I'm back! This time with the rest of what I had from my two week silence. Though, that means that the third part of Episode 4 will take a while, especially since I have to focus my time to study for exams.

- Reviews -

Nemonobody001: Thank you! I'll certainly try to.

Greer123: Thanks!

E .Paradox: Don't worry, I've seen your review. I had to delete the previous chapter and reupload it because FF didn't seem to update my story after about an hour. Turning aura into Stand power was something I quickly thought up of, but I'm going to have to iron out details at a some point in the story. That part, with the proto-requiem Stand, I'm not entirely sure how I would make that work.

Guest on Apr 25: It's going to be fun writing out how they react and think about the implications. And don't worry, I'm generally good with handling deadlines, as for writer's block. I usually put in these small notes when writing out the transcript like, "Cast comment about this." as an example. The tricky part for me is how do I make it seem natural, getting the cast to transition from one topic of the discussion to the next. That's usually what takes time for me to do.

kept123: No problem, and those moments are so very not Di Molto.

Zero: Joseph Joestar's signature, "NICE~!"

awesomenessomar5: I certainly hope it doesn't as well.

X3runner: Since my predecessor did that, I might as well follow in the footsteps before stepping out. About Yang, yes, that was what made her fun until the show got a bit angsty. Glad you enjoyed that.

Nobody: Thanks, and here it is.

Thankful Guest: I appreciate your praise. It didn't make much sense to me that in those kinds of fics, that they would do that. Because there wouldn't be much of a point to have the cast just ask this one character for the answers. Especially since the whole idea of reaction fics were to have the cast watch another piece of media, and get their thoughts on what happens.

Now, I will say that at certain points of the story, I will occasionally have some information about The Entertainer be dropped. Though, I can promise you that it's not going to be a big part of the fic.

Nobody: Smaller and detailed chapters are very plausible for me to complete, though I must say that I would do those within a week and a half of time. So if I were to do that, expect chapters to be released once every other week or so. The amount of commentary from the previous chapter was because that was the start. So when I split it, I was able to add more details to a detailed beginning. As others stated before, Pyrrha has the most potential to change after watching Jaune's adventure, but I have to thank you for getting my attention on it. And Roman already has enough reason to bail out on his employer, he just needs a good push to do it.

And since a lot of people are suggesting that the cast react to Jotaro vs DIO, or a bit more of DIO's backstory, I might as well address it. Right now, I plan to have this fiction generally focus more on the main story of Part 5. If I were to do Jotaro vs DIO, I would do it sometime around episode 15 or 20.

I'm going to leave that previous sentence up, but I looked through the episode catalogue, and noticed that there are actually recap episodes such as 13.5, 21.5, and 28.5. If I were to take a break from the main story and show some bits about the past, I would place it between those episodes where recap episodes happened.

The students started to freak out about the predicament. Koichi is in the grasps of Polpo's Stand, with an arrow aimed directly at his Stand's throat.

"Oh no..." Weiss didn't want to see another bloody death.

"Not him too!" Nora freaked out.

"You saw the lighter being relit, didn't you?" Koichi's Stand was grabbed around the neck as an arrow was aimed at its throat. "You have two possible paths."

"Your first path is to become a chosen one."

"Wh-What's going on?"

"Your only other path is death." The arrow came closer to puncture Echoes. Only then did Koichi recognize it.

"This arrow is..." A look of shock was present on his face. Before he could continue, Giorno called out.

"[Gold Experience]!" Shimmering light bursted out as the Stand came charging in to grab the arrow head with its right hand.

As it grabbed the sharp arrowhead, blood immediately bursted out of the Stand's hand. Causing its user to try and suppress his scream.

"It hurts so much..." Giorno's hand replicated the same injury that the Stand suffered.

"...He really doesn't even have an aura." Cinder still couldn't fathom it. All the potential power a Stand could present could easily be for nothing by a single bullet to the user's head.

"I suppose that proves our theory." Ironwood kept his expression still, trying to keep his attention at the Stand.

Nicolas and Saphron shared the same looks as well. There is a reason why there's only huntsmen with auras still around. Without an aura, Jaune could get injured pretty badly, or worse.

Possibly more shocked than anyone in the theater was Pyrrha, as she cupped her mouth in shock. She wanted to hope that it wasn't true at all, that all of Jaune's aura didn't transform into a Stand. But this was what settled it. This very could be a fight where Jaune could die.

Neo held a fist to her open mouth as she was surprised too. But unlike the others in the theater, her entertainment just got even better.

"This hurts like hell, but now… it looks like I was able to drag you out into the sunlight." The railing that Gold Experience passed by started to morph, light seeping through as it turned into flower vines.

Koichi watched in wonder and surprise as the railing gave way to shine on the Stand. It started to scream in agony as it erupted into flames.

"I turned part of the handrail into morning glories and let them hang down." Giorno had a smug look as he pointed his injured hand at the Stand. "Now you're out of the handrail's shadow!"

"H-He got him!" Ruby felt glad for her friend now that he has a fighting chance.

Nicolas was a bit skeptical. He wouldn't rest until he saw the thing gone beyond reasonable doubt.

Roman couldn't help but sweat, seeing the Stand cry out in pain by being burned reminded him of what would happen if he didn't satisfy his employer with results.

As it was screaming in pain, the stand reached out its hand on to a shadow, its finger just barely reaching it, before it morphed into a dark liquid. The liquid retreated into the shadow, where it vanished.

"Dang! Man." Neptune just watched a ghost get burned. "He got away."

"Jaune knows its weakness now." Yang held a fist up. "He should be able to take him out easily."

"Doesn't that mean that Polpo's going to be burned alive?" Neptune replied as the other students shuddered.

"...Polpo killed a civilian." Ruby stared off for a moment. "He should be punished, but, I don't think he should... die."

"That would be ideal, but Ruby." Blake looked at her seriously. "How's he going to be punished? He's in an organization that pays off the authorities, and who's going to believe that he killed a man while he was in prison?"

"Ugh." She didn't know what to think. "It's just… Polpo shouldn't be getting away with this, but there has to be another way to punish him."

Koichi was still trying to mentally put together what happened.

"So close!" Giorno was a bit disappointed. "There were more shadows nearby, so it managed to escape. But it looks like if I can drag that thing completely out into the sunlight, I might be able to win."

"Wh- What was..." Koichi stood up to face him. He jumped down to get closer to him, making sure to avoid the shadow of the building. "What was that Stand?!"

"As you saw, it's trying to attack us. The old man who relit this lighter was killed. Because we saw it being relit, both you and I are now its targets."

"That's not what I meant." Koichi interrupted him. "That arrow… It's from the Bow and Arrow!" Koichi had a nervous look on him.

Sun was confused. "Pretty sure there's more important things to worry about right now than an arrow."

"The arrow from that flashback?" Pyrrha remembered the grisly details. "Wasn't it... stuck in his throat?"

"Well, he can't be alive after that!" Nora interjected.

"There has to be something important about it." Ren added on.

"I didn't know one was in Naples, too… What are you doing, Giorno Giovanna?! Is it because of you that another Stand with the arrow appeared?!" As he was done questioning him, he noticed to the side that the Stand that attacked him was just off to his right. Standing there, doing nothing.

"It'll take too long to explain everything..." Giorno explained. "But I don't know anything. Do you know something about that Stand? And about that arrow?"

"Why did you save me?" Koichi ignored his questions.

"Telling me about that arrow is more important! The sun's going to set!"

"Why did you save me?!"

Koichi was getting even mad as he pointed a finger at him.

"Don't you dare assume that I feel like I owe a thief like you anything!" Giorno stood there thinking of what he should do.

"He can ask Jaune questions later! Shouldn't he help him stop that Stand?!" Yang's patience was worn thin with Koichi's constant questioning.

"Well, he's not wrong." Mercury said with as little care as he usually does. Earning some stares by the students.

Emerald quickly elbowed him. "Sorry, ignore him."

Giorno turned to face him as his eyes darken. "The lighter being lit is because of something I did. There was nothing I could've done for that old man. I feel awful about it." GIorno's right hand dripped blood. "I believe what I did was right, but I feel dark and gross inside."

"There's still a chance for you to turn away from this, Mr. Arc." Oobleck set his drink down. "There are many ways a person can help others."

"That might be true." General Ironwood turned toward the doctor. "But sometimes, good men have to get dirty to keep the world clean."

"But at what cost?" Oobleck asked him, to which Ironwood didn't say his answer.

Koichi listened as the atmosphere started to settle down.

"But despite that, I, Giorno Giovanna, have a dream that I believe to be right." Giorno gave his reasoning to the third-year student with a fierce, unwavering gaze. After that, Koichi turned to face the enemy Stand.

"Two years ago, I was shot with a similar arrow and gained my Stand ability." Koichi could remember it vividly. "If the person shot with the arrow doesn't awaken to that ability, they will die."

"That's how you obtain a Stand?" Ozpin looked surprised at that one.

"Astounding." Ironwood said. "I would have to get a team to research the properties of the arrow to understand just what it does."

"How interesting." Cinder voiced to herself. The arrow would be another object of interest that she would have to obtain, along with the maiden's power.

"So, anyone could get a Stand?" Ruby looked toward her teammates.

"That seems like it." Weiss answered her. "But is that all it is? A gamble to receive a Stand?"

'Awaken to the ability? That's it! That's what it meant by "chosen one"!' Giorno thought as he looked at the lighter in his hand. 'Someone whose Stand awakened! And that must be the motive behind Polpo's test!'

"I don't know about the origin of the arrow, but I've met a Stand very similar to this one before. It's a long-distance remote-controlled Stand!"

"Long-distance and remote-controlled?"

"It can only carry out simple commands, but it won't stop attacking until it's fulfilled its motive."

"Attacking anyone who sees the lighter being relit..." Winter, along with everyone else, started to catch on to the nature of this Stand.

"He's met other Stand users?" Cinder said as took that into consideration, as did some of Ozpin's group.

"If my son was able to manifest a Stand, there's no doubt that others might have one as well." Nicolas said.

"Our best option is to find the Stand user and take them down." Koichi finished explaining the nature of Polpo's Stand.

"Sadly, that's not an option. The user is in a jail cell. We can't get to him." Giorno told him as Koichi looked at him in slight shock.

"Safety from the confines of his comfortable cell." Roman couldn't help but admire the capo's setup.

"Any way, that thing won't be able to leave the school building's shadow, so let's head into the sunlight while it's still available."

Giorno looked toward the scooter. "Then, before the sun goes down, we'll lure it into the shadow of something that can move, and then we'll get rid of that shadow. That way, we can drag it into the sunlight."

"Got it!" Koichi ran after Giorno to quickly enact their plan.

Two crows were flying high with their backs toward the sun. Unbeknownst to the two Stand users, Polpo's Stand grabbed hold of its cloak and swung it as though it were ripping it off, the scene transitioning to the backs of the crows.

"Well, the kid's not gonna make it very far." Qrow knew the instant he saw those birds.

Nicolas had the sneaking suspicion of what it just did.

Koichi looked behind, only to see that the Stand wasn't there anymore. "I- It's gone!"

Giorno didn't notice Koichi behind him as he ran closer to the shadow of the tree. The tip of his shoe just touching a tiny part of the shadow was enough for ripples to appear, just before an arm reached out and grabbed his ankle.

"I've got you!"

"Wh-What?!" The Stand whipped down Giorno causing him to drop his lighter.

"No!" Pyrrha's worry shot up.

"Jaune!" Saphron was frightened.

Most in the theater were at the edge of their seats.

"You saw the lighter being relit, didn't you?" The Stand once again said its default line. Both Giorno and Koichi were surprised. Until Koichi looked up.

"The crows! It hid in the shadows of those crows and moved over there in them!"

"Th-This thing..." Gold Experience emerged from its user.

"Muda DA!" Gold Experience delivered a barrage of kicks towards the face of Polpo's Stand, none of them hitting its mark before it grabbed the leg.

"Sh-Shit! While in the shadows, its power and speed are much higher!" Giorno said as an arrow was drawn out.

"No kidding!" Sun couldn't believe how quick it was to grab him. "That thing's so fast!"

"How's Jaune going to get it to let go of him?" Ren questioned him.

"Please, Koichi, help him!" Pyrrha begged him to.

"Act 3! 3 Freeze!" Koichi called out, his Stand reaching out to apply force to the shadow Stand's hands. "My Echoes Act 3's ability is to make Stands or people heavier."

"I've made its hands heavier, so much that it won't be able to lift a finger from the ground." Echoes informed them.

"That's pretty useful, especially in this situation." Ren, as were the remaining members of JNPR

"Finally." Blake relaxed slightly. "He got him to stay still."

"Thank you, Koichi" Sapron looked toward the student on screen.

"Doesn't it still have a hold on his legs?" Qrow said, and quite possibly jinxed.

Despite that, Giorno could still feel pain from the Stand grabbing hold of his.

"It should let go. I made the entirety of its hands heavier! It shouldn't be able to bend its fingers anymore!"

"It's strong..." Giorno told him. "It's determined not to let go, no matter what."

"It's terrifying how tenacious it is." Ironwood commented. "With such a simple task and its ability to be autonomous, I doubt anything will stop it."

Though Ozpin's group and the teachers agreed on that, the students were still freaking out.

"Its fingers are still around his legs!" Nora grabbed her head. "How's it going to unbend its fingers?!"

"Koichi's going to have to use his ability after Jaune gets free." Weiss told her team. To which, Blake replied back to her.

"But then he'll just be back at where he started. How's he going to get it to let go of him?"

"You have two possible paths..." The Stand kept going, trying to puncture Giorno with the arrow.

'I-It's no use!' Koichi was mentally panicked right now. 'Any damage inflicted upon the Stand goes right back to the user! At this rate, Giorno's legs are going to break!'

Gold Experience's legs could be seen slightly deforming to the Stand's grip. Koichi rushed to fix this.

"Help him, man! Do something!" Sun didn't enjoy the suspense.

"Hang in there!"

The students gave their worries to their friend and classmate.

Cinder and Emerald looked at the screen with little worry, but were was no doubt interested in this story of Jaune. The same could be said with Mercury, if it wasn't for the fact that he was wincing at the idea of having legs snapped. His own having been replaced with robotic counterparts.

Neo had bet that he would come out on top, but it didn't really matter who wins for her. She leaned slowly forward as Roman sat there with a cigar lit idly in his mouth.

"Act 3! Undo 3 Freeze..."

"No." Giorno calmly interrupted Koichi before he could finish. "Don't do that, Koichi. This ability that makes things heavier… Don't you dare undo it. This is perfect." A slight coy smile could be made out as Giorno grew more determined.

"This is exactly the ability that I was looking for!"

"But your leg's going to shatter!" Koichi pointed out as he grew even more panicked. A loud snap could be heard as all stood still.

"Jaune!"

"Noo!"

Nicolas and Saphron shouted in disbelief.

Ruby preemptively covered her eyes. Yet the thought of shattered bone peeking through his leg persisted. The rest of Team RWBY were in disbelief as well. Weiss covered her mouth as Blake clenched her lips shut.

Cardin gripped his seat's armrest. He got what he wanted, for Jaune to be injured, and yet he still didn't feel any better.

The adults, while handling it well enough, weren't unaffected by the scene. The two teachers shared a somber expression with each other. Qrow already had his flask out, and was getting ready to take his drink.

Nora's eyes widened as Ren held on to her.

Pyrrha was on the verge of breaking down. Her vision being obscured from the tears in her eyes.

Koichi looked at the scene in horror, until the tree from behind him started to break apart. The branches fell with a crack, causing him to turn around.

"Wh-What? That tree..."

"Gold Experience is an ability that continuously gives life," He said as the tree started to grow rapidly. "so that tree continued to grow, lived the extent of its life, and is now starting to wither."

"N-No way…!" Saphron's jaw dropped after seeing it was just the tree branch that snapped.

"So, he's okay?" Ruby opened up one eye to see.

Pyrrha wiped clean her face and looked back onto the screen.

"Ability?" Koichi looked at him in surprise. "But that tree's at least ten meters away..." He stopped what he was going to say as he noticed the cracks in the ground.

"So you got to the tree's roots by digging that hole!"

The trunk of the tree bursted open, the dust from the wood quickly giving way to the shining sun.

"That's remarkable quick thinking of him!" Port complimented him.

"H-He got him! Again!" Ruby's smile grew as she held on to her teammates in joy.

"You got this, fearless leader!" Nora gained her posture back and cheered greatly, this time, Ren letting her do it freely.

The shadow burned away as the Stand was left out in the open to burn as well.

"Y-You did it! The shadow's gone! It's been dragged out into the daylight!" Polpo's Stand quickly looked around to find any shadows to hide in. Looking toward the hole Gold Experience made, it reached out only to have the life-giving Stand step down on its arm.

Gold Experience simply kicked up sand into the hole to block out any shadows. Causing Polpo's Stand to scream in both agony and shock.

Neo held a hand to her mouth to cover her smile. Even Stands, remote-controlled ones, could feel pain. While Roman had almost a sense of pity for the Stand, though he didn't know why.

"You told me there were two paths, but sadly, you only have one." He turned his attention toward his ally. "Koichi, could you move to the right a little?"

"No, don't tell me he's..." Sun and Neptune could feel something great about to happen.

"Huh? Like this?" Koichi took two steps backwards. Giorno humming in acknowledgement.

"Hmm..." He tilted his head slightly as he paused for a moment to think.

"Muda! Muda! Muda! Muda! Muda! Muda! MUDA!" Gold Experience released a heavy barrage of punches, all aimed for the face of the enemy Stand, all hitting their mark with a satisfying sound that guaranteed it.

It's final punch sending Polpo's blazing Stand up into the sky.

"Bask in the sunlight. That's it." Giorno flicked a finger toward the Stand sent flying. "That's your one possible path."

"Oh yeah!" Sun and Neptune fist bumped each other for his use of a one-liner. "He's an honorary Vacuoan now!"

Polpo's Stand landed on the ground with a thud, before continuing to be burned by the sun's light. Quickly disintegrating as it gave one final pained howl. Polpo's Stand was no more.

"He made it!" Sapron said as she hugged her father. The rest of the students started to relax a bit.

"I knew he could defeat it, without a shadow of doubt." Yang made her pun, and looked toward her teammates to see their reactions.

"Uh… Yang, I don't think you should say that." Weiss looked at the blonde grimly. "I'm pretty sure Polpo is burned in his cell."

"Yeah, because Jaune just roasted- oh... oh..." Yang just realized what might've truly happened. As did everyone else, the students realizing they got carried away in the moment.

"Polpo's dead now, isn't he?" Blake, despite having done terrible actions for the White Fang, felt uncomfortable at what she witnessed.

Pyrrha swallowed. "I imagine it's more… grisly in his cell."

"I'm really hoping we don't get to see that." Ruby deflatedly said. All the excitement from watching Jaune succeed had gone away.

"I… regret saying that." Yang had an apologetic expression.

Roman put out his signature cigar as he overheard. "No wonder I felt pity for the thing."

Emerald and Mercury felt a bit put off. As they remembered their boss's affinity for fire. Cinder grew a small smile of satisfaction in seeing the fear of burning that she so enjoys.

With that, Gold Experience dematerialized, and just in time as the sun finally hid behind the buildings with no spots of sunlight in view. Giorno reached down to pick up the lighter that was luckily still lit.

"Still, I have to wonder," Giorno spoke to himself as Koichi kept looking at him. "if I'm still going to be able to join the gang now. What to do..." Giorno looked away, off into the setting sun.

"Jaune's alright and safe now. I'm very glad about that." Pyrrha was definitely happy about it. "But…"

"Did Polpo really deserve to die?" Ruby said quietly.

"Polpo did kill that janitor. And what about the many people that either failed his lighter's test, or who just saw the lighter being lit in passing?" Ren presented this to her.

"I understand that, but I still think he shouldn't have died." Ruby still couldn't accept it. "There could've been another way!"

"Maybe, but what's done is done. My son is alright, and that's fine." The students turned to see Nicolas say that, surprisingly.

"You're okay with Jaune killing Polpo?" Yang's voice raised slightly.

"No, I'm not." Nicolas firmly said. "But as a huntsman, I understand that there will be times where you're forced to make a choice. If he didn't take out that Stand, both my son and Koichi could've ended up dead."

"But…!" Ruby stopped herself. What if there really was no other way? Was killing Polpo the only solution?

"Students. He's right." Glynda said somberly to the group of kids. "There will be a day where you might have to take a life to save someone."

Roman didn't feel like lighting up his cigar that he put out. However, he looked toward Neo to see her kicking her legs giddy.

"Satisfied with that fight?" He asked her, only for her to shake her head happily.

Now that the fight was over, Cinder had time to think to herself without keeping her attention on the screen.

'Stands...' She mentally said. 'They're very powerful. In fact, they're probably almost as good as an experienced huntsman.'

'But the only "guaranteed" way of obtaining a Stand is through that arrow. It could end up killing me if I don't awaken to its power.' She acknowledged the obvious drawbacks. 'Or perhaps awakening to a Stand is tied with the amount of aura a person has. I doubt a frail old man would have the aura a trained fighter would have.'

Oh, those poor students don't know what their friend is going to do next.

I don't have much to say just in general, so I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
