Greek Disaster?
"Britt, what do you think about going to Greece?" Santana asks.
"I guess we could go, there's a lot of history there." Brittany says.
"Great, let's go for two weeks." Santana says before leaving Brittany to do all the planning.
Later that day while Brittany is on the phone with their travel agent when Rachel and Quinn stop by to say hi. Santana had let them in before leaving with Spencer to take her to dance class.
"Hold on guys, I'm just finishing up a call with our travel agent." Brittany says before going to back to talk with the agent.
"Wonder where they are going this time?" Rachel asks looking over at her girlfriend.
"I have no idea," Quinn says sighing.
"Why can't we go to some of the places they have gone?" Rachel questions.
"Because we don't have the money they do." Quinn tells her.
Rachel pouts at her girlfriend who now feels bad that she can't take her girl where she wants to go.
"Why are you pouting at Quinn, Rach?" Brittany asks having finished up her call.
"I want to go on trips like you guys go on." Rachel says still pouting.
"We can't afford to." Quinn sadly says again.
"Why don't you two come with us?" Brittany says.
"No!" Quinn says not wanting to travel with Santana.
"Really?" Rachel asks looking wide eyed at Brittany.
"Sure, it will be nice to have friends there to enjoy the trip with us." Brittany says all smiles.
"We'd love to." Rachel says replying for both of them.
Quinn is in shock. She does not want to vacation with Santana but doesn't have the balls to say no to Rachel. As she sits there Brittany calls her travel agent and with Rachel on the phone with her, they add them to the trip.
"This is going to be so much fun." Brittany says once they hang up.
"Thank you so much for including us. I can't wait to go." Rachel says giving Brittany a huge hug.
"Get your hands off my wife hobbit." Santana says having just gotten back.
"We're going to Greece with you." Quinn says hoping Santana will agree with her and convince their wives that they should not vacation together.
"No," Santana says causing Quinn to do a little dance.
"They are coming with it. I think it will be nice to have friends come with us. Plus they can watch Spencer if we want to go out to dinner one night." Brittany calmly says staring her wife down.
"Fine," Santana says completely giving in.
"No, how can you just agree with her. Where is the Santana that fights to get her own way and to not spend time with Rachel?" Quinn whispers to Santana so their wives can't hear her.
"Happy wife makes a very happy life." Santana says shrugging. "I pick my battles when it comes to Britt and this is not one that I want to take."
"Fine," Quinn grumbles.

"This is so cool that you two came with us to Greece." Spencer happily says.
"It is isn't it." Rachel says also happy.
Quinn grumbles under her breath still thinking this vacation is going to end bad but she's keeping her mouth shut as she doesn't want to get a talking to from her wife.
"I have everything planned out. The tomorrow will be a day to rest and explore around the hotel. I figured that since we're staying for two weeks and after the long flight that we could use a rest day." Brittany says and Santana sighs in relief. "The day after though we have a tour of the Acropolis and have tours of other historical places the next few days before we have another free explore day." she explains handing Rachel a handout of their excursions.
"Thanks this is great." Rachel says, elbowing Quinn.
"Yeah, great." Quinn says smiling.
"Please tell me we won't have to wake up extra early?" Santana asks knowing her wife likes to schedule things early.
"8 am," Brittany says.
Santana and Quinn both groan at this.
"Mami and Aunt Quinn can stay at the hotel while we have fun." Spencer says.
"That's right Spencer." Rachel says.
Santana glares at her daughter who is currently being a traitor agree with Rachel.
"We'll wake up." Santana says.
After their day of rest, Rachel doing her vocal exercises wakes up Santana at 7 am. Brittany is already up with Spencer making breakfast for them all.
"Shut up!" Santana shouts banging on the wall that separated their rooms.
"Don't shout at my wife!" Quinn shouts back.
"Then tell her to not sing at freaking 7 am!" Santana shouts.
"She's an early riser!" Quinn shouts even though she agrees with grumpy Santana.
Neither of them are morning people.
"BREAKFAST!" Spencer shouts.
Santana grumbles as she shuffles out into the kitchen. Quinn looks equally grumpy as she enters.
"Thanks for making breakfast." Rachel says smiling as she comes in.
"Here, we made you a vegan option." Brittany says handing Rachel a plate.
"Thank you," Rachel says touched that Brittany did this for her.
Brittany sets a huge cup of coffee in front of Santana who gives her wife a peck on the lips.
"Mama said to give this to you." Spencer says placing a plate full of bacon in front of Quinn.
"Bacon," Quinn happily says diving in.
After eating, Brittany ushers them all out to meet the tour guide who is picking them up in front of the hotel.
"Hi, my name is Arie." the tour guide says. "We'll be touring the Acropolis today. Feel free to ask me any questions you have. This is one of the most popular places to visit so it will be busy even this early." he tells them.
"What's there to do?" Spencer says not wanting to be bored.
"There's a lot of area to walk around and see all these ancient buildings." Arie says hoping this little girl doesn't cause them to leave early.
"Don't worry honey, there's plenty to do." Brittany says. "And if you get bored, you can bug your mami." she softly says.
"What buildings will we be seeing in the Acropolis?" Rachel asks.
"There's of course the Parthenon but also the Propylaea, Erechtheion and Temple of Athena Nike." Arie tells them.
Arie had set up for them to get in as soon as they arrive so they're able to avoid the lines.
"This tour guide is by far the best. Please tell me he's doing all of our tours." Santana whispers to her wife.
"I did," Brittany says smiling.
She knew that her wife would like this tour guide who understood that her wife is impatient and getting them into places quick is very important.
"Good, I like him." Santana says.
The group makes their way first to the Parthenon.
"Wow," Rachel says looking at the building in awe.
"Best day ever, Rachel is speechless." Santana says smirking.
Quinn chuckles at this unable to disagree with Santana.
"The Parthenon here was a temple dedicated to the goddess Athena. They started building it in 447 BC and finished in 438 BC though they didn't complete decorating it until 432 BC." Arie tells them. "It was severely damaged in 1687 when it was used by the Ottoman's an ammunition dump. There have many large scale restoration projects that have taken place since 1975."
Rachel is enthralled with what the tour guide is saying and asks several follow up questions that Arie easily answers. He leads her and Quinn, who she drags with her around to the other side of the Parthenon.
"Now I like the tour guide even more." Santana says as her, Brittany and Spencer head the other way around the Parthenon.
"Why isn't this building complete?" Spencer asks frowning at the building.
"Because it's very old and parts have started to fall apart." Brittany tells her.
"They should take better care of it." Spencer simply says.
"They've tried, but it's extremely old and for long periods of time, people didn't care because of various reasons." Santana says.
"That sucks," Spencer says.
"It sure does," Brittany agrees.
They spend about an hour and a half around the Parthenon. With Arie telling them the entire history of the building and exploring all around it to keep Spencer entertained.
"If you follow me, we'll go visit the Erechtheion or Erechtheum which is another ancient Greek temple over here on the north side. It was dedicated to both Athena and Poseidon." Arie tells them as he leads them towards the Erechtheion.
"This one looks better than the last one." Spencer says.
Spencer doesn't appreciate the historical importance of what she's seeing though she is having more fun than she thought when they first told her where they would be spending the day. The buildings are actually cool to look at and there's plenty of room for her wander without her moms' yelling at her to come back.
"It does look a little more kept together." Rachel agrees. "It probably helps that it's smaller than the Parthenon."
"The same sculptor and mason Phidias built this and the Parthenon." Arie tells them. "The temple as we see it was built between 421 and 406 BC."
They walk around the building looking at from all angles. Arie tells them all he knows about the building. This time they all stay together. As they make their way to the Propylaea, they look at several other buildings before reaching it.
"Wow," Quinn says in awe.
"This was a monumental gateway to the Acropolis of Athens." Arie tells them.
"Can you take are picture?" Brittany asks handing Arie her camera.
"You'll send me a copy of the picture right?" Rachel asks as they huddle together for the picture.
"Of course," Brittany says.
Once they've taken several pictures, they walk through the gateway.
"It's amazing how this stuff is so old and yet still standing." Santana says as they walk.
"It really is." Quinn agrees.
Arie now leads them over to the Temple of Athena Nike.
"This is a temple to Athena and Nike. It was built around 420 BC and was untouched until the Turks demolished it in 1686. The stones were used to build defenses. After the independence of Greece, the temple was reconstructed in 1834." Arie tells them.
"Is that why it looks nicer than the other buildings?" Spencer asks.
"Yes," Arie replies.
They wander around the Acropolis for another hour or so before Arie takes them to their last stop of the day. They make their way to the Acropolis Museum.
"I can lead you all around or you can all just wander and I'll be here to answer any questions you have." Arie says.
"We'll walk around." Brittany says grabbing Santana and Spencer, pulling them away.
"I'd love to hear what you have to say." Rachel says.
"Thanks Britt," Santana says snuggling into her wife's side. "I don't think I could have taken another hour of Rachel."
"I could tell." Brittany says. "Well Spencer, lead the way."
"Cool," Spencer says skipping to the exhibit that interests her.
The following day Arie takes them to the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Panathenaic Stadium and Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Rachel asks tons of questions and Quinn is honestly shocked that Santana didn't try to kill her as she looked kind of annoyed. Brittany takes so many pictures they have to stop at a shop to buy a new memory card as she's already filled up the three that she brought.
"Can't I come with you?" Spencer pouts.
"No, you get to stay with Aunt Quinn and Rachel." Brittany says immune to her pout.
"But I want to go with you." Spencer pouts even more.
"Not this time honey," Santana says trying not to look at her daughter cause if she sees that pout, she'll give in.
"We'll have fun together. Have you ever seen Funny Girl?" Rachel says pulling out the blu ray.
Spencer and Quinn both mouth save me to the pair before they head out.
"It's nice to be able to go to dinner on a vacation without Spencer." Brittany says as they walk towards the restaurant which is only five blocks away.
"I couldn't agree more, though I do feel bad for leaving her with Rachel." Santana says so glad she doesn't have to watch Funny Girl again.
"She'll survive." Brittany says not that worried after all Quinn there too.
They walk in comfortable silence the rest of the way to the restaurant. Santana loves this about Brittany that they don't need to be constantly talking to each other. They can just be quiet together.
"After you ma' lady," Santana says holding the door open.
"Thanks San," Brittany says giving her a peck before walking in.
"Lopez-Pierce," Santana says to the hostess who pulls out two menus and leads back to their table.
"San," Brittany gasps when they reach the table and sees that there are roses and a bottle of wine already waiting for them.
"Since we don't get out alone much, I thought I'd go all out." Santana says blushing.
"I love you," Brittany says giving her a kiss.
Santana smiles as they sit down, proud of herself for making her wife happy.
"I can't believe you set this all up. You hate planning things." Brittany says beaming at her wife.
"Well….for you I'll do anything." Santana says.
They have an amazing dinner together and after decide to walk around a little before heading back to the hotel.
"Mami! Mama!" Spencer shouts running into their arms once the door is open.
"What's wrong baby?" Santana asks worried now that she left their daughter with Rachel and Quinn.
"I missed you both and I had to watch a bunch of Barbara Streisand movies." Spencer pouts.
"We were only gone for three hours." Brittany says.
"We only watched one movie." Rachel says from the living room.
Quinn whispers to Brittany, "Spencer irked Rachel in a very Santana way it was very funny."
"Come on honey, I'll get you to bed." Santana says taking Spencer to their room.
"She's just like Santana." Rachel says to Brittany.
"I know I'm sorry if she caused you any problem." Brittany says.
"Don't worry about it. I'd be worried if she wasn't." Rachel says smiling.
"Plus she's much nicer than San." Quinn points out.
"Thanks for watching her." Brittany says giving them both a hug. "I'll see you in the morning."
The next day they have Arie give them a tour of Mount Lycabettus, Ancient Agora of Athens, Temple of Hephaestus and Museum of Ancient Agora. Rachel has the most fun of any of them. She loves asking questions of Arie who has yet not be able to answer her. Spencer is bored the whole day with Quinn and Santana who all thought they spent too much time at each place. Brittany is with Rachel being happy.
"So I'll pick you all up tomorrow at 8 to go to the National Archaeological Museum." Arie tells them as he pulls in front of their hotel.
"Thanks Arie," Rachel says.
"I'll take her San," Brittany says grabbing their sleeping daughter from her wife.
"Please tell me we're going somewhere more fun tomorrow." Santana says.
"Yes, the next few days we'll be going to more modern places and you'll be able to shop with Quinn. We can shop for gifts." Brittany says.
"Good, not that I don't like history." Santana says.
The last day that they are in Greece, they have nothing planned. Everyone just hangs out around the hotel soaking in their last day in Greece.

"Thanks for letting us tagging along with you." Quinn says a few days later when they are meeting up with all their friends.
"Yes, we had a blast." Rachel says.
"It was better with you two coming." Brittany says smiling.
"I can't believe you let them come with you." Kurt says shocked.
"I want to go on your next trip." Mercedes says looking at Santana. "I can't believe you took Rachel and not me."
"Berry really wasn't that bad. She actually had some good insights on what to do." Santana says shrugging.
"Are you okay?" Puck asks.
"Why aren't you insulting Rachel?" Finn asks shocked.
Santana just shrugs, laying her head on Brittany's shoulder who smiles down at her wife.
"Actually it was strange; Santana was happy the whole time and never went off no anyone." Rachel says.
"She's right, it was strange." Quinn agrees.
"What? I can be in a good mood and not yell at people." Santana says.
Everyone looks at her like she has two heads.
Brittany just smiles, she's glad her wife didn't feel the need to go off on anyone on this trip.
