After the Battler Party came to an end, Ryūko and her Netherworld family went back home to the mansion. She was in her room, tending to her facial appearance for a certain someone to arrive: Kirio Amy, the third-year student of Babylus arrested for causing havoc at the school. Ryūko managed to interfere with Demon Border Control and asked him over to her place after the Battler Party.
'Tonight is finally the time to tell him how I feel. You better not mess this up, Ryūko.' Said Ryūko in her head as she finished her makeup, "That should be enough for my makeup: a simple kind to suit my skin tone."
Opera knocked on the door and entered her room, with her permission, that is.
"Miss Ryūko, your former upperclassman is nigh." Said Opera, "Do make a good presentation of yourself."
"Thank you, Opera. I will." Said Ryūko as she placed her hood on and going to a place to change her form.
At the Front Gate
Henri Azazel: Demon Border Control Chief and father of Student Council President of Babyls, Ameri Azazel, was at the front gate while holding down on Amy Kirio's wrists to prevent him from escaping.
"This is where the Mysterious Arachne said to meet." Said Henri.
"I wonder who is she really." Wondered Kirio aloud.
At the queue, Ryūko came to the front gate, hooded in her Arachne form.
"Welcome, Kirio Amy." Welcomed Ryūko in a different voice, "On time, as expected."
"Thanks for havin' me over." Said Kirio.
"I shall leave the rest to you, Mysterious Arachne." Said Henri, about to take his leave, "Have a good evening."
He then left the two alone.
"Come inside, Amy. I have much to speak with you." Said the spider demon.
The two went inside the mansion, into the living room. Kirio was wondering if he found the Arachne familiar or not. The turquoise-haired demon turned over to the bigger demon, who knew what he wanted.
"You wish to see who I am under the hood, correct?" Asked the Arachne.
"Y-Yes. I need to know who are you really." Said Kirio.
"Then, I shall reveal my face to you." Said the spider, pulling down her hood slowly, "I have been by your side this whole time, Amy."
She revealed her true Arachne face: three pairs of pupilless and monochromic red (right) and blue (left) eyes.
"Ryūko...?" Kirio was caught from shock that he coughed out blood, much to Ryūko's awareness.
"My apologies! Did my reveal scare you?" Asked Ryūko in a state of shock.
"Yeah, your new face has more eyes and you've got pretty sharp fangs, Ryūko." Said Kirio, "Not to mention, your whole new body."
"After Iruma and I chanted that spell, the active magic in my ring must've filled my body and made my secondary for come to life." Supposed Ryūko.
"I'll admit, Ryūko. You ain't too scary like this and you're still that beautiful little junior I know." Admitted Kirio.
Hearing that sort of compliment made a shade of pink paint over the girl's face.
"Oh. Th-Thanks. I guess." Stammered the Arachne for a little, "I can... change back to my normal self if this makes you uncomfortable."
She then reverted back to her normal humanoid form, "Does this seem more palatable?"
"Like I said, you ain't too scary." Repeated the turquoise-haired demon, "But I guess your normal form is what you think it is."
"I'm glad to hear that." Sighed Ryūko in relief, "I'll assume that you're tired, after what happened the other night, then?"
"I ain't too tired, Ryūko-chan." Said Kirio, "Thanks for askin', though." "Well then, follow me." Said Ryūko, "I have something with you to be interrogated of."
In Ryūko's Room
Ryūko led Kirio to her room and he was left amazed with her style.
"Wow. So you really are a gothic girl, ain't ya, Ryūko-chan?" Asked Kirio, "This room is so you."
"Oh. Yeah, I have a darker sense of fashion in things like this." Said Ryūko, setting up a Demonitor, "What do you think?"
"I think it looks fantastic! Definitely your kind!" Exclaimed Kirio, "Why bring a little Demonitor, though?"
"If Demon Border Control needs some intel of that incident, we need to keep it recorded." Said Ryūko, "Please be honest with this interrogation."
"Okie-dokie, Ryūko." Cooed Kirio.
"Okay! Three, two, one. Action!" Exclaimed the little demon blob.
Many questions and answers were said through the interview for some time. From Kirio's past and ambitions, to his encounter with his senior and the plot set for him.
"So it's clear; that senior of yours was the one who influenced you." Said Ryūko, "Any photo of this person?"
"Yep. I can show you on my hellphone." Said Kirio with his hellphone out. He showed an image of the Thirteen Crown's Thunder Lord: Baal!
Ryūko was surprised and said: "Unbelieveable! Please show that to the audience. Your upperclassman, the one who gave you the idea of destroying the demon school Babylus... was Baal: Thunder Lord of the Thirteen Crowns!"
"You know who are in the Thirteen Crowns?" Asked Kirio.
"Yes, and that fact itself. So we finally found the demon behind that plot." Finalized Ryūko, "That is all, thank you for cooperating with me tonight."
"You're very welcome, Ryūko." Winked Kirio.
The Demonitor signalled the end of the interview with a "CUT!" and received Ryūko's thanks for working with them before it deactivates.
"Now that this is over, let's change for the night." Said Ryūko.
"Okay. I'll grab my kimono." Said Kirio.
After a few minutes, Ryūko was here in her crimson nightgown that had a slight kimono resemblance and Kirio in his white kimono.
"Do you wear kimonos, too, Ryūko?" Asked Kirio.
"No. But I will consider that." Said Ryūko before her thoughts slipped in, "I better tell him the truth, otherwise my feelings for him will end in rejection. Amy. Can you... keep a secret?"
"What's you be thinkin'?" Joked Kirio, "Of course I can."
"Okay. When you said Iruma and I weren't like the others at all, that is true." Said Ryūko, "Because... I'm not a demon; but I am somehow half-human and half-demon."
Kirio was surprised to hear this, Ryūko was a being in the Netherworld that was believed to be a superstition; for her first half, at least. He had no idea how to respond to such a statement of honesty.
"It's fine. You can hit me if you want me to despair in the truth." Frowned the azure-haired female.
"Ryūko... You' re... a mythical bein'?" Asked Kirio a little flabbergasted, "That's pretty cool and unique 'bout ya."
"You... really think so?" Asked Ryūko, receiving a nod from him, "Oh. Why not I share with you a fictional human story that I love so much."
She went over to her bookshelf and picked out a book with an antique leather cover and gold details on the spine.
"What's that book?" Asked Kirio.
"This was a famous play written by a famous writer in the human world; a romantic tragedy of forbidden love, going by the name of Romeo & Juliet." Said Ryūko walking with the book before sitting next to him, "It's in one of the many languages of the human world. Why not we watch a film based of this play? I can translate the subtitles if you want. But the vocabulary of this writer is quite hard to understand, there's a guide there at the bottom of each page for readers to understand."
Kirio took a look in the book and noticed that it was translated in the demon language.
"So, you managed to translate this whole thing?" Asked Kirio.
"No, my grandfather used a bit of magic for that." Said Ryūko, "Let's watch that film."
She tapped on her little Demonitor, requesting for the film.
As they began, Ryūko translates the subtitles that are seen on the projection.
"Two households, both alike in dignity, in fair Verona, where we lay our scene, from ancient grudge break to new mutiny, where civil blood makes civil hands unclean. From forth the fatal loins of these two foes, a pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life; whose misadventured piteous overthrows do with their death bury their parents' strife. The fearful passage of their death-mark'd love, and the continuance of their parents' rage, which, but their children's end, nought could remove, is now the two hours' traffic of our stage; the which if you with patient ears attend, what here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend." Translated Ryūko, "Gregory, o' my word, we'll not carry coals. No, for then we should be colliers..."
Time went by as they reached the party scene at Capulet's house, where Romeo Montague found Juliet Capulet and where Tybalt Capulet is unhappy about the young Montague's presence.
Ryūko Suzuki: "What lady is that, which doth enrich the hand of yonder knight?" - Romeo
"I know not, sir." - Servingman
"O, she doth teach the torches to burn bright!
It seems she hangs upon the cheek of night
Like a rich jewel in an Ethiope's ear;
Beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear!
So shows a snowy dove trooping with crows,
As yonder lady o'er her fellows shows.
The measure done, I'll watch her place of stand,
And, touching hers, make blessed my rude hand.
Did my heart love till now? forswear it, sight!
For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night." - Romeo
"This, by his voice, should be a Montague.
Fetch me my rapier, boy. What dares the slave
Come hither, cover'd with an antic face,
To fleer and scorn at our solemnity?
Now, by the stock and honour of my kin,
To strike him dead, I hold it not a sin." - Tybalt
"Why, how now, kinsman! wherefore storm you so?" - Capulet
"Uncle, this is a Montague, our foe,
A villain that is hither come in spite,
To scorn at our solemnity this night." - Tybalt
"Young Romeo, is it?" - Capulet
"'Tis he, that villain Romeo." - Tybalt
"Content thee, gentle coz, let him alone;
He bears him like a portly gentleman;
And, to say truth, Verona brags of him
To be a virtuous and well-govern'd youth:
I would not for the wealth of all the town
Here in my house do him disparagement:
Therefore be patient, take no note of him:
It is my will, the which if thou respect,
Show a fair presence and put off these frowns,
And ill-beseeming semblance for a feast." - Capulet
"It fits, when such a villain is a guest:
I'll not endure him." - Tybalt
Kirio Amy: (Pauses film) "Well, that ain't reasonable. I mean their familes do fight, but he shouldn' be throwing a scene at a party in his family's house."
Ryūko Suzuki: "Agreeable. I'll get on now, if you don't mind." (Resumes film)
"He shall be endured:
What, goodman boy! I say, he shall: go to;
Am I the master here, or you? Go to.
You'll not endure him! God shall mend my soul!
You'll make a mutiny among my guests!
You will set cock-a-hoop! You'll be the man!" - Capulet
"Why, uncle, 'tis a shame." - Tybalt
"Go to, go to;
You are a saucy boy: is't so, indeed?
This trick may chance to scathe you, I know what:
You must contrary me! marry, 'tis time.
Well said, my hearts! You are a princox; go:
Be quiet, or-More light, more light! For shame!
I'll make you quiet. What, cheerly, my hearts!" - Capulet
Kirio Amy: "Well, that ought'a shut him up. Carry on."
Ryūko Suzuki:
"If I profane with my unworthiest hand
This holy shrine, the gentle fine is this:
My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand
To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss." - Romeo
"Good pilgrim, you do wrong your hand too much,
Which mannerly devotion shows in this;
For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch,
And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss." - Juliet
A Few Minutes Later...
Act IIScene II
Capulet's Orchard
"Alrighty! It's time for my favorite scene! It's the very spotlight of the show! Are you ready?"
Kirio Amy: "Sure am. Let's do this!"
Ryūko Suzuki:
"He jests at scars that never felt a wound.
But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks?
It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon,
Who is already sick and pale with grief,
That thou her maid art far more fair than she:
Be not her maid, since she is envious;
Her vestal livery is but sick and green
And none but fools do wear it; cast it off.
It is my lady, O, it is my love!
O, that she knew she were!
She speaks yet she says nothing: what of that?
Her eye discourses; I will answer it.
I am too bold, 'tis not to me she speaks:
Two of the fairest stars in all the heaven,
Having some business, do entreat her eyes
To twinkle in their spheres till they return.
What if her eyes were there, they in her head?
The brightness of her cheek would shame those stars,
As daylight doth a lamp; her eyes in heaven
Would through the airy region stream so bright
That birds would sing and think it were not night.
See, how she leans her cheek upon her hand!
O, that I were a glove upon that hand,
That I might touch that cheek!" - Romeo
"Ay me!" - Juliet
"She speaks:
O, speak again, bright angel!
For thou art as glorious to this night, being o'er my head
As is a winged messenger of heaven
Unto the white-upturned wondering eyes
Of mortals that fall back to gaze on him
When he bestrides the lazy-pacing clouds
And sails upon the bosom of the air." - Romeo
"O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo?
Deny thy father and refuse thy name;
Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love,
And I'll no longer be a Capulet." - Juliet
"Shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this?" - Romeo
"'Tis but thy name that is my enemy;
Thou art thyself, though not a Montague.
What's Montague? it is nor hand, nor foot,
Nor arm, nor face, nor any other part
Belonging to a man. O, be some other name!
What's in a name? that which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet;
So Romeo would, were he not Romeo call'd,
Retain that dear perfection which he owes
Without that title.
Romeo, doff thy name,
And for that name which is no part of thee
Take all myself." - Juliet
"I take thee at thy word:
Call me but love, and I'll be new baptized;
Henceforth I never will be Romeo." - Romeo
"What man art thou that thus bescreen'd in night
So stumblest on my counsel?" - Juliet
"By a name I know not how to tell thee who I am:
My name, dear saint, is hateful to myself,
Because it is an enemy to thee;
Had I it written, I would tear the word." - Romeo
"My ears have not yet drunk a hundred words
Of that tongue's utterance, yet I know the sound:
Art thou not Romeo and a Montague?" - Juliet
"Neither, fair maid, if either thee dislike." - Romeo
"How camest thou hither, tell me, and wherefore?
The orchard walls are high and hard to climb,
And the place death, considering who thou art,
If any of my kinsmen find thee here." - Juliet
"With love's light wings did I o'er-perch these walls;
For stony limits cannot hold love out,
And what love can do that dares love attempt;
Therefore thy kinsmen are no let to me." - Romeo
"If they do see thee, they will murder thee." - Juliet
"Alack, there lies more peril in thine eye
Than twenty of their swords: look thou but sweet,
And I am proof against their enmity." - Romeo
"I would not for the world if they saw thee here." - Juliet
"I have night's cloak to hide me from their sight;
And but thou love me, let them find me here:
My life were better ended by their hate,
Than death prorogued, wanting of thy love." - Romeo
"By whose direction foundest thou out this place?" - Juliet
"By love, who first did prompt me to inquire;
He lent me counsel and I lent him eyes.
I am no pilot; yet, wert thou as far
As that vast shore wash'd with the farthest sea,
I would adventure for such merchandise." - Romeo
Kirio Amy: "Awwww! That's... that's a lovely way to say your love out to someone."
Ryūko Suzuki: "I know. This is why this part is my favorite and why it is so famous."
About An Hour Later
Act II Scene III
A Churchyard; In It A Tomb Belonging To The Capulets
"This letter doth make good the friar's words,
Their course of love, the tidings of her death:
And here he writes that he did buy a poison
Of a poor 'pothecary, and therewithal
Came to this vault to die, and lie with Juliet.
Where be these enemies? Capulet! Montague!
See, what a scourge is laid upon your hate,
That heaven finds means to kill your joys with love.
And I for winking at your discords too
Have lost a brace of kinsmen: all are punish'd." - Prince
"O brother Montague, give me thy hand:
This is my daughter's jointure, for no more
Can I demand." - Capulet
"But I can give thee more:
For I will raise her statue in pure gold;
That while Verona by that name is known,
There shall no figure at such rate be set
As that of true and faithful Juliet." - Montague
"As rich shall Romeo's by his lady's lie;
Poor sacrifices of our enmity!" - Capulet
"A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Juliet and her Romeo." - Prince
"That's the end of the film. What do you think?"
Ryūko received an expected reaction from Kirio, softly crying from the film.
"That... That was wonderful, Ryūko!" Cried Kirio, "I never thought a story full of despair would make me feel like this!"
"Well, it is a tragedy, after all." Nodded Ryūko, "The real definition of true love: If you truly love someone, differences don't matter and neither do your families being enemies."
Kirio wiped away his tears with a tissue provided by Ryūko before he blew his nose in a cute way, making the girl just smile.
"There's somethin' I've been wanting to tell ya, Ryūko." Said Kirio resolved.
"The same with me, Amy." Replied Ryūko, "Do you want me to go first?"
"Maybe I should start. Ryūko... I.. When you scared the ones who made fun of me, for the first time, and when you supported me... I felt the same feelin' in my chest, when someone was in despair." Confessed Kirio, "But this is different in a case like this. Your very being made my heart skip a beat. Yes, it was... love at first sight. Will you... be... my soulmate, even though I've done somethin' wrong?"
Ryūko was shocked, to know that the one she fell in love with actually... loves her as well. She never thought that he loved her from their first encounter. With a slight blush and a soft smile painted on her face, Ryūko confessed: "Roses are red, violets are blue. I see our fireworks bloomed, but the only one who stole my heart is you. When you first told me the outline of your ambition, I was moved without a price, for you chose social equality to be a highlight in that ambition. That's where I knee, that even the weakest ones carry great surprises. Despite your wrongdoings, I won't turn away from my feelings; I, too, have felt love at first sight. I shall indeed be your soulmate."
In a split second, Kirio embraced Ryūko, and she hugged back. The two were very happy to know that they feel the same love for each other.
"I'm so happy, that you accepted my feelings and you put our differences aside." Whispered Kirio ever so sweetly.
"Who says you need to be similar to love?" Joked Ryūko.
They pulled away and Kirio's right hand placed Ryūko's forelock behind her ear before it landed on her cheek.
"You're as beautiful as the day I met you, Ryūko-chan." Complimented the pure-blooded demon softly as his and Ryūko's gemstones were locked on each other.
"Amy..."
"Ryūko..."
Suddenly, a particular person entered the room.
"Sis. So you're done with your inter-"
It was Iruma who interrupted the romantic moment, his sister and her soulmate blushed and noticed him.
"Iruma..." Addressed Kirio.
"Iruma, did you need anything?" Asked Ryūko.
"S-Sorry, guys. I should have knocked." Apologized Iruma, "And no, I just wanted to check on you and Kirio."
"Actually..." Kirio went in first to claim Ryūko's lips in a second. Ryūko was in a bliss as they kissed.
"Oh wow!" Exclaimed Iruma as he flushed red at the scene, "I'll get some sleep. Goodnight."
And with that, Iruma closed the door as he exited the room, only leaving Ryūko and Kirio alone.
Once they parted away, Ryūko smiled and said: "That was nice."
"And you taste sweet, Ryūko." Flirted Kirio, resulting in his dear soulmate to blush.
Just then, Kirio remembered something.
"Hey, Ryūko." Addressed Kirio, tugging on her nightgown sleeve a little, "I want you to have this."
He took out a pair of black gloves, the ones used to create a holographic layout of the school back in the Battler Party Eve. If you didn't notice, those purple tassel-like things on his white cape were actually the same pair of gloves.
"Amy, aren't these the gloves you used?" Asked Ryūko with one last candle still on fire.
"Yeah. I put some bits of my magic in there, so you can create barriers if needed, too." Smiled the horned demon.
Ryūko was more than happy to receive something back from her soulmate and took the gloves and placed them somewhere in her wardrobe.
"Thank you, Amy." Smiled Ryūko, "By the way, those songs I sang during the Closing Spectacular, those were songs from the human world I wanted to gift to you."
Kirio blushed at how she planned such a gift to him with a few songs.
"You have a dagger or somethin' like that?" Asked Kirio scratching the back of his head, "There's a soulmate ritual in the Netherworld, ya know."
Ryūko looked around for her summoning dagger and passed it over to him. He took Ryūko's right hand and created a small cut on the first lower part of her ring finger. He gave it to Ryūko and she did the same for his right ring finger. They gave deep stares into each other's eyes before nodding and bestowing a kiss on their scars. After taking in their blood samples, a bright turquoise and admiral blue light shone from the scars and the two colors were wielded in them; turquoise representing Kirio on the top half, admiral blue representing Ryūko on the bottom half of the scars.
"When either of us kiss our Soulmate Scars, they glow up, ya see." Said Kirio.
"Oh. That's a great alternative to rings, considering our age." Said Ryūko, "But wait... You're a pure-blooded demon from here, the Netherworld. And I'm a cambion from the human world. Humans and demons don't coexist yet, but when I'm hybrid, this love is forbidden because of our worlds and because thou art a villain in one's tale whereas I made haste to be at everyone's aid!"
"But that ain't gonna stop us from lovin' each other, right?" Assured Kirio as he tenderly placed his hand on her cheek, "This may be forbidden love, but you and I... we should follow our hearts, like what you did in acceptin' me as your soulmate, my Juliet from the human world."
Ryūko's eyes widened as her face gleamed with a radiant blush and a few tears streaking down from her eyes.
"Amy... this is... such a wonderful way to keep true to your love." Cried Ryūko softly as she embraced Kirio, "You really know what to say!"
Kirio embraced her back in comforting her before saying: "That movie won't be the first story 'bout forbidden love, ya know."
His right hand traced down to her legs before he somehow managed to sweep her of her feet, "With love's light wings did I o'er-perch these walls; for stony limits cannot hold love out, And what love can do that dares love attempt; therefore thy kinsmen are no let to me."
"If they do see thee, they will murder thee." Quoted Ryūko with her face down.
"Alack, there lies more peril in thine eye than twenty of their swords: look thou but sweet, and I am proof against their enmity." Quoted Kirio, still holding Ryūko in his arms.
"I would not for the world if they saw thee here." Said Ryūko.
"I have night's cloak to hide me from their sight; and but thou love me, let them find me here: my life were better ended by their hate, than death prorogued, wanting of thy love." Reassured the demon.
"By whose direction foundest thou out this place?" Asked the heterochromatic girl.
"By love, who first did prompt me to inquire; he lent me counsel and I lent him eyes." Whispered Kirio, "I am no pilot; yet, wert thou as far as that vast shore wash'd with the farthest sea, I would adventure for such merchandise."
Ryūko was speechless from what was quoted and gasped as she looked at her soulmate.
"You're not like the Kirio I knew before." Smiled Ryūko at last, "You definately are my Romeo from the Netherworld." Kirio was as happy as his soulmate that she said that such thing and leaned in for another kiss.
After such, he gently placed Ryūko on her bed and snuggled next to her under the bed quilt. The two just smiled as they held hands and fell asleep with their new Soulmate Scars glowing turquoise and blue again, indicating their love growing closer as their hearts became one with each other.
The Next Morning
The Sun lit upon the Netherworld's horizon, through the windows of Ryūko's room. The said girl shifted her position a little and got up, looking over at Kirio's sleeping form. Ryūko just smiled as she got up and did some preparations for school. She wanted a new look to have as a memorial of Kirio, she wasted no time looking at her wardrobe for a dark purple cape, similar with Kirio's, but with a red cord connected to a pair of gothic metal pins/ornaments with red gemstones and an embroidery of the Babyls school symbol on the left side. She rushed to her dresser and found a pair of black cherry blossom ear cuffs and placed them on her ears. Then, she pinned her Gimel badge next to the embroidery om her cape and sewn her jacket's epaulettes to the it.
The next thing she knew was that Kirio noticed her early awakening.
"Mornin', Ryūko." Greeted Kirio, "Lookin' good today, eh?"
"Oh. Good morrow, Romeo." Greeted Ryūko, "Yes. This is to be a memorial of you, so I have no need to feel alone."
She showed him her cherry blossom ear cuffs behind her forelocks and Kirio was moved.
He walked over to her and touched her cheek with his gentle hand.
"You're lookin' a little like me now." Smiled Kirio, "Except for my... other side."
He tried to adjust her hairstyle a little by pinning the left half of her bangs, along with her forelock to the side of her head and bringing the right side of her cape down. She turned around to the mirror and looked at herself in awe.
"I think I'll use this look in my evil cycle." Said Ryūko as she adjusted to her new normal look, "You might need to get changed into your uniform, as well."
Kirio nodded and went somewhere else to change up.
Opera was just in the hallway approaching Ryūko's room and knocked on the door.
"Miss Ryūko. Master Amy. Please come to the dining room after preparations." Said Opera.
"Thank you for the reminder, Opera." Said Ryūko from the other side of the door, "We'll be over there in a minute."
The burgundy cat demon nodded and took his leave to Iruma's and Isabelle's rooms. The two soulmates were finished with preparations and so were Iruma and Isabelle, they walked down to the dining room together and even had a conversation.
"So, what did you guys do after the interview?" Asked Isabelle.
"Oh... Umm... We watched a movie and... I'll tell you and my brother about the plot later." Said Ryūko shyly with a blush on her face, along with Kirio.
"Oh, Sis! That look, what's with it?" Asked Iruma with sparkles in his blue innocent eyes.
"She wants to look like this to remember me." Said Kirio, "Ain't that right, Ryūko?"
"Indeed." Smiled Ryūko.
Once they reached the dining room, the three were greeted by Sullivan.
"Good morning, my precious little grandchildren, Ryūko and Iruma!" Greeted Sullivan.
"Ay, good morrow, Grandfather." Bowed Ryūko.
"Good morning, Grandpa." Greeted Iruma.
"Good morning/Mornin', Chair-Demon." Bowed Isabelle and Kirio.
"Ryūko, you're looking great today!" Complimented Sullivan.
"As to my agreement." Agreed Opera.
"Oh, thank you both." Replied Ryūko, "Do have a seat, Amy."
They were all seated as they had breakfast together. Ryūko was oddly touching her ear cuffs in a few second at some times.
"Grandfather, may I please announce something?" Asked Ryūko, "It's quite an important aspect in my time."
"Sure thing, go ahead." Said Sullivan.
The heterochromatic girl nodded and stood up from her seat before saying: "When Amy and I were done with our interrogation and a film we watched, there was something that we have discovered. He wanted to tell me something and so did I, he made the first move. He spoke of a feeling that seized him when we first met, I, too, have felt such a beautiful thing. Then, last night, we spoke of this feeling and that's where the connection was true."
Kirio stood up and the two faced each other, looking into each other's eyes and taking their left hands to bestow a kiss on their ring fingers. Their scars glowed turquoise and blue, and were showcased to Sullivan, Iruma and Opera.
"Our hearts stood true and fate made us one. Needless to say, we are now soulmates." Finished both Ryūko and Kirio.
There was a silence in the room for a minute and then Iruma and Isabelle clapped his hands with a smile, Sullivan shed tears of happiness and Opera clapped with Iruma and Isabelle.
"Congratulations, Miss Ryūko, for finding your love in the Netherworld." Congratulated Opera.
"My granddaughter's first boyfriend!" Cried Sullivan happily, "She grew up so fast!"
"It was pretty surprising, but I'm happy for you two, Sis and Kirio!" Said Iruma.
"Me too." Agreed Isabelle.
"When two from different worlds were brought down into the same world, differences can be casted aside; true love only stands, disregarding where we came from, who our families are, and who we really are." Said Ryūko.
"Thanks for acceptin' our relationship, everyone." Said Kirio happily before he turned to his beloved soulmate and pulled her in for a kiss.
After breakfast, Ryūko went with Kirio in the yard and transformed to her Arachne form, hooded. Azazel Henri was on his way to the mansion and was in thought of who the Mysterious Arachne really was. Arachne Ryūko made her way to the gate and greeted Henri.
"Good morning, Mysterious Arachne." Greeted Henri, "I came to pick up Kirio Amy."
"Then, you may take him." Nodded Ryūko in a different voice and gave him a Demonitor with the interview recording, "This had a certain girl interviewing him in regards to the Party Eve incident."
"Thank you for being a reasonable demon, madam." Thanked Henri taking the Demonitor.
"Amy. It's time for you to go." Said Ryūko to Kirio.
He nodded and whispered to her: "It'll be alright, Ryūko. I'll miss ya, too. Please don't forget about me."
Kirio was one of those only people who was able to elicit a smile from Ryūko. With him handcuffed again, Henri took Kirio away. Once they walked away Ryūko pulled off her hood and transformed back to her normal form, Iruma looked up to his sister and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"You did really well, Sis." Said Iruma, "That was a way that you gave Kirio a second chance in something."
Ryūko had a tear in her red eye streaming down from her face. She ran over to them and hugged Kirio so suddenly.
"Amy! I'll miss you, Amy!" Cried Ryūko, "Even if you have changed for the better, I wouldn't want you in any way! Don't forget about me either!"
"So, you're Ryūko?" Asked Henri.
The girl nodded at his response and he told her: "With the Demonitor that was given by the Arachne, we'll have a way for you and him to keep in touch. So, there's no need to worry."
"Really, Officer Azazel?! Thank you so much!" Cried Ryūko happily, "I'm very grateful!"
The adult nodded and patted her head before he and Kirio took their leave.
The teenage demon turned his head over to his beloved and said: "Never forget me, Juliet."
"I would have you in my heart always, Romeo." Said Ryūko back as she waved her goodbye.
