Chapter 25 Jamien and Virgil's Vacation
This chapter is on the 1st of September 2060. In the chapter, Virgil is going to New York City to have a vacation and catch with high school friends. It's Virgil first time having a vacation since international rescue started.
On Tracy Island, Virgil is packing his suitcase and Jamien's suitcase too. Meanwhile, Jamien is in the lounge room with Alan, Gordon and Bridget. Alan and Gordon were watching tv while Bridget and Jamien were playing fighting each other. Jamien peen Bridget down on the ground and heard someone coming down the hallway for the bedrooms. Bridget pushed Jamien off of him and ran back over to Gordon and Alan. Jamien walked into the middle of the room and sat down, looking at the hallway that leads to the bedrooms and saw Scott and Virgil carrying out the suitcases. Jamien watched Scott and Virgil and followed them down to the private plane hanger and laid down on the ground, still watching them.
Meanwhile, Virgil and Scott were loading the suitcases into the plane. Virgil looks over to Jamien, who was licking his front legs. Scott passed Virgil, the last suitcase to be loaded into the plane. Virgil placed the last suitcase with the other suitcase and walked out of the plane.
" That's all the suitcase, Virgil", Scott yelled out to Virgil.
" Right, thanks for the help, Scotty", Virgil said to Scott and hugged him.
" No problem", Scott said and pause.
Virgil watched Scott as he looked down at the ground with a worried and sad face.
" Scott, everything bad will happen to me when I am gone", Virgil said to Scott and placed his hand on Scott's left shoulder.
" I know, but what happened to dad could happen again", Scott said to Virgil.
" Nothing will happen, and pls I will facetime you guys every night too", Virgil said to calm Scott nervous.
" Ok", Scott said and gave Virgil another hug.
Scott left the hanger, Virgil was sitting on the stairs leading into the plane. Jamien was still lying on the floor and watched the boys the whole time. Virgil was looking down at the ground and fidgeting his hands. Jamien was watching Virgil and knew something wasn't right with Virgil. Finally, Jamien stood up and walked over to Virgil and sat down in front of him. Virgil looked up from his hand and look at Jamien sitting in front of him.
" What are you looking at? Virgil asked Jamien.
Jamien moved closer to Virgil and laid his head in Virgil's lap, and whined at him.
" I know Jamien. You are scared too", Virgil said while looking at Jamien.
" Me too", Virgil said under his breath.
" Come Jamien, let's go", Virgil said while standing up.
Jamien watched Virgil stood up and walked inside the plane. Jamien stayed sitting on the stairs leading into the plane, looking confused.
" Jamien, we are going came on inside", Virgil said inside the plane.
Jamien sat up, ran up the stairs into the plane, and ran up to Virgil's cockpit. Jamien reached the cockpit and jumped onto the co-pilot seat next to Virgil. Jamien sat down in the seat and turned to look at Virgil, going the plane, ready for takeoff. But, instead, Virgil got permission to take off from the island. So Jamien laid down in the seat and fall asleep.
16 hours later, Virgil was pick up on the radar heading to New York.
" This is echo foxtrot three calling air traffic control", Virgil said over the radio.
" This is air traffic control receiving you echo foxtrot three", traffic control said to Virgil.
" Looking at permission to land", Virgil said.
" Permission to land runway taxi to runway 13R echo foxtrot three", Traffic control replied to Virgil.
" Thank taxing to runway 13R and coming in for a landing", Virgil said over the radio.
Virgil landed the plane and parked to plane in a pirate hanger. When the plane stop Virgil stood up out of the pilot seat and looked over at Jamien, who was still sleeping. Virgil blind down next to sleeping Jamien and placed his head on Jamien heads.
" Jamien," Virgil whispered into Jamien's ears.
Jamien's ears twitched a little bit, but he didn't wake up.
" Jamien Jamien hay Jamien time to wake up babe boy", Virgil while rubbing his fingers on Jamien's snout and nose.
When Virgil touched Jamien's nose, Jamien waked up and sneezed on Virgil's right hand.
"Thank you, Jamien, for that", Virgil said to Jamien.
Jamien started licking the boogers and mucus off Virgil's right hand. Virgil laughed stand up and walked over to the door, and open it. When pushed the door open, the stairs automatic come down. Virgil walked down the stairs and started unloading the suitcase meanwhile back inside the plane. Jamien was still lying in the seat and was listening to the sounds coming from outside the plane. Virgil loaded the suitcase into a car that Scott organised. Virgil loaded the last suitcase into the car when he notices that Jamien wasn't there with him.
" Jamien, where are you," Virgil said with a little bit of worried tone in his voices.
Jamien heard Virgil calling for him and jumped off the seat, and ran off to Virgil. Virgil was at the bottom of the stairs when he sees Jamien running towards him. Virgil turned to the car, opened the back door, and jamien ran down the stairs and jumped into the car's back seat. Virgil finished loading the suitcase into the back of the car, sat in the driver seat, and started the car.
