What's that supposed to mean?!

"So, Kagome-chan," Manta looked curious about their new acquaintance. "If you were sent by the Asakura head, you must be a shaman too," he surmised.

Kagome nodded, "I'm a priestess to be exact, just like Asakura Keiko-sama." She smiled when Manta appeared puzzled. "Yoh-kun's mother," she clarified.

"I see," Yoh noted. "A priestess's duties are different from mine. So I guess you don't have a guardian ghost?"

"Hm?" Kagome blinked at the question, then chuckled as she scratched her cheek blushing lightly, "Weeeeell, I wouldn't call him a guardian, but"

"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!" A high-pitched voice cried.
