Hi guys!

Sorry this isn't an update! i will update as soon as i get my system fixed up which will be soon!!!!

So I was reading some comments (thank you for leaving them and i hope you leave more!!!!) about how I should stop with the drinking and kissing and almost sex stuff but... sorry, can't do that.

Understandable if you don't want to read it because of that, but I created Cherith's character as a result of what she has gone through and is still going through.

So I want to put this out there...

First, to the guest saying she wants to stay a virgin, sorry if it seemed that way but she doesn't want to stay a virgin or whatever, she just hasn't found anyone she is that interested in and Mystic Falls doesn't hold any characters she wants to become that intimate with and believe me I'll be rectifying that this season.

She also wasn't almost taken advantage of... believe me, Timmy would have been on the ground before he could try anything. And there's nothing bad about kissing Tyler, lol... he has made fucked up decisions especially with matters relating to Vicki, but how many guys in TVD are pure? Stefan? Damon? The original brothers? All of them are even worse than Tyler but because of how awesome and good-looking they are people choose to ignore those messed up sides of them.

Second, not all teenagers are as pure as you think.

In the series, Jeremy was doing drugs and he was what? 15? He was also drinking as well.

Most of the teenagers in the TVD series care very little about sex and drinking and Cherith is no different.

You see her as childish but her mindset is so not that.

If you read it very closely, especially in Founder's Day, I explained that she was drinking to stop her magic exploding out of her.

People who drink will tell you it helps them keep their minds off of things. I don't condone being an alcoholic though, and Cherith won't become one.

But her magic is so powerful and like I once explained too, it's very difficult for a large amount to affect her.

She might end up tipsy, but not overly drunk. She still knows what is going on around her and you'd never catch her completely out to the world except maybe if someone she trusts is there with her.

She doesn't even need an ID to order... all she needs is to just use her mind controlling magic and poof! drinks on the house.

Lol, maybe I should have put a warning that there would be underage drinking and sex in future chapters… I just might end up doing that.

Cherith has been through a lot for her to function as a normal teen like she once might have been.

Her introduction to the supernatural world wasn't the best, she can't control her growing powers, she's even having nightmares about killing people she grew up with.

Like a comment below said, not everyone has gone through the same things… this is the Cherith I have imagined for my book.

She's going to be fun, crazy, make some decisions and I like this one… she won't be a Mary Sue.

Not everything she does is for everyone to like her. You might not condone everything she does, but that's what makes her REAL!

Of course, most 16 year olds shouldn't be like this, but she's more mature, having an IQ of 187 and seeing things differently than most would, add to it that the people she schools with are 17-18 year old! maybe if she had friends her age she might not be like this, but it's too late for that.

I of course totally understand your concern though... who wouldn't be worried about a 16 year old doing this? But Cherith's mind is basically spinning out of control... especially with her lack of control over her Nexus powers... things like this are probably the last things on her mind, like any 16 year old who finds out they could destroy the world with their powers.

I just wanted to put this out there so that there would be no more confusion and all.

Don't worry, I'll be posting in 2-3 days!!! Hope you all look forward to it!! And love Cherith just the way she is!

She ain't perfect and I won't make her out to be… she's a powerful witch who will make lots of mistakes but at the same time stand above it all!

So I hope you keep reading and take her for who she is!!!!!!!!
