Seeing Black Stone Alpha entering her quarters, handcuffed in the back, was the last thing Governor Kalahan imagined to witness this day. The lady was writing a letter on a parchment with a quill when one of her guards came to her, to announce the presence of the section leader with five prisoners. The section leader was requesting an audience with her. The governor accepted the request. The section leader walked towards her desk, followed by the members of the team. Other soldiers were aiming their weapon at the prisoners. Kalahan blinked in astonishment when she realized who the five captives were, and peered at the Earthians in a strange way since that moment. The section leader explained the context of the arrest and waited for the lady's orders, a couple of steps from her desk. A weird silence followed, Kalahan still confused by the situation.

The governor put her quill in its case, still looking at Black Stone Alpha and still confused. She finally said, "I don't know whether you're insane or you want to commit suicide."

Maryanne introduced the awkward situation to the woman dressed in a white and brown ensemble, "I know the situation is quite unusual, and believe me, it's not something we would have done if we didn't have to. We really need to talk to you."

Maryanne glimpsed the section leader, preparing the next part of her speech. She didn't want to tell too much in front of him and the other soldiers. She said, "About something someone is planning to do, and you might have heard of it."

"What makes you think I'm gonna tell you what I might have heard of?"

"Why not? Instead of going to where you're planning to go in a few days."

Kalahan was taken aback by Carter's last phrase. How the hell could the lady from Earth know she was going somewhere soon? Intel? No. It couldn't be possible. Kalahan had not told anyone yet. Coincidence? Maybe. However, Kalahan didn't believe in that. The section leader and the other soldiers looked a bit lost. They wouldn't get any more detail for Kalahan ordered them to free Alpha from the handcuffs and leave the spacious room.

The governor stood up and approached her unexpected guests once the soldiers got out of her quarters.

Sakai said, "You must not attend that summit."

Kalahan saw Carter nod.

"How do you know, Doctor Sakai? I haven't told anyone."

"How we know doesn't matter. What matters is that you must not attend this event."

"Why?"

"Uh... It's complicated."

Carter took over, "Governor Kalahan, we know you're planning to tell us that an attack against Earth is in preparation. If you go to that summit, very bad things will happen to you and in our galaxies. I'm sure that's not what you want, otherwise you wouldn't be standing here listening to us."

Kalahan remained silent, thinking about the captain's speech. Carter stared at her. Her teammates were either glancing at each other, unsure if they would make it out alive, or peeking at Kalahan.

The lady went back to her desk and tapped her left hand on the table, still thinking. After a moment, she opened a drawer and took a rolled parchment.

She came back to the team and handed it to Carter, while acknowledging, "You're right, Captain Carter. Bad things are gonna happen in the universe if we don't do anything."
