After the incident at the USJ, the school declared that they'd be given a day away from school to relax and recuperate from the trauma they'd been forced through, of course, the trauma happening right now isn't even comparably to all the shit that'll happen to them eventually but the school doesn't know that just yet
Still Raven appreciated it, the USJ incident had taught him a lot of shit and made him realise a lot of stuff that he didn't have time to process, they were being attacked after all
So the fact that they'd been given a day off allowed Raven the time needed to come to terms with his revelations
Kyoka Suigetsu… He'd eventually wet that blade in someone's blood, whether that be now in this world or the next or one hundred worlds after that, eventually he'd take someone's life and he'd have to come to terms with it sooner rather than later if he didn't want to have a panic attack
God he wishes he was reborn in a more dark world first, having his first life in DC would've been amazing, he could've trained under Batman and while the guy doesn't kill people the amount of shit he'd see would definitely loosen his morals

Actually, it would be so much easier for him to find All For One and then disguise himself as Shigaraki. By this point, All For One had probably started transferring AFO into the boy so really all he'd have to do is kill him and become the next Symbol of Evil

Speaking of the system, he still had a few things to check out, he'd spent most of his off day just relaxing after all. Honestly, he hadn't gotten out of bed until noon and even then he'd 9nly left the confines of his mattress to go to the toilet and to grab food

The skill is actually a pretty useful one since people will trust him easier, of course, the whole hin failing thing can be detrimental but being able to gain people's trust is a good thing, especially since he won't have to worry about suddenly becoming friends with people in other worlds
If they know they can trust him with just a glance then getting them to be his friend just comes naturally.
"Tell me about the Gacha Tokens." He waited for Ayla to comment
"A system implemented by the Creator on the request of yourself that allows you to be given random items, abilities, skills, etc-"
"No, I know that" He sighed "How do I use them."

The Shrouded Armour in Skyrim belonged to members of the Dark Brotherhood and gave them a 50% Increase In Poison Resistance, not only that but the thing looks fucking badass! It's probably his favourite armour set in the game with its only contender being the Nightingale Armour, the Ebony Armour and The Nordic Carved Armour
Now how does he explain that he wants to swap out his perfectly good Hoodie and t-shirt for this badass Armour…
Tsk, he'll just tell Powerloader that his Grandfather sent him it from abroad

Somebody pointed out that fact to the Class President who quickly sat down, an embarrassed look on his face as he did, it was just a moment after the teen sat down did their homeroom teacher emerge through the door, face and arms completely wrapped with bandages that had Raven and most of the class wincing
"Good Morning" The Man greeted, his casual greeting muffled slightly by his bandages
The class exploded, questions flying left and right asking if the man before then was truly okay or if he should still be teaching, despite this the man simply walked up to the podium in the centre of the room before addressing them
"Don't concern yourselves over me, After all, the battle hasn't really ended for you all just yet" The man's voice was severe and the tension of the class started raining, worry and fear bubbling through them all with a couple of exceptions
The class mumbled amongst themselves, questioning each other over what the man meant by 'The Battle'
He ignored Mineta's shout if 'MORE VILLAINS?!' With practised ease
"U.A.'s sports festival is quickly approaching boys and girls." The Class froze at the man's sentence before a loud cry erupted through the room-
"THE SPORTS FESTIVAL?!"
"I keep forgetting this is a normal school" Poor Kaminari, eh, too bad for him.
"Wait a second" Jiro interrupted Kirishima's joyous yell "Is it such a good idea to hold the sports festival so soon after the Villains snook inside"
"They could attack while we're all in the same place." Ojiro continued, turning to their teacher to question him
"Apparently the administration think this is a good way to show the threat has been handled and that the school is as safe as ever, plus they're beefing up security compared to past years." Their teacher assured them in his monotone voice "This event is a huge opportunity for all Students in UA, it's not an event we can just cancel because of a few Villains."
"Uh, I'm sorry why not? It's just a sports festival." Mineta cried out, panicked
Raven tuned out Midoriya's exposition. The past him had frequently watched the UA Sports Festivals, while his family never attended UA Aizawa was correct in comparing it to the Olympics, well kinda.
It was only really viewed that way in Japan and some of Asia, U.A. is a top hero school… but each Continent has one just as strong and just as hard to get into as UA and each of them put on Sports Festivals just like it
Honestly, it would be easier to compare it to the Euro's, a footballing (Soccer for all you Americans) event which is limited to only European countries, except the event is Football and it's for each Continent and not just Europe
"That's right, and Top Heroes everywhere will be watching, this is where you get scouted" Yaoyorozu's voice broke him from his thoughts
"Yeah, unless you're dead." He, like the rest of the class, ignored Mineta's murmur
"She's right, after graduating a lotta people join Pro agencies as a sidekick!." Kaminari explained grin on his face that was quickly broken by Jiro
"Yeah but that's as far as some people go, they miss their chance to go Independent and stay eternal sidekicks." She turned to look at the man's whose spirit she was going to crush "Actually, that's where you're headed, you're kinda dumb."
"It's true that joining a famous hero agency, can garner you greater experience and popularity, that's that's the festival matters." Aizawa spoke up, ignoring the broken Kaminari just a few feet in front of him "If you want to go Pro one day then this event can open a path for you. One chance a Year, Three Chances in a Lifetime, No aspiring hero can afford to miss this festival."
"That means you better not slack off in your training."
"YES SIR!"
"Class Dismissed."
With that Aizawa left the classroom, and their first teacher of the day quickly entered. Midnight's skin-tight costume easily stealing the classes attention as she began teaching them about Modern Art

"So what's got you in such a good mood Raven?" After finishing their discussions about the Sports Festival, Raven, Kirishima, Kaminari, Ashido, Jiro and Yaoyorozu slowly made their way through the building towards the Cafeteria
Normally it would just be him, Kirishima and Kaminari at lunch but Ashido decided to tag along and dragged Yaoyorozu and Jiro along with her
"Hm, My Grandfather sent me some stuff from England." He replied, a small smile on his face as his mind went back to the two - because he refuses to acknowledge a fucking Rusty Spoon! - Gacha pulls he had gotten the day before
"Ooooh, anything cool?" Ashido asked, eyes lighting up
"Yes actually" He smiled at the Pink girl "A Leather Cuirass to replace my t-shirt, that's been padded to withstand most sword blows."
He paused, should he tell them about the Senzu Bean? Probably not hut if he uses it to save All Might and Tensei then people will find out sooner rather than later
Maybe he should bring it up with Nezu? Just explain that it was something one of his Grandfather's friends created or something, the only problem then is the Old Man not catching on to his bluff…
Eh, he'll keep it a secret for now and swear All Might to secrecy or something

"So is that gonna replace the t-shirt you use?" Kaminari seemed kinda down at his news and he couldn't understand why, only him, Kaminari and Jiro wore regular clothing with light amounts of support items so to hear someone who wore casual clothing like them suddenly switch must've been pretty sad
"Yeah, it's more practical plus it looks cool, luckily I won't need to change the rest of my costume to fit though my Jacket has basically become useless." He pursed his lips before tilting his head "I'll ask Powerloader if I can keep it as regular wear, it's a perfectly good jacket plus, it'll be nice to keep as a moment of my very first hero costume."
Kaminari sighed at his words, clearly upset about it but easily let it go after that
"Y'know, You all know why I want to be a hero but what about y'all? I mean, I know Yaoyorozu belongs to a Hero Family like Todoroki, Iida and myself but what about the rest of you?" He asked despite knowing the answer to some of them
"Huh? What's brought this up Kin- I mean, Raven?" He chuckled at the slip-up but answered the question anyways
"I heard Midoriya and Iida asking Uraraka about it before so I guess it just made me curious, I mean, everyone has their own reasons for becoming a Hero so I figured I'd ask." He did genuinely want to know despite not actually overhearing Iida and Midoriya's conversation
Sure he already knows that Ashido is becoming a Herk because people thoughts she'd be good at it and that Kirishima basically became a hero because of Mina, sure he wanted to beforehand but Mina gave him that push
Kaminari just wanted to be a Hero because It's a cool job, after all, what's more, exciting than the action-packed life of a hero
He chuckled at the thought even as the group settled down and started talking about their goals as Heroes
He was gonna miss this when he changes worlds, eh, he'll be back here eventually

The rest of the day passed by quickly and quietly, the classes going past as if nothing had happened and that life was as boring as ever. The only interesting class was their Hero Development class which had Aizawa telling them more about the Festival. They have two weeks of preparation time, two weeks where they'll be allowed to use the school's facilities to prepare, whether that be using the gym or trying to find someone to spar with
Typically that meant that second years since this would be the first Festival with actual experience under their belt, except the second years only really started proper training at the end of last year because Aizawa 'expelled' them all
Really he just moved them to General Education but who cares for that
Anyways as Aizawa shut their door for the final time of the day Raven allowed himself to sigh, he could already hear the rumbling of the corridors as dozens of feet swarmed to their door.
In Canon, it didn't really make sense why everyone swarmed their door apart from wanting to see the class Who fought actual Villains but now that he's actually here, actually in Canon it makes sense
Class A - not 1-A but all Class A's in UA so 1-A, 2-A and 3-A - are synonymous with being the best or most noteworthy students, of course out of context this sounds really bad but when you get context it makes more sense
Class A is usually filled with people with personality issues or hard to control quirks while Class B are typically students more level headed and need less Quirk Management
And it makes sense when you look at it from that perspective, basically, all of Class 1-B have great control over their quirks and, except for Monoma they're all pretty normal, calm people
On the other hand, 1-A have more explosive quirks and personalities, the only really calm and in control person in the class is Asui and she's most likely in 1-A to get better training and help her fellow classmates
It also shows why their Homeroom teachers are who they are, Aizawa has an easy time controlling 1-A not just because of his Quirk but because of his personality, 1-B's Homeroom teacher - Vlad King - has a much more intricate quirk that allows him a much more detailed knowledge of control and level-headedness
Sure they could teach each other's classes but the way it's set up is considered to be the optimal version
Anyways, because Class A has more sheer power they're usually considered to be the stronger class even though more Pro's come from Class B.
Best Jeanist was a Class B student because of how much control he needs for his quirk, Mirio is a Class 3-B student and he's considered the strongest student in the school
Meanwhile, Endeavour and All Might were Class A students due to the sheer power of their quirks, similarly, Tamaki and Nejire are Class 3-A, their quirks require finess but are much more power-based than Mirio's
Basically, Class A is considered stronger but Class B is considered to be more refined
Not that any of these kids know that, it's not really until Third Year or even afterwards that people catch on to why the classes are split how they are which is why people are crowding their doorstep
Add on the fact that they fought Villains just a couple of days ago and people want to compare themselves to the 'All Mighty Class 1-A' or whatever
Raven chuckled at the thought, watching Iida, Midoriya and Uraraka approach the door.
He knows Shinso is hiding out there somewhere and by God does he want to teach the kid a lesson, seriously now that he was actually in the world Shinso's words just piss him off
Especially since his Illusions were just as ineffective against the robots-
"Woah… what the Heck?" He stood from his chair, moving towards the door like the rest of their remaining classmates
"They're crowding the exit!" No fucking Shit Mineta, could you have been more fucking obvious "What are they here for?"
"They're scouting the enemy dumbass. They want to see the class who came through the Villain Attack, it makes sense they want to scout out the competition." Bakugo pushed past Mineta, scowling as he made his way through the door, intent to push through the crowd of students
"It's true that we wanted to come take a look, but you sure are modest… are all Students in the Hero Course like this." Ahh there he is, the lanky, purple bastard
Raven scowled at the sight of him, the old version of this worlds Raven was disgusted, the kid who stood opposite the door was the antithesis of a Hero, no muscle definition on his body, arrogance pouring from his body, he didn't even look good enough to be a UA student let alone a Hero Course wannabe
The version of Raven with his previous lifes memories was even more annoyed at Shinso, the kid before him, the skinny, lanky kid who complained about the unfairness of the world… and he didn't even look like he tried, if anything it looks like he'd just decided to be a hero also minute and shown up at the exam
He didn't even look like he tried to train
He looked like… well he looked like Midoriya would've, he spent so much time training his Quirk and complaining, that he didn't even bother trying to train his body, if he had then his Quirk wouldn't have mattered and he'd have been accepted just like him
"Gotta say I'm a little disappointed if that's what you have to offer. Those of us who didn't make it into the Hero Course are left stuck in the General Education Department and other tracks… there are quite a few of us." Shinso continued and honestly?
The words just made Raven scowled more
How dare this kid, this fucker just pawn off all the work they had done, pawn off all the work of others just to make himself feel better, how many kids didn't want to be Heroes, who came to UA because they wanted to be productive members of society, who came to be Lawyers or Doctor are relieved the best of the best education?
And now they're all just Hero Course wannabes because of a few pretentious dickheads?
"Did you know that depending on the results of the Sports Festival they might consider transferring us to the Hero Course? I'd guess the opposite may be true for you to… Checking out the Competition you say? For me, this will be the perfect opportunity to knock you off your pedestals. Consider this a Declaration of War."
Raven scowled but didn't speak, knowing he'd be interrupted-
"HEY I'M FROM CLASS 1-B NEXT DOOR! WANTED TO SEE WHAT THE GUYS THAT FOUGHT VILLAINS ACTUALLY LOOKED LIKE BUT ALL I'M SEEING IS THIS ARROGANT BASTARD. YOU BETTER NOT MAKE A FOOL OUTTA THE HERO COURSE AT THIS THING." Silence defended after Tetsutetsu's interruption and with the silence Raven pushed forward, scowl still in place
"As far as I can see the only arrogant people here are you." He sneered, turning to Shinso with a glare "Your Declaration of War is laughable, it's Childish. So you didn't get into the Hero Course, whose fault is that?"
"The exam was rigged-"
"The Exam" Raven Continued "Was made to test you on how Heroic you are, I'm assuming your Quirk isn't combat orientated or maybe it didn't work on the robots, my question is. So what? Did you even try after finding out you'd fight robots? Actually, I'll give you the inside scoop, my quirk allows me to make illusions, I came Tenth in the Exam because I fought the robots with my fists, I had to be taken to Recovery Girl because I offset my bones and split my muscles, cutting my hand apart to fight them for a place here. So my question is if you tried because clearly, you didn't."
He turned to where Tetsutetsu stood, sighing in annoyance
"Class 1-B is pathetic." He talked over the boy when he opened his mouth "Clearly you don't understand why the classes are split how they are and until you understand that you'll never stand a chance against us, during the festival I want you to take a look at our quirks and our personalities after that maybe you'll understand why we're in different classes."
He turned to the rest of the crowd
"Now can you all piss off, you're annoying me and my class. Maybe when your class get Assaulted by Villains we'll come and visit to rub it in your faces." He walked forwards, barging through the crowd with a sneer
He wanted to say more, go on about how fucking pathetic they are for bothering them days after they were Assaulted but he couldn't be bothered, the energy to tear into them left him after his rant to Shinso but during the festival itself
He cracked his neck
He'd show them the difference between them during the festival

I'll be honest, Shinso as a character pisses me off. He was clearly made to be like Aizawa in the fact he wasn't able to pass the Practical Exam and has to transfer in but he's just so annoying, that entire Declaration of War was annoying and I hope K got across just why it pissed off Raven so much
Raven - the version that died - didn't do any training but he has all the memories MHA!Raven has, he can vividly remember the past 14 years where he spent basically everyday training, every day was spent improving his Quirk and body and then some skinny kid with no experience comes up and starts calling them arrogant and declaring War despite never having trained?
It just pissed him off
Most of early My Hero pisses me - and Raven - off. Iida is a bitch the entire first two seasons, Todoroki only gets better after the Sports Festival, Bakugo only gets better after All Might's final fight. Honestly, the only 'Main' character I tolerated was Uraraka, Izuku also annoyed me because he went on and on about being a Hero but never applied himself to being one
Anyways, Sports Festival is about to begin so that'll be next chapter. I've also spent too much time thinking about making a second Adventure Foundation Story just with an evil protagonist
Raven had his whole Morality debate at the beginning of the chapter but he'll most likely stay as the good guy if not be a neutral character
If I had to put him on the Morality Alignment Chart then I'd say either Neutral Good or Chaotic Neutral
The idea of him having an Antithesis, someone Neutral Evil who just causes chaos and carnage for the fun and reaps the rewards of it
I don't know, I probably won't do it and if I do it won't be for a whiiiiiile but it's just a thought aha

Okay last AN I promise!
I got a lot of really nice reviews last chapter and I just want to let y'all know I appreciate it, apparently, y'all actually liked how I handled last chapter despite me not liking it that much so I'll probably just leave it as is aha
Apparently, someone came here after searching for Gamer fics, honestly, when the email came up that's all I saw and my heart dropped thinking I was about to get hate for this not being a Gamer fic or that it was misleading or something but honestly the review was really nice! I'm glad you liked it aha, this would've been a Gamer Fanfictions but honestly, those things give me aneurysms, I just can't deal with the numbers
Don't get me wrong I love reading Gamer Fanfictions but writing them? Yeah no, not for me. This is the closest to a Gamer fanfiction you'll get from me aha
