Chapter 25 - Arriving back again at Hollow Bastion
(Stardash Ship – Cockpit)
Sora talked through the monitor on the control center. "The King, Riku and now I've lost Kairi again, too."
"Don't look so sad, Sora. We can still find them." Yoshi replied.
"Yoshi's right. Me and you were the Keyblade wielders which led us set on the different paths. We still save the other worlds." Taiyo told him.
"I wish we can see the King, Kairi and Riku again." Sora sighed.
"It wasn't always we messed up. What comes next is to help anyone who pleaded their help on our course, right?" Votus replied.
"You said it!" Donald said.
"Thanks, Votus. You remind me of Riku." Sora smiled.
"Well, how about you will be talked about him with us when we find him?" Utopia suggested.
"Hey guys, look!" Luigi called out the others and pointed at the window outside.
The group quickly noticed that Hollow Bastion was covered in darkness.
"What's happening to the Hollow Bastion?" Mario asked.
Chip and Dale bring out the screen next to Sora's.
"Oh no! Hollow Bastion! It's all covered in darkness!" Chip exclaimed.
"You're right, Chipper! I wonder what's goin' on." Dale said.
"Sora! Taiyo! We better hurry and check it right away!" Chip replied.
"We're on our way." Taiyo responded.
"I just hope Maxie and Sylvia were doing okay." Goofy said, felt concerned.
"They will be fine, they stayed with the others." Donald murmured.
Then something came into the control system and the message is heard.
"Taiyo, listen to me carefully. I need you to go to the Hollow Bastion and had something else to tell you something worst is happening. I'm on my way with my newest recruits on my team."
"Who was that?" Sora asked.
"Sounds like someone knew my name." Taiyo implied. "We had to go to the Hollow Bastion."
"Whatever the trouble is in the Hollow Bastion, things are happening." Mario said.
(Ocean Between)
The Stardash and Gummi Ships were heading towards the Hollow Bastion and they are about to enter into the world to find out what was the cause of the darkness.
(Hollow Bastion – Marketplace)
Taiyo, Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Geno, Votus, and Utopia arrived at the staircase leading down to the Marketplace, having teleported from the Stardash Ship. Sora, Donald, and Goofy teleported down from their Gummi Ship and appeared next to Taiyo and his team.
As the heroes arrive, a group of Soldier Heartless ascended from the stairs leading into town and vanish from them, much to their surprise.
"Talk about a surprise visit from those Heartless." Yoshi said.
"I'll say." Geno added.
"Look likes there are more Heartless now." Taiyo replied.
A few Dusks float above the stairs and flew off over the side, surprising the group again.
"And Nobodies as well." Luigi spoked.
"Let's go check in with everyone." Sora said.
The group head down into the Marketplace and move on towards the Borough. Along the way, they see a yellow spiky-headed man named Cloud leaning against the wall next to Scrooge's ice cream shop.
Cloud is dressed in his Final Fantasy VII Advent Children attire; his hair also has changed to reflect his movie counterpart's, still retain his blue eyes. He wields his Fusion Swords from Advent Children as well, though it is bandaged like the Buster Sword. The lines between the six separate swords look less distinct like the lines were simply engraved on the blade.
"Cloud!" Sora exclaimed.
"A friend of yours, Sora?" Yoshi asked.
"Something like that." Sora answered.
"We fought him a while ago back in the Olympus Coliseum." Goofy explained.
Cloud looked over at Sora, Donald, and Goofy as Mario walked towards him.
"Cloud, it's been a long while since we met." Mario smiled.
"It's good to see you again, Mario. I started to believe our paths may crossed again." Cloud nodded in response.
"You met him?" Sora asked.
"The same place you fought him. I just pay a visit to fight him." Mario answered.
"Gosh, when did Mario get here in the coliseum?" Goofy asked.
Then Cloud looked over at Taiyo, Luigi, Yoshi, Geno, Votus, and Utopia.
"Friends of yours?" Cloud asked.
"Yeah." Sora replied, walking over to Taiyo and placed his hand on his right shoulder. "This is my best friend, Taiyo."
Luigi, Yoshi, Geno, Votus, and Utopia walked to Cloud.
"Hi, Cloud. I am Luigi, Mario's brother. This is Yoshi, Geno, Utopia and Votus." Luigi said, gesturing over to the others.
"They're our greatest friends too." Sora said.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Cloud." Utopia replied as Cloud nodded.
"Whatcha doing?" Donald asked.
"I'll get him. This time, we'll settle it. Me, and the one who embodies all the darkness in me." Cloud said.
"I thought you looked kinda different, Cloud." Donald replied.
"If I do, it's his fault." Cloud responded.
"Whose fault? Who are you talking about?" Yoshi asked.
"Sephiroth." Cloud answered. "Tell me if you see him."
Mario cringed in shock as Taiyo noticed him. "What's wrong, Mario?"
"Cloud told me about Sephiroth. His darkness powers were limitless, he is powerful." Mario answered, making the group shocked.
"That's bad." Goofy gasped.
"Well, what's he looks like?" Votus asked.
"Silver hair. Carries a long sword." Cloud replied.
"Sure, we'll keep an eye out for him." Taiyo said.
"Well, we gotta get going. We'll be seeing you, Cloud." Sora murmured.
"Be careful. He messes with your head; makes you think darkness is the only way." Cloud warned.
Upon hearing that, Taiyo and his friends felt concerned about this Sephiroth and that what Mario told them about his powers were stronger than the others.
"Does he compare to the others that were stronger?" Taiyo asked.
"Maybe. Just stay caution of him." Cloud answered.
"Is something wrong?" A female voice asked, revealing to be Aerith, and walked towards Cloud, catching his attention.
"It's nothing." Cloud replied.
Aerith leans closer to him."Hm?"
"I don't want you to get involved." Cloud said.
"You mean you don't want me there when you go away again?" Aerith asked.
"I just...listen, even if I go far away, I'll come back." Cloud murmured.
"Do you mean it?" Aerith asked.
"Yeah." Cloud said.
"See? You don't look so sure. Well, okay, I understand. Go. Get things settled." Aerith responded.
"Huh?" Cloud wondered.
"No matter how far away you are...once you find your light...I'm sure it will lead you back here again. Right?" Aerith explained.
"I suppose." Cloud said, slightly doubted.
"So, I'll stay here and I'll cheer for you." Aerith replied
Cloud headed out and walked off from them.
"I wonder if he'll be okay." Aerith said, concerned for Cloud.
"He'll be fine. I'm sure there's some light in him somewhere." Sora persuaded.
"You're right." Aerith affirmed.
"C'mon. We need to head over to Merlin's house." Taiyo replied.
"Checking on Max and Sylvia." Goofy added.
The group headed off into the Borough.
(Hollow Bastion – Borough)
Once they have stepped into the borough, the heroes noticed Max who was leaning against the wall and he's been exhausted after the fight.
"Max!" Goofy cried, running over to his son. "Are you okay, son?"
"Fine. I'm just so tired, it's like I never break a sweat." Max replied.
Goofy sighed in relief. "I thought I started to get worried about you. And I'm glad you're safe."
"Don't worry about me." Max responded with a slight grunt in pain. "Little bruise."
"Where's Sylvia?" Goofy asked. "Is she okay too?"
"She's alright. She was in Merlin's house." Max answered, pointing at the house.
"We probably need to check on Cid, maybe he had something to tell us." Sora replied.
"Yeah, Sora. Why don't we ask him so we know what's going on?" Donald asked.
The team went over to Merlin's house. Further away from the house, Mesogog appeared on top of the wall from the dark portal as he inhaled the breath in his nose.
"I can smell their scents which they are the two Keyblade wielders and one of them is the Keyblade Ranger, sharing the same energy source that connected to the Universal Morphing Grid." Mesogog said, sighing in cold satisfaction.
(Merlin's House)
They went into the house to see Cid who was still typing on the computer with Yuffie and Sylvia standing next to him.
"We're back!" Luigi said.
Cid, Yuffie, and Sylvia turned to face the heroes.
"Goofy!" Sylvia surprised as she rushed to his future toon dog husband and hugged him.
"Hiya, Sylvia." Goofy replied. "You looked okay."
"Hey, fellas. You're just in time. Sylvia and I were doing some research in the data about the Heartless and Nobodies, there will be a clue." Cid informed.
"You're back at last. How was for the others? Are they giving you the hard time?" Sylvia asked.
"No, dear, it's alright. I can always travel with them and saved everyone from many disasters. And I can fight wherever the villains have committed the evil deeds." Goofy said.
Touched by his words, Sylvia expressed her soft feelings to him. "Oh, Goofy. You are so brave knight."
Sylvia gave a smooch on him and pulled away from him as Goofy chuckled and had a blush on his cheeks.
"Heh, Goofy. That was really something you said to her. Are you often just need to spend some time with her?" Sora asked.
"And how about we find the King and Riku so you two can spend in the honeymoon?" Donald teased.
"Well, if Goofy finished his important mission with Sora and Donald, I want someone to book the wedding for me and him." Sylvia said.
"Yeah, I kinda missed Daisy when I made a promise to her. I hope she never get mad at me again." Donald reminded nervously.
"And I was very appreciated I have a Mom in my family." Max smiled.
"I had the same name from her which is Princess Daisy since Donald is dating with Daisy so I decided to change her name, I would choose 'Diana' instead of Daisy or it will get confused of us." Luigi said.
"Were you send a letter for Diana?" Mario asked.
"Yep, I did." Luigi nodded.
"You got any news in here?" Taiyo asked.
"Yep, I got some good news for ya, so get yourselves over to Leon's." Cid said.
"What kind of news?" Votus asked.
"We found the computer Ansem was using!" Yuffie answered them.
"Really?" Mario asked. "That's great! Perhaps it would help us to know a lot more about all kinds of information we want."
"That's right, Mario. Should be able to get all kinds of info on the Heartless and the Organization." Cid spoke boldly.
"And maybe something on the dark realm, too? It looks like that's where Riku and Kairi are." Sora said.
"And the King." Donald concurred.
"Or they could be something else like we are going to find out about the imposter with the name of Ansem." Taiyo replied.
"Go see for yourselves!" Cid said.
"It can't hurt!" Yuffie responded.
"What do you mean?" Donald asked.
"Nothin'. Just get to the computer room through the castle postern. Watch your step!" Cid said.
"Cid's right. You guys must be careful out there, the Heartless and Nobodies weren't always friendly to each other." Sylvia said.
"Like one fight after another. They probably finished each other off." Max replied.
"Guess, you're right, Maxie." Goofy said. "Stay here with them."
"I can protect Max while Sylvia and Cid were working on the data for a while. Head over to the postern." Yuffie told them.
"Alright, we will get back once we found the Ansem's computer." Taiyo responded.
The group headed out from Merlin's house and walked to the Bailey.
(Hollow Bastion – Bailey)
On their way through the Bailey, they suddenly hear a voice speaking out to them.
"Excuse me, are you with the Restoration Committee?" A female voice asked.
The team stop and turned around, reacting to the voice as Votus asked. "Who said that?"
"You ask us about we are the members of the Restoration Committee. But where are you?" Geno asked.
They looked around but didn't see anyone. Suddenly, three small fairies named, Yuna, Rikku, and Paine appeared in front of the group.
Yuna, Rikku, and Paine were the Gullwings, the group of treasure-hunting fairies.
Yuna originally had hot pants and her top was more revealing and the symbol on it—a tribute to Tidus—was larger, likely because the symbol held together with the shirt from a large V-necked gap, and the gap was sized down, and the symbol with it. Rikku wore a bikini top and had no stockings, and although it is changed to a tank top with visible shoulder straps, her midriff and navel are still clearly exposed. Paine now wears a tank top with visible shoulder straps and her boots no longer have high heels. Minor changes to her stockings and shawl were made as well. Also, the three fairies each have wings that are unique to them. Yuna has a hair clip resembling bird wings, Rikku's wings are the long, loose ends of her scarf, and Paine has black, bat-like wings.
"What's Leon's gang up to?" Yuna asked.
"They've got stuff to do over by the castle postern. We were heading over to check it out." Taiyo answered.
"Scoop!" Rikku exclaimed.
"Let's report." Paine urged.
"To who?" Yoshi asked.
"Our leader, of course!" Yuna answered.
"Yeah, you know, Malefi-" Rikku tried to spoke.
Paine quickly covered Rikku's mouth, making Taiyo, Sora, Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Geno, Utopia, Votus, Donald, and Goofy look on with suspicious and confused looks on their faces but they heard Rikku muffling noises.
"Don't mind her. I assure you, we come in peace." Paine assured.
Rikku nodded her head in agreement, still covered with Paine's hand still over her mouth.
"You're kidding..." Yuna sighed.
"Problem?" Paine replied.
Paine was letting go of Rikku. "Okay, fine. You do the talking."
Paine crosses her arms and disappears from her in the flash of light and sparkles. Yuna turned around to the group and bowed.
"So sorry about this!" Yuna murmured.
"Wait, hold on a minute. Who are you girls? The faeries?" Utopia asked.
"Yeah, I'm Yuna. My two friends named Paine and Rikku. Can't talk about right now, bye-bye!" Yuna embarrassed, waving her hand at the group.
After saying that, Yuna disappeared and Rikku posed happily and vanished as well.
"What was that all about?" Taiyo asked.
"Yeah. What gives?" Sora questioned.
Sora and Taiyo turned around and looked toward their friends who were shrugging. They were just as clueless as both were except for Geno.
"Never mind. We better get going to the postern." Geno replied.
(Hollow Bastion – Restoration Site)
Taiyo, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Geno, Votus, and Utopia ventured through the ledges that shared the comparison of the Rising Falls. On their way, Taiyo is explaining to Sora, Donald, and Goofy about the few worlds where he found each of the Star Spirits. The three travelers were amazed about the new worlds and the other heroes.
"Whoa! I had never been in Kauai, Transylvanian World and Mobius. I would love to go someplace when this is over." Sora murmured.
"Gawrsh! You had so many friends in Mobius." Goofy replied.
"Yeah. Mario Brothers told us about Sonic and his team, they are the best allies!" Donald remarked.
"And not to mention that Detective Holmes was the powerful sorcerer compare to many different allies." Yoshi said.
"Hey! I was the only mage who mastered all sorts of magic from Disney Castle." Donald retorted with a smirk.
"Like my Mom. She still looked up to me." Taiyo said.
"You had a mom?" Sora surprised.
"Can you tell us who she is?" Goofy asked.
"Rosalina. She is powerful sorceress and the Keyblade Master." Mario answered, giving Sora, Donald and Goofy awed in surprise.
"Oh gwarsh! Didn't you know that Rosalina actually had a son. Taiyo was the Keyblade wielder!" Goofy said.
"Wow! You are really that cooler than me!" Sora exclaimed.
Then all of the sudden, Mesogog dropped himself from the cliff as he landed in front of them which caught their surprise attention.
"Not cool enough, Keyblade Sun Ranger." Mesogog replied, inhaling himself deeply.
"Gwarsh! What is that?" Goofy alarmed, pulling out his Knight Shield before turning back to the group. "Guys?"
"It's Mesogog. The evil tyranny dino-mutant and Dino Thunder Rangers' nemesis." Geno replied.
"Well, do you want with us?" Sora questioned.
"I joined the evil forces other than Organization XIII. I am here for Taiyo. He is the one I want. He had his morpher just like all the other Rangers. I want him suffering and took all the Morphing Grid's energy that I need to modify the army of Chitablins." Mesogog replied.
"Oh great! We're about to face the powerful enemy of the Dino Thunder Rangers." Utopia said.
"Yeah, just like Snide trying to destroy us all! We can take him down together." Taiyo replied.
"Right." Sora nodded. "Donald. Goofy. Are we ready to fight?"
Donald and Goofy felt scared as they backed away from the group.
"No way!" Both of them said at the same time.
"Guys!" Sora urged.
"Luigi. Yoshi. Utopia. Can you guys handle this?" Taiyo asked Luigi, Yoshi, and Utopia.
Luigi, Yoshi, and Utopia did the same thing as Donald and Goofy and joined them.
"We refuse!" The heroes yelled in unison, shook their heads.
"What wrong with you guys? You don't want to battle?" Votus asked.
Mesogog intensely grew his cold satisfaction on his face.
"Is that all? Just the few of you want to fight me?" Mesogog asked.
"Well, yeah. They might fear you. Just give me a minute." Sora replied.
"My patience is thin. Few of your allies aren't enough to defeat me. The fear is their weakness so that why the others can't fight me." Mesogog replied.
"You better not to mess with our heads. We were only stand up to you." Mario replied.
"Oh, really? How about we find out?" Mesogog sneered.
Taiyo, Sora, Mario, Geno, and Votus were prepared themselves to fight Mesogog and four wielders summoned their Keyblades.
"We got to be careful. Mesogog become stronger, comparing to Snide." Geno firmed.
Votus charged forward at Mesogog but before he swung the Keyblade, the dino-mutant caught its blade and thrown an impact punch into his gut, sending him off to the ground.
"Votus!" Taiyo cried.
Votus gets up from the ground as he tossed the Shield of Fellowship at Mesogog, only for him to dodge it and the shield went back to Votus. Mesogog used his psionic abilities to attack Votus, making his first move called Psionic Brain Blast and hurting his head.
Votus grunted in pain, held his head and kneeled on the ground, got himself stunned.
"Stop this!" Mario replied, rushing towards him with the Sliding Dash to collide Mesogog.
Mesogog makes a sweeping kick to knock Mario off the ground as Geno is firing the Laser Vision at him which made him knocked away, but he skidded against on the ground to a halt.
Taiyo and Sora were quickly dashed at him, striking Mesogog but he is too fast to avoid many slashes and grabbed both wielders to slam them on the ground repeatedly.
"Mesozonic Rage!" Mesogog yelled, unleashing the three strikes of a flurry at Sora and Taiyo, sending them across the ground.
Mario was firing the fireballs at Mesogog as the evil dino mutant slashed his claws to counteract the blasts while Geno launched his fists at him and successfully hit right to his face and chest. Mario proceeded to attack him before he launched the Fire Strike and giving Mesogog impact, causing him to step back further.
"Let's go get him!" Votus commanded as he, Taiyo, Mario, Sora, and Geno ran towards him.
"Enough of this!" Mesogog snarled. "Meso Flash!"
He utilized himself into a blurring speed, assaulting each of them with powerful counterstrikes, and finished Taiyo off by delivering a powerful kick onto his stomach which send him to the wall and slid down onto the ground.
"They're all got themselves beaten!" Donald said.
"We had to stop him!" Luigi urged. "I can't let him hurt Taiyo."
"How? He's just too powerful." Yoshi argued.
"There's must be a way to beat that dinosaur freak." Goofy replied, feeling a little terrified.
Mesogog grabbed Taiyo by his vest as he readied his claw to finish him off.
"You're ready for your demise, young Keyblade Ranger?" Mesogog questioned.
Taiyo grunted in pain. "Take my morpher and leave my friends alone."
"No! Don't give it to him!" Mario shouted.
"Don't do it, Taiyo!" Sora yelled.
Mesogog smirked in response. "Do you have a choice?"
Before he answered to the evil mastermind of Dino Thunder Rangers, the plasma lasers shot against his back and stumbling back to the ground.
"Huh? Who was that?" Sora asked.
Donald turned his head up and spotted the five familiar figures on top of the ledge. "Look up there!"
The group followed Donald's gaze and saw the other team. It turned out that one of them was Chopsuey who held one of his plasma blasters along with Sean, Blanca, Verta, Trug, and Yixato.
"Hey, there's more of them!" Sora excited. "Who are they?"
Yixato, Sean, Blanca, Verta, Chopsuey, and Trug jumped off the cliff and landed behind the group.
"Good to see you're here." Yixato spoke to him.
Mesogog growled at them. "You again!"
"You could have killed us with your psionic powers!" Verta replied.
"And it could let me destroy all of you!" Mesogog barked.
Mesogog rushed towards them as Trug stretched his arms to form the long roots and restrained him.
Yixato summoned his Warrior's Key which caught Sora, Donald, and Goofy in surprise.
"No way!" Donald exclaimed.
"He has the Keyblade too?! It looks the same as Taiyo has!" Sora replied.
"Blanca, Verta. Twirl Snake Twins' Attack!" Yixato said.
"You got it." Blanca affirmed.
Blanca and Verta transformed their Half-Snake forms and doing their twirl twin attack, bursting him out of the roots. Chopsuey brought the alien tech rocket weapon and fired the five mini-missiles at Mesogog in the midair, knocking against on the ground.
Sean and Yixato jumped up and slammed their fists down onto him as Mesogog dodged them and kicked Sean when he counterattacked him. Yixato slashed rapidly at Mesogog with his Warrior's Key, earning him a painful grunt, and lifted his right leg to kick him in the chest. Mesogog sends himself back to the ground and thudded.
"Have enough?" Sean asked.
Mesogog gets up from the ground and glared at another team as Taiyo, Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Geno, Utopia, Votus, Sora, Donald, and Goofy joined them.
"This won't be a first fight you have won; another time will be mine to win!" Mesogog yelled, scoffing before he jumped higher to the ledge and ran off in haste.
"He's got away again!" Chopsuey sighed.
"I am Trug." Trug replied.
"Yeah, we will find him." Chopsuey agreed.
Yixato turned around to see Taiyo. "Glad you got my message."
"So it was you who brought us here." Taiyo replied. "Are you Yixato?"
"That's correct. I already set my members of my team." Yixato said, gesturing to his teammates. "And you barely recognized them."
"Taiyo, do you know them?" Sora asked.
"I have met them before." Taiyo answered.
"It's good to see you again, guys." Chopsuey smiled.
"Chopsuey, Trug. You two were joining him?" Mario asked.
"Yeah, he particularly hired us for the part of his crew." Chopsuey said. "And these are your friends?"
"Yes. Sora is the one I've been looking for and I found him." Taiyo said.
"My name is Sora." Sora replied.
"Donald Duck." Donald introduced himself.
"I'm Goofy." Goofy said.
"I am Trug." Trug greeted Sora, Donald, and Goofy.
"And that was your name?" Sora asked as Trug nodded in response.
"Don't mind him. He wasn't fully speaking his English vocabulary." Yixato replied.
"It's great to meet you, Sora, the Keyblade wielder." Blanca spoke to Sora and gestured with Verta. "I am Xiao Bai and this is Xiao Qing, my younger sister."
"Xiao Bai? Xiao Qing?" Donald asked.
"It was their Chinese names which are translated as Little White and Little Green." Geno responded.
Sora chuckled in amusement. "Oh, like the Chinese nicknames."
"It is sound little offended, just call us Blanca and Verta. I suggest you use them." Verta suggested.
"Okay, I stick with your names. Fair enough." Sora said.
"By the way, I am Sean Xu. I was turned out to be reincarnated from Xu Xian and Ah Xuan." Sean replied.
"Huh? You kinda confused me here." Sora dumbfounded.
"There would be another time to explain the important things than that." Taiyo dismissed and turned to Yixato. "Yixato, what's happening here?"
"Mesogog was revived by Xigbar, one of the members in Organization XIII. He is more powerful than ever. The Super Reanimator is already taken and is going to be used to resurrect all the villains." Yixato replied, bringing shock to the group.
"What?!" Taiyo shocked.
"No way!" Goofy shouted.
"Can't be." Utopia murmured.
"That why we need your help to defeat the Organization XIII and other evil forces including Mesogog. We can't let them do their dirty work." Yixato said.
"It is still not enough for us to beat him. We need something that can help us." Blanca replied.
"Maybe the Ansem's computer knows how. It's got to be something to defeat him." Sora responded.
"You're right. That we want to find out, it could be a weapon." Chopsuey nodded.
"I am Trug." Trug said.
"Let's get going to the postern." Mario replied.
Sora and Taiyo's two groups were heading off as Yixato, Blanca, Verta, Sean, Chopsuey, and Trug followed them.
"I don't know how it will help us defeat the dino freak." Sean replied.
"Maybe we give it a shot with this." Verta spoked.
"Well, I thought about it. We need them to defeat Mesogog when he's around." Yixato replied.
(Hollow Bastion – Postern)
They walked over to the area where the ruined Hollow Bastion was since Sora defeated Maleficent.
"Isn't that Hollow Bastion?" Luigi asked.
"That's right. This is where I fight Maleficent and... Riku." Sora answered before he turned in dismay.
"What's wrong?" Taiyo asked.
"I sensed his expression was turned guilty and sad." Geno replied.
"What do you mean?" Blanca questioned.
"Riku was turning himself bad when he was possessed by Ansem, the Seeker of Darkness." Donald answered.
"Yeah. Sora told us what happened." Goofy added.
"I see. We both knew the Seeker of Darkness who was trying to take over the Realm of Light. Does anything else you want to say?" Taiyo asked.
"No. We worried about later." Sora replied.
The group then saw Aerith who was waiting for them. "Over here!"
The group walked over and approached Aerith who noticed Yixato and his new crew.
"Oh, I see you brought Yixato and his friends here." Aerith said. "He told me about himself and the others."
"You guys found Ansem's computer?" Sora asked.
"Uh-huh. The King is very interested in it." Aerith replied.
"The King?" Taiyo asked.
"He's with Leon." Aerith answered.
"We get to see the King!" Donald said.
"Hooray!" Goofy cheered.
"Is Riku with them?" Sora asked.
Aerith is shaking her head 'no' as Sora sighed. But Taiyo encouraged him.
"He is still out there anywhere. I'm sure he will find us."
"Well, at least we can ask the King about him. And that computer might be able to tell us something." Sora replied.
"Good idea! They're right through there." Aerith murmured.
The group looks over to a nearby doorway that led into the castle.
"A secret passage! We can go right in there." Yoshi spoked.
The group headed down to the doorway.
(Hollow Bastion – Corridors)
They walked through the corridors of the castle. Unknown to them, a small blue alien creature named Stitch crawled along with the ceiling, but Chopsuey perked his left ear and looked up to see nothing, sensing something familiar that followed the group.
"Is something wrong with you?" Sean asked.
"Nope. It's nothing." Chopsuey said.
"So, what special about those two girls?" Sora asked.
"They are the Snake Demons." Mario replied. "But they weren't bad as the others."
"That's ridiculous! They do look like humans. But how about you can tell me more about later, okay?" Sora said.
The heroes headed through a door and entered Ansem's Study.
(Hollow Bastion – Ansem's Study)
They looked around and saw bookshelves, pictures up along the walls, a throne chair, and a desk in the middle of the room. Then, they look upon a large portrait of Ansem hanging on the wall.
"Ansem..." Sora murmured.
"So that's him?" Taiyo asked.
"He was the one who was really behind the Heartless, but we defeated him." Sora explained.
"Maybe I bet that imposter took a name from his master." Mario glared. "Ansem the Wise was not the fool."
"Huh?" Sora confused. "What are you saying?"
"Gawrsh, I guess this must be his room." Goofy replied, looking around.
"Where's the King?" Donald asked.
"Hey, you!" A female voice called.
Taiyo, Sora, Yixato, and the gang turn around and see Tifa standing at the door.
Tifa is Cloud's childhood friend from Midgar. She has long—roughly waist-length brown hair that is tucked behind her ear on the left side, showing that she has a sliver, teardrop-shaped earring. Her eyes are rust-colored and she seems to wear pink lipstick. She wears a black, leather tank top with a zipper down the front overtop a slightly longer, white tank top (much like her original shirt in Final Fantasy VII). Tifa also wears a black, leather skort with two black ribbons tied on either leg. The back of this skort is quite long and reaches the floor. She also wears black, leather gloves and black and white shoes, with black ribbons tied around each.
"Who are you?" Blanca asked.
"Tifa Lockhart. I'm looking for somebody. Have any of you seen a guy with spiky hair?" Tifa asked.
Sora pulled one of his spiky hairs as Tifa giggled before she correctly responded. "Spikier."
"I think she means Cloud." Votus replied.
"Yeah, he's the guy I'm looking for." Tifa said.
"Sorry, you missed him. He's just come around sometimes." Mario expressed.
"Oh, right. I'll just take a look around if you don't mind." Tifa replied.
"Don't mind at all, just don't break anything." Yixato said.
Tifa walked around the room, knocking on the walls, looking under the desk, and inspecting the books. She kicked one of the walls hard with her foot. The group was amazed at how strong she was.
"That girl is tough to hit the wall." Utopia amazed.
"Hmm, she's a bit show-off if you tell me." Verta scoffed.
"Sorry to bother you." Tifa responded before she left the room
"So you made it." A male voice called.
Taiyo, Sora, and the companions turned around and see Leon leaning against the wall.
"Leon!" Taiyo exclaimed as Leon nodded his head.
"Isn't the King with you?" Sora asked.
Leon holds a finger up to his lips, telling the group to keep quiet.
"He's right. Mickey doesn't want to attract the enemies to find him." Geno replied.
"You'll see him soon enough. Here, this ought to tide you over." Leon said.
Leon pressed a secret part of the wall and the wall disappeared, surprising the group. "Ansem's computer room."
(Ansem's Study – Computer Room)
Sora, Taiyo, and the gang enter the room, and they come across a computer. Sora ran up to the large keyboard.
"This is it! Where's Kairi? Where's Riku?" Sora replied.
Sora starts pressing buttons gently at first, then presses harder.
"Easy...You wanna break it?" Leon said.
"Oh, sorry. Guess I got a little carried away." Sora replied.
"You shouldn't be so hasty, Sora." Taiyo told him before he gently pushed him out of the way. "Let me do something first."
As Taiyo was typing on the keyboard to search for something to defeat Mesogog, Stitch crawled up the wall and onto the ceiling. Goofy and Chopsuey looked up to the ceiling and sees Stitch above them.
"Whoa!" Goofy exclaimed.
"Stitch?!" Chopsuey surprised.
Stitch loses his grip on the ceiling and fell onto the keyboard.
"Get offa there!" Donald shouted.
Donald jumps onto the keyboard to get Stitch, but he jumped over Donald, but Chopsuey grabbed his cousin.
"That's enough of playing around!" Chopsuey replied.
"Chopsuey?" Stitch asked.
"You know this thing?" Leon asked.
"He's my cousin, the experiment same as me. We were created by Jumba." Chopsuey answered.
"Bye-bye, cousin." Stitch said before he scurried off from the computer room.
"Hey, come back here!" Chopsuey yelled as he ran after him.
"Chopsuey, wait!" Sean called out.
"Forget about him. Just let him go after Stitch to calm him down." Yixato replied.
Donald scoffed at Yixato. "Your pal is nothing but trouble."
He turned around with an angry huff and accidentally slammed on the buttons, and an alarm sounds, startling him and everyone in the room.
"Attention current user. This is a warning. Further misuse of this terminal will result in immediate defensive action."
"Who's there?" Sora asked.
"I am the Master Control Program. I oversee this system."
Donald presses another button with his foot and the alarm sounds again.
"Donald!" Sora, Taiyo, and the companions scolded together.
"I'm sorry..." Donald said sheepishly.
"Decision gate reached. You are now under arrest."
"Arrest?!" Sora shocked.
Donald is stuck standing on one foot, so Goofy picked him up off the computer. Leon noticed that the power system behind them has started to glow.
"Run!" Leon shouted.
"Get away from that machine!" Yixato urged.
Sora, Donald, and Goofy look over to their friends, then to the power system. Before they could react, the system shoots out beams of light and confines the trio into grids.
Taiyo and others saw what is about to happen as the three of them were digitally written into the computer by the beam scanner.
"No!" Taiyo shouted.
Leon rushed over to the keyboard.
"Is there any way to get them back?" Luigi asked.
"I'll try and find a way." Leon replied.
Leon notices something on the monitor. "Look."
Taiyo, Yixato, and their friends looked at the monitor to see Sora, Donald, and Goofy captured by Heartless.
"Sora!" Donald yelled.
Donald and Goofy were covered in circuit patterns all over the bodies just like Sora's and being held captive by Strafer Heartless.
"Go on. Show 'em who's boss!" Sora boasted.
Sora turned around and saw a man named Commander Sark standing behind him.
"Who are you?" Sora asked.
"I am Commander Sark." Sark answered.
"A Heartless commander?" Sora confused.
"Observe." Sark replied.
Sark presses a button on his data emitter which makes Donald and Goofy shocked with data.
"OK, you're the boss! I got it." Sora replied.
Taiyo, Yixato, Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Geno, Utopia, Votus, Blanca, Verta, and Trug were worried to see Sora, Donald, and Goofy were led to the Pit Cell.
"Sora! Donald! Goofy! Guys?! Can you hear me?!" Taiyo rushed towards the computer and typing on the keyboard. "It won't work! I'm going to get you guys out of there."
"We must bring them back!" Mario alerted.
"Move away." Leon told the Keyblade wielder to stand aside and typing on the keyboard again to gain access to the power system, but then a message pops up on the screen.
"Access Denied."
"What?!" Taiyo shocked. "It won't let them out?!"
"Our access to the Power system has been cut off." Leon replied.
"Can you try the way to get them back?" Blanca asked.
"There's nothing we can do. All we can do now is wait." Leon murmured.
"For what? We can't stand around here and do nothing! First, Mesogog and now all of this?" Verta scoffed.
"Hey, you gotta chill out, Verta. Mesogog is still out there, we can't let him hurt the others." Yixato replied.
"So now what?" Sean asked.
"I am Trug." Trug sighed.
Taiyo and others were completely helpless and they knew they can't give up. Taiyo doesn't want Sora, Donald, and Goofy to get stuck in the computer and unable to do anything to get them out.
Taiyo walked right into the computer and slammed his fist onto the keyboard in frustration. Then suddenly, the second monitor appeared behind the computer and was brought up online automatically.
"Taiyo, did you just hit the button?" Luigi asked.
"I think I did." Taiyo replied.
The second monitor was revealing the unknown logo which looked like the symbol of infinity.
"What is that symbol?" Leon asked.
"It is not just any symbol. The Guardians of Infinity." Mario said.
"The Guardians of Infinity?" Utopia asked.
"They were the secret organization consisted of the multiversal warriors and tasked on their missions to support the fellow teams in each dimension. Mortu is the leader and benefactor of his powerful group." Mario explained.
"You think the Guardians of Infinity was involved everything?" Blanca asked.
"Yes. I only known Mortu for the long time, he sees my skills were quite extensive. He alerted me about the King is missing and that is the reason I have to find him." Mario told them.
"I guess that's make more sense why you left from the Mushroom Kingdom." Geno said.
"Isn't there more details on this monitor?" Blanca asked.
"Don't worry, I have to call someone first." Taiyo replied.
He typed in the search bar to find contacts and tapped to enter. The monitor showed the lists of contacts that were available and affiliated with the Guardians of Infinity. The names including are Ryu, Pit, Meta Knight, Link, Zelda, Impa, Fox Mccloud, Kirby, Ness, Lucas, Sonic, Alphonse, General Steve Eggman, Ken, Chun Li, Cloud, Lightning, Marth, Ike, Lucina, Robin, Nero the Demon Hunter, Zillian, Tommy Oliver and many unknown calls.
"Whoa. All of the heroes affiliated with the Guardians of Infinity, even the Smash Brawl Team." Yoshi awed.
"I guess Mortu must know all about the Multiverse and contacting every fighter to defend the separable cosmical worlds." Yixato replied.
"Who are you going to contact to?" Leon asked.
"I choose Tommy Oliver." Taiyo answered, typing to select Tommy Oliver's contact.
"Oh yeah. He did help us out before." Sean said.
"What about the Master Control Program? Does he can stop you from contacting the others?" Votus asked.
"No. The secret monitor has the super firewall that MCP can't hacked its systems. It is useless against him, nothing to worry." Geno replied.
The monitor made a slight blare noise like the phone rings and the contact picked it up.
"Yeah?" Tommy asked.
"Tommy, it's Taiyo. I used the computer to call you in Ansem's computer room at the Hollow Bastion." Taiyo responded.
"Is everything alright over there?" Tommy asked.
"Sora, Donald and Goofy were digitally transported into the computer itself. There's no way for anything to get them out." Taiyo explained.
"Do not worry about them. At least, you can still go in some other worlds around the Multiverse that need their help. I will send the new team from another world and they are probably helping you to find Riku. It won't take long." Tommy replied.
"Okay then, we shall wait for you outside." Taiyo said, ending the call from him.
"Excellent choice. Maybe he can help us to fight Mesogog." Yixato replied.
"Or we should go to the other worlds that are in danger. We can't ignore the others that need our help." Blanca said.
"It is better we will help them." Verta added.
"Leon, keep trying to access to the power system to help Sora, Donald, and Goofy. We'll be back to check on you and the others." Mario told him.
"Will do." Leon nodded in response. "Be careful."
"You too." Taiyo said before he turned the others. "We better find Chopsuey before Tommy and others gets here on time."
"You're on it." Luigi responded.
The team of heroes left Ansem's computer room, hoping to make sure Sora, Donald, and Goofy were alright when they are stuck in the virtual world.
Author Notes: Taiyo and his friends arrived back at Hollow Bastion once again, heard the news from Cid that led them to find Ansem's computer room that hidden the secret data of the recent events about Hollow Bastion and everything. On their way, Mesogog lunged to ambush them until Yixato and his new recruiting team appeared and they won the fight, causing Anton Mercer's evil counterpart retreat from them. They managed to find the computer as the MCP took over the system and trapped Sora, Donald, and Goofy into the virtual world. But what two choices that Taiyo and others had to do?
