((Songs from a Youtube video: Falling in love with Shinsou Hitoshi – a playlist (slowed + reverbed) posted by: bunnybesos))

The night before U. A.'s Sports Festival, and Yuki could hear music coming from Shinso's room and the clinking of metal parts of him cleaning his bike. He wasn't loud enough for anyone else to hear, but Yuki's ears weren't as big as they were just for show. Stepping out onto her balcony, she climbed onto the railing and began to dance along to the music with ballet like movement. She recognized the song playing, she was a fan of it as well.

As the music began to swell Shinso stepped out onto his balcony to see what his kitten was meowing so much at, then he saw her. Snow white hair and fur illuminated by the midnight moonlight, making it look like she was almost glowing. It only took him a moment to realize she was dancing to the music playing on his phone. Leaning against the door frame he smiled and watched her, he had no idea she could dance, and she was moving so elegantly. Hopping from her own balcony she continued to dance her way over to him. Spinning in a tight circle in front of him she bent over backwards, gripped onto the railing, slowly pulling her legs over in an almost split before she stood again. Continuing the flow, she arched her back, lifted one of her legs, and fell back into Shinso's arms.

Smiling up at him she let out a giggle, sliding out his arms she caressed his jaw on her way down before she continued to dance on the balcony. Swinging her hips, she softly sang along to the French lyrics, tracing figure eights on Shinsho's chest she spun around and did a graceful dramatic flop against him and pretended to get murdered. Draping herself over the arm that held her, lifting her back to her feet he spun her out before pulling her to spin back into him and dancing in a slow circle with him.

Leaning closer to her ears he took his turn to sing along, dipping her deeply before pulling her back up. She knew the song, and she knew how to dance, but then again so did he and while he wasn't an overly competitive person, he wanted to win. Her face lit up when she understood that he was a good dancer, making her wonder why he didn't want to dance at the party a while ago.

When the song changed, he didn't miss a beat. Singing along to the whole song, he changed up their dancing style to better fit with the music. Keeping her close to him he took charge of the dance, laughing out she followed his lead though she found the lyric to be a bit dark. Turning her around to face away from him, he pressed her body close to his and spoke low in her ear.

"Some call it stalking, I say walking just extremely close behind." His arms holding her tightly against him, making her swing her hips with his in time with the music. Stepping away from her he had her spin around to face him, draping her over his arm he dipped her deeply his free hand pushing the hair out of her eyes as he sang, "You've got those eyes that drive me crazy." Standing her up he released her and walked backwards a few steps, bent over to be on eye level, a finger pressed to his lips. Laughing she took his outstretched hand, other hand on his shoulder with his on the small of her back she rocked in a circle with him leading. Smiling up at him she started to sing along with him as the lyrics began to repeat themselves. Dipping her again, she lifted one leg, grabbing her under her knee he pulled her back up to straddle his hips. Bending over she understood what he was going for, draping herself back she followed the circle he motioned for her to do before coming back face to face with his smirk.

"You're such a good dancer." She purred. "But how come you never sleep?" releasing her he hoped that she wouldn't notice as she stood back on her own feet, sliding down him on her way.

"You always seem to be awake to catch me." He pointed out walking back into his room and waving for her to follow.

"Cats are nocturnal, what's your excuse?" he chuckled at her response.

"Insomniac, remember?" he offered a bottle of water, after she struggled to break the seal, he broke the one he was holding and offered a trade.

"Are you really though?" she asked shyly taking him up on his trade and sitting on the floor with his kitten jumping promptly into her lap. Leaning back against his bed she purred with the kitten, looking so comfortable and at home among his things.

"No, but coffee is in my blood." He joked sitting on the floor next to her, reaching over and scratching the kitten on the head. The little thing pawing at Yuki's chest, he quickly stopped and took a big gulp of his water bottle, uncrossed his legs, pulled his knees up and rested his elbows on his knees.

"Tomorrow is the Sports festival," she went on unaware of his mild crisis, "you should get some sleep."

"What if I can't sleep?" he asked hanging his head forward, hand rubbing the back of his neck as he smiled wickedly at her.

"What's keeping you up?" she asked, suddenly her face going blank and feeling so far away from her body, but she could still hear him when he answered.

"Just some thoughts." He admitted turning his face away as he released her.

"Anything I can help with?" she asked smiling like nothing happened, watching her from the corner of his eye he thought of all the things he wanted to say.

"I don't think so, you should go back to your own room now." He said doing his best to use his usual board and tired tone and hoping she wouldn't notice how his voice felt tight. "I'll try to get some sleep now."

"Okay." She hummed, giving the kitten some kisses on its forehead. He had never been so jealous before. Sitting up she put the kitten in his lap, her hands so close to him. "Goodnight." She smiled messing up his hair, as she pulled her hand away and began to turn around to go back to his balcony and back to her own room, he caught her wrist.

"Sorry," he quickly let go of her, "just a habit. Goodnight." After she left, he sat there, watching the kitten playing in his lap.
