The Guide To Fixing Friendship
Eastern Air Temple
While Dakota and Korra were heading to the Eastern Air Temple, with Korra thinking about what to say to Lily. Jinora was in one of the yards of the Eastern Air Temple, playing with multi-color bunnies with dragonfly wings for ears. "Gotcha!" Jinora said as she jumped to get a green color bunny. But Jinora missed and she landed in her front. The bunny corrupted and used its ears to fly away. "Furry-Foot, come back." Jinora said to the green bunny. The bunny then landed on her head for a second, before Jinora got up,
"Jinora, there you are." Tenzin said as he walked to Jinora. "Come on, everyone's waiting. Were you playing with someone?" Tenzin asked Jinora, not being able to see the bunnies. "Oh, just some imaginary friends." Jinora said to Tenzin. "Well maybe next time you can play with one of Lily's Pokemon instead." Tenzin said to Jinora, before leaving, with the green bunny holding onto his head, making it look like Tenzin said dragonfly wings for ears. This made Jinora laugh, before going after Tenzin.
Soon Tenzin and Jinora were in a courtyard where everyone else was relaxing. Well almost everyone Kya and Bumi were talking while Kay was using healing waterbending on Lily's hands. "Stop telling lies." Kya said to Bumi, as she continued her bending. "It's true! I once beat an Earthbender in a rock-throwing contest! I have the trophy to prove it." Bumi said to Kya. "Whatever. How does it feel now Lily?" Kya asked Lily.
Lily then wiggled her fingers. "Everything feels alright." Lily said before Airbending a puff of air. The bending caused her to close her hands into fist and pull them into her chest. "No it still hurts!" Lily said to Kya with pain in her voice. "I just don't get it? I've been using my Waterbending on you for weeks, and you should be fine?" Kya said to Lily, as she grabbed Lily's hands and started to use her healing waterbending on Lily's hands again.
"All right, who's ready for an exciting tour of the eastern air Temple? We got a lot to see today including ancient statues, ancient gardens, and the meditation hall used by ancient airbenders." Tenzin said to everyone. "Yay. old things." Ikki said with very little excitement in her voice.
It was at that moment, Korra, Dakota, and Decidueye walked into the courtyard getting everyone's attention. "Korra? Dakota? Decidueye?" Tenzin said to them. "Korra. Dakota. Decidueye." everyone said to them as the kids ran to hug them, well almost everyone. Once Lily saw Korra, she got up and ran away. "Lily I need to…" Korra said to Lily, but was interrupted by the kids hugging them. "What are you three doing here?" Pema asked them. "And how did you three know where to find us?" Kya asked them.
"Tenzin's itinerary. We went over it like a hundred times before we left Republic City." Korra said to everyone. "See? This is why schedules are important." Tenzin said to everyone. "It's so great to see you all again. But I need to talk to Lily." Korra said to everyone. "It's great to see you too, buy why aren't you training at the south pole?" Tenzin asked them.
Korra and Dakota then looked at each other for a few seconds realising that they didn't know what's going on in the world. "Wait, you don't know about the civil war?" Korra asked everyone, as she and Dakota turned back to everyone. "What? No. we've been out of touch with the outside world since we started our vacation." Tenzin said to Korra. "Tenzin's idea. What happened?" Bumi asked Korra. "So much. I don't know where to start." Korra said to Bumi.
"I do. You got to make peace with Lily, while I explain what's going on." Dakota said to Korra. "Right, good luck." Korra said to Dakota, as she left. "Why does she need to make peace with Lily?" Tenzin asked Dakota. "I'll get to that later. First let me tell you about what happened after you all left." Dakota said to everyone, before he started to tell them what's going on in the world.
Korra walked through the halls of the temple, looking for Lily, but found Lily's Pokemon instead. Upon seeing Korra, they all started to growl. "Everyone please I need to talk to Lily." Korra said to them. But they did not move. Instead they go ready to use a move on Korra. But Korra didn't move or even tried to defend herself. "Go ahead. I devier it. I hurt the people who cared about me, because of my pride. And if you all want to hurt me to protect her. Then I won't put up a fight." Korra said to them.
Korra's words surprised them, and they stopped their moves, before they could launch them. Then all the Pokemon turned to Altaria wondering what she was thinking. Altaria just looked at Korra for a few seconds, no one making a move or sounds. "Altaria." Altaria said to all the Pokemon. Then all the Pokemon moved, revealing a door behind them.
Korra then moved to the door and knocked on the door. "Lily it's me." Korra said to Lily. "GO AWAY!" Lily yelled from the other side of the door. "Lily please open up." Korra asked Lily. "Why?! So you can hurt me with another air blast?!" Lily asked Korra. "No I just want to talk to you." Korra said to Lily. "Talk? You don't talk. You attack first and ask questions later, if not ever. You only cared about yourself and you don't care about the people that you hurt." Lily said to Korra.
"I KNOW!" Korra yelled at Lily. Korra then placed her head on the door. "I know. While you were gone things got worse. Dakota, Zoey, and Lucas hated me. My uncle used me to open a portal to the spirit realm, and invaded my home. I got my parents and Dakota arrested. I started a war. And finally I ran away from everyone, after I failed to get my dad the help he needed." Korra said to Lily. Lily said nothing.
"I wanted to apologize to you before you left, but I couldn't face you. I miss you Lily, I miss the days where the two of us would sneak out to the ring to watch a match, us, Asami, and Zoey, having our girl nights, us racing against each other. I know I hurt you and I know it will take time for us to be sisters again. But please open the door." Korra said to Lily.
Thinks went silent for a few seconds before the sound of the door creaking. Then Lily walked out of the room with tears staining her face. "I missed you too." Lily said to Korra, before the two of them embraced each other in a hug that was so tight, that they thought the other one would disappear if they let go. And with their eyes closed their eyes flashed green and white for a second. Not that they noticed. They stayed like that for a minute.
"Okay let's get back to the others. I need Tenzin's help." Korra said to Lily. "Help? Help with what?" Lily asked Korra. "I'll explain everything while we walked." Korra to Lily, as they started to walk.
Korra just got thrown telling Lily about everything that happened before their meeting with Arceus, when the Sky-bison they rode on came up to the girls, and nuzzled Lily's legs. "Oh and who is this?" Lily asked Korra, trying not to fall over. "This is the Sky-bison that we came here on." Korra said to Lily. "Well it seems sweet." Lily said to Korra, as she pet the Sky-bison.
"It seems you have found your Sky-bison." A male voice said getting their attention. They turned their heads to see Tenzin and Dakota walking towards them. "What do you mean?" Lily asked Tenzin. "A young Sky-bison chooses its partner, and it seems this little one chose you." Tenzin said to Lily. "And it's all thanks to you Korra. You know when a persons sorry they bring them flowers not a Sky-bison." Lily said to Korra, making her and Korra laugh a little.
This made Tenzin and Dakota smile. "So what are you going to call this little one?" Dakota asked Lily. "Uhm. Tenzin is this Sky-bison a boy or girl?" Lily asked Tenzin. Tenzin then inspected the Sky-bison. "We have a girl here." Tenzin said to everyone. "Then I'll name here Bree." Lily said to everyone. "Bree that's a lovely name. Now what are you guys doing here?" Korra said to Lily and asked the guys. "Well Tenzin had a few questions about the Arceus part of the story." Dakota said to Korra. "The, what part?" Lily asked Korra. "Well…" Korra said to Lily.
Then Korra explained what happened with Arceus and the story that Arceus sharde with them. Needless to say Tenzin and Lily had their mind blown. "So Avatar Wan and the first lives of the Trainers imprisoned this Dark Spirit Vaatu in the Spirit World?" Tenzin asked Korra. "Yes, and now I think my uncle is trying to free him." Korra said to Tenzin. "And we have some kind of super rare bending that is bound to our souls that can make grow and bend plants?" Lily asked Korra. "Yeah, Arceus said we still have it, we just haven't been able to use it yet." Dakota said to Lily.
"I still can't believe Arceus is real. And I knew Unalaq was hungry but never realized how far he would go to get it." Tenzin said to everyone. "This is all my fault." Korra said to everyone. "No, don't blame yourself. This Unalaq doing. Now, we must focus on setting things right before he can do any more damage." Tenzin said to Korra. "And this time, we'll do it as a team." Lily said to Korra. "And we'll make Unalaq pay for what he's done." Dakota said to Korra.
"Thank you. All of you." Korra said to everyone. "So you need to close the Southern Portal, but if Unalaq's army controls the south, how are we going to get to it?" Tenzin asked Korra. "And what about the roots. After all you said that the roots around the South Pole are Lucas and Zoey roots. So don't we need their help too?" Lily asked Korra. "No, the roots were just an extra precaution. So the Avatar could not open the portal without our help. And for the plan, Korra why don't you tell them." Dakota said to Lily and Korra.
"The plan is to close the portal from the inside. Dakota, Lily and I have to enter the Spirit World." Korra said to everyone. "A journey to the spirit world. All my years of spiritual training have prepared me for this moment. I will help you. Today, we enter the Spirit world." Tenzin said to everyone. "Then let's get started." Lily said to Tenzin as they started to move.
The Southern Spirit Portal
At the Southern Spirit Portal Unalaq and his kids were standing in front of the portal. "Father, what are we doing here?" Desna asked Unalaq. "You're here to straighten out the mess you caused when you failed to capture the Avatar and the Water Trainer, and you can't seem to find the Air Trainer." Unalaq said to Desna. "I told you, it wasn't our fault." Desna said to Unalaq. "You're right. It was my fault for trusting you. Harmonic Convergence is almost upon us. This is my opportunity to change the world is not the cosmos." Unalaq said to Desna.
"We'll make it up to you, father." Eska said to Unalaq. "Good, because I'll need your help to open the Northern Portal." Unalaq said to his kids. "I thought only the Avatar could do it. After the Water and Air Trainer remove the roots covering it." Desna said to Unalaq. "I believe there is another way." Unalaq said to his kids before they entered the Spirit World.
The Spirit World
Unalaq and his kids found themselves in a land where the Wan, Gene, Layla, Jacob, and Scarlett had their battle. There the trees Gene, Layla, Jacob, and Scarlett made had grown and they had changed. The ends of Scarlett's tree branches were now letting out flames. Jacob's tree had stones infused with it. Layla's tree had winds circling around it. And Dakota's tree had water pouring out from different spots on the tree. But other than the trees the land looks just how it did 10,000 years ago.
"This way." Unalaq said to his kids, leaded the way. Soon the three of them were close enough to see a bump covered in roots near Gene and Lily's tree. "There it is: The Northern Portal." Unalaq said to his kids.
Republic City Streets
Back in Republic City Bolin was being held upside down by some large talons while screaming. "Cut! Okay, that's lunch, everyone." The director said to everyone. Then everyone left, leaving Bolin alone and hanging. "Hello? Anyone? Nuktuk's still up here, all alone." Bolin said to the empty room. Then the sound of footsteps and a squeaky wheel filled the room. Bolin then turned his head to see Asami pushing Lucas in a wheelchair. "Asami! Lucas! Hey, what are you doing here? And why is Lucas in a wheelchair?" Bolin asked them.
"Varrick invited us to watch some of the filming. As for Lucas, he's been going in and out of consciousness. He's been using too much of his energy worrying about Korra." Asami said to Bolin. "I'm fine." Lucas said as he started to stand up. Only for his legs to wiggle and made him fall back into the wheelchair. "Lucas you need to rest." Asmai said to Lucas. "And Bolin are you filming right now?" Asami asked Bolin. "Right now? Nope. we're, uh… we're at lunch." Bolin said to Asami. "Then why are you… Still up there?" Lucas asked Bolin to let out a big yawn.
Then Mako and Zoey walked into the room. "Asami, Lucas, there you are. Is Bolin around?" Mako asked Asami and Lucas. "Uh Mako?" Zoey said to Mako, as she pointed up. "Up here." Bolin said to Mako, getting Mako's attention. "Good we've got something to tell you all." Mako said to everyone, as Bolin freed himself and fell down. "Ow. I got to stop doing my own stunts." Bolin said as he got off the ground in pain, and moved to the group.
"We found out who's been stealing from Future Industries: Varrick." Mako said to everyone. "What? No." Bolin said to Mako. "He attacked his own ship?" Asami asked Mako. "Yes! It was a ploy. He wants Republic City to go to war, and he wants control of the businesses that stand to profit the most from it. He already had all the shipping, all he needed was Future Industries." Mako said to everyone.
"Varrick helped save Future industries. He's my business partner now, not an evil mastermind. Mako, you seem stressed." Asami said to Mako. "I am stressed!" Mako said to Asami. "See, this is why I had to move out." Bolin said to everyone. "You guys aren't living together anymore?" Asami asked the brothers. "Nope. It was time for this Eagle-Hawk to spread his wings and fly." Bolin said to everyone. "As a clown." Zoey said to Bolin, with an angry tune in her voice.
"Sounds like you two have had a pretty busy week. Maybe you two just need to relax." Asami said, placing a hand on Mako. Bolin then squinted at them. "Wait a minute. Are you two-" Bolin said to Mako and Asmai, before gasping. "You're dating again! What?" Bolin said to them. "What? No!" Mako said to Bolin. "That's crazy!" Asami said to Bolin. "Korra just left a week ago!" Bolin said to everyone. "And if you got your head out of this terrible move of yours. You would have known Mako and Korra broke up hard." Zoey said to Bolin.
"Everyone, listen to me. Varrick is up to no good, and we have proof. The Detonators he uses in his movers are exactly like the one we found at the cultural center attack. And those explosions were exactly like the ones the captain reported when Asami's shipment was hijacked don't you see?" Mako said to everyone. "Anyone could have gotten their hands on one of those detonators." Asami said to Mako. "Yeah. Let it go, Mako. your crazy theories are making Zoey crazy. So let it go." Bolin said to Mako.
"No! I'm not going to let it go!" Mako said to Bolin with an angry tune. "And need I remind you all that it was Varrick's plan to kidnap Unalaq. Is it really that crazy of an idea? To think that Varrick is trying to force Republic City into the war." Zoey said to everyone, with an annoyed tone in her voice. "Come on Mako let's leave." Zoey said to Mako, as she started to move. "Right behind you, partner." Mako said to Zoey as he followed her.
"They're just being paranoid, right Lucas?" Asami asked Lucas, as she turned his head to her. She then noticed Lucas was out cold. "Lucas." Asami said, shaking Lucas a little bit. "Huh what? What's going on? Who long was I out? I remember Zoey and Mako showing up, hey wait where are Mako and Zoey?" Lucas asked Asami. Asami realised he was out for the entire conversation. "Not long, and ever mind them." Asami said to Lucas.
Meanwhile with Mako and Zoey. two of Varrick guards got in their way. "Varrick's been looking for you two." One of the guards said, before taking them to see Varrick.
Eastern Air Temple
Back at the Eastern Air Temple. Tenzin led them to a meditation garden. "You're lucky. This temple is the most spiritual of all the Air Temples. Why, this very garden is where my father met Guru Pathik." Tenzin said to Korra. "Wow! Spirit world, here we come." Korra said to everyone.
A few minutes later everyone, but Pema and Rohan, and the Pokemon were in the garden, with Tenzin, Korra, Dakota, and Lily mediating, Ikki and Meelo playing their instruments, and everyone else sitting nearby and watching them. "Are you in the spirit world?" Korra asked Tenzin, cracking open her eyes. "I would be if Meelo could ring his bell. At the appropriate intervals" Tenzin said as she cracked open his eyes and looked at Meelo.
"Aww, did I do it wrong?" Meelo asked Tenzin. "Okay this isn't working." Lily said to everyone. "Let's try something else." Tenzin said as he got up and started to walk. "I thought your bell ringing was just fine." Korra said to Meelo as everyone else and the Pokemon got up. "Thanks!" Meelo said to Korra, before banging away at the bell.
The next spot they tried was on top of a face that was carved into the sides of the cliffs. With incense burning. But again it didn't work. Their meditation was broken by Tenzin coughing on the incense. "Kya, this is too much smoke. You set it up wrong. This isn't going to work." Tenzin said to Kya. "I'm sorry. I did what you told me." Kya said to Tenzin. "Well, the moment's ruined." Tenzin said to everyone, as he got up and left.
As he left Jinora looked at Korra, Dakota, and Lily, who had the bunnies flying around them in a circle. Not that anyone but Jinora noticed this. "We could have tried a little longer." Korra said as she, Dakota, and Lily got up and started to walk. With the bunnies still flying around them. Then as they all got up and walked the green bunny stopped and turned to Jinora. Then the green bunny squealed at Jinora, before heading deeper into the forest. "Come back, Furry-Foot!" Jinora said to the green bunny.
"Hey, Jinora, what are you chasing?" Kya asked Jinora. "Nothing." Jinora said to Kya before going after the others. Kya just gave Jinora a look.
The next location was a hall, full of monks from the past, with a giant statue of the airbending avatar before Aang in the middle of the room and this time it was just Tenzin, Korra, Dakota, and Lily. "Focus, Korra, Dakota, and Lily. Focus." Tenzin said to them. "We're focusing." Korra said to Tenzin. "No talking. Be silent like Dakota and Lily. feel the energy of the Universe." Tenzin said to Korra. "Okay, I feet it." Korra said to Tenzin. "Korra, really! I'm trying to concentrate here! I don't think this location is going to work either." Tenzin said to Korra as he got up.
"Okay enough Tenzin, came clean. What's wrong with you? You're getting even more frustrated every time we try something new." Lily said to Tenzin. "Yeah what's going on with you? First, you're blaming Meelo, then Kya, and now me." Korra said to Tenzin. "Well, nothing is feeling right to me." Tenzin said to Korra. "Maybe that's the problem." Dakota said as the rest of them stood up. "I don't want to rush your feelings, but we're kind of in a hurry. How did you first get into the Spirit World? Let's try that." Korra asked Tenzin.
But Tenzin said nothing. This made Korra, Lily, and Dakota look at each other. "Tenzin you have been to the Spirit World, right?" Lily asked Tenzin. "Well… Actually, I've never been into the Spirit World." Tenzin said to everyone, surprising everyone, even making everyone else and the Pokemon poke their heads out of their nearby hiding spot with a surprise look on their faces, and making Pema and Rohan show up.
"You've never been into the Spirit World?" Korra asked Tenzin. "But you used to spend days in the temple meditating." Pema said to Tenzin. "Trying to get in. it never happened. It's my greatest shortcoming as an Airbender, Spiritual leader, and son of Aang." Tenzin said to everyone, making Bumi laugh. "Welcome to the "I disappoint Dad" Club." Bumi said to Tenzin. "If you've never been to the Spirit World, how were you planning to get Korra, Lily, and Dakota into it?" Kya asked Tenzin.
"I've spent years studying the techniques and theories of Ancient Spiritual leaders. Now that the avatar needs me, it must be my time." Tenzin said to everyone. "Tenzin, Harmonic convergence is almost here. If Vaatu escapes from the spirit world-." Korra said to Tenzin, but was interrupted by Tenzin. "You have to trust me. I can help you." Tenzin said to Korra.
"Tenzin, we always trust you and look towards you for guidance, but we need to try something else. Cause if you tried a hundred ways to get in and failed every time. Then we need something new." Dakota said to Tenzin. "There might be another way." Kya said, getting everyone's attention. "Jinore, is there something you want to tell everyone?" Kya asked Jinora. "Jinora? She's too young and untrained to have any knowledge about Spiritual matters." Tenzin said to Kya.
"Actually, I think I do know where Korra, Dakota, and Lily need to go to get into the Spirit World." Jinora said to Tenzin. 'And how would you know that?" Tenzin asked Jinora. "My Spirit friends showed me. It's okay. You can show yourselves." Jinora said to everyone. Then everyone looked around, and it was at time lights flashed in the middle of them, and the bunnies with the dragonfly ears appeared in the air, in the middle of them all, making them gasp.
"How did you do that?" Tenzin asked Jinora, as looks of wonder appeared on their face "Jinora." Pema said to Jinora. "Bunnies." Meelo said to everyone. "Actually, they're Dragonfly-bunny spirits." Jinora said to Meelo. "I knew it. Looks like she does know something about spiritual matters." Kya said to Tenzin, as she placed her hands on Jinora's shoulder.
Then the dragonfly-bunnies flew out the door, with Meelo and Ikki following them. "Bunnies." Meelo said to the bunnies. "So cute. Come back!" Ikki said to the dragonfly-bunnies. Then everyone else walked outside."How long have you been able to do this?" Tenzin asked Jinora. "I don't know. I guess I've always kind of had a connection with spirits." Jinora said to Tenzin as a light blue dragonfly-bunny spirit nuzzled Bumi.
"I think this one likes me." Bumi said to everyone. "Are they here to help?" Korra asked Jinora. "I think they want you to go down there." Jinora said to Korra, as she pointed to a path that went into the forest. "I don't know. The spiritual energy is historically strongest near the temple." Tenzin said to Jinora. "No offense, but I'm guessing the Spirits have actually been to the spirit world, So I'm gonna follow them." Korra said to Tenzin. "Me too." Lily said to Tenzin. "I'm with them." Dakota said to Tenzin. "If we need to go to the Tenzin world, we'll call you." Bumi said to Tenzin, making Tenzin frown.
The Spirit World
Meanwhile in the Spirit World, Unalaq and his kids stood right in front of the roots covering the Northern Spirit Portal. "Father, haven't the spirits had 10,000 years to open this portal?" Eska asked Unalaq. "If they could not succeed, what makes you think we will?" Desna asked Unalaq. "By entering the spirit world through the portal, we bring with us something the spirits never had: Our Bending." Unalaq said to his kids, before raising a stream of water, then turned it into an ice spike and ram it into the roots. After that he fired a stream of water at the ice spike, getting the water into the roots.
"Join me! Together we can remove these roots and open this portal." Unalaq said to his kids. Then Eska and Desna both fired a stream of water at the weak point Unalaq made. They keep at this for a second. But then a blue glowing root shot out of the hole they made, and broke the ice spike and made everyone stop bending. Then the root pierced into Desna right shoulder and pinned him into the ground. "AAAAAAAH!" Desna screamed in pain. "Desna!" Eska said to Desna worried about her brother. "Leave him. Keep bending!" Unalaq said to Eska, as he got back to bending ice spikes at the roots.
And while he did make multiple spots, Eska didn't bend a stream of water to the cracks they made. Instead she went to her brother's side. When she got there the root removed itself from Desna and started to break off the ice spikes Unalaq made. Eska then looked at Desna, and while the root didn't not break anything, it did leave a big open wound that was bleeding. "He needs a healer at once!" Eska said to Unalaq. "This is more important!" Unalaq said to Eska, as he battled the root at was undoing all his work.
Eska then looked at her brother and made a choice. She grabbed her brother's left arm and wrapped around her neck. She then helped Desna up. "I'm taking him back. Eska said to Unalaq as she left with Desna. Unalaq then bended a few streams of water into a single ice spike, and met to root head on. But the root was stronger than him, and broke his ice. This made Unalaq stop bending. It was at that point the root whip Unalaq away. Making Unalaq land a good distance away from the roots. Once Unalaq was far enough away. The root bend over the top of the rest of the roots and join them. Unalaq then looked at the roots with rage.
Republic City Streets
Back in Republic City, Varricks guards lead Mako and Zoey to a room with a patch of hot coal and Varrick sitting in a chair. "I hear you two have got some ideas. You wanna tell me about them?" Varrick asked Mako and Zoey. "No. Not really." Zoey said to Varrick. "Go head torture us all you want. We're not gonna talk." Mako said to Varrick. "Torture? The only thing I want to torture is this pesky foot fungus." Varrick said to everyone, showing off his feet with patches of fungus on them.
Varrick got up and walked onto the hot coal. "Ooh! Ah! Eee! Ooh!" Varrick said as he walked over the hot coal and to Mako and Zoey. Varrick then sighed when he reached them. "The burning means it's working." Varrick said to them, before eyeing his guards to leave. "I heard you've been investigating the recent attacks on my ships, and I think you two know that I know that you two know, you know?" Varrick asked them. "Know what?" Mako asked Varrick.
"That the world is a dangerous place, and that's exactly why I want to offer you two a job on my security force." Varrick said to them. "I have a job." Mako said to Varrick. "And I have the job I've already wanted." Zoey said to Varrick. "We need you two. Me, Asami, Lucas, Bolin. We're all on the same team here. We want you two to join us. You wouldn't want anything to happen to them, would you?" Varrick asked them.
"Is that a treat?!" Zoey asked Varrick. "What no. I just heard Mako and Asami were kind of an item again. And I noticed Lucas is running on empty these days. And let's not forget about Bolin." Varrick said to Zoey. "What are you saying?" Mako asked Varrick. "I'm saying I want your help to protect them. Without you, both of you, who knows what could happen." Varrick said to them.
"Thanks for your concern, but the answer is no." Mako said to Varrick. "And were going to protect them our way." Zoey said to Varrick, as she and Mako left Varrick. Varrick said nothing and got back to walking on hot coal.
Eastern Air Temple
At the Eastern Air Temple. Korra, Tenzin, Jinora, Bumi, Kya were all on Oogi's back. Lily and Dakota were on Bree's back. And Lily's Pokemon in her Pokeball, and Decidueye was gliding in near them. "So, how does it feel having a bison?" Korra asked Lily. "It'll take some getting used to. I haven't ridden anything bigger than Altaria for most of my life." Lily said to Korra.
"You may have gotten a bison. But I have this cute little guy." Bumi said to Lily showing off the blue dragonfly-bunny. "So what are you going to name him?" Dakota asked Bumi. "I'm going to name him Bum-Ju. It's short for "Bumi, Junior". Don't you think he looks like me?" Bumi asked Dakota, holding Bum-Ju face next to him. "Well, you both do have enough facial hair." Dakota said to Bumi. This made everyone crack a smile and laugh a little.
All almost everyone. Tenzin had been frowning the entire time they had been flying. "Tenzin you okay?" Lily asked Tenzin, as she made Bree get closer to Tenzin. "I'm good." Tenzin said to Lily. "I think dad's mad at me." Jinora said to everyone. "Your father's not mad. His pride's just a little bruised since he isn't able to see spirits like you." Kya said to Jinora. "You have a natural gift. That's pretty lucky." Korra said to Jinora. "She's right." Dakota said to Jinora, as Lily flew Bree back a little.
"You're all the lucky one. You got to meet the First Avatar, and you two are the reconations of the first air and water teachers for the Avatar. I know a lot about the Avatars, I don't know anything about him, or the four people and the five creatures that were with him. Can you tell me more?" Jinora asked them.
"Well there were five of them. Avatar Wan, Water master Gene Kanto, Air master Laya Johto, Fire master Scarlett Hoenn, and Earth Master Jacob Sinnoh. They also had five Pokemon with them were Charizard, Venusaur, Meganium, Sceptile, and Torterra. They were all amazing. We saw how Wan became the first Avatar by fusing with Raava, the spirit of light." Korra said to Jinora. "The Avatar is part spirit? Of course! Just like the statues!" Jinora said to everyone.
"What statues?" Kya asked Jinora. "When we were at the Southern Air Temple, I was drawn to these old carvings hidden in a room with a symbol on the floor. I couldn't figure out what it was until now. It was the First Avatar, and the people and Pokemon connected to him." Jinora said to Kya, surprising Korra, Dakota, and Lily a little bit. "When did this happen?" Korra asked Jinora. "It was on the solstice." Jinora said to Korra. "That's the day me, Lucas, and Zoey opened the Southern Portal." Korra said to Jinora, making them both say whoa.
Then Oggi and Bree landed on the ground. "We're here!" Bumi said to everyone. Soon everyone got off Oggi and Bree leaving them and followed the dragonfly-bunnies, with Decidueye and Chandelure, who Lily let out of her Pokeball, keeping a lookout and walking behind them. "Are you sure these spirits are leading us to the right place?" Tenzin asked everyone, as he held Jinora's right hand. "Of course! I trust Bum-Ju with my life." Bumi said to everyone. "Yeah Tenzin have a little faith. I'm sure they don't want Vaatu to be free as well." Dakota said to Tenzin.
Soon they found themselves in an area that was very deep in the forest. With large rocks, covered in vines and moss. "Look. there are carvings on them." Korra said to everyone. "What is this place?" Dakota asked Tenzin. "This is an ancient airbender meditation circle." Tenzin said to everyone. "There's a lot of spiritual energy in this place, but it feels really strange." Jinora said to everyone.
"We'll have to perform a spiritual cleansing ceremony." Tenzin said to everyone. "What are you talking about?" Bumi asked Tenzin. "Dad taught it to me. This site has been neglected for many years. A cleansing ceremony will help strengthen its connection to the spirit world." Tenzin said to Bumi.
A few minutes later everyone was sitting in a mediation circle with Tenzin standing in front of an incense vase that was letting out smoke. Tenzin then airbend the incense into a circle around everyone. This made the dragonfly-bunnies flee. "Good job, you cleansed the area of the only spirits that want to help us, and you scared away Bum-Ju." Bumi said to Tenzin, as Tenzin kept airbending.
Then the ground started to shake a little. "It's working." Tenzin said to everyone as the shaking got more intense. This got everyone worried. Then they heard some rubming from the stone in the middle of them. Then the stone was sent flying as a large swarm of bark bat spirits burst out from under them. "Ah! Bats! Evil Bats!" Bumi said as they all took cover. "Not bats! Dark Spirits!" Korra said to Bumi.
Then the bats came at them. So Tenzin and Korra fired an air and water stream at them. But it did nothing. "What are we supposed to do?" Tenzin asked everyone. "Chandelure uses Shadow Ball." Lily said to Chandelure. "Chandelure." Chandelure said firing a dark ball at the bats. But all it did was disperse them, not defeat them. "Well that didn't work any other ideas?" Lily asked everyone
"I know what to do. Korra with me." Dakota said as he moved to the middle of the space. Korra then followed him. Soon the two of them were standing side by side with the Dark Bats in front of them. "Korra the key to Spirit Bending is Positive thoughts. Remember all the good times we had and it'll work." Dakota said to Korra.
Korra nodded and they started to bend streams of water. Soon all the Dark Bats were wrapped in the water streams in the shape of a ball. Then the water started to glow yellow and the bats started to turn yellow as well. Soon all the water and bats were glowing yellow. "Amazing." Kya said to everyone, as they all looked at them with wonder.
Then Korra and Dakota finished Spirit bending and let out a blind light. Then the plants on the stones started to glow back, and returned the area to the way it was if it hasn't been lost for a long time. "Your spiritual training has come a long way." Tenzin said to Korra. "Unalaq may be a horrible person, but his spirit powers are no joke." Korra said to Tenzin. "He taught you how to transform Dark Spirits. I can't even get you into the spirit world." Tenzin said to Korra.
"Everything Unalaq taught me was to help himself. Everything you've done was meant to help me. I am so sorry for turning my back on you as my mentor. I need you now more than ever." Korra said to Tenzin. "I won't let you down." Tenzin said to Korra. Then Korra hugged Tenzin. Then Tenzin noticed everyone looking at him with a smile on their faces, and a few tears in their eyes.
"The ancient Airbenders must have built this site. If we meditate here, we'll be able to enter the spirit world." Tenzin said to everyone, after he broke the hug. "Why don't you go first?" Korra asked Tenzin. "After all these years, my father's dream for me will finally come true." Tenzin said to Korra. "Then let's get started." Lily said to everyone.
Republic City Streets
In Republic City Mako and Zoey were back in Mako's apartment looking over their notes, when they heard a knock on the door. Mako moved to the door and opened it, and there was Asami. "Hi." Asmai said to Mako, as she walked in. "Did you come by to tell us how paranoid we are?" Mako asked Asami. "No. I just wanted to come by to make sure you're both okay. You both seemed so agitated earlier." Asami said to Mako.
"We're fine." Mako said to Asami. "Yeah, and where's Lucas?" Zoey asked Asami. "Back at the air temple, I have the Pokemon keeping him in bed and asleep." Asami said to Zoey. "Okay then do you mind. I'd like to get back to work." Zoey said to Asami. "Maybe you both need a night off. Mako why don't we go get some dinner? And Zoey, why don't you go have fun with your Pokemon. They haven't been out of their Pokeballs in a while." Asami said to everyone.
"No, thanks. We're a little busy." Mako said to Asami. "Yeah we're good." Zoey said to Asami. "Too busy for Kwong's cuisine? Remember? We had our first date there." Asami said to mako, placing a hand on his chest. "Maybe I do need to get my mind off things." Mako said to Asami, as he placed his hands on Asami hips. Then the two kiss. This cute moment the two were having made Zoey goan in annoyance.
Then someone banged on the door. "Oh thank Arceus. I'll get it." Zoey said as she ran to the door to open it. "Police!" Someone from the other side of the door said. This made Zoey stop right before she opened the door. Zoey then gave Mako a confused look. Then Mako walked to Zoey and opened the door, and Lin, Lu, and Gang were standing on the other side. "Hey Mako and Zoey. Hope we didn't interrupt you two lovebirds, oh and I see you have another lovebird join you two." Lu said to Mako and Zoey, as Lu and Gang entered the room
"What's going on?" Mako asked Lu and Gang. "We busted some Triple threats who said you hired them for a job." Lu said to Mako. "You two did some actual work, why don't I believe you." Zoey said to Lu, as Gang opened the closet. "All right. It is true." Mako said to Lu and Gang, as they searched the room. "We were trying to figure out who stole Asami's stuff, so we hired them for a sting operation. I'm sorry for going behind your back." Mako said to Lin. "According to the triple threats, you two did more than that. They said you two help them steal a warehouse full of Future industries property." Lin said to Mako and Zoey.
"That's crazy!" Asami said to Lin. "You're gonna believe a bunch of criminals?" Mako asked Lin. "I have to follow up on a lead." Lin said to Mako. "Oh so when it's our lead it doesn't get looked into. But when it is the two clowns Lu and Gang you do look into it." Zoey said to Lin. "Clowns who found this." Lu said as he found a bag in Mako's room. "Look Cash and these." Lu said as he pulled out a stack of money and some explosives.
"What are you doing with Explosives, Mako?" Lin asked Mako. "I don't know where this came from." Mako said to Lin. "You're under arrest." Gang said to Mako as he handcuffed Mako. "You two, after all you two are partners. So you were in on it the whole time." Lu said to Zoey as he handcuffed Zoey. "Get your donut hands off me." Zoey said to Lu, resisting a little. "None of that is mine." Mako said to Lin.
"Should've known you'd hook up with your old pals. And you decided to bring in your partner with you. One a triple threat, always a triple threat. "This has to be a mistake." Asami said to everyone. "Sorry to break the news to you, sweetie, but your boyfriend's just a crooked cop and cheated on you with his partner." Lu said to Asami. "Listen here you worthless cop. I'm not dating Mako, and you can say a lot about me. But I am not and never will be a crooked cop. The same goes for Mako. Cause if you two repset a good cop then it's no wonder this town has so many problems." Zoey said to Lu.
"Quit lying. Just admit it. That sting operation was just a way to lure Asami away from the warehouse." Lu said to Zoey. yeah you two have been using Asami the whole time." Gang said to Zoey. "That's not true, Asami. We would never do anything to hurt you. It's Varrick he set us up!" Mako said to Asami. "Yeah this is all Varrick. He paid for that lead and planted the bag. It's all him." Zoey said to Asami, as they were getting pushed out the door. "Yeah, it's Varrick's fault. Varrick." Lu said to them.
Eastern Air Temple
Back at the temple Tenzin was mediating, while everyone else was sitting around a fire. Bord Bumi poked Tenzin with a very long stick. "You in the spirit world yet?" Bumi asked Teznin. "No, I am not, and stop bugging me." Tenzin said to Bumi, airbending the stick away. "It's okay, Tenzin. Maybe you weren't meant to guide Korra into the spirit world." Kya said to Tenzin, as they all stood behind him. "No! Just give me some time." Tenzin said to Kya. "Stop being so stubborn. It's not your destiny. I think Jinora was meant to guide the Avatar." Kya said to Tenzin.
"Jinora will not enter the Spirit World!" Tenzin said as he stood up and turned to everyone. "She's not ready for the dangers of the other side, but I am. I've spent years training, studying, and mastering everything there is to know about the Spirit World." Tenzin said to everyone. "Tenzin, we're running out of time." Korra said to Tenzin. "If everyone could just be quiet and let me focus." Tenzin said to everyone.
"Tenzing we've been quiet for hours and you have had no luck. I think the problem is not us, it's you." Lily said to Tenzin. "How can it be me?" Tenzin asked Lily. "I think you might have a metal block, and that block is keeping you here in this world. But Jinora doesn't have that block, she's free, so she has to guild us." Lily said to Tenzin. "I don't have a block, and Jinoras not going." Tenzin said to Lily as he turned away from everyone.
Jinora then walked to Tenzin and grabbed his right hand. "Aunt Kya is right. I can Guide Korra, Lily and Dakota into the spirit world. I'll be all right." Jinora said to Tenzin. Tenzin then looked at everyone. "Perhaps I will never have the connection with spirits like I always wanted… like my father wanted me to have." Tenzin said to everyone. "It's okay, daddy." Jinora said to Tenzin, as she hugged him. "I'm proud of you." Tenzin said to Jinora, petting her head.
"Go. Close the portal. We'll wait here and keep your bodies safe until you return." Tenzin said to Korra, Dakota, and Lily. "We'll be all right." Korra said to Tenzin.
Then Jinora, Korra, Dakota, and Lily got into a square shape, with Decidueye and Chandelure sitting behind Dakota and Lily. All six of them had their eyes closed. Then Korra, Lily, and Dakota open their eyes with Korra's eye glowing white, and Dakota and Lily's eyes glowing green. Then the world around them started to warp.
The Spirit World
When the warp was done, they found themselves in a field of grass and flowers, with giant lily pads for trees. "The Spirit World." Korra said as they all took it all in. "Ah girls we have company." Dakota said to everyone, making them turn around. They then saw Decidueye and Chandelure standing behind them. "What is Decidueye and Chandelure here?" Korra asked everyone. "I don't know?" Lily, Dakota, and Jinora said to Korra at the same time.
Meanwhile at the Spirit Portals Unalaq stood in front of Vaatu's prison. "The Avatar and Water trainer are dead, and we cannot open the Northern Portal. I have failed you, Vaatu." Unalaq said to Vaatu. "You have not failed me… yet. The Avatar and the Water Trainer still lives." Vaatu said to Unalaq. "How do you know?" Unalaq asked Vaatu. "Even though my connection to Raava was severed, I can still feel her presence. Even the little part of her inside the trainers." Vaatu said to Unalaq.
"I'll find them." Unalaq said to Vaatu. "The Avatar and the Trainers will find you. They have just entered the Spirit world, along with the Air Trainer." Vaatu said to Unalaq.
