CHAPTER 20. Night Fury Squad.
[The scene changed from the city of San Francisco back to Oakland, where military vehicles and soldiers were preparing themselves for another engagement.]
Doctor: Henry Haddock was checked into the Oakland Coliseum shelter an hour ago. He is safe.
[The camera followed a jeep vehicle before showing a tent that had numerous soldiers in it, a medical doctor telling Hector that his son Henry was checked into the Oakland Coliseum shelter a little over an hour that he was safe.]
Doctor: No record of Astra H. Haddock. Never made it out of the city.
[However, he informed the lieutenant that he had no record or info about his wife Astra. saying that she never left the city when it was being evacuated.]
Hector: Well, check again. Please. I told her to wait for me, and I didn't make it.
[Hector told him to check again, very much upset with himself that he told her to wait for him but he never made it to the destination due to the female MUTO attack.]
Doctor: They are trying to get everyone downtown into subway shelters.
[The medical officer offered his apologies, but at the moment they were all busy trying to get as many people as possible from downtown San Francisco into the subway shelters that were filling up fast.]
Doctor: I'm sure your wife is fine.
[He suggested that his wife was probably fine, walking away from him and going to a female colleague as they continued doing their duty. Hector was left behind, feeling very frustrated and helpless at the moment.]
Soldier: Lt. Haddock?
[However, that all changed when a male's voice called out, saying that he was looking for Lt. Haddock.]
Soldier: I'm looking for Lieutenant Haddock.
[Hiccup Turn To face Him as he was Called.]
Soldier: Are you Haddock?
Hector: Yes.

( Reaction Time. )
Seeing Hiccup Worried Sick For His Wife and Son.
Poor Hector He looks pretty worried." Sigh Ester.
I would be worried too, if I were in his Position." Said Kai.
Seeing how Hiccup On screen was Being Summoned.
And I'm guessing he's Gonna Be part of an Even bigger Picture." Smile Heather.
Man His Gonna Part of it Again seeing how he Is The Only Survivor On the Train Attack." Stated Kevin.
Yeah, I guess Ms Gwendolyn's Statement about Hiccup being part of this right." Added Fishlegs.

( Movie Time. )
[The camera switched from the tent to the inside of the Command Room, where a group of soldiers and Capt. Hampton was talking to them while around a table. He stated.]
Capt. Hampton: Okay, listen up! The male delivered the warhead to the center of Downtown. That puts 100,000 civilians in the blast radius, and we can't stop it remotely.
[A soldier Who has Black Hair and Blue eyes In The Name Of Erik Dela Treacher picked up that the warhead was retro-fitted with an analog timer, which would keep it ticking despite the MUTO's EMP effect that went to a five-mile bubble radius.]
Erik: An analog timer has been installed. The MUTOs are frying electronics within a five-mile bubble.
[However, it was due to said bubble effect that made any kind of approach from the ground not an option.]
Erik: Means approaching from ground is not an option.
[That is why the only option was to do a HALO maneuver, going high into the air about 30,000 feet and dropping down!]
Erik: That's why we'll be conducting a HALO insertion. Jumping altitude. Will be 30,000 feet.
[The camera went to the map table, where it showed a map of the California area with a clear plastic container being a model for the MUTO's EMP effect.Erik tapped the top center of the object, saying that is where they would make their jump.]
Erik: We just skate to the top and drop. Here. And here.
[He added that if any of them managed not to hit a skyscraper on the way down, to meet at a rally point that was in code.]
Erik: If you don't hit a skyscraper on the way, meet at rally point Charlie. Right here. Good?
[One of the soldiers asked Dr. Tennyson who was nearby, on any guesses where to find the warhead.]
Soldier: Doctor, any guesses where to look?
[The camera turned to show the soldiers now looking at the Japanese Accent doctor, who was shown along with Dr. Graham by his side.]
Ben: Underground.
[The Former Shapeshifting Hero now Doctor to start looking underground, stating that if the giant insects have spawned they will be building a nest.]
Ben: If the MUTOs have spawned they'll be building a nest.
[Admiral Stenz looked to the captain of the outfit and asked when they found the warhead, how long would it take to disarm it.]
Stenz: Captain, when you find the warhead how long to disarm it?
[Sadly Corporal Treacher who is the leader of the group answered that without seeing the analog module, he couldn't make even a wild guess.]
Erik: Without seeing the analog mod, I couldn't even guess.
[A familiar voice picked up, the soldier saying that he would only need sixty seconds if he could access the module… as it was he who retro-fitted the device itself into the nuke. It was Hector!]
Hector: Sixty seconds if I can access it.
I retrofitted that device myself.
[The Young Haddock was shown to all as the camera turned to him! Capt. Hampton reported that the EOD tech officer was the only survivor of the train attack from earlier.]
Capt Hampton: Lieutenant Haddock is our only EOD tech to survive the train attack.
[The Corporal stated that it sounds like they could really use Hector at the moment.]
Erik: Well, it sounds like we could use you.
[A young private asked, with all due respect of course, that if the plan to disarm the device did not work then what was Plan B.]
Private: With all due respect if that doesn't work, then what's Plan B?
[The captain answered that the waterfront near the location was one klick downhill; the plan was to get the bomb to the pier, onto a boat that was docked nearby… and to send it far away from the city as much as possible before it exploded.]

[After a moment of silence, Russell asked if there was any questions but Before They Could Answer Ben Lean To Graham and whispered about something to Make a Call and bring whatever Device or gear They are planning to Give the Military.]
Capt. Any questions?
Ben: If I may Captain I would Give Your Man A Fighting Chance against The MUTOS Just In case that The plan fails.
[Admiral Stenz and The Captain Look At Each Other Before Nodding and ask The Doctor what's this about.]
Admiral Stenz: What is it Doctor?
[The Former Shapeshifter Hero Of The Omniverse Stated That They are Working on a Special prototype Which is underdevelopment That was gonna be used if a situation like this Happened.]
Ben: We at Monarch were Actually Developing A Weapon And some Protection gears. In case a situation Like ever Happen.
[Captain Hampton Asked on why He didn't mention it Before.]
Capt: And why weren't we Inform about this till Now?
[That's when Doctor Graham who answered as she Came in with four Men from Monarch came in with Two Hoover Chest Crates With a Monarch Symbol.]
Dr. Graham: Because We didn't Predict That The MUTO Might Hatch and Escape When We Contained for 15 Years, Or The Fact that These Devices Are Still Underdevelopment And Still Working Progress until now.
[Two of the Monarch Man Opens Both Crates One Seem To be Carrying Blasters of Sorts And One was Carrying Some kind Gear suits.]

[Some of The Soldiers Including Erik happens to Look like Jason Todd Red Hood from Death Of The Family Batman along with Hector H. Haddock 1st Took A Bunch Of The Blasters And inspected it.]

[One of The Soldiers Asked One what are these Things.]
Soldier: what are these?
[Dr. Tennyson Grinned as He answered Him.]
Ben: That's Our Latest Prototype Weapon NF 14 Plasma Rifle Blaster.
Dr. Graham: These Weapons are designed and Built for the last 60 years Since 1954 to subdued The Likes Godzilla Nor The MUTOS.
[This Information Shocks Them Including the Admiral And Captain Hampton Who Look at Them with Wide Eyes.]
Erik: Wait Are you telling us that these Babies Can Hurt Them?
[Dr. Graham Shook Her head as Ben Sigh and Replied.]
Ben: Like we Said This Weapons are still Under Development.
[Dr. Graham turns to Him asking if she should tell them about Gojira's Atomic Breath Ben Gave Nodded.]
Dr. Graham: This weapon used to Replicate Godzilla's Atomic Breath.
[This Confuses them of what the hell did they mean by That as another Soldier asked.]
Soldier: I'm Sorry Godzilla's What?
[Ben Move Forward and Grabbed The Soldier's Blaster And Said.]
Ben: Atomic Breath, In 1954 We learned That Gojira Is Capable of Breathing A subatomic Plasma Beam That Can't just melt right through Anything This Weapons where Prototype 14 Times to Replicate it And try to used this To at least Subdued The Likes of the MUTOS Or Gojira.
[The Private Took His New Chosen Favorite Gun.]
Soldier: So you're saying that this Weapons or blasters was meant to be like one of Those Blasters From Star wars?
[Some Snort to His jokes and Dr. Tennyson Cracked A Smile.]
Ben: Something Like that.
[He said Which Stunned Them as Hector Step in and Ask.]
Hector: Whoa, Whoa Wait hold On? Did you mean that these things can do just that like in The Movies?
[He asked Gesturing To his Own Blaster and Ben Nodded and Dr. Graham Stated that this is why they postponed The Project.]
Dr. Graham: Like we said This Things are still Under Development around that Time.
Ben: Seeing How Primitive we are in the 50's we can't make that weapon Into Reality that time.
Dr. Graham: which is why we have to postpone and keep the project a secret.
[Everyone nodded Understanding the situation back then in The 50's They were Still Primitive That Time however One thing that Comes To Hector's Mind.]

[He was gesture to Continue.]
Hector: Why Do you Call It NF 14?
[Ben smile at the Young Man's curiosity and said.]
Ben: The Reasons we called it That was because Not only it Can replicate Gojira's Atomic Breath But It was Supposed to Be Based On A Dragon That is Black and Was quite famous with the Viking Origin which is your Ancestors.
[Hector was Stunned by the fact that the weapon he was holding was based on the Legendary dragon which was a symbol of their Family and His Viking Ancestors from Norway archipelago Berk isle The Unholy Offspring of Lightning and death itself The Night Fury it was Corporal Treacher who gave a small chuckle.]
Erik: Small world Looks Like I'm not the only Descendant of my own ancestors within Outcast Isle of Norway's archipelago Vikings.
[He pat him in the Soldier like they were Brothers or something.]
Ben: We based it on that Dragon Because we designed it to somehow Replicate Gojira's Atomic Breath but seeing how difficult it was back then. As well as this is our 14th iteration of these guns.
[It was now Dr. Graham That Spoke.]
Dr. Graham: We also only charge it up With Hydrogen Plasma Reactor Core As its Power Source.
[She said awing them as One of the Soldiers looked into the second crate which was Somekind of suits that was on it.]
Soldier 3: What are these?
[Ben and The others turn To him and Said that those where Basically a Flight suit a Replicated and Weaponised Glider suit that was based to what they have now.]
( Note: Basically The One I'm referring to is the One that was Used To skydiving And the one that was used in Transformers DOTM like My Wattpad Version just look into it in my Wattpad. )
( And this is basically The Flight Suit from HTTYD 2 Minus the Metal leg and it had more gears On In with a holster Belt on the torso that holds a somewhat Sword handle and A pistol. The suit itself has a Glider Attachment from it's arm to the Legs where the Glider wings that were put in. Picture is in my Wattpad Version. )
Ben: those are basically A modified version of your Glider suits the ones that were used for Gliding and Skydiving as for the helmet it had Echolocation Sensors and Scanners as well as Night Visions.
[We all see them putting on the modified Helmet Of the Flight Suits to test it.]
Dr. Graham: We also installed a Comm link on them for you to Communicate and the gauntlets of these suits have also some GPS Mapping Systems on them to help you track down The Target or if you got Separated.
[It was now Admiral Stenz that spoke.]
Stenz: Mind Telling us why giving them this Gears and Weapons?
[The Doctors Turn to Him and Ben Said that it would give them a fighting chance against one of the MUTOS Incase the plans failed or that The fact some of The MUTOS Spawns might already hatched]
Ben: We are giving This Squad a Fighting chance against the MUTOS or the fact that Some of their Spawns might had already after seeing them Consumed A lot of Those Nukes We already lost from it. Which might as well Give Enough energy for The Hatchlings to hatch after The Female MUTO Had Laid her eggs.
[The Admiral Nodded Before Turning to The squads.]
Stenz: Alright People, Let's Get real and Gear Up.
[Captain Hampton Turn to them as They all Pick up all Their Suits and Weapons that was given to them by Monarch and Gearing Up.]
Captain Hampton: Now for The Last Time

[Russell Asked Again If there were any questions but none were forthcoming. After a moment.]
Captain Hampton: Dismissed.
[After a moment, he dismissed them with the captain saying immediately to move out.]
Corporal Erik: That's it. Let's Gear up and move!
[Erik Ordered as they went out to gear up and get Ready for their Mission. However He decided to make A Phone Call. As they went out of HQ.]
Erik: You Guys Go ahead, I'm Gonna Make a Call.
[Erik Opens his phone and pic a number which shows a Familiar Viking dragon Rider Berserker As The Number's Profile.]
???: Hello?
Erik: Hey Babe Listen.
[He talks to his fiance As the soldiers left, Capt. Hampton called Haddock back as he needed to tell him something.]
Capt. Hampton: Lieutenant?
[He informed the Lieutenant that the soldiers had already been briefed… that there was no extraction plan of any kind. That if he didn't walk out from the city, no way to come back at all.]
Capt. Hampton: They've already been briefed. We have no extraction plan. If you don't walk out, you don't come back at all.
[Hector answered that he'll do whatever it takes to make sure the bomb was either disarmed or sent out to sea away from the city.]
Hector: Sir, I'll do whatever it takes.
