he shouted recieving a chorus of cheers in response. With that the Apollo familia took off.
"TAKA!" Once released Hestia quickly ran over to Taka with Lili close behind once one of the Amazons used a potion on her.
Quickly reaching into his bag Hestia quickly dowsed him with a potion healing him a bit. Getting to his feet Taka looked to his supporter. "That is why we need to level-up they use to only send level ones after me until I started working out upping my stats so I could hold most of them off." he explain.
Lili nodded her head in understanding, in this familia leveling up wasn't just to improve it was the only way to survive if this was any indication.
"Not that I don't appreciate the save but why are you here?" Taka asked as Ais walks over to him reaching into her pocket pulling out a rolled up piece of paper handing it to him.
Upon reading the letter Taka eyes first rise before going deadpan rubbing the bridge of his nose.
Noticing this Hestia and Lili look at the paper. "The Guild wants to see you!" they shouted together.
"I knew once Lili joined they come bitching to me." he muttered throwing his head back with a sigh. "I take care of this. Ah can you two make sure these two get home safely?" once getting a double nod he turned to the lone blonde.
"Great come on Ais I guess you need to show up with me to claim the reward right."
As he turned to walk a firm grip latched onto his wrist holding him in place. Following the gloved hand locks eyes with Hestia who piercing gaze was not to be ignored.
"Goddess you knew the moment we started to expand the Guild would whine about it. I'd normally just ignore it but I would put it past them to send someone to burn down the house to 'send a message'." he finished air quoting the last part.
Gather then responsed Hestia simply dove into him wrapping her arms around his middle. The Goddess's eyes widened as a strong pair of arms wrapped around her.
This moment was quickly ruined when Lili quickly joined in the hug. The three hugged for a moment longer before Taka walked toward the guild with Ais in tow.
Now alone the younger Amazon decided to ask to herself at least an innocent question. "So you three live together?" getting a nodded in return.
"And you have a small place right?" another round of nods.
"So do you three sleep in the same bed or what?" she asked knowing the familia's low numbers so not pulling in much funds. Besides when they were younger Tione and Tiona used to share a bed.
Twin blushes instantly appeared on the girls faces not on sleeping in the same bed as Taka but the thought of what they'd do while they were there.

In a room cast in shadows the only light being one in the center of the room where Taka was standing. "Taka Helmer who have ben brought before the Guild to discuss an important matter involving both you and your familia!" a voice demanding respected boomed throughout the room.
Taka hearing the voice started looking around. "How are you echoing your voice around the room like that?" clearly recognizing the voice of Royman Mardeel just joying messing with the fat elf.
"Taka pay attention."
With a sigh the room lit up revealing the Guild members. Regaining his sight Taka boticed a familiar face.
"Eina! Wow out of all the people you could have brought you actually got someone who actually knows me." Taka nodded in respect at the decision.
A small smile grace Eina's lips before clearing her throat pulling out some papers.
"Taka Helmer you have been summoned to discuss you and your status in your familia!" Royman's voice boomed regaining contol of the situation.
"In the four months since debut as an adventurers you've gone through a number of armor and weapons staffs, axes, THE CROSSBOW, shields and swords..." Eina spoke only to interupted.
"Hey you remember the nunchucks and throwing stars!" Taka laughed at the memory.
"Mr. Helmer you don't seem to be taking this seriously."
"I am, I just don't really care I my familia got jumped by Apollo's group in broad daylight." Taka eyeing the council members critically.
Some of the council members looked down in shame as this isn't the first time Taka was attacked and they choice to ignore it to avoid angering the Sun God.
"Mr. Helmer since your career as an adventurer we feel we have been lenient." Royman Mardeel continued. "Your punishment..."
"Yeah Punishment." Taka sarcastically said. "Like that dog and pony show of a trial you had for me."
"Your punishment! Do to you being the only member of your familia and aside for your Goddess was the only source of income. We allowed you to keep any magic stones or drop items you found."
Rolling his eyes in annoyance wondering when he was going to get to it.
"But now that you have gained another member of your familia it is time to reevaluate your situation." Royman Mardeel began leafing through some papers tapping at a specific section. "A supporter Miss Liliruca Arde has recently joined the Hestia Famiia..."
"NOT HAPPENING!" a voice shouted getting the Guilds attention turning to see the Goddess of the Hearth storming through the Halls of the Guild glaring at the at every member there. "No way will I let you put anyone in my familia through this abuse!"
Being the arrogant Elf that he was constantly looks down on others except for the Gods and Goddesses due to this Royman tried to calm things down. "Goddess Hestia you must understand that we've been lenient towards your child."
"Lenient yeah you were real lenient when Apollo had me arrested." he said with gritted teeth.
"You assualted a god!"
"He attacked me! With his familia! That's not even including the rest of the shit he pulled!" he shouted. "And you helped him!" he shouted accussingly.
Feeling this was leading down a negative manner Eina decided to intervine. "Taka you have to understand that things were getting out of hand."
Not hearing this Taka waved her off. "So because a guy has a small familia he takes the hit to protect a God's petty ego!"
"Taka you have to understa..."
"We're done here, you want our money it's not happening. So either hire a familia to shake us down or leave us alone! I just got another child and I'd like to make her feel welcome!" Hestia shouted flipping her hair back as she stomped away.

"Congratulations Welf!" two people cheered for the third occupant at the table this was the scene one would see if they came into the Hostess of Fertility.
"And all you had to do was help attack a random familia!" someone shouted in the background.
"Thanks guys this means alot." a surprisingly bashful Welf said as he rubbed the back of his head before downing his drink. "Yeah Taka the Hostess of Fertility is nice and all but I thought we were going the Hibachitei to celebrate?"
"Yeah Master Taka whenever we go out to eat you always have us come here, I know some places don't like you but I'm sure a bar wouldn't care as long as you pay."
"Here's your next round." chirped the ever cheerful voice of Syr Flova who after placing the drinks pulled Taka into a grinning hug. "Hey grey buddy!"
"Grey Buddy?" Welf asked as Lili glared at the waitress.
"Yeah cause of our hair." Syr said as she leaned into Taka pressing him cheek to cheek. "His is a little darker but still." she said with a laugh.
"This is why I come here she won't stop bothering me!" Taka said lightly shoving Syr away. Seconds later he started rubbing his chin in thought. "Actually Lili now that you mention it the day after all that Apollo stuff happened I just had a feeling I had to come here.(3)"
"Oh you!" Syr squealed before going back for another hug.
"Really nice to know." Pallum said through gritted teeth clearly not liking there interaction. "Why is she still holding him?!"
"You finally leveled up, so I guess this means you're done partying with us?" with Taka saying this a somber feeling washed over the group.
This didn't last for long as a mug slammed onto the table drawing there attention to Welf whose grin that threatened to split his face. "Ha yeah right the higher I level up the better my blacksmith skills improve. So no way I'm going anywhere since in the dungeon Taka hits anything that moves so leveling up should be a breeze."
Lili and Taka could only smile knowing there friend would be with them for at least a while longer.
"So party leader whats the plan?" Welf asked lifting his mug.
A smiling Taka looked to Lili smiling back at him as the two raised their own glasses. "We do what we always do go to the dungeon and level up." with that the three clink their glasses in solidarity.

"Who tries to fight a minotaur alone!" Taka shouted as he watched the albino boy Bell getting swatted around by one of the strongest monsters in the Middle Floors.
Hearing this Lili looked up at him hands on her hips with her brow raised. "Didn't you fight an Infant Dragon solo?"
"Point takin. But that thing just looks savage." Taka said as he shuttered remembering his own experience with the sam e type of monster.
Despite this the minotaur Bell was fighting was different then any others for one this one looked angry true all minotaurs looked pissed but this one looked like Bell murdered it's family or something. Another thing was it carried a weapon wielding a massive sword that it used to block a knife slash.
Turning to members of the Loki familia who were currently watching the fight. "You guys gonna go over there and help or what?" he asked choosing to ignore the glare sent to him by Bete.
"Hey he was the one shouting at the top of his lungs about how he didn't want saving, he wanted to be the hero and fight his own battles." Bete grunted out as he watched Bell get tossed around braking what was left of his armour.
"Fine stay there and keep being useless." A determined smile made its way to Taka's face as he drew Reckoning. "I won't get stronger playing it safe."
The minotaur wasn't done as it grabbed Bell in it's massive hand before squeezing.
"Welf, Lili we're going in." with that the three took off charging at the monster. "Welf high to the left, I'm going low to the right, Lili move around shooting at it never stay in the same spot." Taka ordered as the trio rushed to the enraged monster.
"Right!"
Running to the monster, Welf took to the air slashing at the minotaur's shoulder as Taka mirrored the action but to the monster's knee. As this went on Lili sent a barrage of arrows at the minotaur the triple strike did it's job the monster releasing the albino in it's grasp.
Without looking back Taka threw a potion at the downed boy the vial braking with it's contents falling on him.
"Taka get down!" hearing this Taka jumped down just as a massive sword swung over his head.
In retaliation Lili releases a few bolts that it easily blocked with it's sword. As this went on Welf charged in cutting at the monsters wrist only to be smacked away with the other.
"WELF! Lili altitude!" Taka ordered as he rolled away from a vertical hack as Lili jumped off a rock getting into the air as she release a volley of arrows.
"Master Welf are you ok?" Lili asked as Taka threw another potion getting a thumbs up.
"ROOOAAAAARRRR!" drew the twos attention to the enraged minotaur as it charged forward nearly crushing the two.
Dashing back, Taka got ready charging lighting while the monster turned to face him. Reading the bull monster's moves, Taka watched as its muscles bulged with it's sword raised ready for a swing.
"Lighting Bolt!" he shouted releasing an arc of lighting just as it was about to swing it's sword. It had the expected effect of knocking it off balance making it stumble back. Despite the shock the monster merely stomped forward, readying another strike only pierced in the shoulder by an arrow bolt.
Seeing the smaller weaker target the minotaur focused on Lili who insantly volted to the side as it rushed in with it's horns. Much to their surprise rather then crash into the dungeon wall it spun on it's hoofs going back in.
Before it could engage the two again a shout of pain erupted from it as it took a knee.
"Don't count me out just yet." a grinning Welf said as he watched the beast fall after a cut to the kneepit.
Getting back to his group the reformed trio prepared for battle only to notice the downed albino groaned as he attempted to get up.
"Ah Master Taka should we?" the Pallum asked thumbing to the struggling adventurer.
"Ignore him that was a low potion enough to keep him alive but unless he's got another potion he ain't getting back up." Taka explained as the monster shakily rose to it's feet sword in hand.
"Get ready here it comes!"
At that the beast began it's assault only less refined and more wild heavily swinging the sword.
The three jumped in different directions before engaging the beast Taka and Welf crossed the monster double slashing it across the chest. Ignoring the hit the minotaur swung it's seperating the two before grabbing Welf tossing him into Taka sending the two to the ground.
Standing over the two the minotaur raised it's sword only to be shoot in the face with a blast of fire.
Seeing the opportunity the 2 level two's ran forward before delivering a double uppercut to the minotaur's chin.
"Is that... Hope this works!" Welf thought to himself as he moved.
Jumping back Welf turns to Lili. "Little Bit I need to borrow this?!" he desperatly asked. As the magic knife reached his had the blacksmith could feel all of the magical power flowing through it.
"Taka get ready." With that Welf aimed the knife at the minotaur now back on it's feet roaring in blind rage before charging at the trio. "Little Bit see if you can slow it down."
Reaching into her pack Lili was disappointed to find nothing that could stop it or even slow it down only a single bolt.
"Master Taka hit it!"
Nodding in understanding. "Lighting Bolt!" a bolt of lighting released from his fingers into the beasts stomach while it didn't stop it the blast as least reduced it's speed giving Lili a shot.
Down to her last arrow Lili release it soaring through the air as almost guided by the Gods embedded itself in the minotaur's eye.
"Veritas Burn!" he shouted as the fireball was released the small blast being replaced with a massive one.
"SWOOSH!"
The Fireball swooshed through the air impacting the monster with it's guard down the minotaur could do nothing to stop the blast as it collided.
As the smoke cleared the group was surprised to see the minotaur still standing. Dashing forward Taka threw Reckoning into the beasts sword arm removing it as the sword clanked to the ground. Jumping into the air Taka rammed the Hestia Sword into the monsters throat decapitating it.
"Lighting Bolt!" Not taking anything to chance he released another bolt into the body for good measure.
With only the magic stone remaining the trio slumped down exhaustion each feeling like they were hit by a cart full of rocks. "Lili, Welf you still breathing?"
"Yes!"
"Yup."
Hearing this Taka got up. "Good let's grab Bell and get out of here." dusting himself off as he walked over grabbed the magic stone, his sword and the massive minotaur sword.
Surprised by the sword weight Taka almost fell over only to be halted by an additional hand grabbing the blade. Turning around Taka was shocked to see the gold eyes of Ais who quickly inspected the sword.
"Good work. You fought well you and your team." recieving a smile in return the two turned to Bell who was finally able to get to his feet.
Ever being the nice guy Welf walked over to the albino slapping him on the back. "How are you feeling man looks like you made through your first minotaur attack. And from what I hear did it better the Taka over here." Welf said with a laugh.
"Don't kill the blacksmith!" Taka thought darkly as his eye twitched.
Rubbing the back of his head a small smile formed on Bell's face. "Thank-you but I just thought that if I really tried I could beat it, but I could barely do anything." he choked out as tears began to form. "How can I ever stand by her side if I can't even do this." the image of Ais appeared in his mind only to slowly walk away. "I have to get stronger!"
While this emotion display did wonders to the Amazon sisters, Lili and Welf the rest were not as swayed. Being one of the few not affected Bete decided to rush in.
"Hahaha you think a weakling like could beat that thing. These runts needed to work together to stop it." Bete talked down to Bell gaining a glare from Taka's group. "You should just stop trying as an adventurer and just leave it to a First Class Adventurer like me." he said with a cocky smirk thumbing to himself.
"Asshole." was the general thought of everyone in the dungeon.
With that done Bete turned to real thorn in his side. "And don't think I forgot about you!"
"I thought you said he was't holding a grudge." Taka harshly whispered to Ais seeing he was the one the werewolf was pointing at.
Ais merely shrugged.
"You just think your so clever, but lets see how you deal with someone that's on to your tricks." the werewolf smirked feel proud of himself.
"Well when I find someone like that I'll be so sure to tell you."
Bete's glare intensified. "You grr I gggrrr just meet me at the bar and I'll win!" he ordered as he grabbed rogue adventurer keeping him in place. "Or are you scared Dodo!"
Seeing he wasn't going to be left only Taka looked Bete before his eyes shifted up to his ears as an idea formed in Taka's head. "Oh this going to be fun. I'm about to rip your world asunder."
"Your on!" he shouted much to the shock of everyone for while Taka outwitted Bete the first time he was clearly sober and thus more prepared for whatever tricks Taka might have.
"Prefect let's go to the..."
"But I don't like doing the same thing twice so we'll do something else." Taka interrupted. "I challenge you to..."
"What's he going to do?" everyone asked themselves knowing Taka was not someone to cross.
"A foot race." he simply said.
"WHAT!" everyone shouted with a face fault surprised by the response.
Bete glared harsher at Taka as he pulled him in closer. "You idiot a foot race really did you forget I'm a werewolf we were born for speed. There is no way a human could out run a werewolf." he growl in annoyance at the waste of his time.
"Thought you were a wolf not a chicken."

"Okay everyone let's get this over quickly!" Bete shouted over the crowd the quickly formed after hearing the news once the group made it back to the surface.
Off in the distance away from the growing crowd was Hestia familia sans Taka's blacksmith Welf. Sitting on a crate was Taka were on his left was Lili currently glaring at her new Goddess who gleefully had taken to rubbing her child's shoulders.
"Will you cut that out!" Lili asked as she wrestled with her Goddess.
"I'm helping him stay limber!" Hestia defended herself before leaning forward rubbing her cheek against a blushing Taka's. "It's a Goddess job to care for her child."
Rather then call bull Lili instead asked the real question. "Master Taka are you sure this is a good idea? I mean Bete is like three levels higher then you, is the recorded fastest runner in the Loki Familia and even has two skills that can increase his speed even greater."
The two girls watched as Taka sat there not moving or even breathing after what felt like hours was actually seconds Taka spoke. "I was not aware of that." he then rose to feet before stretching before walking over to Bete. "Oh well wish me luck."
Making it to the level five adventurer in front of the Hostess of Fertility the human locked eyes with werewolf.
Despite remembering his earlier defeat Bete smirked at the idea of revenge even if Taka knew every short cut and preblocked off every road he would have run through there was no way he could lose this race.
"So are you ready?"
"Yes you idiot!"
"Whatever?" Taka rolling his eyes in annoyance.
"Gonna be a quick race." Bete smugly said.
"I know that how races usually go." Taka said in a tone as if one were speaking to a child. "Being really fast."
"I hate you so much!"
"Join the club they meet once a week."
While enjoying this Loki wanted to get to this party started. "Alright everyone lets get this started according to the agreed rules in simple: The first one to reach the door of the Hostess of Fertility wins.
The two nodded in understanding.
"And because I'm hungry the loser (The Bird!) pays for everyone's meal." Loki added ignoring Bete's out burst.
"Okay on my mark get set in 3...2...1...GO!"

With that a blur soared through the streets of Orario blasting through the streets picking up pavement creating an updraft the pulling cloths from the clothslines, ripping plants out of there pots and even sending a few unspecting people to the ground. The carnage caused by the blur even rammed through one wall of a house going through the other.
Another house had it's windows shattered open as something crashed through it and for some reason burst out the chimney as it briefly soared through the air jumping off rooftops.
"TAKA!"
A voice shouted pulling Taka out of his daze at the display of speed seeing just how outclassed he was and how much he had to improve to ensure he got his vengeance.
"Wh.. what."
"Taka the race?" Hestia asked knowing the distance was to great and if Taka had a plan he better do it now.
"Oh right the race." with that Taka whated over Hostess of Fertility touching it's door. "I win." he said dryly.
"Bullshit!"
"Cheater!"
"Dodo the Lier!"
"I knew he could win through skill just a dirty rooten cheater!"
The voices of the people (including some members of the Apollo Familia) who took this challenge as a way to make some money decided to make some bets only to come up short compared the few that knew Taka bet on him a certain Busty Loli Goddess being one of them.
Opening the door for his Goddess and Supporter Taka looks to the onlookers. "The rule was the first to reach to door never once did they say I had to run around to city that was all him. Must be a wolf thing."
With that the door closed the trio intending to grab something before said wolf returns.
Still the cries of outrage continued to roar outside only to be ignored no one noticing Hyakinthos seething in the background. This lasted for only a second as a smirk slowly replaced it as backed into the crowd.

Longest Chapter yet yay for me!
(1) Apollo and only a few of the Gods actually knew what a Dodo was while the rest just laughed at how funny the name was.
(2) I completely forgot I mentioned these two earlier when I wrote this description.
