Chapter 8: Inside the Pliosaurocetus
Meanwhile Red-Claw, his army, and Bowser headed to their destination
(Red-Claw) Well we made it. Now we just have to wait for the others.
(Bowser) I told them to go across big water and find your swimming friend. I'm starting to worry, are they going to be alright?
(Red-Claw) Don't worry, I also called the Pliosaurocetus to carry them to the island.
(Bowser) I hope you're right.
Meanwhile back under big water inside the Pliosaurocetuses mouth Dil shoots past, hurtling towards the front of the mouth. She crashes hard into the teeth with no effect. Dil swims forward for another attempt.
(Ichy) Dil stop it. Do you want him to get a toothache?
(Dil) Ichy. Look around, We are all inside a Pliosaurocetuses, were going to be digested. Don't you get it?
Iggy looks around
(Iggy) A Pliosaurocetus?
(Dil) Yes, because you asked him for help and now we're stuck here and it's driving me crazy!
(Iggy) Wow. You know I speak whale.
(Dil) No! You're insane! You can't speak whale.
Dil pounds furiously on the teeth.
(Dil) I have to get out! So we can get to the island! And find those guys!
Dil breaks down, exhausted. Slides to the bottom. Bowser Jr. Finds her far below, lying on the tongue crying.
(Bowser Jr.) Hey you okay? Hey It's alright. It'll be okay.
(Dil) No it won't.
(Bowser Jr.) Sure it will.
Suddenly, the Pliosaurocetus lurches to a stop and everything goes quiet.
(Ozzy) What's going on?
(Iggy) Don't know, let me ask him.
Iggy starts to speak whale again
(Iggy) Whaaaaaaaat's gooooiiiiiiiiing oooooooon?
(Screech) Iggy, Iggy, Iggy
The Pliosaurocetus responds with deafening moans.
(Iggy) Oh i think he said we stopped.
(Dil) Well, of course we've stopped. Just stop trying to speak whale, You're gonna make things worse.
Suddenly they heard a low rumble
(Strut) What's that noise?
The swimming sharptooth looks up. The WATER LEVEL is lowering.
(Swimming Sharptooth) Oh No look what you did. The waters going down. It's going down.
(Iggy) You sure about that?
(Dil) He's right, look already it's half empty.
(Iggy) Hmm. I say it's half full.
(Dil) Stop that! It's already half empty.
The Pliosaurocetus voice booms again.
(Iggy) Okay. That one was a little tougher. He either said we should go "back of the throat." or he wants a "Root Beer float."
(Dil) Of course he wants us to go there that's eating us
Dil rubs her tail on a taste bud
(Dil) How do i taste moby? Huh? Do I taste good?
Then Dil rubs here tongue on it
(Dil) And how does my tongue taste? Huh does it taste good? And I realized I rubbed my tongue on his tongue!
Dil rubs her tongue with her tail to get the taste off of her.
(Ichy) Well she's right. You tell him we are all not interested in being lunch.
(Iggy) Okay
Iggy starts to speak whale again.
(Iggy) Heeeeeee saaaiid.
(Thud) Stop talking to him.
Without warning the Pliosaurocetuses tongue leaps out of the shallow water, thrusting them up near the roof of the mouth. They hang vertically from the taste buds, screaming.
(Screech) What's going on!?
(Iggy) I'll check
Iggy speaks whale again
(Iggy) Whaaaaaaaaat's…
(Dil) No! No more whale. You can't speak whale.
(Iggy) Yes i can.
(Dil) No you can't.
The tongue reaches to peak. They dangle high over the Pliosaurocetuses undulating throat.
Again the Pliosaurocetus moans. so loud that Red claw's minions, the koopalings, the tongue and the uvula shake from the reverberation. Iggy listens intently and then nods.
(Iggy) Okay.
The iggy let's go of the taste bud
(Thud) Iggy
Iggy grabs his hand. Still clinging to the tongue.
(Iggy) He says it's time to let go! Everything's gonna be alright!
(Thud) How do you know? How do you know Something bad isn't gonna happen?!
(Iggy) I don't!
Dil looks down at the bottomless throat and gulps.
(Dil) Everyone let go.
(Screech) What?! What are you talking about?
(Dil) Trust me. I know what he's doing.
(Lemmy) Here it goes nothing.
Then they all let go of the tongue and tumble down the dark esophagus then water erupts from every direction. Filling the frame. Rushing upwards. No more red-claw army and koopalings Just water. The Pliosaurocetus breaches the surface, shooting a JET OF WATER from its spout. Red-claws arms and the koopalings are thrown high into the air, They pop their heads out of the water and fall straight down into the water.
(Dil) We're alive!
(Bowser Jr.) The island, Red-Claw, Dad!
They all swam towards them
(Bowser) Oh kids. I was so worried about you.
(Red-Claw) I was so worried about you too.
(Iggy) You're not going to believe this dad. we saw red-claws friend the swimming sharptooth and then we were swallowed by a Pliosaurocetus and then we finally made it.
(Red-Claw) Did you say Pliosaurocetus, He's my pet.
(Roy) That's your pet?!
Just then the Pliosaurocetus popped out of the water and swam towards them and Red-Claw came to him and pet his head.
(Red-Claw) Pliosaurocetus, thanks for carrying them all the way here.
The Pliosaurocetus licks him for a you're welcome and Red-Claw giggled.
(Swimming Sharptooth) Hey Red-Claw.
(Red-Claw) Swimming Sharptooth. Thanks for helping my minions and koopalings to the island.
(Swimming Sharptooth) No Problem, Well i better get going. My friends are waiting for me.
(Bowser) Okay Bye.
And with that the swimming sharptooth and the Pliosaurocetus swam away and just then Dil started to speak whale.
(Dil) Thaaaaaank yooouuuuuuuuu, siiiiiiiiiiir!
(Iggy) Wow! I wish i can speak whale!
(Ichy) Well I'm glad that's over now let's go find those guys.
(All) Right
And with that they all went off to find Mario and the others on this Mysterious Island.
