Their next shift rolled round, and Sylvie stared at the notice Boden had put up with their list of floaters for the next couple of weeks. It looked like mostly one guy, so hopefully they'd at least get along. Walking into the common room, she spotted most of the shift was already there.

"Hey, what do you guys know about Erik McAuley?" The room filled with groans, and Cruz looked like he was going to keel over in his seat.

"Total bummer, why?" He asked, looking at Sylvie perplexed.

"Since Mills is working squad, McAuley's gonna relieve him on ambo."

"Oh God," Cruz moaned, but drowned out by Gabby's "No way."

Sylvie turned to stare at her roommate. "Huh?"

"I'll go work on Ambo before McAuley comes back here and brings the whole house down with his Eeyore routine." Boden nodded at her words before looking over at Matt.

"Ok. Casey, you willing to give up your candidate for a few shifts till I find myself someone permanent?"

"Yeah, sure." Matt nodded as he spoke, looking at the two women. "Works for me and means we don't have a bad mood hanging over us."

"Thank you, Dawson." Boden went to his office and shut the door.

"Let me get changed, meet you at the rig to do inventory?" Gabby asked. Sylvie just smiled and nodded, turning around to get started.

Sylvie had thought she'd seen it all in her time in Chicago, but watching her former partner climb on top of a ladder to lift a guy who was impaled off a lamppost down was a new one, even for her. She and Gabby worked like they hadn't been apart, and had him in Med before she even realised they were there. Halstead waved at her, and the two women gave a fist bump before getting ready to leave.

Wheeling out the gurney, the elevator in front of them opened up and Kelly walked out, smiling at the unexpected sight.

"What happened to you? You get handsy with the guys on truck again?" He asked Gabby, a smirk on his face.

"Your fault. Mills is filling in on squad, I had to step up or the house would get McAuleyed. What was I supposed to do?" She rolled her eyes as they made the gurney up with fresh linens.

"Good news for Mills, though. I'll be back next shift at least. Just got the all clear!" Sylvie high fived him at the news, glad to see him back at work and not stuck at home soon.

This was the in between shifts she didn't like as much, Antonio was with his kids for the weekend so they didn't have much time to text. She kept busy with a Zumba class and wandering around the city. It'd started to warm up and she got away without her wool coat while going to museums. She'd seen Matt leaving Gabby's room on Sunday morning when she got up to make a hangover breakfast for them. He was a semi permanent fixture around the apartment, and she was waiting for Otis to notice and start another betting pool.

When she and Gabby arrived for their Monday morning shift they immediately saw Matt, Kelly and Mills in Boden's office. It didn't look good, but Sylvie ignored the feeling in her gut seeing it happen and got ready before sitting in her normal seat for the morning briefing. The four men left Boden's office and stood before Boden spoke.

"Mills has an announcement to make."

"I've made up my mind, I'm moving to North Carolina," Mills said, standing straight and looking at the house. Sylvie's eyes filled with tears at the thought of losing her partner.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, back up a minute. Is this some kind of joke?" Cruz blurted out, speaking for the entire shift.

"It was a difficult decision to make, but I have to do it."

"But you just got back on squad!" With Cruz's words, Boden stepped in.

"That's why I've temporarily expanded squad for one shift. This is Mills' last shift in 51, so he can finish it out where he belongs. Let's get to work, folks!" They stood there in mildly stunned silence for a moment before Herrmann broke it.

"Mills, if you're leaving that means a going away party, right?" Peter nodded at his words. "Right, Molly's tomorrow night, what do you say?" Mills broke out in a grin.

They all started working, putting Peter's impending departure to the back of their mind. The shift passed even quicker than normal for Sylvie, and even the jokes about Matt's latest construction job being in a strip club didn't improve her mood. Antonio was waiting for her when she finished shift, and they started what had quickly become a post shift routine of breakfast and catching up before he had to go to work.

"Mills is leaving, that was his final shift," she said, in between bites of her eggs. Antonio was shocked, putting his fork on his plate with a loud clank.

"What? Didn't he just get back on his team?"

"Yeah. His family's moving to North Carolina, so he's going too. We've got a going away party for him tonight, you interested?" She smiled at him as she spoke, and got a nod.

"Of course. Trudy will probably be there, so most of the precinct will be. We're going over files all day today so I'll pick you up around seven?" She nodded as he checked his watch and saw the time. "Gotta go, I already get shit for not being in at eight thirty the days you've finished shift. Worth it though." He leaned over and kissed her before standing up, putting down two bills to cover their food. She reached to give them back to him, but he put them down.

"Use your money to get your uber home. I'll pick you up later." They kissed goodbye, and Sylvie finished her food before leaving. The last thing she wanted to do was go home and brood about Peter, so instead she went into the mall to look for something to buy as a leaving present for her Partner. She passed through stores until she saw one of the engraving stores that sold chefs knives too. Staring at the knives she found the perfect one for Mills, almost identical to the one he'd always had in his hands in the house. It cost more than she planned, but it was worth it to have with love from 51 engraved along the hilt. They wrapped it for her, and she put it into her duffle for the trip home.

The apartment was quiet, Gabby on the couch napping. Sylvie went to her room and napped for a few hours before getting up and joining Gabby on the couch. The day after shift, when they were still tired and groggy and just vegged out was the best kind of day for her. They worked long weeks, averaging more than 60 hours in a week on duty. Getting to pretend she didn't have to do anything was really the best thing.

Gabby made them sandwiches and soup for a late dinner before they got ready to go out. Getting primped for a night in Molly's was normal for her, but she felt like she was going to a funeral as well. She got her lipstick on and was ready by the time Antonio arrived at the door, holding out his arms for his sister and girlfriend.

Sylvie couldn't hold it together saying goodbye, and Mills laughed at the tear streaking down her face before letting out some of his own. She gave him a hug, feeling his comforting weight beside her for the last time. "I got you something. It's nothing big, but just to say goodbye." She handed over the parcel, and Mills grinned opening it, seeing the engraving written there.

"I'll treasure it. Thanks, Brett," he whispered in her ear before going to their other friends. She leaned against Antonio, who hooked his arm around her waist. They stayed there till Mills said goodnight, and left, before leaving themselves.

The uber back to Sylvie's apartment was barely five minutes. When they arrived in Sylvie popped open two beers, handing one to Antonio. They sat in silence for a few moments before Sylvie blurted out "I'm really going to miss him. He was my first permanent partner." And her tears flowed. She cried in his arms for a few minutes, before sniffling and sitting up straight.

"God that was sexy for you. Sorry, sorry," she wiped her eyes and took a deep breath. Antonio put his bottle on the coffee table and turned to her.

"You're gorgeous, Sylvie. You're beautiful and you're sexy and you're an amazing woman, and this is probably way too soon but I love you. I know it's only been a few months but I love you."

Sylvie cut him off with a searing kiss, straddling him. "I love you too," she murmured, giggling as he stood up, picking her up and holding her against him, making their way to her bedroom. He set her down on the bed, and they undressed each other, a frantic movement of body parts as fabric went flying. By the time they were both naked, he settled between Sylvie's legs, licking and sucking into her neck. His lips were rough against her skin, his beard scratching her in a way that should be painful but was so, so pleasurable.

He licked his way down her body, making sure to spend time on her nipples and boobs, sucking an identical small mark at the bottom of each breast, marking her fully as his. He continued his journey down to where he needed to be, kissing the scar from when she got her appendix out, and every single piece of her creamy flesh he could find. By the time he reached her pussy she was bucking her hips, begging for attention.

"Shh, patience baby," he murmured, running his tongue down each side of her, tasting her fully. Sylvie almost couldn't breathe from need, moving her hips unconsciously until he held them down and dived in. His tongue drew shapes all around her clit as she bucked up, while his fingers found that spot in her and drove her wild. She couldn't keep quiet and moaned her way to an orgasm, her back arching like a porn star when she came.

Antonio knew her well enough to know that she needed to recover after an orgasm, and moved back up, holding her tightly while pressing soft open mouthed kisses to her shoulder. Once she regained control of her limbs, she turned over, curling into him and kissing her own mark into his shoulder. Sylvie's hand reached across him into the nightstand, pulling out a condom from the box she'd bought when they started dating. She rolled it onto him, practiced and sure as they kissed.

He moved into position between her legs and stretched her open, making her feel full and complete and alive. They never really looked at each other during sex, preferring to close their eyes, but this time she stared into his brown ones with her blues, and all she could see was the love they'd declared shining through. It didn't take long before he'd brought her to the brink of another orgasm, and as she fell over the edge he did too, pulling their sweaty bodies close together as their pleasure rocked through them.

All too soon they separated, Antonio getting rid of the condom before getting back into bed with her, the big spoon to her little. She fell asleep like that, surrounded by warmth and comfort and love.

"Yo, Brett, you've got Zumba in like an hour, you up? Oh god I did not want to see that, I'm leaving now," Gabby exclaimed, covering her eyes and walking quickly out of the room. Sylvie turned over, seeing her boyfriend's bare ass uncovered in the bed. She giggled, and her laughter woke Antonio who covered himself and turned around.

"Huh? What's so funny, babe?" He asked, wrapping an arm around her and pulling her closer.

"Gabby walked in without knocking…she wasn't impressed by what she saw…" Sylvie just managed to get her words out between giggles, setting Antonio off chuckling too.

"I did not plan on my sister seeing my ass, but oh well," he kissed her cheek and settled back down with her, where they lay napping until their needs took over. Sylvie put on some sweatpants and a polo, and Antonio put on his clothes from the night before, leaving his button down off. She started breakfast, and he watched as she cooked and plated everything, setting two plates down on their table.

"Gabby, there's food in the microwave for you," she called, sitting down and eating with him as Gabby emerged from her bedroom, looking them up and down before getting her plate and sitting down.

"This is weird. I'm just putting it out there," she said, eating her own omelette. It was relaxing, and Sylvie felt Antonio's hand on her thigh until his phone buzzed.

"Dawson," he said, answering without checking the caller ID. She watched his face harden, Detective Dawson appearing over her Antonio.

"Thanks Sarge, I'll be there in twenty minutes. I'm only in Wicker Park so won't take too long. Yeah, that's fine. I'll meet Olinsky there." He hung up the phone, put it down on the table and sighed.

"I've gotta go, there was a body found in Bucktown. They're calling in Intelligence because it looks gang related, so I'll see what's happening. He stood to clear the table, but Sylvie took the plate from his hands.

"Let me, go grab your shirt." She wiped off the plates, and by the time she finished he'd gotten dressed, his black leather jacket fitting his body perfectly.

"I'll see you later. Not sure how this'll go, and I've got the kids tomorrow morning, but I'll text you. Love you" With deference to his sister being in the room their kiss was chaste and quick, as he left in a whirlwind with Sylvie's response of "Love you too." ringing in his ears.

Sylvie felt her roommate's eyes staring at her, and she turned to look at the grin on Gabby's face.

"Did you actually say you love each other? Seriously?" She asked, grinning widely at Sylvie's face.

"Yeah, and we do. This just feels really good." Sylvie's cheeks were bright red, and Gabby laughed at her.

"You are ridiculous. You've missed Zumba but it sounds like you had enough of a workout from last night. I've got errands to run, see you later?" Gabby left, leaving Sylvie to her own thoughts. It didn't take long before she decided to go for a run, pounding the pavement around her neighbourhood. She was happy, she was loved, she was happy, she was loved was the mantra flowing through her head with every step she took, doing a loop before getting back to the apartment. Gabby had arrived in, and was sitting on the couch in silence. She grabbed a bottle of water before sitting beside her roommate, looking at Gabby's frown.

"What's wrong?" She asked after a long swallow, turning to face her. Without a word, Gabby slid over a white stick. Sylvie looked at it, stunned.

"I'm pregnant with Matt's baby, and I have no idea how to tell him that I am," she said flatly, keeping the emotion out of her voice.

Sylvie blinked twice, looking at the plus showing the pregnancy. She nodded once and drank some more water before speaking. "You don't have to tell him. It's up to you if you want to go ahead with it. Your secret's safe with me, even from your brother." Gabby's head shot up at the reminder of who Sylvie's boyfriend was.

"I can't make you do that. I don't know if I can have an abortion. I mean, I may not go to Mass that often, but I'm still Catholic and those roots run deep. But I know if I tell Matt, he's going to freak out and want to get back together. Which isn't a bad thing really but I know us and we always screw up our relationship." She took Sylvie's water and drank.

"Gabby, Matt spends basically every second night we're not on shift here. I've made him morning coffee enough to know how he likes it, and to throw an extra scoop of beans in because he wants it to be strong enough for a spoon to stand up in it. I don't think his feelings ever changed. But you need to talk to him, and then you need to decide what to do about your job. Pregnant firefighters can't go into fires, you know this." Gabby's face paled at her best friend's words.

"I'm one shift away from not being the candidate anymore. One shift. I'm going to do the shift, get fully commissioned, then tell Matt. Maybe I can move into the tower while I'm pregnant." The plan set, Sylvie stood and pulled out her glass teapot, spooning in her favourite tea. It didn't take long to steep, and she brought the pot and two mugs over to the coffee table, filling one for Gabby.

"You can't have coffee, so I figured this is the next best thing. But no taking risks next shift, ok? Be careful." They nodded and drank, before Gabby went to her room to get dressed for her shift at Molly's.

Sylvie made it into the house early the next morning to meet her new partner. The calls from HQ about making sure there was a PIC on every ambo shift had been heard, so instead of another floater, they'd assigned someone directly over. Boden introduced her to the shift, and Chili spoke, waving while everyone looked miserable.

It didn't take long for a call to come in, and Sylvie went to hand over the keys, but Chili waved them off.

"Sorry if that was a little frosty back there. They're just honouring their friend. Mills was here for three years, from Candidate to Squad to Ambo. We miss him a lot."

They stood and watched as their team fought the fire, before Severide and Cruz brought out a badly burned woman. Sylvie and Chili got to work, putting burn dressings on the worst affected skin, and Sylvie drilled an IO line in while Chili checked her resps.

"61 to Main, we need a second ambo at our location. Leaving with one female victim, more on scene."

"Main to 61, affirmative. Ambulance 73, report to Wabash and Silverhill"

"She needs more fluids, I'm putting in a line."

"We've got IO access already?" Sylvie asked, watching as the PIC put a jugular line in.

"She's not burnt here, and the more fluids we can get into her now, the better. I'll intubate, then get us to med." Chili grabbed the blade and took the proffered ET tube, intubating successfully.

"Good breath sounds," Sylvie said as she listened to both lungs. They got the victim into the ambo and Sylvie closed the doors, running into the cab and hitting the lights and sirens as they made the journey to med. It didn't take long for them to arrive, and the team took their vic straight from them. Sylvie signed the paperwork as Chili remade the gurney, and they turned to leave.

The trip back to the house didn't take long, and Sylvie was just wrapping up restocking the ambo when Antonio walked in. He wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her close, kissing her head.

"On official business, but I missed you. Breakfast in the morning?" He asked, and she leaned up for a proper kiss.

"I'd expect nothing less, Detective. Go do your job." She waved at Jay who was standing a few yards away, looking slightly uncomfortable at the affection between the two of them. "Hey Halstead, saw your brother earlier," she said, smiling at him.

"He said you brought in a burn vic. Did you notice anything unusual about her?" Jay's eyes were piercing, and Sylvie suddenly had another realisation of just how good her boyfriend's team was.

"Green nail polish, that was it. She was really badly burned, Jay. If Squad hadn't gotten her out when they did, thirty seconds later she'd have been gone." He put his hand on her shoulder, squeezing gently.

"It's not good, Brett. When they admitted her upstairs, they discovered she'd been raped before the fire." Sylvie gasped, leaning back against the ambo to steady herself. "We don't know anything else, but we're just checking out what's happening. We're gonna be busy for the next couple of days with this, in case you're wondering why Antonio isn't getting back to you."

"It's the thing with these jobs, you know what you sign up for but it's still tough," she said, plastering a smile on her face. Antonio came out of the common room, his face set sternly.

"Go, be safe. Text me if you can't do breakfast, I know what this is like for you. Love you," she said squeezing his hand before kissing him goodbye. Chili emerged from the other side of the ambo, staring at her partner.

"Where can I find one of those detectives? Cause he's hot," she laughed, grinning at the blush on Sylvie's cheeks.

"He's my roommate's brother, so things can get a bit awkward on that. But it's good and we're good. I'm pretty sure everyone in his unit is dating someone though."

The bells chimed for another call, and they ran, arriving on scene with a screaming man. They got his foot free, and Chili started splinting it when Sylvie looked around and saw the locked gate.

"Be right back," she said, grabbing her jump bag and broke open the lock, going inside the house. The first thing she saw was a blood trail, and then a woman bent over and barely breathing. She ran, pulling off her gloves and putting fresh ones on to the woman.

"Ma'am, are you having trouble breathing?" She asked, lifting up her shirt to see stab wounds.

"El hombre," she gasped, and Sylvie's panic levels rose.

"Oh damn it. Take a deep breath ok? Chili! Get in here now!" She yelled outside, before grabbing her radio.

"Ambulance 61 to main, we have a second critical victim on scene. Need a second ambo and police back up to our location right now."

"Copy that, 61. There's an ambo on the way, and CPD are one minute out."

"Oh god, what happened?" Chili asked, opening her jump bag and pulling out some latex covers to stop air leaking into the woman's chest.

"That guy robbed and stabbed her. We need to deal with her, backup can take him and deal with CPD." Sylvie covered the stab wounds, rubbing the woman's arm as they lifted her into the stair chair and into the ambo. The other units had arrived, and she smiled at Kim and Roman before pointing them to the original patient, and drove theirs to Chicago Med.

The rest of the shift passed quickly, and folks started warming up to Chili as they took time to get to know her. She impressed Herrmann with her drinks idea, and the delivery of a box of pies from Mills was very welcome for all of them. Sylvie grabbed a slice of strawberry rhubarb and blueberry crumble to bring home with her as the third shift started coming in, and she changed and picked up her duffle. As she finished getting ready, her phone rang, Antonio's name coming up.

"Hey, you ok?" She asked before he could even talk.

"Sylvie, this is a bad one. Go home and stay home, ok? And make sure Gabby does too. You're not totally his type, but you're too close for comfort. He likes medical folks and I can't be worrying about you today while I'm working. Just stay home and I'll come over later." His voice was raw, and Sylvie could hear how close he was to breaking.

"I'll stay safe, I promise. I'll go home with someone, and once I'm in I won't leave or let anybody except you in. Please stay safe and actually eat something that isn't just sugar, ok? Or I'll order takeout for the entire unit and get it delivered, and it'll be healthy food." He huffed a laugh at her words.

"I promise. I'll even try get something green, ok? Let me know when you're home safe. I love you."

"I love you too." She hung up, smiling at her phone. It'd become so easy to say, and every moment of it made her heart sing. She didn't notice when Gabby walked in the locker room and sat beside her.

"Can you delay coming home today? Matt's coming over, I'm gonna tell him everything. I just need us to have some space." Sylvie smiled at her roommate, nodding.

"Yeah, sure. Antonio told me to tell you to not leave the apartment. The guy he's hunting is bad, and he has a type. First responders involved in medical aid. He wants me to go home and lock the door, but I'll go over to Kelly's, I'll be safe there. Text me when I can come home, ok?" Gabby hugged her closely, and they stayed like that for a moment before separating.

Kelly was still on the app floor when she came out, and she jogged over to catch up to him.

"Kelly! I need a favour if you don't mind?" She asked, and he stopped and smiled at her.

"What can I do for my favourite paramedic?" He was in a good mood from the saves on shift, and his mood lightened Sylvie's worries.

"Aw, I bet you say that to all the paramedics. Can I come over with you for a while? Gabby needs the place to herself, and Antonio's worried about the guy he's hunting. Honestly if he had the say so I'd be in protective custody, but he doesn't so I'm not. But I need somewhere I can be safe, y'know?"

"Of course. C'mon, you can sleep on the couch while we crash, and we can get some takeout. Once Casey and Dawson work out whatever the hell is going on between them I'll bring you home." Sylvie looked shocked at his words, but they continued walking to Kelly's car.

"You knew? I've been sworn to secrecy for like three months!" She exclaimed once they were in the car and the doors were closed, Kelly putting his seatbelt on and turning on the ignition.

"Casey got drunk two months ago and blurted the whole thing out. I've known since then. How did you find out?"

"I stayed the night in Antonio's the night before a shift, came home at ridiculous o'clock to get my uniform. Matt walked out of Gabby's room without a shirt on. I made him coffee before he went home." Kelly broke into peals of laughter at that.

"That's what he meant by "she even made me coffee"!" He exclaimed, manoeuvring into the correct lane. "I had no idea. God we could have had so much fun with this," he said, before noticing Sylvie's face was flat. "What's Dawson about to do, Sylvie?"

"I can't tell you. But it's either going to be very good or very bad. I just don't know which yet. But you'll find out when Matt's home." She bit her tongue from saying anything else, and Kelly, to his credit, didn't ask. They arrived in, and Sylvie settled down on the familiar couch to sleep. Just before she napped, she sent a text to Antonio letting him know where she was and that she was safe.

She woke up a couple of hours later, not fully rested but as close as she'd be given the circumstances. There was a photo on her phone from Gabby, and she opened it to see Gabby's engagement ring back on her finger. Sylvie grinned at the photo, responding with love heart emojis. Kelly came out just after she'd sent it, on his cell.

"Man, that's amazing. Yeah, I'd be honoured. When are you planning this? Yeah, cool, I can meet you at city hall in two hours. Brett's here, I'll let her know. We'll see you then."

Sylvie stood, stretching her back and looked at her friend.

"Gabby and Matt are getting married tomorrow. They decided they don't want to live without each other now she's no longer a candidate, and they need witnesses for the marriage license, so they want us to do it and be there with them tomorrow. You up for it?" Sylvie grinned, nodding.

"Of course I am. I'm so not dressed for it though-" she was cut off by her phone ringing, and she answered it immediately.

"Hey Gabby, Kelly just filled me in. Have you told your family yet?"

"Yeah. My parents can't make it up from Florida in time, but Antonio will be there tomorrow. Sylvie, will you be my maid of honour? I know we've so much to talk about about the apartment and moving and where we'll all live, but I want you standing up there with me. Can you do it?"

Sylvie nodded, forgetting they weren't in person. "I would love to do it. I'll meet you at City Hall with Kelly, and we'll witness the license before you and I get back to the apartment for your bachelorette night." Kelly's eyes lit up at the reminder of what he could do, but Sylvie ignored him.

"See you soon," Gabby said, her voice brighter than Sylvie had heard it in a long time.

The duo quickly dressed, getting into Kelly's car to make it to City Hall. The ride was silent for a moment, until Sylvie groaned.

"What's wrong? You not happy for them?" Kelly asked, lowering the radio to speak.

"I'm thrilled for them. But now I have to try find a new housemate, and that's the last thing I want. I'll probably pick someone up from the paramedic pool, I can post a flyer at HQ next time I'm in." They were silent for a moment before Kelly spoke.

"Can I have the room?" Sylvie's head spun round to look at him.

"Dawson and Casey will need their own space, and I don't want to live with newlyweds. You have a spare room, we're friends, we get along. What do you think?" As Sylvie mulled it over in her head, it became clear that it was a good move, so she nodded.

"Works for me. I'll give you all the details, but you pay slightly less rent because I have the ensuite room. Means you pretty much have run of the main bathroom though."

They organised the details, and walked through the doors, following the signs for marriage licenses. Gabby and Matt were already standing there, holding hands and grinning as they did. Gabby wrapped her arms around Sylvie in a hug, and Kelly even gave Matt a one armed hug as a welcome.

The actual getting the license didn't take much time, and with the $60 fee paid, the paperwork was handed over. They separated into their current households from there, Gabby and Sylvie going shopping to find Gabby something to wear to the wedding.

It didn't take long, but they found her a white shift dress, casual enough to suit Gabby but just formal enough to be a wedding dress. Gabby's only request of Sylvie was she didn't wear blue, so Sylvie found a pale pink cocktail dress for herself. Once the purchases were made, they went home via their favourite Thai place as a last hurrah before the wedding.

The next morning their apartment was a hive of activity. Gabby's morning sickness had started in earnest, and in between Sylvie curling pieces of her hair she was strung over the toilet. Some ginger ale and crackers helped, and by noon she was able to be fully dressed, Sylvie finishing off her makeup before doing her own.

The two women drove to City Hall, where they stayed downstairs until Kelly texted it was time. Sylvie brought her best friend into the room, and stood beside her and Antonio as they watched their friends say their vows and be married. The love between them was palpable, and the mood was joyous.

There was a dinner for the five of them at a steakhouse, and they were almost finished when Antonio's cell went off. He answered, his face blank as he listened, before saying he was on his way and ending the call.

"I've gotta run, Nadia's missing. Stay home and stay safe, and I'll see you soon. Casey, if you hurt my sister I'm going to hurt you, I mean it." With that he ran, pulling his badge from his pocket and putting it around his neck.

The mood was over with it, and they separated shortly after. Kelly was staying with Sylvie for the night, but he'd agreed to grab his belongings the following day to give the newlyweds some time to themselves. They were in his car driving back when he turned and looked at Sylvie.

"Gabby asked me to get her into the open position in OFI. And she didn't have champagne at her wedding dinner. Sylvie, is she pregnant?" Sylvie's mouth dropped open at his investigative skills, before nodding once.

"I told her I wouldn't say anything to anyone," she nodded as she spoke, watching Kelly catch on.

"You said nothing. Let's head home."
