Outside The great hall was a wave of chatter lit by a multitude of little white orbs floating in the air.Girls dresses and jewelry glinted in the light talking to one another,Hermione pulled her head back behind the wall taking a deep breath trying to calm her nerves "Hermione?" Tilly asked, concerned looking at the girl walking down a set of stairs holding her dress up"Tilly!What are you doing !" Hermione gasped as Tilly got closer to her, setting her gloved hands on her hips raising a brow at Hermione "wondering why your fine ass is doing up here when you should be down there with Krum?" Hermione bit her lip looking to the stairwell that led to the party. "I'm a bit frightened." "It's ok to be scared but tonight is a historic night ,change is in the air can't you feel it." Tilly said looking at the stairwell the two stood in silence letting the distant sound and atmosphere wash over them it felt like electricity running through their body's.
Hermione took Tillys hand "It just takes one step for change to happen with a little help sometimes ," Tilly walked with Hermione to the edge of the shadow before they stopped the sound of chatter getting louder.Tilly gently put her hand under Hermione's chin pushing it up"But you have to be able to continue on your own with confidence in what your doing." A quick squeeze of hands Tilly whispered "they would be crazy to not think your beautiful." "Thank you." Hermione let go of Tillys hand walking out into the light standing there taking in the view looking to Tilly with a smirk before walking down the stairs leaving Tilly alone in the shadows.
Fred and George were talking with their dates waiting for the door to open to the great hall. Fred was hardly paying attention to what Angelina was saying but she touched his shoulder quickly mumbling "I'll be right back Fred." walked over to a group of angry looking girls."Your date left you already ,the dance hasn't even started yet!" George laughed but stopped when Alicia placed a hand on his shoulder looking concerned at the angry group of girls that were staring at her "I should see what's going on." Fred waved her goodbye giving George a wide grin.
Fred and George shoved one another until the playful shoving had turned into Fred in a headlock. Fred was about to kick Georges leg but stopped looking at the top of the stairs in shock.An angle stood at top of the stairs with a smile shaking her head at them,she wore a light green dress that was beautiful contrast against her golden ivory skin swaying with each step she took the bodice was laced and jeweled showing the curve of her waist and the see through puffy long sleeves hung off her shoulders.Fred pushed George off of him easily from being as taken back as he was and went to the end of the stairs holding out a hand to Tilly"Madame." Fred said with a bow looking up at Tilly with a grin.Tillys gloved hand rested into Fred's "thank you good sir." Tilly chuckled her round red lips forming a smile at his joke"thank you for the gift you didn't have to." She whispered to Fred who just smiled back at her "But I did it would have been a shame if it stayed in that window and not being worn by a beautiful girl." Fred whispered back,Tillys face burning from the compliment"but don't tell George he doesn't know about it.".Tilly laughed covering her mouth.
"You boys clean up real nice,if y'all stop horsing around tonight you might just stay nice looking for your dates ." Tilly snickered looking at them "Fred honey come here for a moment,George messed up your hair." Tilly stood on her tiptoes placing a hand on Freds shoulder the other messing with his hair.Fred instinctively put a hand on her waist to help her keep her balance without hesitation, her face so close to his even this close up he couldn't find any imperfections unlike his freckled covered face hers was clear of any imperfections ,the worrying thoughts from this morning melting away."there we go." Tilly nodded in satisfaction at her work " am I presentable now?" Fred mumbled he could smell her citrus sandalwood perfume"it'll do , just show them that mischievous smile and you'll survive." Tilly replied, smiling up at him. Fred barely had time to realize that his hand was still on her waist before a flash of light hit them.
"Smile you guys!" Tannis lowered the camera looking excited, Fred quickly removed his hand."You look so pretty,your mom picked that dress!" "couldn't you tell with how extravagant it is." Tilly rolled her eyes jokingly before laughing "who did you mug to afford this!" Ollie exclaimed from behind Tilly pointing to the hair ornament in her bun "do you have a secret sugar daddy we don't know about ,is he looking for men by chance?" Jensen whispered Tilly Face Turning red as a Tomato as Fred looked confused.
"Hello Gubby ." Angelina asked, smiling putting her arm through Fred's "Angelia, aren't you as pretty as a picture!" Tilly exclaimed looking at her dress "Champions please line up here!" Mcgonagle exclaims the champions and their dates make their way to line up in front of the big doors."I better get going,have a good time you two." Tilly waved, leaving with her Friends and their dates,and Fred watched her disappear in the crowd, the glittering jewel in her hair slowly disappearing as they all waited to enter the hall.

The Great hall was beautiful covered in snow and lights surrounding the huge Christmas tree in front of the giant windows. Classical music Filled the hall "miss.Guhubble." Tilly turned around unexpectedly looking at the platinum blond boy wearing a very expensive looking suit. "Hello Malfoy,lovely isn't!you look nice." Tilly smiled looking at the students in the middle of the dance floor dancing"thank you,it's also a pleasure to see you showing your status to some extent." Draco mumbled facing the dancing students looking at Tilly from the sides of his eyes.Tilly shook her head. Draco has always been like this ever since they met as kids "Still have that stick up your ass I see." Tilly replied chuckling Draco had a small smirk on his face that no one would notice unless you knew the boy "indeed,I just wanted to return this rag to you,"Draco held out a neatly folded gray cloth out to her "I had it washed,full of crumbs,it was disgusting really."Draco infurabbly stated looking to the side placing it in Tillys hands as he sauntered off into the crowd.Tilly shoved the rag into her pocket but heard a crackling sound pulling out the cloth again she unfolded the top to see a small piece of paper with neatly curled letters "thank you." Shaking her head Tilly placed it back into her pocket "Tilly, Tilly will you dance with me!" "I was going to dance with her!" Tim and Billy exclaimed shoving one another "Hey I'll dance with both of you cretins." The dance was nothing less than what you would expect from first years.
In the middle of Billy's "dance" stepping on Tillys dress again for the eighth time someone tapped on his shoulder "may I cut in?" Billy nodded letting Nevill cut in ,Tilly waving goodbye before Nevill bowed and Tilly smiling curtsied taking Nevill's hand "Ginny and I couldn't stand watching your dress get stepped on again." He smiled as they danced to the music "where is Ginny I haven't seen her all night." Tilly asked, looking around for flaming red hair Nevill moved his head to the side and spun them so Tilly could see Ginny waving in the crowd at them pointing at Tillys dress mouthing "Beautiful." Tilly smiling mouthed back "Thank you." Then looked at Nevill in a shocked look Ginny laughing from their silent conversation while Nevill was spaced out.The Dance ended and Tilly was once again alone and walking around seeing Harry and Ron sitting down with their arms folded with a annoyed look on there face "what are you two moping about here?" Tilly asked sitting in a empty chair
Next to Ron "where not moping,we-were taking a break." Ron muttered blowing hair out of his face staring daggers at someone,Tilly followed his gaze and saw Krum and a very happy looking Hermione dancing.
"Oh ok then where's your date, bait?" Tilly asked looking for the patil Twins knowing Ron would get embarrassed by the nickname and she could already feel his angry stare at her "Where's your date,Tilly?" Ron said annoyed looking proud of his comeback "I dont have one but if I did I wouldn't have lost them in the first two hours of the dance...to another man." Tilly replied watching one of the Patil twins passing them dancing with a boy from Durmstrang.Harry and Ron looked annoyed and a bit confused not knowing who's date it was making Tilly chuckle"chocolate?" Fred asked, coming out of nowhere making Tilly Jump.Tilly looked at the chocolate in the mischievous boy's hand and back at him with a raised eyebrow "I'm not falling for that,Nevill was coughing up feathers for hours." Fred laughed putting the chocolate back in his pocket looking at his brother and his friend "where's your dates?" "Don't ask!" They exclaimed the music stopped for a break, the dancers in the center mixed with the people on the side"wheres your date,Fred?" Harry asked, smirking at the older boy .
Fred laughed, replying "that my friend is one of the wonders of women and one that I do not know."Tilly rolled her eyes, crossing her arms "You should go find her." Fred sighed looking at Tilly running a hand through his hair"yeah and probably George too he took a hand full of those canary chocolates saying something about flying?" Tilly, looking concerned, stood up from her chair . "I'll help you find that idiot before he does something." Behind Tilly Ron and Harry Hit Freds shoulders pointing at her "Hey uh ,Tilly how about after we find them are you available for the next dance ?" Fred stuttered rubbing his neck.
Tilly turned smiling "sure if it's ok with Angelina ." Tilly left looking through the crowd for a red head hopefully feather less.She walked around the whole great hall ending at the food and drink table and didn't see George anywhere the music starting up again "where could he be?" Tilly thought, picking up a glass of champagne and taking a sip as she walked, still trying to find George "Tilly,can I speak to you please?" Ambrosia asked from behind her Tilly quickly turned around placing a hand in her pocket where her wand was"why should I ?" Replied looking around for her crony's but It was just Ambrosia who saw Tilly looked closer at her face seemed sad but there was something else there in her eyes"Because I want to apologize." Ambrosia mumbled looking down at her feet,Tilly was taken back shocked to the point she had to put a hand on the table to stop herself from falling "ok."She said in a daze.
"Tilly,I don't know what happened in the first year but we separated and I was wrong to treat you like that especially when we were such great friends and this year I treated you wrongly as well and I wanted to give you this as a declaration of this point of my realization and change ." Ambrosia pulled a blue frosted cupcake with white sprinkles from behind her back holding it out to Tilly. In the other hand she had a white one with black sprinkles.
Tilly smiled "I knew she was good at heart." She thought, looking at Ambrosia anxiously looking at Tilly biting her lip.Tilly took the blue cupcake from Ambrosia's hand "I'm glad you're willing to change,many aren't." Ambrosia smiled, nodding her head unwrapping her cupcake and Tilly copying her and taking a bite,Ambrosias smile turned malicious.
Tilly swallowed her bite and felt a daze come over her dropping the cupcake on the ground a familiar feeling coming over her "I was going too easy on you,Angelina didn't want any part of this but its her fault for not putting you in your place mudblood and now she'll be punished as well." Tilly covered her face, her mind going blank falling to the ground groaning."Tilly where are you!Tilly!" Fred exclaimed running to Tilly Angelina close behind him.Ambrosia ran away into the crowd"I won't let her get away!" Angelina exclaimed chasing Ambrosia.Fred sat on the ground across from Tilly shaking her shoulders "Tilly are you ok, what did she do to you!" Fred said getting up and helping Tilly up who immediately wrapped her arms around his waist snuggling her head into his chest.Fred walked out of the great hall and down the empty halls Tilly still hanging on him whispering things that were to say the least very not Tilly and grabbing his ass.They walked past the stairs to the gryffindor common room Tilly stopped pouting at him"where are you going your dorm is up there?" They walked to the great oak door of the medical wing opening the doors. Fred looked around and didn't see madam Pomfrey "Perfect no one here!" Tilly exclaimed, clapping her hands.Fred carefully set her on the bed closest to them Tilly wrapped her hand around his shoulders kissing his neck "woah tiger,stay right here i'll be right back." Fred squirmed, pushing her back softly "whatever you want, i'll do." Tilly replied in a dreamy voice.
Fred back away from Tilly on the bed watching her wave goodbye as she leaned against the headboard making kissy faces at him.Fred quickly ran to the door that lead to Pomfrey room and banged on the door until She swung the door open urgently "please you have to help Tilly,she's under a love potion!" Fred exclaimed holding out the bitten blue cupcake Pomfrey pushed past Fred into her work area and into another room the sound of clinking and clanking of bottles until she came running out with an orange potion, the antidote.
They both rushed out to the bed to find Tilly laying there with her hair down ,gloves off and a bare leg swaying from the slit in her dress mumbling "Fred,Fred ,fred." Under her breath perking up hearing footsteps smiling before seeing Pomfrey and getting mad "who are you,Freds mine ,FIGHT ME!" Tilly tried to get up but Fred placed his hands on her shoulders pushing her back onto the bed"Miss Guhubble you need to take this." Pomfrey stated holding out the bottle of Orange liquid Tilly turned her head away "I don't take things from my enemies." Fred took the potion and held it out to her "I want you to drink this for me." Fred stressed Tilly looked back at Fred giving Pomfrey an evil look. "You won't talk to her anymore,you'll be just mine?" "Yes,if you drink this." Tilly didn't even think about it. She quickly kissed Freds cheek ,took the potion and drank it without hesitation.
When Fred and George took the antidote it was like waking up from a dream with a slight headache sometimes not even remembering what happened but Tilly had tears running down her face her mascara dripping off her face as she blinked her eyes tightly closing them,slapping a shaking hand across her mouth"F-fred?" She whispered Fred lays his hand on top of hers on the bed,Pomfrey leaving to grab something .
She looked at him scared, her tears flowing down her face "is he here?" She mumbled before she moaned holding tightly onto Freds hands and mumbled something "what did you say dear?" Fred whispered, placing a hand on her face wiping the black streaks from her face. "Is he here?"Tilly whispered looking around frantically, her chest heaving up and down "It's just you,me,and Promfrey,dear no one else."Fred patted her hand.
She shakes her head, mouthing something before whispering "I didn't want to but I couldn't move my body." Fred looked at Tilly with concern and fear. "It's ok Tilly it wasn't your fault,You believe she was better then she was." Fred consoling stated his eyebrows creasing just thinking of that bitch"he wouldn't leave me alone ." Tilly muttered hot tears running down her face Fred raised a hand to wipe them stopping midway" I said stop," Tilly stared forward in anger and fear like she was looking at someone in the empty space her hands tightly grasping the bedding in a white knuckle grip frantically turning to Fred "you did though, you stopped,you even helped me." She looked at Fred's hand so close to her face frozen.Fred was hoping Tilly wasn't talking about what he was thinking of it was too horrible to think of.
Tilly throws her arms around Fred holding Tightly onto him hanging half off the bed "You did why couldn't Carter!" She yelled her body shaking,holding onto Freds black coat.Fred moves onto the bed sitting against the headboard wrapping his arms around her rubbing a small circle on top her head whispering "its ok" and"I've got you.".Freds emotions were everywhere he was mad,sad,outraged ! Merlin, he wanted to find Carter and kill him where he stood,Fred rubbed her back the sleeve of her dress moving slightly showing pink old scars that looked like scratch marks deep into her shoulder blades along with other in the same place.
Tilly moaning into his chest now damp from her crying" I tried to get away the first time I really did,You have to believe me!I'm not a whore!" The pices coming together making Fred's blood boil "The first time,I am going to kill him." Fred thought feeling angry tears prick his eyes.Pomfrey came back with a sleeping potion ,Tilly was so out of it she looked at Fred waiting for him to nod his head that it was safe and she took it becoming very tired still holding on to fred laying against his chest with Fred resting his head on top of her rubbing her back and slightly rocking her.
The last thing Tilly remembered before falling into a deep sleep was Fred's soft whisper " your not a whore.your smart and kind." Fred sniffed blinking back tears. "don't let him near me." Tilly muttered falling asleep staring at the same empty space "I'll never let him near you again." Fred stared daggers at that empty space before trying to let Tilly lay down but she immediately opened her eyes looking scared"Could you stay please,if that's ok?" Tilly asked Fred, nodding, wrapping his arms back around her, setting his head on top of hers, rubbing circles on her back watching Tilly fall asleep.
