Hello everyone. Welcome back. It's time to start season 2, but first off, a filler chapter. This will be about how everyone prepares for the Sports festival and etc. also I forgot to add this last chapter so I'll add it here.

Quirk usage: He possesses a quirk passed down to him from one generation to the next. This power allows him to stockpile more power. However he has currently transferred his power to his successor and is becoming weaker each day.

Well then, let's begin.

Chapter 9: Preparations

Izuku woke up, early as usual. He and the rest of U.A were given a day off after the attack, but today was the day to return. After he got Himoto the two ate

Breakfast, said goodbye to their mother, and left for school.

"Hey Izuku?" Himoto asked while the two rode the train to school. "How's your hand?"

"It's alright." Izuku said. "It's all healed up and ready for action."

"Great, cause sometimes tells me we're gonna have another battle soon." Himoto said. The two enjoyed the rest of the ride until they reached their stop. They approach the U.A building and soon, they were in class.

Everyone talked about what they did on their day off and what they were gonna do today until Iida spoke.

"Everyone! Class is about to begin, so get into your seats!" Everyone did what the class representative said and sat in their chairs.

"Who do you think will be teaching class Tsu?" Mina asked Tsuyu.

"I don't know, ribbit. But I'm sure they'll be as tough as Aizawa is."

"There is no one tougher than me." A voice from the door said. Everyone looked to see wrapped in bandages.

" ?" Izuku asked, surprised. "Why are you here? I thought you were recovering."

"Not a chance." Aizawa said "you brats wouldn't last a day without me, so I'm still here. Now let's get down to business." He proceeded to the front of the room. "First I want to say, you all handle the USJ well. Some of you could use improvements but other then that, you can handle low class villains well."

Everyone appreciated being praised, but Aizawa spoke again. "Secondly, I want to let you all know there's no time to rest. Another important thing is coming up." Everyone got nervous at what it could be. "The U.A sports festival is coming up." Everyone sighed in relief and some got excited. "This will be your first chance to get recognized by the world. So if I were you, I would take this seriously and train my ass off for what's coming." After that class went on as normal, and when lunch time came, everyone went to the cafeteria.

(Cafeteria)

"Hey guys! Mind if I sit here?" Himoto said to Izuku and his friends.

"Uh sure Himoto." Izuku said.

"If I may ask, why do you want to sit here?" Iida said as Himoto sat down.

"Oh no reason, it's just…" Himoto was then cut off by a loud voice.

"I found you Young Midoriya!" The four students turned to see none other than All Might in his hero costume. "I was wondering if you would like to join me in the teacher's lounge for lunch?"

"Uh s-sure, A-All Might." Izuku said nervously. Even though he worked with him for a while now, he still found himself overwhelmed by his presence, at least his buff presence. The two then walked off, leaving Himoto with Iida and Ochaco.

"Well, that happened." Himoto said jokingly, "now what we're you saying Iida.

"Oh, I'm nothing. I was just wondering why you're sitting here instead of with Ashido and Asui like usual."

"Oh, I just wanted to talk to you guys about Izuku." Himoto said.

"Oh, what about Izuku?" Iida asked.

"It's just, you guys are friends with him, I want to know your thoughts on him."

"Oh, so you want to make sure we're good enough friends for your brother?" Iida asked.

"Not really." Himoto answered, "my brother can be friends with whoever he wants, but I just want to know what you guys think of him in general."

"Oh, well, I for one think he's a great student." Iida answered. "He's smart, has a powerful quirk, and is very calm in situations. Everything a good pro hero should have. I have no doubt he'll make a great hero when we graduate."

Himoto then looked at Ochaco and said, "what about you Ochaco?"

"Oh me!" Ochaco said, a little flustered. "W-what I think about Deku? I think he's kind, and strong, and will be a great hero some day."

"And cute right?" Himoto asked.

"Yes," Ochaco said before she realized what she said and began to stutter. "W-wait, I mean uh."

"Relax. I'm just messing with you!" Himoto said chuckling. "Well, I got what I needed. See you guys later." Himoto waved and left to be with her friends. While thinking to herself. "So, you think he's cute huh?"

(With Izuku)

"So Young Midoriya." All Might, now in his weakened form said. "I'm sure you already know about the U.A sports festival?"

"Yeah, I already have the perfect training plan for it." Izuku answered.

"I hope you do, because this festival is more important in your case."

"It is?" Izuku asked.

"Yes." All Might answered. "It will be your debut to the world. Your first chance to let everyone know that you're here."

"You're right All Might. I'll make sure that I'm ready to win first place."

"Whoa, let's get too confident kid." All Might said. "Although , I do like your attitude."

"Thanks, and don't worry about me. I'll train non stop for the festival."

"Glad to hear it. Now are you gonna eat the ramen?" All Might said looking at Izuku's tray.

"Hey, keep your eyes on your own food!" Izuku said

(Later after school.)

"Well, schools over. Let's get out of here." Himoto said as she put her stuff in her bag.

"Later losers." Bakugo said as he opened the door. However when he did, he and the whole class saw the hallway filled with students from other classes. And from the looks on their faces, they didn't want to make friends.

"What do they want?" Kaminari asked.

"Isn't it obvious?" Bakugo said annoyed, "they're here to scope out the competition. But it's useless, cause they're still nothing but extras." Bakugo then tried to get past the crowd, but that's when a boy with purple hair stepped out of the crowd.

"Well, you certainly don't deserve to be in the hero course." He said, "I think I'll take your spot when I win the festival."

"What did you say?" Bakugo said angrily.

"Matter of fact, I'm willing to take any of your spots." He said to the whole class. "You probably didn't know that this festival will be a chance for general study students to get moved to the hero course ,huh? Pretty soon I , Hitoshi Shinso will be in class 1-A, while one of you is stuck in general studies. Enjoy your last few weeks here." With that, Shinso left. The rest of the students continued to block the doorway. Bakugo eventually shoved his way through, while some students, including Izuku and Himoto followed.

(Train ride home)

"Hey Himoto." Izuku said.

"Yeah Izuku." Himoto said, looking at her brother.

"There's only 2 weeks until the sports festival, and I was thinking…" Izuku was then cut off by Himoto.

"I'm gonna be training with Mina and Tsu." Himoto said.

"Wait, really?" Izuku asked.

"Yeah. After the USJ, I realized I need to come up with some new techniques and fast. Mina and Tsu said they can help me improve my quirk as well as my movements. So I don't think I'll be able to train with you."

"Oh, well that's cool I guess." Izuku said.

"You're really okay with that?" Himoto.

"Totally." Izuku said instantly. "After all the time we trained together, it's about time we changed things up. Besides, I was thinking about training with All Might for the festival. So you having other people to train with is great."

"Oh, well that makes sense." Himoto said.

"Plus." Izuku said getting Himotos attention. "If we train separately, I can make a plan on how to beat you." Izuku said with a smug grin.

"Oh," Himoto said "you think just because you have the All Might's power that you can beat me?"

"Shush!" Izuku said frantically. "Don't say stuff like that in public!"

"Sorry." Himoto said, embarrassed. "But if you are thinking that, you got another thing coming.

"Whatever sis." Izuku said looking back out the window. The twins got home and enjoyed the dinner their mother made them. After watching a movie together, the family went to bed.

(The next day, gym Gamma)

Himoto, Tsu, and Ashido were all in their hero costume and discussing how to start their training.

"So." Mina said. "Here's what we're gonna do. Himoto your gonna use your fire for close range combat."

"How exactly?" Himoto asked.

"Well, you can control your flames right? So just focus them into your hand or something."

"I'll try." Himoto said. She then blew a small green flame from her mouth and focused it into her open palm. With a little effort, the flame made its way into Himotos hand and when she closed her fist it enveloped her fist.

"Whoa!" Himoto said in awe. "How could I not think of this before?"

"Cool! Ribbit!" Tsu said. "What are you gonna call it?

"I think I'll call it… I know! My Emerald fist attack!"

"Uh," Mina said, "is that the best you got?"

"I know it's not the smartest name, but don't act like you could do any better!" Himoto said, getting angry.

"Geez, calm down, I'm just kidding." Mina said nervously.

"Let's get back to training." Tsu said. "So now she has to try to attack someone with that right?"

"Yes." Mina said. "And you can be her target." Mina said with a smile.

"Say what?" Tsu asked

"Go on Himoto! Try to land a hit on Tsu. If you can hit some as acrobatic as her, you'll be able to hit just about anyone. Plus it's good practice for Tsu as well."

"What about you?" Himoto asked.

"You and I will spare after you land one on Tsu. Until then, GO GET HER!" Mina said, pointing at Tsu.

"Okay then." Himoto said with a determined look before charging at Tsu. "Emerald fist!"

"Wait! Ribbit!" Tsu said before she barley dodge a fiery fist. As Tsu continued to dodge punch after punch, Mina watched from the side and thought to herself.

"Man, it's good to have friends like these two."

(With Izuku)

Izuku and a deflated All Might stood in the woods on the U.A campus. There, All Might instructed the boy on what kind of training he'll be doing.

"Well kid, I'm sure you know what you need to do to prepare for the sports festival."

"Yeah All Mi… I mean, Mr. Toshinori. I need to increase the max output of my power."

"Well that's obviously true, but that's not all."

"It's not?" Izuku asked.

"Yes, you need to improve your movements. You're too predictable. Learn how to catch your opponent off guard."

"Um, okay sir." Izuku said. Izuku then ran across the woods using Full cowling 5%. Taking All Mights advice he jumped on the trees, and tried to move in more acrobatic ways. After sometime, he landed in front of All Might to ask him how he was doing.

"How was that sir?" He asked.

"You're fast, but still predictable." All Might then pulled off the cover of an object next to him. It was a softball machine. "I'm going to launch these balls at you, and you have to avoid every single one."

"Really?" Izuku said, looking a bit nervous.

"Yes. We have two weeks to prepare, so we can't take things easy. Unless you don't want to make a good first impression on the world?" All Might said in a skeptical tone.

"W-what!" Izuku said stuttering. "N-no! Of c-course I do! All right then! Let's do this!" Izuku got in front of the machine and got in a stance with a determined look on his face.

"That's the spirit kid!" All Might said as he turned the machine on. "Now let's get started." As the softballs began to launch at Izuku, he dodged by jumping on the tree branches and even managed to catch a few and throw them back. Although he was getting hit by some. However that would easily be fixed with some more training.

The next two weeks were hell for everyone. Especially for Izuku and Himoto. But by the time the two weeks ended, the twins were happy with their results. Izuku managed to learn how to dodge better by performing flips in the air and using the environment to his advantage. While Himoto got a good handle on her emerald fist technique. She even managed to come up with a few close combat attacks. Then the day of the festival arrived and everyone was prepared in their own way.

(Midoriya household, day of festival)

"Good luck you two." Inko said as her children got ready to leave. "I hope you both make it to the top three."

"Thanks for breakfast mom." Himoto said. "And don't worry, ONE of us will." Himoto said, pointing to herself.

"Brag all you want." Izuku said. "It'll only make beating you all the sweeter."

"Oh yeah?" Himoto said.

"Yeah." Izuku said.

"Just remember, I'll record the whole thing in HD, so do your best!" Inko said. Unfortunately her words of encouragement fell on deaf ears as the twins left the apartment bickering about who would beat who. Inko went to the coach and sat on it while sighing.

"(Sigh) oh Hisashi. Our kids sure are something, aren't they?"

(U.A stadium, prep room)

After arriving at U.A, the twins were escorted to the stadium where the festival would take place. All of class 1-A sat and prepared for the upcoming events. While talking about what they did the past two weeks and other things. Izuku and Himoto were discussing what they would do if there was a team event. That's when a certain icy hot male spoke to Izuku.

"Midoriya." Todoroki said in a cold tone.

"Uh, hey Todoroki." Izuku said a bit nervous.

"Listen up, cause I won't repeat myself." Todoroki said, getting everyone's attention. "Midoriya. From an objective standpoint, I'm clearly stronger than you." Izuku wanted to debate that, but stopped when he realized Todoroki was right. Even though he's had One For All for months and managed to learn how to use it properly, Todorokis control of his quirk was much greater. "That being said, you're still a strong student. Which is why I must defeat you." The whole room went silent. Everyone was intrigued by the declaration of war, except for Bakugou, who just scoffed at the idea of Deku being a challenge to anyone. The silence was then broken by the laugh of someone sitting beside Izuku.

"Ha! That's funny Todoroki!" Himoto said laughing.

"What is?" Todoroki said, getting a bit angry.

"You think my brother is the only person you need to worry about?" Himoto said while still smiling from her laughter. "Everyone here is gonna be doing their best, so if anything you should worry about all of your classmates beating you, especially me."

"So, you're basically saying you'll beat me?" Todoroki asked.

"I'm saying don't underestimate any of us. Me, Izuku, Ochaco, and as much I hate to admit, Bakugo." The mentioned student glanced once he heard his name. "Now, you got anything else you want to say?"

"No." Todoroki said and walked away.

"Well, that was interesting." Izuku said slouching against the wall.

"Realm bro. Even if we don't win, I'm sure we'll make it farther than Bakugou right?"

"Don't jinx us like that sis." Izuku said standing up. "And honestly I don't care if I win. I just want to make All Might proud."

"I'm sure you will." Himoto said. The class was then interrupted by Present Mics voice on the intercom.

"Attention! Class 1-A. Make your way to the arena center so we can get this game on!"

The class all got up and made their way to where they were told to go.

"You ready bro?" Himoto asked Izuku as the class exited the hallway and entered the arena. Which was filled with people both young and old.

"Ready as I'll ever be." Izuku said.
