Pleakley: And what about your parents? I read that some people take re-vow weddings 50 years later or something. I mean, it could be incredible if your parents aim to be married up to 70 years as some people live up to 100.

Gio: I just don't like weddings.

Pleakley: (Pats Lilo's shoulder comfortingly) He's serious, Lilo. Don't fret about it now, and besides, time has a way to change things, even thoughts in mind as well.

Lilo: (Nods reluctantly) I guess you're right, Pleakley. Sorry about pestering you like that, Gio. (Looks to Gio apologetically)

Gio: Well... I accept your apology, but please don't do it again.

Lilo: (Nods) I understand. (Grins) Now, let's finish this load of food! (Murmurs of agreement rang around the table at Lilo's exclamation.)

Gio: Yes, because that is what we need to focus on, right now.

(The family went on to finish their meals, including drinking Pleakly's lemonade and other beverages, and soon later, they relaxed around by watching a movie and some episodes of a funny show. Right after the end of another episode, Nani arrived home, and so curfew began for Lilo and Stitch, heading for bed and pajamas. Pleakley offered to take the garbage out and put a new one while Jumba went back to finish his science book.)

Nani: Looks like the day went successful for all of them including you, Gio, huh?

Gio: Yep, it sure did. And...Nani, I'm sorry for being upset upon discovering the aliens here. I'm so sorry, and I...

Nani: (Pats Gio's shoulder warmly) It's okay. I didn't have quite your reaction when I met them, but I was surely a bit freaked out. They soon became part of the family, and I didn't regret it for I couldn't ever give them up! I am so relieved that you've changed your mind on things, through I am a bit concerned about something. I love your parents as they are aunt and uncle to me, but could they keep this a secret if they ever come here?

Gio: Nani...(sighs) I doubt it.

Nani: (Blinks) Let me guess. Because they're adults?

Gio: Yes...and they would try to kill them all.

Nani: Oh...But Mom said that Angela is open-minded, and what about your father, Uncle Robert? He's a lawyer, but he's supposed to listen to both sides of the story, right? And if you talk to them that the family here involving the alien experiments has been welcoming and friendly, they'd surely listen to you...Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten. The boys already adopted you, and Lilo loves you already. We would never forget or leave you behind. We may have only known each other for a week, but you've done so much for us, and we have encouraged you to accept the cousins and enjoy the summer here.

Gio: Nani...when my trip was first announced...did any other aliens on this island get informed?

Nani: The cousins? Yes, they got informed about you, not much per sec as I or Lilo haven't seen you since you were a kid until this trip, but enough for them to be cautiously hopeful that you could be part of the ohana, not be a jerk or bully, you know?

Gio: Yeah, I guess...

Nani: (Smiles warmly) Now you know, Gio...are you feeling better after that?

Gio: I...I am! (hugs Nani)

Nani: (Hugs Gio back, rubbing his back happily) That's the spirit! (Leans back to look at him) I love you, Cousin Gio. It may be only almost a week, but I am giving you aloha love.

Gio: Well, I better go check on the others. (walks down hallway)

Nani: (Calls out) Good night, Gio! (Walks down other side of hallway to her bedroom, planning to exchange clothes for pajamas)

(The scene transitioned to Gio entering Lilo and Stitch's room via elevator...)

Gio: Whoa, nice room, Lilo!

Lilo: (On her bed, twiddling with Scrump while Stitch on his bed on the other side, is reading the Ugly Duckling for the millionth time) Thanks, Gio! We all built it! Me, Stitch, Jumba, Pleakley, Nani, David and Mr. Bubbles.

Gio: Built it?

Lilo: Yeah. Believe it or not, but this house is Version 2.0. Our old house, Version One, it exploded.

Stitch: (Flops his ears backwards in shame) Meega soka, Lilo.

Lilo: You've already apologized for that a million times already, Stitch! Our new house is way better! And besides, we got more space, and Gio's using the guest bedroom which is a first! In the old house, it was only three bedrooms. But here, now is four bedrooms including Gio's.

Stitch: (Nods firmly) Okay-ekay, Lilo. Meega not bring it up again in future.

Gio: Wait...it exploded?!

Lilo: Yeah. It wasn't a gas stove thing. It was, uhhh, what did Jumba say? Oh, right, a blaster gun got blocked by a carrot. The pressure increased in the blaster, incinerating the already half destroyed house which Stitch and Jumba did cause.

Stitch: Jumba waka looking for me, and weega got into a battle inside house. Meega used punch buggy...Meega say soka to Nanee as that waka her car before she buy jeep.

Gio: Whaaaaaaa?

Lilo: (Giggles at Gio's gobsmacked face) That was part of my reaction. I witnessed it myself, luckily, I was far away thanks to Pleakley.

Gio: Well, I want to say...thank you, Lilo. Thanks for showing me that aliens are friends.

Lilo: You're very welcome, and I bet Stitch is grateful too, right?

Stitch: Ih. Thank youga for accepting cousins. They likey youga much.

Gio: But...how many did you tell about me coming when my trip was first announced?

Lilo: Just a few, and they soon spread the news, something like the Twilight Bark. After all, this is a small-ish beach town, and word can get around quite easily.

Gio: Who were these few?

Lilo: Sparky, Finder, and Slugger.

Gio: And how did they react to the news since they didn't meet me before?

Stitch: They waka surprised and little nervous, but they waka wanting ohana to be safe and careful like meega and Lilo so they spread news to other cousins. Day waka sure more chatty than usual.

Gio: Did they ever...worry about me?

Lilo: They were worried about the fact you would tell the mainland about them, destroying their lives and their happy places on this island. They just wanna live in peace and fun.

Gio: But...think about it. ANYONE from the mainland would do that.

Lilo: That's true, but when tourists come here, the cousins either stay low or act as animal helpers. And the grown-up locals who employ many cousins including Nani knows that they are friendly, and just want to be left alone when needed.

Gio: But...what if government agents came here?

Lilo: (Grins) Actually, they already know. Mr. Bubbles explained everything. It's all top secret...CIA, I think. You see, Roswell really happened...Grand Councilwoman was there.

Gio: What about the stuff they show in the "Men in Black" movies?!

Lilo: Oh, that is actually made up. I mean, memory devices never exist, and besides, there's lots of intergalaxic rules before any alien could come here. Of course, Earth isn't a favorite place to see...I mean, Pleakley must have said something to you that many, many aliens don't care about Earth, right?

Jumba, Pleakley, and Stitch are exiles from Turo, etc.

Gio: Oh...uh, okay. (hugs Lilo) Good night, Lilo.

Lilo: Good night, Gio! (Gio gets back up with a smile, and glances at Stitch who's holding out his book)

Stitch: Youga put book on shelf, please?

Gio: Sure...(takes book and places it on shelf) Good night, Stitch!

Stitch: (Waves to Gio) Nighty, Gio! (Wiggles and nuzzles into blanket, flickering his wall light off)

Lilo: (Giggles) See you in the morning. (Yawns, and turns over to face the window, flickering her wall light off, and soon, calm breathing indicates that they're going to dreamland, and Gio smiles warmly, and flicks on the nightlight just besides the wall of the elevator hole, figuring that they would appreciate the tiny light in case if they need to go to the bathroom in the middle of night or have a warm drink of milk)

Gio: Hmmm...I think I'll visit Jumba's ship...(makes it down to the first floor) Nani...

Nani: (Peeks out of her bathroom, a brush in her hair, now dressed in pajamas) Yeah?

Gio: Hey, can I go and visit Jumba's ship?

Nani: Well, it's not really that late, and you don't have a curfew yourself...Alright, you have permission to go. Jumba usually goes off around this time to double-check that the ship's locked down. Go ahead to ask as I could hear him lumbering around in his room like you are. (Sound of Jumba's footsteps coming down the stairs) Get him, Gio!

Gio: Say, Uncle Jumba?

Jumba: (In his pajamas with a flashlight off in his hand) Oh, bigger boy. What is being it?

Gio: Yes...may I see your ship?

Jumba: (Widens all four eyes in surprise) You being serious. (Smiles widely) Come on, then! You will be loving ship when you seeing it! (Heads into laundry/back door room, opening the door) I being excited to show you, bigger boy.

Gio: Whoa...(steps out)

(Gio sees the ship in the distance behind the house, standing upright on a hill, partially covered by trees from this spot)

Jumba: (Chuckles) It getting even better when you get up close! Luckily, it's only half mile from here. It bit further than it looking to be. (Pulls ship keys from pocket, pushes a button, and something chirps as lights on ship came on, not headlights, but inner ship lights in cockpit, dim in the dark.) Be not wasting time, bigger boy, eh? (Walks on into worn trail of grass and sand, turning on flashlight, not wanting to hit frogs with feet in way or whatever.)

Gio: Good thing I'm still in normal clothes! (follows him)

Jumba: (Chuckles) Do not worrying. It's straight walking up and over, no mud or water in area. That why I not care if I in normal clothes or pajamas around this time because dark night helping me hide.

Gio (nods): Alright...

Jumba: Almost being there now. (Grunts slightly as he steps over the hill angle into flat ground again, and smiles as he gives out a hand to help Gio walk over)

Gio (grabs it): Thanks.

Jumba: You being very welcome, bigger boy. Ah, here we are! What be you thinking of ship? (Flourishes with arm, introducing the ship) I be calling her Rose.

Gio: Well, open it up! Let's go on inside!

Jumba: (Laughs heartily) Coming right up! (Pulls out keys from pocket, pushes another button, and the ramp opens up from the bottom of the ship, landing perfectly on ground) Go on! (Gestures with hand, smiling happily)

Gio (walks in): Whoa...What the?!

Jumba: (Chuckles) This is being where I do most serious science stuff and bigger projects. Of course it not being same as old lab back home, but walls are explosion-proof, best I can.

Gio: How do you generate electricty?

Jumba: Three ways to doing that for spaceship. Mind you, it alternating day by day. Generating electricity is either solar panels, batteries, or radioisotope power system.

Gio: Do you have a food or beverage machine on this ship?

Jumba: Oh, yes, being in cockpit up there. (Gestures to slight ramp from lab to cockpit, and leads Gio to cockpit while pointing to mini fridge in open cabinet, nailed to the wall next to first set of chairs. In cockpit, there's like 3 sets of seats before driver and passenger seats.) What be you thinking of cockpit? Incredible view, eh?

Gio: Yep! Say...can you give me a flight?!

Jumba: (Blinks in surprise) You wanna ride?

Gio: YES!

Jumba: (Grins widely) Buckle yourself in, bigger boy! (Drops into driver seat, his keys going for the ignition while grabbing a belt buckle over him. Shoulder buckle stifles him) Ready?

Gio (gets in seat next to him and buckles up): Yep!

Jumba: (Turns key to the right, and the ship starts to rumble into a low-humming growl, and he then flicks a flapstick upwards, starting up the engines, the blue-green fire going on, and flicks a couple of buttons, pulling in the outside ramp and the ground stabilizers, and then grabs the controller down, which gets the ship upwards and going) Hold on, it gonna be good!

Gio: Whoa! (looks all around)

Jumba: (Laughs heartily) View is getting better if higher! Wanna go higher?

Gio: YES!

Jumba: (Smiles warmly at the fact that Gio is actually enjoying this) Alright then, let's head up and up away to the edge of Earth, and turn around, so you can have view of mainland. (Drives controller some more, going faster and higher, to the Karman line which is the boundary between Earth's atmosphere and outer space. Once there, Jumba does a 180 turn, facing the Earth, the ship almost floating within Jumba's control) There you are. What I tell you? (With a smirk as he's taking in Gio's expression as he leans forward, his eyes wide, staring in amazement)

Gio: OUTER SPACE?!

Jumba: Ah, now that another time. This adrenaline rush enough now. And besides, you see the edges of large window span here, take peek to see stars better.

Gio (looks up): You know...they say that the stars can be seen at night, but it can be different depending on where you are.

Jumba: We are well high above island, and view now includes mainland because when higher, earth becomes bigger yet small like snowglobe. Sun is still on mainland, but only like early morning, at least. Stars still around a few there while many, many here.

Gio: Uncle Jumba...before I got to where I am now...I...misjudged you and all aliens...I'm sorry for that.

Jumba: (Looks at him thoughtfully, then gives him a warm smile) You being forgiven, Gio. Any sane person possible to react same like you did. (Chuckles) Of course, I not blame you for scaring Gantu and Hamsterviel! You in my book for that.

Gio: But...I did chop off Dr. Hamsterveil's tail...

Jumba: (Nods roughly) Yes, you did, but you know that rodent betraying me. He wanting riches and power while I wanting joy and content work in creating experiments and inventing things. He...what was comparison?...Oh, yes, he like a mercenary, like selfish, power-hungry.

Gio: But...there is a balance to create to make sure when dealing with someone who wants both riches and joy...right?

Jumba: (Scowls) Kind of joy Hamsterviel would take is watching people make molehill they can't escape and making them miserable. And riches for him being in charge of whole galaxy including Earth even if he hates planet, and making people pay impossible taxes, etc.

Gio: No wonder you had to leave his side...

Jumba: (Smiles) Best decision I made in life. (Yawns lightly) Shall we take ship home?

Gio: Yeah, that would be good to do right now.

Jumba: (Grins) You got it, bigger boy. (Drives controller up and right, diving and edging carefully so ship won't get entry burn as they enter through skies, getting closer and closer to islands, and luckily, ship map already has the route home due to Jumba and Pleakley setting out in first place to capture 626 which took a different ending, of course) Hold on, need to slow down and park.

Gio (sighs): Man, what a ride that was!

Jumba: (Chuckles warmly) It indeed was being. And think, earlier, you say no to checking out ship after asking questions with ohana, and here you are!

Gio: Well, people do change after a while!

Jumba: I believing that, bigger boy. Now, we be going now. I needing to lock down ship. I am being bushed. I hear Noodle-head say earth term, and he say bushed meaning tired out. Is he being right?

Gio: Yes, that's right. (unbuckles seatbelt)

Jumba: Let's be going then. (Unbuckles himself, turns off the ignition, taking out the key; the duo headed down through cockpit, science lab while Jumba turn off lights one by one, and down the ramp into ground, and with keys, turn off the remaining lights, the controls for the ramp to come back up tight and locked, and double-checking with a loud click, the duo then head for home) I being glad you enjoyed ride. When you ask, I be happy to taking you out again and again. After all, summer is being fun and enjoying things.

Gio: Say...Where is Pleakley?

Jumba: Oh, he being asleep by now like others. Even with summer, we have habit to wake early, and summer means no wasting time for having fun or whatever.

Gio: Oh, okay.

Jumba: (Smiles) Do not worrying. There being many days you get knowing ohana well as I know ohana well. (Opens backdoor, coming in)

Gio (enters back door): Well...this has been a crazy day.

Jumba: (Speaks quietly so he is not bothering the sleeping others) Yup. You being used to craziness eventually. Craziness following ohana and we like it, keeping us on toes.

Gio: I...just wish I would've met you all sooner...

Jumba: (Smiles comfortingly) Me too. I thinking ohana would say same too. But time now is being better than never, yes?

Gio: Yes...(hugs him)

Jumba: (Hugs him back heartily) I seeing you in the morning, bigger boy. (Lets go, soon giving out a yawn) I being to bed now. You needing shut-eye too. Good night. (Nods and leaves him in hallway, heading upstairs to bunk boys' bedroom)
