A/N: Hello everyone, I am back with chapter twenty - five of this story. Here, we conclude where we left off last time.

James and Meowth were desperate. They needed to into the zoo and rescue Jessie from the Team Rocket trap. However, the police had sealed off all entry ways thus aiding Team Rocket without knowing it.
"I can't find a way in." said James worried.
"Even posing as wild Meowth, I got nothing." revealed Meowth.
"If only they thought you belonged in the zoo." sighed James.
"I was hoping they would think that then I'd slip off and let you in." explained Meowth.
"Well, I guess they have too many Meowth." groaned James.
"Actually, they weren't interested in such a common Pokemon." said Meowth flatly.
"You're the farthest from common." said James.
"Thanks." replied Meowth grateful.
"But, now we need a plan to get in." noted James.
"We could try a distraction of our own." said Meowth.
"I could pretend to be wild and distract the cops." offered Meowth.
"Sorry, but we're in this together." said James.
"Oh Jimmy." said Meowth.
"Now we have to come up with something!" exclaimed James.
The two thought.
"I've got nothing." said Meowth.
"Neither do I." said James frustrated.
"But we need to think of something fast." said James urgently.
"If we had our old balloon, we could airdrop in." said Meowth.
James shook his head.
"That would draw too much attention." replied James.
James and Meowth bought an their eureka moment.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" asked James.
"Oh yeah." answered Meowth.
Back inside the zoo, Jessie found herself in a very precarious situation. Shew as trapped in a two - on - one situation facing Butch and Cassidy with no help coming. All she had was herself plus Seviper and Yanmega. However, Jessie refused to surrender not as much for herself, but more for her unborn child. Thus, Jessie prepared herself mentally for the next attack.
"Use Skull Bash on Yanmega!" ordered Cassidy.
"Use Triple Kick on Seviper!" ordered Butch.
"Use Bite on Raticate! Yanmega, dodge and use Sonic Boom on Hitmontop!" ordered Jessie.
Yanmega managed to avoid Skull Bash by flying up high.
"Get back her coward!" demanded Raticate.
Seviper then struck Raticate with Bite.
"How's that for an answer?" asked Yanmega.
Yanmega spotted Hitmontop.
"On your right!" called Yanmega.
Seviper noticed Hitmontop and dodged so triple Kick hit Raticate.
"Watch it!" snapped Raticate.
"Sorry." said Hitmontop apologetic.
Cassidy growled angrily.
"You two need to get your act together!" declared Cassidy.
"We're trying." said Butch.
"Well, you're trying is screwing us over!" exclaimed Cassidy furious.
"Hopeful this will buy me time." thought Jessie.
Alas, the two turned their attention back to Jessie.
"Use Tackle on Yanmega!" ordered Cassidy.
"Use Rapid Spin on Seviper!" ordered Butch.
"Use Bite on Raticate and Silver Wind on Hitmontop.
Yanmega used Silver Wind which caused Hitmontop to spin rapidly. Once it stopped, Hitmontop staggered like a Spinda. Raticate went for Tackle, but Seviper intercepted with Bite.
"Oh man." sighed Butch.
Meanwhile, Cassidy was fed up and decided to take drastic measures.
"Raticate, let's do the world a favor and use Super Fang on her stomach!" ordered Cassidy.
A reluctant Raticate obeyed, but was stopped by a nearly falling into a pit.
"What is the world?!" asked Cassidy.
James and Meowth jumped out of the hole.
"Nice try you two, but you forgot we're experts when it comes to holes and tunneling." said Meowth.
"Plus, we had a little help." added James.
Growlie jumped out of the hole and went right away to protect Jessie.
"Nice Growlithe." said Butch worried.
James went over to Jessie.
"Are you okay?" asked James concerned.
"Yeah." answered Jessie grateful.
James turned toward Butch and Cassidy.
"I'm sick of dealing with you two. If you're going to be dumb enough to follow Giovanni, then let's end this right here." said James.
"This hardly seems fair." noted Butch.
"Since when have you cared about being fair?" asked Meowth.
Meowth stepped forward.
"You're going to fight?" asked James surprised.
"I have to." answered Meowth.
"Raticate, use Super Fang on Seviper!" ordered Cassidy.
"Hitmontop, hit the other three with Triple Kick!" ordered Butch.
"Use Bite and Sonic Boom!" ordered Jessie.
"Use Flamethrower on Hitmontop!" ordered James.
"Meowth use Fury Swipes on Raticate!" declared Meowth.
Raticate went for Super Fang, but Meowth struck with Fury Swipes. Blinded for a moment, Seviper hit with Bite.
"My eyes!" cried Raticate in pain.
"Take that ya overgrown rodent!" cried Meowth.
"Look out!" cried James.
Hitmontop hit with a Triple Kick.
"Now then..." began Hitmontop.
Hitmontop turned hit Yanmga, but Yanmega hit with Sonic Boom. Hitmontop fell back and was roasted by Flamethrower.
"Are you okay?" asked Jessie.
Meowth got right back up.
"After all the times we've been blasted off by the twerps, that was nothing." answered Meowth.
"Use Super Fang on Meowth!" ordered Cassidy.
"Use Rolling Kick on Growlithe!" ordered Butch.
"Use Poison Tail on Raticate and Ancient Power on Hitmontop!" ordered Jessie.
"Use Flamethrower on Hitmontop!" ordered James.
"Meowth use Scratch on Raticate!" cried Meowth.
Yanmega blasted Hitmontop with Ancient Power.
"Hitmontop no!" exclaimed Butch.
Raticate showed no fear of Scratch, but Meowth was saved by Poison Tail. Raticate was noticeable slow to get up.
"On your feet!" demanded Cassidy.
Raticate slowly and weakly got up.
"What's wrong with you?" asked Cassidy frustrated.
"Take a good look." answered Jessie.
Cassidy looked at her Raticate and realized what was going on.
"Raticate was badly poisoned by Seviper." stated Jessie.
Cassidy growled angrily.
"Butch! Help me out!" snapped Cassidy.
Butch, afraid of what would happen should they lose, nodded in agreement.
"Hitmontop! Get up!" demanded Butch.
Hitmontop slowly got up, but was hit with Flamethrower.
"No fair!" exclaimed Butch.
"I ordered the attack and Growlie was carrying it out." shrugged James.
Hitmontop fell onto its back out cold.
"I don't believe!" screamed Cassidy irate.
"Sorry." said Butch, apologetic and worried.
"I'll have to do everything myself." said Cassidy.
"James and Meowth, I appreciate the help. But I can handle this myself." said Jessie.
"Of course." agreed James.
Knowing this was a showdown years in the making, James and Meowth backed down leaving it Jessie versus Cassidy.
"Use Super Fang!" ordered Cassidy.
"Use Poison Tail and Ancient Power!" ordered Jessie.
Raticate attacked and managed to get Seviper with Poison Tail, but Seviper then hit Raticate in the head with Poison Tail knocking Raticate to the ground/.
"Get up!" screamed Cassidy.
Raticate struggled to get up as Jessie pitied the poor Pokemon.
"I feel so bad for doing this to Raticate." confessed Jessie.
Yanmega blasted Raticate with Ancient Power knocking it to the ground again.
"Get up right now or so help me!" demanded Cassidy, frothing at the mouth.
"Cassidy doesn't know how much she's hurting Raticate." said Meowth.
"She does, but she doesn't care." said James.
Raticate tried to get up, but the poison caused it to faint.
"Oh crap." said Butch, knowing this won't go over well.
Cassidy dropped down to her knees.
"I lost again." said Cassidy dumbstruck.
Jessie and James recalled their Pokemon.
"Cassidy, we're through with you. I never want to see you or Biff again." said Jessie.
For once, Butch didn't care she got his name wrong as he called Hitmontop.
"However, if you wise up and ditch Team Rocket...then that's another story." said Jessie.
"She's still willing to help us if we ditch Team Rocket." thought Butch amazed.
Cassidy slammed her fist on the ground.
"I don't need your freaking pity!" declared Cassidy.
Jessie sadly shook her head.
"Let's go." said Jessie solemnly.
Jessie, James and Meowth escaped through the tunnel. They bolted back to the apartment without being seen. On the way, James told Jessie about their talk with Annie and Oakley. Arriving at the apartment, they found the sisters absent. However, there was money so they could get to Crimson City. The three packed their things and made their way to the bus station. They bought their tickets and were on the first bus out of Fuchsia.
"Well, we're on the run again." sighed Meowth.
"Hopefully, they won't find us here." said James.
"We need a place to settle down." stated Jessie.
Jessie rubbed her hand over her stomach.
"We will." promised James.
Jessie solemnly thought over the situation.
"So, we're really staying with that old lady and her Delibird." said Jessie surprised.
"And her granddaughter." added Meowth.
"Annie and Oakley vouched for her.
"I hope so." sighed Jessie.
"If they were going to screw us over, they'd have done it by now." stated Meowth.
"Maybe." mused Jessie.
Jessie felt a pain in her stomach.
"Are you okay?" asked James.
"Yeah." answered Jessie pained.
Jessie took several deep breaths.
"We have to end this soon." said Jessie.
"I know, but they're sure not making this easy." sighed James.
"And we can't go to the cops or anything." added Meowth.
"Of course not." huffed Jessie.
James placed his hand on Jessie's.
"I promise, this will be over soon." said James.
"Thanks." replied Jessie gratefully.
The three didn't know the bus driver was listening to them.
"I'll report this to Domino later." thought the bus driver.
Hours later, Domino waited outside Fuchsia City. She had been tipped off by the bus driver and was moving operations to Crimson City. She had got the okay from Giovanni, but they both agreed there was one thing to do first. Finally, they arrived. Butch and Cassidy barely escaped Fuchsia Zoo after another failed job. Cassidy was bitter while Butch worried about the chewing out to come. Both could see Domino wasn't happy.
'You know why I am angry." said Domino.
"We failed again." muttered Butch.
Cassidy remained silent.
"They're head to Crimson City which is where we'll be going." said Domino.
"This time...I will beat her.' vowed Cassidy.
Domino chuckled.
"Oh, you're not going." revealed Domino.
"Please don't send us back to HQ! We'll get them this time!" cried Butch.
"You misunderstand." said Domino.
Domino pulled out a pistol and aimed it at the duo.
"The boss is tied of you failing." said Domino.
Butch and Cassidy were devastated as Domino smirked in amusement.
"I think I'll start with Cassidy first." said Domino.
Cassidy closed her eyes and heard the gun fire, but felt nothing. Opening her eyes, she saw Butch lying on the ground in front of her in a pool of blood.
"Butch!" screamed Cassidy horrified.
Cassidy knelt down to check on her partner not noticing Domino walking toward her.
"Cassidy...I" began Butch.
Before he could finish, Butch closed his eyes and died.
"No!" cried Cassidy.
Domino was a foot away now and aimed her pistol at Cassidy's head.
"Jessie, I should have listened." said Cassidy regretfully.
Domino pulled the trigger putting a bullet into Cassidy's head. Her corpse falling backwards onto the ground.
A/N: That's an ending for you. So, Butch and Cassidy have payed for their failures and are indeed dead as our trio escaped again. Next time, we get to focus on our trio and how they're holding up. Please review.
