"It's going to be okay," says Minhyuk softly. "I still love you." I lift my head trying to see Minhyuk but he holding on to me so tightly. Kageyama is standing above me looking in awe through the stress I can see on his face. Kenma release me standing up.
"I'm going to get going," he replies.
"Sorry to crash on your bonding time," says Kageyama. Kenma smiles.
"At least I know I wasn't being blown off just because," he says shyly. "Just for the record I think you guys make a great couple." Kageyama blushes making me chuckle. Minhyuk sits up as Kageyama walks Kenma to the door. "Shoyo, I will text you."
"Thanks," I reply my voice shaking.
"Are you okay?" asks Minhyuk. He is such a sweet kid. Minhyuk is certainly worried about me. He shouldn't have to deal with this.
"I'm fine," I reply. "Thanks for asking. How are you doing?" He shakes his head tearing up a little.
"Mom was so mean," he replies. Kageyama makes his way over to us. He hugs his son tightly before he sits down beside me.
"She was upset," explains Kageyama. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner Minhyuk. Mommy and I are going to be going our separate ways. We love you but we don't love each other anymore."
"I know," he replies causally. "You have been sleeping in the guest room."
"How do you know about that?" asks Kageyama.
"I'm 11 dad, not 4," he replies folding his arms. "I don't get it, but you guys seem happier when you started sleeping there so I didn't say anything." That is a damn shame. It also reminds me that kids don't miss shit. "Dad, are you gay?" Kageyama takes a shaky breath. Without thinking I grab his hand to encourage him.
"I'm not gay," he replies. "I am bisexual. It means I like to date men or women." Minhyuk frowns a little increasing my fear. It get intensely quiet but Minhyuk didn't look upset.
"Um okay," he replies. "Is it weird I don't find guys attractive?"
"No!" I exclaim. "Everyone is different."
"Okay," he replies softly. "Why does everyone make it seem wrong though? Why don't they like two boys dating?"
"I wish I had the answer to that son," says Kageyama. "Are you sure you are okay?"
"I'm fine dad," he says softly. "It's just a lot." Kageyama sighs squeezing my hand tightly. "You're still my dad. I just wish…..I just wish you and mommy could be together." It breaks my hear him say that.
"I know," says Kageyama. "I have to talk to Shoyo okay. Why don't you play a game until I am done? I am sure we have more to discuss."
"Alright," he replies perking up a little. His cell phone begins to ring. "It's my best friend."
"You can talk to him but don't discuss what is going on with the family currently," says Kageyama standing up. "It is very important you don't. It's FBI classified information." Minhyuk begins to laugh looking like himself.
"I get it dad," he replies before answering the phone. "Hey! Yeah, I'm doing good. What about you?" The line goes silent. "I don't want to talk about that. We can talk about how I am about to game on the PS5." He begins to laugh. "You should be jealous!" Kageyama relaxes seeing Minhyuk will be fine. Kageyama leads me into my room closing the door locking it. I don't blame him for doing so. The kid has learned enough for one day. At least he appears to be fine. I walk to my mirror wiping my face with my hands. My cheeks are still red as well as under my eyes. God I look horrible.
"You are beautiful Shoyo….." says Kageyama.
"Tobio….." I say closing my eyes. I turn to face him opening my eyes. "I…..I don't even know where to start."
"You don't have a reason to apologize," says Kageyama. "I should have listened to you when you said to wait until the divorce was finalized. I was just so happy. After being miserable for so long I didn't want to wait anymore." I nod with a small smile coming to my face. I fold my arms.
"Neither of us have come out to the public," I replied. "How are we going to spin this?" Kageyama looks nervous.
"I don't know…." he mutters. "I have something to tell you." I immediately begin to panic. Is he going to break up with me? No, I don't see him doing that. This is something else. "I have to tell you this because Hyuna is threatening me with this information but only to a fault."
"What are you saying?" I inquire. "I'm a little confused."
"Hyuna figured out why you didn't make the team," says Kageyama shamefully.
"W-What….."I stammer. "How? I don't understand." Kageyama begins to blush covering his face.
"Fuck," he mumbles. He drops his hands but can't meet me eye. "Hyuna came across a video of you and Kuroo together."
"What the fuck!" I scream. I glance at my door remembering Minhyuk is here. "How? We never made a sex tape! I would fucking never!" Kageyama clears his throat.
"At the training facility," he says lowly. "They had just recently installed cameras and…" My face goes cold.
"When?" I ask slowly. "When did they install the cameras?"
"Two years ago," replies Kageyama. "It was in the spring….." I am in shock as I just stare at him.
"Who saw the video?" I ask.
"Just me and Hyuna," he replies. "I swear! She only saw the video because she went snooping in my things."
"Why the fuck would you even have something like that Tobio?" I ask. His cheeks darker but he doesn't respond. Oh my god….. "How long did you have it?"
"Since that day," he replies. "I wanted to make sure no one else saw it." Well we see how that worked out. I keep that comment to myself.
"How did this lead to me getting fired then?" I question. "This is not making any damn sense!" Kageyama begins to fidget. He never fidgets.
"I told management," he replies. "I wanted you and Kuroo off the team, but they wanted to keep him." I cover my face. "I'm so sorry Shoyo. I really am."
"Why the hell would you even tell them!" I cry my hand curls into a fist. "You know how they feel about same sex couples."
"I was mad okay," he admits. "I was mad because you didn't tell me you were into men. Then to see you fucking Kuroo. Like why him? Why him over me." He covers his face in shame. I walk over sitting on my chaise as all the information sinks in. He got me fired. Not only that he did it in a jealous rage? I lean over burying my face in my hands. "I'm so sorry Shoyo. I really am." Kageyama walks over dropping down to his knees in front of me. I sit up glaring at him.
"You knew I was into men this whole time…" I say lowly. Kageyama blushes nodding his head yes. He knew I was gay. My heart is pounding hard as I try not to pass out. I shake my head trying to focus. "How does that evil bitch tie into this?" I snarl. Kageyama looks taken back for a moment but recovers.
"She wants me to pay spouse support, child support, full custody of Minhyuk, house bills, her car lease, and an additional 15 thousand dollars a month," Kageyama explains. "She knew you weren't aware of why you got let go. She threatened to tell the public about you having sex with Kuroo while releasing the video." My hand begins to shake. "I destroyed that dvd but she had already made a copy."
"Tobio…" I hiss. I shake my head. This situation was already bad. Now it is unbearable. "Unbelievable."
"I take full responsibility for my actions," says Kageyama. "I never meant to hurt you or for any of this to happen." I wipe the silent tears off my cheeks.
"Tell your PR everything," I murmur. "Have him call my PR and tell us what the best solution is. I….I….." I just drop my head in my hands. Kageyama stands up pulling out his phone calling his PR. He knows my PR is James providing his information. I don't know anything that can fix this disaster.
"Shoyo….." whispers Kageyama before kissing side of my neck softly. I sigh because it feels good. Despite him hurting me I love the fact he is trying to comfort me. I guess Kageyama isn't comfortable with my response as he starts to make out with my neck. I hiss lowly. My erect pressing firmly against my jeans. The fact I can even be turned on right now is a miracle. I shouldn't be surprised because I love him. Kageyama hand grabs the right side of my waist. He moves close to me still on his knees. He is breathing hard as his left hand begins to unbutton my jeans.
"Tobio…" I mutter.
"I'm going to make everything right," he whispers. "I promise." He lightly bites into the side of my neck. I whine with Kageyama pulling away removing his shirt. Before I can think he is back kissing me. I groan into his mouth feeling his heat. Kageyama is always loving in every sense of the word but this is different. He grumbles as he slides my briefs off along with bottoms. I cry lowly enjoying his hands on my skin. I swear he is getting better at removing my clothes. Kageyama left hand pushes my legs apart.
"Tobio…" I whimper. I want to ensure he isn't going to try to enter me without lube. He should know better but you never know. He pulls away from me as I move my hair out of my eyes. I glance down seeing him get closer to his intended target. "Tobio…"
