I just felt like doing a word prompt and see where it goes. Nothing too serious.

Apple's mother always told her that, as along as certain things fall into place, her life will always be complete. That the only thing that would make her life complete is having her story play out exactly as it intended.

She had the looks down for the most part, though she admittedly didn't care too much about that. She had the skin as white as snow, the ruby red lips, but the fact she didn't have the black hair was something that would bother her. However, sometimes a Snow White deviated. Genetics can be fickle like that sometimes.

(Dying it when she was younger caused too much of a ruckus. She didn't want to do it, even if her mother insisted.)

The dwarves were also a given. Sure, Apple felt uncomfortable when she had to practice saying their role names than their actual ones, but they usually understood. She did make sure to say their real names in private when mother wasn't looking, so she believed that things evened out eventually.

(It always felt weird calling Lawrence "Sneezy." He had some allergies, sure, but that sometimes felt a little bit mean.)

Apple technically had the prince. It was more like Daring was ready to go for when the story started, though he didn't seem to care when. He always got flighty about it if they talked alone, but always talked big game when in front of anyone else. She didn't mind it, though. The future was scary sometimes.

(The constant womanizing was a little disheartening. Just because they weren't going to be together until after the story didn't mean he had to act like it was going to be the end of his life.)

Then there was Raven, who honestly seemed perfect for the role. She had the aesthetics down pat, there was definitely some underlying evil in her that did come out when she was angry. Not to mention the power she had.

But then Legacy Day happened…

(But then she broke it.)

…It didn't matter. Her story would be complete. All she had to do was convince Raven to sign the Book of Legends. Then she, and all of her friends, would get their own happy endings.

(Now if only she could find the pieces…)
