Hey, I'm back!

So here's the finale of Season 2!

DCDGojira, thanks.

Karlos1234ify, hahaha yeah, I mean, considering Ryoko's initial personality, and with Finé trying to stay dormant, that's something she'd very much do anyway.

IdeaPerson1097, hahaha, not exactly a power up, but yeah, she did get her power increased. As for harem time, I will be pushing for that in the story, but I stress that I still don't know where it'll go.

As with when I started, I'm still leaning on Shinjiro x Tsubasa, but as we go, we'll see characters develop, and relationships especially, so we may see a harem, or we may see a single pairing that is not with Tsubasa. Though I'm still leaning on that one.

So yeah, here's the final chapter of Season 2!

XXX

"THIS IS... THE ALL-PIERCING SPEAR, THE GUNGNIR!"

Maria stared in shock, as Hibiki was clad in her Symphogear. She had felt it, the connection. Everything Hibiki felt, and it wasn't just that, she felt everything on the Frontier, every emotion.

From Hibiki's determination, to Shirabe and Kirika's love for each other, to Shinjiro's strong protective will, and every other person on the Frontier.

Maria felt all of them.

It baffled her.

The pure honesty from Hibiki, and the strength from Shinjiro. It was something she craved, yet could never achieve.

The pinkette fell to her knees, as everything from the Gungnir left her, reforming into the yellow armor on Hibiki. It made sense.

Finé's notes had very clearly stated that Hibiki was very attuned to the Gungnir, more so than the first user, Amou Kanade. And Maria had the least affinity to the Gungnir amongst the three of them. Of course the relic would react to Hibiki.

Hibiki turned to face Shinjiro and Dr. Ver, "Shinjiro-san."

The Ultraman nodded at her, before staring the doctor, "Now, Dr. Ver, let's pick up where we left."

The self proclaimed Ultraman Killer glared at them, "One more Symphogear won't make a difference!"

"It will!"

Hibiki yelled, as both her and Shinjiro threw a punch at him, but four hard pillars from the ground rose up to block the strikes, before quickly shooting out to strike the two, sending them to Maria's side.

Hibiki glanced at Shinjiro, and the two split apart, before quickly charging at Dr. Ver. The man grunted as the two bombarded him with kicks and punches.

Maria could only watch in awe as the two slowly pushed the doctor back, even with the Frontier's pillars obstructing them.

Every punch from Shinjiro was in sync with Hibiki's, and every kick from the girl, in turn, synced up with the young man's own. It was a sight to behold, and now watching the two, it was a miracle that Shinjiro and Hibiki, along with the others, had yet to demolish their own team.

Soon, their attacks found their way to Dr. Ver's armored body, and before the doctor could react, a kick to the gut from Shinjiro, and a punch to the face from Hibiki, sent him crashing into a wall.

Dr. Ver cursed. He had severely underestimated the two of them. Especially Hibiki. The Gungnir shards she had prior was sufficient to form a Symphogear, but it wasn't tuned to become one, so she couldn't use an Armed Gear.

In such the girl had resorted to using her own body, or her fists, as a way to fight. Dr. Ver thought it to be primitive, but couldn't deny that it was effective. And the Gungnir shards had slowly adapted to her will, evolving and giving her the ability to form pseudo-Armed Gears like her booster-enhanced brass knuckles.

That was before with the shards that formed the incomplete version of the Gungnir Symphogear. But now, Hibiki was using a completely tuned Gungnir Symphogear.

It meant her output, which was originally high even for the standard Symphogear, was now off the charts. Not to mention the natural affinity Shinjiro had for the three Symphogear users from Section 2 and vice versa, it improved their performance drastically.

Much as he hated to admit it, that meant that even with the Frontier and the Nephilim's cells on his side, Dr. Ver was at a disadvantage. And even if he could control the Frontier from anywhere on the ship, the man preferred a bridge, or rather, a throne where he could rule from.

The man cursed. That meant golems were out of question, and he doubted they could hold the two back long enough. No, he needed something more, something stronger than that fake Ultraman and that little bitch.

Not wasting another second, Dr. Ver turned and jumped out of the bridge, summoning a small sleek golem to carry him as he dashed away.

Shinjiro and Hibiki narrowed their eyes, and made to chase after him, until Genjuro's voice reached their ears, "Guys! The Frontier is moving! And it's not stopping! We need to deal with this quick!"

Shinjiro frowned, "But... How?"

Hibiki frowned, before glancing at the console that was now dormant.

"The Nephilim's cells... The doctor has the Frontier calibrated to himself, and he can control it from anywhere as long as he's on the ship."

The two turned to look at Maria, Shinjiro blinked, "M-maria?"

The pinkette looked at her lap, "And the Frontier itself is powered by the Nephilim's heart..."

Maria didn't dare look up, not at the two, "If you destroy the Nephilim's heart, we can stop him... Please... I know I've done horrible things, and I don't have the right to-"

"It's alright, Maria-san."

The pinkette blinked, as Hibiki knelt down to her level, "E-eh?"

Shinjiro nodded, "You tried, to do what you believe was right. That's the important thing. Don't worry, you can leave the rest to us."

Maria stared at the Ultraman, "Hayata Shinjiro... You..."

The young man turned to where Dr. Ver had left, "Just rest for now. We'll make sure he doesn't get away with this."

Shinjiro then glanced back at her, "And after everything is over, let's start all over again, how does that sound?"

Hibiki giggled, "Are you copying me, Shinjiro-san?"

The Ultraman looked at her, but Maria couldn't see his expression, "Maybe, who knows?"

He then looked away to where Dr. Ver had ran, "Now..."

Hibiki nodded, "Let's go!"

The two then dashed out, Shinjiro shooting out of the bridge, while Hibiki leapt out, leaving Maria alone there.

The pinkette scoffed to herself, "In the end... I'm useless..."

Tears glistened in her eyes, "Sorry... Serena... You're useless sister couldn't do anything..."

On top of the bridge, Bemular closed his eyes, 'Is that what you really believe, Maria Cadenzavna Eve?'

The silver being glanced over to where Shinjiro and Hibiki were, chasing after the doctor, and then to a distance, where Moroboshi, Tsubasa, Chris, Kirika, Shirabe, Kotaro and Seiji were, 'You're not alone, you have allies...'

He glanced down at the bridge, the arm of Nuadha, or rather, the arm of his old friend, weakly pulsing with energy, 'I guess I can give her a little push...'

Bemular brought out a small capsule, glowing with blue Spacium energy. He opened the capsule, letting the glow escape the capsule, and sent down a small beacon to the broken Symphogear pendant, 'The rest is up to you. Show me it isn't a lie, your songs, your light...'

Maria closed her eyes, 'Serena's life... In the end... It was in vain... All because of me...'

"Maria-neesan..."

The pinkette's eyes snapped open. She could never forget that voice, "Serena?!"

Maria snapped her head up, and she saw. No, it was more accurate to say that she felt her sister.

Serena asked, "What do you really want to do?"

The pinkette looked down, "I... I just want to do what you did..."

The younger girl shook her head, "Wrong... Try again..."

Maria blinked, "E-eh? What do you mean?"

Serena smiled, "I want you to answer me honestly, right from your heart."

The pinkette furrowed her brows, and she looked at the floor, "I... I want to save the world with my songs. I want to stop the Moon from falling, and I want... I want to be like them."

The younger sister smiled, "Then, you need to be honest first. Don't hide your emotions."

Maria's eyes widened, filled with confusion, "What do you-?!"

Serena cut her off, as she started singing, "Ringo wa ukanda osora ni..."

Maria's eyes widened, realizing what her sister was doing, and closed her eyes, following after her.

"Ringo wa okkochita jibeta ni..."

Serena smiled, and the two sang in complete unison.

"Hoshi ga umarete uta ga umarete..."

"Lulu amel wa waratta tokoshie to.."

As the two sang, light particles gather around them, and the world witnessed it from the camera that was still running live.

"Hoshi ga kisu shite uta ga nemutte..."

People around the world listened intently, for they too understood that the girl was genuinely trying to help. Some were skeptical, some decided her to be a fraud, while some thought this to be a joke.

Yet, they listened. And their reaction led to an increase in Phonic Gain.

"Kaeru toko wa doko desho...?"

"Kaeru toko wa doko desho...?"

In the section where Dr. Ver had sent Nastassja up to the Moon, the woman groaned as the wheelchair pushed the rubble off of her, transforming into an armor that helped her stand up.

Praise herself for preparing such a function on her wheel chair.

But the woman wasn't focused on that. She was more focused on Maria singing, and the energy readings from the Frontier.

Dr. Ver had initially stated that to use a Symphogear, and to make Kohinata Miku into a puppet, they needed love. The professor herself knew it, yet she had forgotten about it when she had Maria sing to gather Phonic Gain for the Frontier.

Maria's honest, exposed feelings, her love for her late sister, it wasn't just resonating with the Frontier, it was resonating with the billions of people all around the globe.

The woman smirked, 'This... This can work...!'

"Ringo wa ukanda osora nii..."

"Maria!"

Nastassja's voice stopped the girl from singing, and Maria immediately snapped her head up, "Mom?!"

The woman's voice sounded, "Maria, your song, it's working! We have enough Phonic Gain to stop the Moon."

Maria's eyes widened, "R-really?!"

Nastassja nodded, "Listen, I'll stop the Moon. It is my responsibility. Maria, as of now, you are free."

The pinkette blinked, "Wait, what?"

The woman's voice reached her ears again, "Maria, you have nothing left to hold you back. Not me, not Dr. Ver. Kirika, Shirabe, Kotaro, and even Seiji have all made a decision. You're the only one left, and I want you to do it for yourself."

Maria felt something warm from her pocket, and she took it, revealing Serena's broken pendant, glowing and pulsing softly in her hands, and the pinkette closed her eyes, "Got it... Mom, I know what I have to do..."

The pinkette couldn't see her, but she felt as if Nastassja was smiling, "Good, now go."

Maria didn't hesitate. She wouldn't. Not anymore.

Meanwhile, Shinjiro and Hibiki were chasing after Dr. Ver.

The man glanced back, and he cursed, "Persistent little cockroaches..."

He wordlessly summoned a dozen golems. While the doctor wanted nothing more than to send his trump card at them, Dr. Ver knew it wasn't the right time and the right place.

The bridge was directly behind them, and one stray attack will destroy his throne.

No, he needed to bring them further away.

Shinjiro and Hibiki both frowned when the golems got in their way, and they quickly prepared themselves.

Two of the golems tried to smash Hibiki, but Shinjiro grabbed one of them and threw it into another golem at a distance, and Hibiki quickly took the chance to smash the golem to pieces.

The Ultraman quickly threw several Ultra Slash rings to slice the golems apart, before grabbing one of the golems and yelled, "Hibiki!"

The cream haired girl blinked after punching another golem to pieces, "Hmm?"

She turned to see Shinjiro throwing the golem at her, and Hibiki grinned, quickly enlarging her gauntlet, and as the golem reached her, she slammed her fist into it, shattering it to pieces.

The girl then extended her Power Jacks and pushed herself forward, kicking yet another Golem to pieces, before turning to smash another one.

Shinjiro didn't let down his attacks, not wanting to be shown up by the cream haired girl, and he quickly sliced another Golem apart, before firing a massive Spacium Ray that completely wiped out the remaining golems.

The two then quickly chased after Ver, and Hibiki pouted, giving Shinjiro a light glare, "That beam of yours is cheat, Shinjiro-san!"

The Ultraman simply chuckled, "I didn't know we were competing."

Hibiki simply giggled and they hastened their pace.

Dr. Ver growled as the two easily wiped out the golems he sent out, until he noticed he had reached his destination. The man smirked, 'Yes, this is it! The final stage! For them anyway...'

The self proclaimed Ultraman Killer landed on the ground, before making the ground rise up so that he was standing tall above them, and he turned to Shinjiro and Hibiki.

Hibiki glared at him, "No where to run, Dr. Ver!"

The doctor smirked behind his helmet, "On the contrary, I led you two here. I didn't run."

Shinjiro glanced around, aside from the raised platform, there wasn't anything here, "Led us here? What are you planning?"

Ver smirked, "I'm so glad you asked! Behold!"

The ground beneath Shinjiro and Hibiki trembled, and the Ultraman's eyes widened, before he quickly snatched Hibiki and shot off the ground, just in time as a set of jaws rose from the ground.

The bespectacled man grinned gleefully, "BEHOLD! This is the complete form of the Nephilim! Lament your powerlessness, because everything ends here for you!"

Shinjiro let Hibiki onto the ground, and they shared a glance. Hibiki grinned, "As if!"

The two sprang into action, and Shinjiro pumped Spacium energy into his fist, while Hibiki enlarged her gauntlets. In complete unison, the two landed a devastating punch to the beast's gut.

Normally, such a punch would have destroyed anything in their way, yet to the two's surprise, the combined punch did nothing more than push the automatic relic back by an inch.

The Nephilim roared and tried to swat the two away as if they were insects, but Shinjiro and Hibiki quickly backed away. The girl frowned, "It's tough..."

The Ultraman nodded, "Yeah..."

The two then quickly split apart to dodge a stomp from the beast, and Shinjiro threw an Ultra Slash ring that split into six, the six rings whirling around and slicing through the Nephilim's limbs. Yet, none of them manage to do any lasting damage.

Shinjiro shot up to the sky, and unleashed his own Spacium Ray at the relic, pushing it back slowly as its feet dug into the ground. However, the Nephilim stopped moving, and opened its mouth, positioning so that the Spacium Ray was firing into it, and it swallowed.

The Ultraman's eyes widened as he watched the beast devour the Spacium Energy, and found that he couldn't stop his beam, "W-what the fuck?!"

Hibiki frowned, and quickly pushed Shinjiro to a side, forcefully stopping the beam, "You okay, Shinjiro-san?"

The young man nodded, noting the drop of his Spacium energy levels, "Yeah, thanks."

The beast roared, and unleashed a massive sphere of fire at the two, pumping the energy it had absorbed from the Ultraman back at them, and Shinjiro quickly grabbed onto Hibiki, readying himself to fly up.

But before he could, a loud yell reached his ears, and a flaming object slammed into the sphere of flames, effectively dispersing it, and a familiar armored figure crashed right beside him.

Taro groaned as his armor clicked back into place, "Note to self, don't do that again."

He got to his feet, and Shinjiro blinked, "Taro?"

The horned Ultra grinned, "Hey, Shodai-san."

He glanced at Hibiki, "So, you got your Symphogear back?"

Hibiki shook her head, "No, Maria-san's Gungnir reacted to me."

Taro blinked, before remembering that the two girls had essentially been using the same gear, "Hmm, makes sense."

The Nephilim roared again, gaining their attention, only for a wave of bullets and chain saws to strike the beast, following by a massive sword and several beam scythes with one Ultra Guillotine slamming into the relic, forcing it to take a step back.

"Shinjiro/-kun!"

The young man turned to see Tsubasa and Chris landing on the ground, quickly rushing to him, only to stop. Behind them were Moroboshi, Seiji, Shirabe and Kirika.

Seiji whistled, "Now I know what that woman was on about."

Shinjiro blinked, "Sorry, what?"

Moroboshi sighed, and pointed to the two, as Shinjiro was still holding onto Hibiki, his arms wrapped around her waist, and the cream haired girl blushed, before they quickly separated.

Tsubasa closed her eyes, doing her best to ignore Finé's words that were ringing in her mind, "I suppose the situation might have called for it, what with the enemy's attack."

Chris huffed, "Like we care... Now come on, we need to catch that asshole."

Shirabe and Kirika simply stared at Shinjiro and Hibiki, the two noting the Gungnir Symphogear on Hibiki.

"DO YOU THINK YOU CAN RELAX?! YOU FUCKING FAKES!"

Everyone turned to see Dr. Ver behind the Nephilim, "WE'RE NOT DONE HERE!"

In response, the beast roared, and unleashed a massive sphere of flames, forcing all of them to dodge. Hibiki yelled, "Shinjiro-san, Ace, Taro!"

She enlarged her gauntlets, the motor powered piston charging up, and Shinjiro pumped Spacium Energy into his fists, just as Taro unlocked the restraints around his arm.

Ace smirked, "A combination attack? You're on!"

The right half of his Ultra Guillotine connecter glowed, unleashing a green glow that enveloped his fists.

Beta Smash

The four then charged, and all of them sent devastating punches to the Nephilim's chest, sending it stumbling back a few steps.

Kirika grinned, "Our turn-desu! Shirabe! Seiji-nii! Hayata Shinjiro!"

The three glanced at her, as the blonde prepared a wave of energy scythes. Shinjiro glanced at them, and wordlessly created two Ultra Slash rings in his hands, while Seiji prepared an Ultra Guillotine.

Shirabe, on the other hand, extended her armored twin tails, creating a volley of buzzsaws.

The four then unleashed their attacks all at once.

The seemingly endless energy bladed projectiles rained down on the beast, landing multiple cuts on it, sending it back further.

Tsubasa and Chris didn't waste the chance, as multiple massive swords and missiles, along with a few yellow energy slashes, slammed into the beast, sending it to the ground.

Yet even as the attacks hit and sent the Nephilim crashing to the ground, it was no more than a hard sucker punch to the beast, as it quickly got to its feet. Ace yelled, "Guys? It's not going down!"

Shinjiro and Taro landed on the ground, and the young man glanced at the horned Ultraman, "Taro, we never did go all out against each other, did we?"

The man blinked, "What are you-oh..."

A grin appeared on his face as he noticed Shinjiro removing the limiter on his suit and inner Spacium core, glowing bright red, and Taro did the same, removing every single lock on his own suit, letting his flames out.

The two then lunged at the beast, and their punches landed on tne Nephilim's face, sending it to the ground yet again. Shinjiro floated in the air, while Taro landed on the ground.

Dr. Ver frowned as the Nephilim got to its feet, but stumbled as a part of its body crumbled to dust, 'Hmm, even if it has the full power of the Nephilim, because the heart isn't there, it can't regenerate as fast as it should?'

The man cursed, 'I guess this is as far as we can go.'

But before he could further lament on the situation, an idea sparked in his mind, and the man smirked. He then turned to summon the one thing he needed from the depths of the Frontier, but not before sending one last command to the Nephilim golem.

Kill them all.

The beast roared, and unleashed another fire ball at the group, but this time, Shinjiro was prepared, and a massive Ultra Slash cut it apart, letting it crash to their sides.

Tsubasa frowned, "The doctor! He's gone!"

"Don't worry! I'm still here!"

The self-proclaimed Ultraman Killer rose up from the ground on a pillar, a very familiar object by his side. Shirabe narrowed her eyes, "That's..."

Kirika frowned, "Nephilim's heart."

Moroboshi glared at him, "What are you planning, Ver?"

Seiji glared at him, "Give up! You've nowhere to run!"

Dr. Ver cackled, "Who said anything about running?! I have no need to run from a bunch of fakes! As for what I'm planning, just watch!"

He grabbed the Nephilim's heart that was still linked to the Frontier, and slammed it onto his own chest, "Now, THIS WILL MARK THE END FOR ALL OF YOU!"

The heart and core pulsed in sync, and multiple pillars shot out from around Dr. Ver, before enclosing around him.

Seiji frowned, "What is he doing?"

No one could give him an answer. They didn't need to, as the ground beneath Dr. Ver burst upwards, forming a larger version of the Nephilim, with more spikes coming out from the back and the elbows.

Shirabe's eyes widened, "He fused with it?!"

The Nephilim roared at them, and unleashed a dozen spikes from the Frontier at them. The nine of them scattered apart, narrowly dodging the spikes, before Tsubasa and Moroboshi charged at the beast.

Pumping Spacium Energy into his Spacium Katana, the man landed a normally fatal slash onto the beast's heel, while Tsubasa enlarged her blade to slash at the beast's waist.

But the two slashes didn't cut through, not even by an inch, and the beast simply summoned a pillar each to smash the two back.

Tsubasa and Moroboshi were sent flying back, but Shinjiro and Seiji both caught them, and landed by everyone else. The beast roared, Dr. Ver's voice sounding from the Nephilim, "DO YOU THINK YOU CAN AFFORD TO STAY IN ONE PLACE TOGETHER?!"

The Nephilim quickly unleashed a massive sphere of flames, and it shot towards them in no time. Shinjiro cursed, and readied an Ultra Barrier, while Taro quickly got in front of everyone, ready to use his own flames to counter the attack.

"Seilien Coffin Airgetlam Tron..."

They didn't need to act, as a bright white glow stopped the attack, before clearing the dust, revealing a very familiar combinations of words, equations and patterns.

Chris' eyes widened, "T-this is?!"

They turned to see Maria, holding the cracked pendant of the Airgetlam. Hibiki beamed, "Maria-san!"

Maria gave her a glance, and she nodded to her. Taro stared at her, "Maria, that Symphogear..."

The pinkette stared at him, "It's okay. I can't hesitate. After all, Mom's putting her life on the line to stop the Moon."

She glanced up at the Moon, where a barely noticeable glint could be seen heading for the satelite. Shirabe and Kirika frowned, and Seiji furrowed his brows, "That old hag..."

Shinjiro stared at her, feeling an odd sense of familiarity from the pendant she was holding, and he opened his mouth to say something, only for Dr. Ver's voice to cut him off.

"USING THE TRANSFORMATION ENERGY AS A BARRIER FIELD?! IMPRESSIVE! I'LL GIVE YOU THAT! BUT CAN IT LAST LONG?!"

The beast unleashed another sphere of flames at them, and the barrier shook under the pressure of the blow. Maria winced as she tried her best to hold on, but was quickly failing, as the barrier started to fade away, "It's not enough...?!"

"No, it's plenty!"

Shinjiro's voice reached her ears, and the pinkette's eyes widened when she saw him glow, and the energy she felt from her pendant tripled. Taro looked at her, "Now, sing!"

Maria glanced at the other Symphogears and they nodded.

(Play Hajimari no Babel)

The barrier quickly rebuilt itself, and Moroboshi glanced at Taro and Ace, "We'll buy them time, got it?"

Ace smirked, "Say no more old man."

Seven huffed as they charged out of the barrier, "Try to keep up then, brat."

Taro chuckled as they made a beeline for the beast. Dr. Ver cackled, "It's useless! No matter how many of you show up, there's only gonna be one result!"

Moroboshi frowned as he threw a dozen Eye Slugger knives, the knives stabbing into the Nephilim's arms, "I don't know if you've been in a fight before, but there's usually not this much talking."

Ace smirked, "Besides, you're starting to sound like a third rate villain!"

Dr. Ver screeched as the beast flailed around, "SHUT UP YOU FUCKING FAKES!"

Taro scoffed as he easily dodged the swings, "You really should have let the beast do its own thing."

With a grunt, the horned Ultra landed a devastating punch to the Nephilim's face, sending it stumbling backwards. Unlike before, when the Nephilim was naturally fighting on its own, Dr. Ver was the one driving, and compared to the beast, his movements were much easier to predict.

Ace grinned as he sent an Ultra Guillotine at the beast's eyes, something mirrored by Seven with an energy slash, and while the beast quickly blocked it with its arms, it allowed Seven and Ace to slice at the Nephilim's heels, cutting its tendons.

The result? The beast was forced to its knees, and a quickly flaming punch from Taro sent it to the ground.

Dr. Ver growled, "You puny little...!"

He was cut off when he noticed the barrier around the Symphogear users and Shinjiro expanding, "That's... Six Climax Songs?!"

Hibiki grinned as she felt the energy welling up inside her, "It's not just six..."

Tsubasa grunted as she felt the amount of Phonic Gain and the Spacium Energy from Shinjiro in her, enhancing each other constantly, "This is..."

Chris gritted her teeth, "This is... Everyone's..."

"OUR CLIMAX SONG FROM SEVEN BILLION PEOPLE!"

The six of them yelled out in unison, and Dr. Ver growled, "But can YOU USE IT IN TIME?!"

The fallen beast unleashed multiple beams from its body, aiming to strike the six girls, but Dr. Ver failed to account for one thing. There was one Ultraman with them.

A massive Ultra Barrier formed before them and stopped the beam, before Shinjiro turned his barrier into a Spacium Ray, striking the Nephilim straight in the chest, sending it to the ground once again, "Now!"

Shirabe glared at the beast, "This song, this light, THIS IS..."

"OUR... SYMPHOGEAR/-DESU!"

The six of them shot up away from Shinjiro, before turning into a myriad of colours, slamming straight into the beast's chest, easily piercing through the Nephilim's body.

The Nephilim gave a final roar, before crumbling to pieces, revealing Dr. Ver on the ground, his suit shattered, with the Nephilim's heart by his side on the ground. The three Ultraman suits approached him, and Moroboshi wasted no time in apprehending him, "It's over, Ver."

The six Symphogears floated in the air with Shinjiro, and they descended slowly to them. Seiji whistled, "So that's the X-Drive, neat."

Taro looked up at them, Shirabe, Kirika and Maria all marveling at their upgraded Symphogears, especially the pinkette for once again seeing her sister's gear.

The doctor growled, "It's not over yet, YOU FAKES!"

His arm inched over despite being held down by Seven, and touched the ground, making it glow with the runes that came with the Nephilim's connection, and Maria's eyes widened, "No!"

It was too late, as the ground quickly swallowed the Nephilim's heart. Taro glared at him, "What did you do?!"

Dr. Ver cackled, "Nothing much. I simply cut off the restraints holding the Nephilimback! Now the heart will devour everything it sees!"

He leered at them, "You, me, everyone WILL DIE! WHO NEEDS A WORLD WHERE I DON'T BECOME A HERO?!"

"You won't die, nor will any of us."

Everyone turned to see Genjuro on a jeep, with Shinji by his side. Hibiki blinked, "S-shishou?"

The redhead regarded her, before staring at Dr. Ver, "You won't be special, not a villain, nor a hero. You will be judged, just as every other human being would be."

The doctor sneered, "DON'T FUCK WITH ME!"

He sprang to his feet in an attempt to strangle the redhead, yet he had severely underestimated his strength, and before he knew it, Dr. Ver found himself eating dirt again. Genjuro glanced at Shinji, "Ogawa."

The ninja nodded, "Yes."

He brought out a syringe and stabbed it into the man's neck, and in an instant, the doctor stopped resisting, falling into a deep slumber. Chris blinked, "What did you-"

The commander answered, "Tranquillisers. He'll just sleep for a bit."

The lavender haired girl oh'd, "I see..."

Shinjiro asked, "What are you doing here anyway?"

Shinji smiled, "The commander was worried, and we decided it would be easier for you to deal with the more dangerous factors if we helped you bring him in."

Genjuro stood up, letting Shinji hoist the man onto their jeep, "At any rate, we're not done. He mentioned the Nephilim's heart cutting loose..."

He was cut off when the ground rumbled again, and Taro frowned, "I guess that's our answer."

As if to further emphasise on that statement, the ground started to shake and crumble, making Genjuro curse, "Shit..."

He glanced at the others, "Can you stop it, the Nephilim?"

Hibiki grinned, "Of course, Shishou!"

Genjuro spared everyone else a glance, and nodded, "We're counting on you."

They all nodded, and the jeep sped away, making a beeline for the submarine that was their tenporal base.

Then, the ten of them felt another rumble, and Shirabe frowned, "That's..."

They all looked at the core of the Frontier, where the bridge was located, where the engine stayed hidden beneath. And it glowed with a bright red.

Kirika furrowed her brows, "It's... Absorbing the Frontier?"

Maria cursed, "We need to stop it!"

Moroboshi frowned, "No, we won't make it. We need to move away, now!"

As if on cue, the ground split apart, and Chris quickly expanded her Armed Gear into its mobile armor form, letting Seven on, while Shirabe expanded her own Armed Gear into its Dystopia form, letting Taro stand on it.

They quickly shot up away from the ground as it collapsed, and Shinjiro glanced down to see Genjuro's jeep entering the submarine, before the base released a barrage of missiles, creating an opening that let it fall.

That was one less thing to worry about, and the young Ultraman focused on the Frontier.

Maria frowned, as the bridge collapsed, and a red glow took its place, "Its regenerating?!"

The entire Frontier started to shrink, everything being absorbed into a single point, and it appeared.

Seiji frowned, "So, the last boss is here..."

Shinjiro frowned. It was twice the size of Dr. Ver's enhanced Nephilim, and it looked eerily similar to Zetton.

Kirika and Shirabe shared a glance, and they charged, the latter extending her scythe to form 3 extra blades, before quickly spinning it.

Last Butcher: Neverland.

The two girls slashed into the beast's shoulders, but as soon as they did, the two girls felt their energy being forcibly ripped from them, earning yells of pain from them.

Kotaro frowned as he felt the Dystopia armor crack under his feet, "Shirabe! Kirika!"

Maria frowned as Tsubasa and Chris took down the tendrils that tried to grab the two younger girls, "So its not only eating relics, it also takes in their energy?!"

Hibiki frowned, "If it goes on..."

Chris gritted her teeth, before remembering the one other relic she had with her, 'Let's hope this works...'

The lavender haired girl shot forward, and Moroboshi asked, "What are you doing?"

The girl grunted, "Just watch!"

She brought out Solomon's Cane, and shot out a beam from the staff, opening a portal behind the beast. Seiji blinked, before his eyes widened, "I see! The gate, we can trap the Nephilim there!"

The beast also noticed this, as the Nephilim swung its arm at Chris. Shinjiro cursed, "Chris!"

She couldn't move in time, and the beast struck her head on, stopping her from opening the gate. Shinjiro easily caught her, "You alright?"

Chris groaned, "Yeah, thanks..."

As for the cane, Maria caught it, and she glared at the beast, before quickly using her own Symphogear to boost the cane in opening a portal. Soon, the portal manifested, and the Earth's gravity, along with the Gate of Babylon's natural absorbing nature pulled the Nephilim in.

The beast roared, and tried to take in the six relics in could sense nearby, only for a large beam of energy to slam into its chest, sending it further down.

Shinjiro's eyes widened, and he looked up to see Bemular, "Bemular?!"

Seiji glared at him, "You!"

Bemular spared the other Ultraman suits a glance, before looking at Shinjiro, "Focus your Spacium Ray, Hayata Shinjiro."

The silver being stared down at the beast, "That thing is something that shouldn't exist. I'd like to keep it that way."

Moroboshi frowned, "And you'll help us?"

Bemular glanced at him, "Yes, you can think of it that way, at least for now."

Taro stared at him warily, and the silver being looked at Shinjiro, "Now, Ultraman, we'll push it down."

Shinjiro frowned, "Don't tell me what to do!"

Regardless, the young man placed his arm into the infamous T-shaped pose, and shot a Spacium Ray down at the beast. In sync, Bemular unleashed a red beam of energy from his arms, and the two attacks smashed into the Nephilim.

Tsubasa's eyes widened, as the beam slowly pushed the beast towards the portal, "They're pushing it back?!"

The Nephilim roared as it tried to grab any of the relics or the Ultraman suits, but failed as all of them cut down the tendrils before they could grab hold of anyone.

As it fell into the portal, the beast roared again, and to everyone's surprise, grabbed hold of the edges of the portal, pulling itself up even as the portal burned through its flesh.

Bemular clicked his teeth in annoyance, "Persistent..."

Shinjiro grunted as the two increased their output, yet the Nephilim held strong, "Any ideas?!"

The silver being paused when he found Shinjiro staring at him, "Why are you looking at me?"

The young Ultraman retorted, "You're the one with the mysterious plan! Something like this shouldn't be a problem for you, or am I wrong?"

Bemular sighed, "What kind of logic is that? But yes, I may have an idea."

Moroboshi resisted the urge to reprimand the kid for bantering with an enemy, especially under such circumstances, but that could wait.

The silver being glanced at the six Symphogear users, "The six of you, you all have seven billion people's worth of Phonic Gain, not to mention, Hayata Shinjiro's Spacium Energy to further enhance your abilities. Link hands. That should be enough to push it into the treasury."

Hibiki, Tsubasa, Chris, Maria, Shirabe and Kirika all shared a glance, and they nodded, before quickly linking hands, and parts from Hibiki and Maria's Symphogear popped out, forming two massive hands that combined to form a massive linked fist.

Bemular narrowed his eyes, 'That's...'

The six girls roared, and they charged, the fists spinning as they shot forward right along Shinjiro and Bemular's beams.

Vitalization.

Then, they struck the Nephilim head on. The one punch stunned the beast, forcing it to loosen its hold on the portal. Shinjiro roared, "Bemular!"

The silver being scoffed and they forced themselves to increase their output again, effectively pushing the Nephilim straight into the treasury.

The fists that consisted of all six Symphogear users dispersed, and Maria grabbed the Cane of Solomon, pointing it at the portal. With a simple flick, she closed the portal.

But as the portal shrunk, the pinkette frowned at the staff in her arms. Like Chris, Maria despised the fact that Dr. Ver had used the relic as a weapon, and there was no doubt that there'd be more people out there who wanted to do the same.

Tightening the grip on the cane, she made her decision, and with a heave, Maria threw the staff into the portal right as it closed.

The ten of them floated in the stratosphere, and Chris approached Maria, "Maria, you threw the staff into the gate."

The pinkette nodded, before remembering that Chris had been wanting to retrieve the staff, "Yeah... Sorry, after all the trouble you went through."

The lavender haired girl shook her head, "No, its better that way. No one can use it now."

Maria nodded, a small smile forming on her face, "I guess you're right."

(linebreak)

A while later, the ten of them were on the ground, at a beach some distance away from where the Frontier had surfaced.

Hibiki approached Maria, and she held out the pendant to her, but the pinkette shook her head, "No, you keep it. You're more suited to have it."

The cream haired girl stared at her, before nodding, "Thank you."

Kotaro looked at Shinjiro, "I suppose this is where we part ways."

Shinjiro nodded, "Yeah, but at least, we aren't enemies anymore, right?"

Seiji smirked, "Heh, as long as you don't do anything wrong."

The first Ultraman of them all smirked back, "That's my line."

Moroboshi scoffed, "Well, considering your efforts, I suppose we can let this go."

Tsubasa nodded, but before she could speak, a boisterous voice reached their ears.

"And why end it there?"

The ten of them turned to see Genjuro walking to them, the submarine moving along the coastline towards them, "The five of you, do you have any plans after this?"

Shirabe blinked, "Plans?"

Shinji nodded, "Yes, plans on how you will manage from now on."

Maria frowned, "No, I guess not. But we'll probably get by."

Genjuro sighed, "Seriously... If you don't have any plans, then how about you all come with us?"

The five of them blinked, "E-eh?"

Seiji blinked, "But, we were terrorists just a few hours ago!"

Hibiki grinned, "A few hours ago, yes. But not anymore, right?"

Shirabe blinked, before she sighed, "I guess I should have seen this coming one way or another..."

Genjuro chuckled, "Don't worry, we'll deal with the details. I like to think I have enough connections to make it work. Besides, I thought we were way past the whole enemy thing."

The five of them shared a look, not knowing how to answer. Shinjiro looked at them, "How about that? That'll let you keep an eye on the world easily, right? Besides, I'm sure joining us will give you more leeway than running off by yourself."

Kotaro sighed, "I guess you're not wrong."

Seiji blinked, "Wait, you're agreeing?!"

Maria nodded, a smile forming on her face, "Why not? It's not like we can do much anymore. If nothing else, we can see how far your light will go, Hayata Shinjiro-kun."

Kirika and Shirabe nodded, "True/Desu-desu."

At that moment, for some reason, Hibiki, Chris and Tsubasa felt a disturbance, but they ignored it.

Genjuro laughed, "Then that settles it! Now, since we stopped the Frontier and solved everything for now, how about we go have a little celebration?"

The ten of them looked at him, before they sighed and nodded. Everyone then boarded the submarine and headed back to the mainland.

As they left, above them hidden in the clouds, Bemular stared down at the sinking base, "Sealing the staff away with the Nephilim, not a bad choice. But, we're down by one Symphogear user, no, two of them. No matter..."

The being's focus shifted to the redhead, "Being judged just like every other human, huh? Kazanari Genjuro, you may be worthy just yet."

He looked up at the Moon, which was now back in its original orbit, "Nastassja Sergeyevna Tostaya..."

He wouldn't admit it, but he was grateful for the woman's decision. The Curse of Balal was back in place, and hopefully he wouldn't need to act, if at all. But for now, just as he had done for so many years, he would watch.

There were a group of Ultraman and Symphogears here after all.

XXX

DONE. So that's the end of season 2!

Three months. That's how long it took me to finish one season with assignments and university.

Not bad in my book.

I'm assuming that may be how long it should take me to finish each season from now on, maybe less, maybe more.

But yeah, I'll be working on the next chapter ASAP, though I have assignments coming up again, not to mention my finals for the semester in a few weeks.

Until, then. Review please.
