Hello Everyone, it's been a while. I finally got the right flow of how I wanted this to go. This chapter is a little bit longer than I would normally do. But I hope you enjoy and will review. (Please keep in mind that the bold italic in parentheses represents time change and the regular italics are memory) Thank you for you patience...

"Water?!" the people in the Observatory exclaimed in question.

"Yes," Lucy confirmed, "I assume you have an emergency sprinkler system in case of a fire? We're simply going to redirect the water into Loki's container"

"You're going to drown him?" asked Tony, "Don't get me wrong, I'm all for it but-"

"Nobody is going to drown my brother. My niece obviously has a plan, isn't that, right?" Thor questioned, staring at her. His mind still reeling from the revelation that he had a daughter and Lucy had deliberately put her own life on the line to protect her. Even if it was to "pay back" his mother. Both his parents had made in impression on their granddaughter. One Good, and one Bad.

The girl nodded, before speaking. "In the Wizarding World, there are many methods of uncovering the "truth" in our justice system. The one that's most commonly used is the typical Trial; Judge, and Jury with Lawyers. However sometimes, like during a Murder trial. If the accused is being defiant or insists? The court will ask for administration of the truth potion "Veritaserum." It is said to be so powerful, that just 3 drops on the person's tongue with force its victims to dive into their deepest darkest secrets when questioned."

"But you're obviously not going to do that here," commented Fury, sounding a bit disappointed.

"I can't," explained Lucy, "For the simple reason that Loki is not of Midgard's Wizarding World…at least not anymore. He could very easily shrug off the potion and feed us nothing but lies. So instead, I-! That is, we (Mary Jane and I) are going to call on a far stronger Ancient power that has been on Midgard since the beginning: "Ahtohallan." She will help us sort Fact from Friction."

"And you need water to summon her?" asked Bruce.

"Ahtohallan, really isn't a person, she's more of a place. A magical frozen river that's actually more of a giant ice glacier in Norway, to be precise. But her so called powers can carry and reach anywhere there's water."

"So, Loki will be alright? as he is a Frost Giant," asked Thor, wanting confirmation.

"I don't know what a "Frost Giant" is but his true-blue original form will keep him safe, at least physically. No one that experiences the river's power is quite the same"

"A Frost Giant is what you turned into when you knocked your mother. It is what the people you are descended from are called… among other things" explained Thor carefully, making her eyes narrow. There was definitely a story there, but it would have to wait.

"So how are you going to do this?" asked Natasha Romanoff, still very impressed with how the girl managed to trick Loki.

"Just turn on the water," said Midnight, looking at Lucy who nodded as Nick Fury reluctantly pushed the red button on the side of the wall behind him.

Surprisingly, everyone in the observatory stayed dry but began to hear the intense sound of rushing water that ran through the pipes and down through the top opening Mary Jane magically created, waking Loki.

"Water? You would dare-?!"

"Shh!" said Lucy as it continued to rise.

That did it! The trickster "God" figured he had just about had enough of this. It was no longer fun anymore. Never mind his original plan, he was getting out of here! But when he tried to vanish, the room only spun around causing him to go dizzy, landing on his backside in knee deep water.

"Shh, it may not seem like it now. But it is going to be alright" Lucy continued as she knelt and threw her arms around him in comfort. Much to Loki's surprise.

"Who are you Mortal, really?"

"I guess we will both find out" she answered him as their skin turned blue resuming their "Frost Giant" forms. "Don't fight it" she whispered as the water was coming up past their chest.

Meanwhile on the other side of the glass, Harry looked on in horror. "They're going to die?!" He panicked.

"No, they're not Harry," said Midnight. "You must have faith in your sister. Just like she had with you during your Hogwarts escapades last year"

"That's different,"

"Is it? You both put your lives on the line for something you believe in?"

The boy slowly shook his head, "I can't just stand here. I want to help. What more can I do?"

"You can do this," answered Mary Jane, appearing out of nowhere with two large glass vials in her hands.

"What are those? asked Harry.

"The next part in the plan," she answered. "Now Harry, do you see the narrow black steps that lead to the platform on top of Loki's cage?"

He looked around before eventually spotting them in a corner. "Yes?"

"Well, I want you to climb up there and dump the all contents of these through the small holes at the top. Make sure not to break the glass. This is very important"

Reaching his hands out, the boy eagerly took them, grateful to be doing something other than just standing around watching. Beginning to slowly climb his way up. Harry only hesitated once as he looked down at his sister and their "Mother" before Lucy's eyes met his, nodding encouragingly. The boy took a breath and dumped the vials in, causing the rising waters to now become choppy and divide itself into two large waves.

"Hold your breath!" Lucy could be heard instructing just before the waves came crashing down on top of them. Transitioning into a whirlpool as the water now swished around the glass cage. Slowing down as this Ethereal song began to be sung and heard as the water froze over.

"Now, what's going on?" asked Nick Fury

"The Power of Ahtohallan, reflected in her lullaby" answered Midnight, through the sound system.

"It sounds beautiful, but I can't understand a word," said Steve.

"The language is Northuldran. It basically translates to: "Where the north wind meets the Sea-" She sang in tune with the other voice. As the song finished, the ice cracked and shattered. Freeing the inhabitants from its wintery grasp but not the memories, as the glass stayed in place. Revealing to them and others the hidden truths, reflecting back against the icicle walls:

*Loki's Memory*

(Odin's voiceover to child Loki and Thor) "Both of you were born to be Kings, but only ONE of you may ascend to the Throne of Asgard…"

"Look Father!" exclaimed a twelve-year-old Loki excitedly as he mastered the art of his daggers in taking down his weapons' instructor. The All father was stoic as he stood on the balcony looking down at his "son" in the courtyard.

"You have improved Loki, but a great Asgardian Warrior does not resolve to sorcery tricks to win his battles"

"But I didn't!"

Odin focused on him with his good eye, making the boy's head drop. "No Father, you're right. I did. I created an illusion of myself to keep him distracted while the real me snuck up behind. It was easier that way. Without magic, it's just too hard!"

They were suddenly interrupted by the thundering sound of horse hooves as Thor and his companions Lady Sif and the Warriors Three rode into the courtyard whooping and hollering triumphantly.

"Father I finally did it! Thor boasted as he dismounted and gathered a large bundle behind the saddle to place at his feet uncovering the top. Revealing a large swine's head with massive tusks. "I- that is "we" (gesturing to his friends) finally caught the wild boar!"

The All-father actually smiled at hearing this news. His eye now twinkling with pride.

"Well done my son. Bring it inside, for tonight we shall feast to celebrate your great accomplishment. "Loki…" he said now looking back at his younger son. "Just keep practicing and one day you'll be as great as your brother…"

(Time and time again, the pattern seemed to repeat itself. Loki would accomplish something in his own time, in his own way. Odin would "gently" rebuke his crafty son for not doing it "The Asgardian Warrior" way. Then Thor, "the favored" son arrived and almost automatically be given Praise for HIS giant feats. Odin's message to Loki was always the same: "Do Better and Be like your brother" Cut to Loki a few months later)

"Loki! Loki come back!" his mother Frigga called, following her son as he abruptly got up from the banquet table and left during the middle of his "Father's" speech of praise of his "perfect" brother's actions earlier that evening. "What is it?" she asked as he finally stopped outside in the garden. "What is wrong my son?"

The trickster gave a sarcastic smirk as he blinked away the tears that threaten to fall. "Don't play naïve Mother. It doesn't suit you. You know very well what is wrong. But if you absolutely must hear me, say the words, so be it. "If THOR was all Father wanted, then WHY was I born?"

The Queen of Asgard looked shocked "Loki…"

"No, seriously Mother. NOTHING I ever do is good enough. So WHY?!"

"Loki-" Frigga seem to be struggling with something she wanted to say, but ultimately decided against it. "I cannot speak for your Father, but you have always made ME proud"

"Always?" he asked, looking at her.

"Maybe not "always" but-" her voice lowered, "Just between you and me: I don't mind a little Mischief now and then" she finished, causing a tiny bit of light to return to her son's green eyes.

"Frigga!" Odin's voice called, "Loki!" They both looked back at the temple.

"I cannot go back in there, Mother. Maybe Tomorrow, I can go back to pretending everything is alright. That Father's pride and joy does not revolve around Thor."

Frigga just shook her head, disagreeing. But she also knew there was no point in arguing with her headstrong son at this stage.

"But not Tonight." He continued, "Can you please give me that? Tell Father I have gone to bed with a headache from magical excursion or something?"

Frigga blinked, "You want me to lie to your Father?"

"Just this once, Mother I need this"

"Frigga!" repeated Odin. The Queen looked at her son, "Fine, I will do it. But you had better make an appearance tomorrow Loki. You understand?"

"Yes Mother, and Thank you" he breathed in relief as she turned and quickly walked back in the direction of her husband's voice.

"I am coming!" she answered, leaving the young Prince seemingly alone in the garden.

...

As Loki rested his back against a giant flowering tree looking up at the stars, a slight noise drew his attention to the northern wall as a small figure made its way to the top and over inside. Loki stood up, "Sigyn? What are you doing here?"

At hearing the name, the figure stepped forward into the moonlight. Revealing it to be a young teenage girl, not much older than Loki. Dressed in a warrior's clothing. "Loki?" she questioned, removing her helmet, letting her long blond braid cascade down the middle of her back.

"What are you doing here?" He repeated.

"I brought you, an apple from Idunn's garden. Just like I promised," she said, reaching into her satchel and pulling out the golden colored fruit. "Here," she offered, "Could you at least smirk or something?" Noticing his mood, she paused. "Is everything alright Lord of Mischief?"

"I am fine," was his automatic response, trying to shrug her off.

"You know, for the "God" of Lies. You could sound a little more convincing," the young Valkyire descendant told him.

"Well, I shall try to do better in the future," the prince grumbled, wishing she would go away. Sigyn had been paying more attention to him since the last couple of feasts and quietly taken to following him around. And, no matter what ridiculous mission he sent her on. She always managed to keep returning fruitful. Oh, he was not in the mood for a pun right now!

"Sigyn, if I take the stupid apple, will you leave me alone?"

"Is "Alone" really what you want, my Prince?" the girl asked him slowly.

"Yes!" he exclaimed. "Very well, I shall go…" she turned and walked away only a couple steps before stopping and calling back over her shoulder. "Though, being alone is not going to give you what you want, you know. What it is you truly want"

"And how would YOU know what I WANT?!" Loki whisper yelled, getting right up in her face.

She actually smirked back at him as she answered, "I maybe Blond and a Girl, but my eyes and my brain work just fine Thank you. The question you must ask yourself is: "Is it WORTH it?"

"Absolutely, being King is what I was born to be. The All Father even said so!" the prince proudly proclaimed, then changed his expression as the next words came out. "But…I HOW can I prove to him that I can be a worthy successor…Or son, if he will not give me a chance?"

"Real love is not something that is earned, my Prince"

"Who told you that?"

"My Mother,"

The boy was silent for a minute, then shook his head. "How did we get on the topic of "Love-" (he winced) "in the first place?"

"Love is a be part in finding your Equal,"

Loki looked shocked, as she smiled, "That is WHAT you want, is it not? To be an "Equal" amongst your family? Particularly the "All Father" with Prince Thor?"

"Yes!" answered Loki excitedly, "That's exactly it!"

"And if the choice was between finding your Equal or Ruling the throne of Asgard? What would you choose? What does your heart say?"

The Prince paused, "Wait…What do you mean MY Equal?"

Sigyn sighed, "I am taking about your Soulmate My Prince. Nearly every being created has their perfect match out there somewhere"

"This is getting too weird," said the boy, preparing to dismiss what she was saying and walk away.

"Wait a minute! Please Just hear me out" Loki huffed, crossing his arms and waited.

"I would never jest about something as important as this," The girl declared before going on. "No amount of sorcery in the realms is going to truly change The All Father and his opinion of you, only MASK it at best. The spell WILL break eventually, and you could be more worse off. If you want something true, something Real. Then your soulmate will be the one"

Loki threw his hands up in the air. "If that's true? Well then WHERE is She or He?"

"Not here yet, My Prince"

"Not here yet?!"

"Why do you think I've been following you around? I've been trying to find them. To see if it was anybody here you were interacting with or that came across you when you were not looking. Tonight though, it seemed like you needed a friend or an ear to listen to. I figured I could at least be that while waiting"

"I don't want to wait!"

"My P- Loki. You took and ate one of Idunn's Apples not three Summers ago, according to our laws. You've got nothing BUT time. Now, I am not great at magic, like you are. But there IS a Summoning Spell that will let you know when it will be time for them and it will lead you in their direction"

That made the trickster Prince perk up, "I want to do it…"

(600 years later…)

"But Father-!"

"NO excuses Loki. The engagement is set" Odin's voice remained firm as he sat on is throne. "You WILL marry Sigyn by the end of the next three moon cycles." The All- father ordered before sighing, "Honestly boy, you should be grateful I am allowing you even that after the disgrace and threat you brought upon our family 200 hundred years ago"

Loki's face grew hard as he practically growled out his next words "My CHILDREN were not a threat until YOU made them so. Listening to that damn Prophesy"

"Watch your tongue Boy!"

"It is the truth"

"The Truth?" Odin paused, "What do you know of Truth? You are the God of Lies"

"Yes…But I did NOT get to where I am by myself" answered the young Prince, turning around and walking out of the throne room, despite hearing his father's objections.

He would never understand. Nor did Odin want to, his pride and joy still remained Thor. The great warrior Prince was still out there somewhere on another world, fight another vicious beast who threatened its people.

"Ugh!" Loki groaned, leaning against a pillar. He had been growing restless of late. Hence why the All-Father was in such a hurry to have him married off, in hopes of settling him down.

Odin did not want a repeat after his affairs with Angrboda. (May she rest in Peace) despite it not being a matter of love between them, there was companionship and a thirst for power. His heart however was always with his children. Just by closing his eyes he could still see them free, as they were before:

His handsome wolf son Fenrir, his mischievous reptilian son, Jormungar, and his beautiful daughter Hela, (despite her partial face deformity) she was still his sweet little girl. Their unjust banishment had nearly destroyed him but still there was that one glimmer of hope inside him that refused to die. Loki didn't know what it was, only something powerful. Pointing in the direction of MIDGARD of all places!

"Loki?" called a soft familiar voice real close by. He opened an eye to find Sigyn stand there.

"Now is not a good time," he said to "his bride to be" closing his eyes again.

"Actually, now is the PERFECT time" she answered him, causing his eyes to now open in shock. "What?"

"Follow me," she instructed, lightly grabbing his arm and leading him down another deserted hallway.

"Sigyn-!"

"Relax my Prince, I don't want to marry you either"

"What?"

"Surely you haven't forgotten what I told you so long ago about "Equals" and Soulmates?"

"Yes, and like an idiotc fool, I BELIEVED you." said Loki, getting mad. "I did what you said and cast the spell. NOTHING happened"

"Until now…"

"WHAT?"

"Do not lie to me, I KNOW you can feel it." She declared, "The restlessness? the tugging at your heart? the looking out at the stars at night, past Asgard? Your Soulmate is calling to you, my Prince. The wait is OVER…"

"You're sure?!"

"Yes," she nodded, "You know where to go"

"Midgard…" he said walking past her.

"Wait for me" Sigyn called, following him.

...

(on Midgard or Earth...)

"My mate is here?!" said Loki as they were caught in the rushed about streets of London, England. Not impressed with how these mortals spent their time.

"My Prince, it would be best if you stopped listening to the commotion around you and focused on where the spell is leading us" Sigyn suggested.

Loki wordlessly nodded as he suddenly felt some strange version of magical energy surrounding the man in front of them. Intrigued, the Prince and the Warrior followed him into a dirty looking pub where he spoke with the bartender in the back.

Muttering something, the bartender beat a pattern against the stone backwall before it divided itself revealing an alleyway with all kinds of shops and weirdly robed people but the magical energy had multiplied into the thousands with the crowd. Midgard had Seidrs!

That must mean his mate had magic. Things were looking up already! He would definitely enjoy learning about his equal's type of magic and teaching them his own! They would be the most powerful couple in all the realms!

They resumed following the same Seidr into the large white tilted building called Gringotts. Keeping their distance, the duo decided to appear to be getting in the line that led up to the front desk where a strange short creature with long ears and gnarly fingers was dressed in finery helping these Seidrs with their finances. The man they were shadowing had gone over to another desk, when out of nowhere, this small wimpy creature, dressed in a black pillow case appeared right beside him and started talking in an over excited manner.

"Oh Master Charlus! Master Charlus! Bitsy has been looking all over for you! Mistress Dorea ordered Bitsy to find you to tell you! The baby is on the way!"

"Master Charlus' face lit up. "Thank you Bitsy! Is Healer George on the way as well?!"

"Bitsy nodded, "He was the first-person Mistress told Bity to instruct"

"Very good, I'm afraid we will have to conduct business another time Bartok" Charles apologized to the creature behind the counter. "May your gold be prosperous,"

"As will be yours Mr. Potter" he grinned back at him. Master Charlus Potter grabbed Bitsy's small hand and disappeared with her.

"We follow them," ordered Loki, feeling the pull and letting his magic guide them and they too disappeared only to reappear on a neatly trimmed lawn of a huge estate facing a tall elegant manor with symbol of a shield and some foreign words written on the crest. It seemed like they were waiting for hours, which was true as night fell. The magic just kept telling Loki to stay where he was.

Then finally, with the sound of a newborn babe's cry through an open window. The trickster's heart began to accelerate, driving him forward. This was it!

Quickly and quietly, Loki and Sigyn crept their way up and under the window to listen.

"Congratulations my dear Lady Potter. You have a fine braw lad to inherit the Lordship of Potter Manor. Lord Potter will be pleased" remarked a man with a bit of a Scottish accent. But the woman's voice, while tired answered softly "I don't really care about superficial things right now. Just Please tell me if he's healthy, that's all that matters"

"He is indeed, my Lady" "Good…" she breathed...

(Later that night, after everyone had either left or gone to bed while the baby boy slept. Loki finally entered the room)

He quietly walked up to the old-fashioned cradle and looked down, speaking softly.

"Well…You're obviously not what I was expecting. But I am rather FOND of surprises, though they're usually for someone else."

At being awoken by the stranger's voice, the boy sleepily opened his eyes but strangely didn't cry, just stared a moment or two before stretching his tiny arms out and yawning. Loki smiled as he reached in and picked the boy up. Cradling him to his chest like he did with Hela when she was younger.

"You know who I am, don't you?" he asked, having heard that mortal expression earlier that day in the alley.

The boy giggled as the candlelight's flickered.

"Ahh! You have some strong magic in you My little Prince" said Loki as his eyes seemed to dance at the thought before darkening in sadness. "You know, there was a time I used to dream of find you and bringing you home to Asgard with me. But those dreams no longer matter. The important thing is keeping you safe, James. My… James"

He repeated the name, the boy's parents had given him earlier. The child reached up with one tiny hand to grasp the tip of one the horns on Loki's helmet as the trickster's head bent over him. The trickster was now grinning from ear to ear.

"You like this, do you? Well, this Helmet comes with a lot of responsibility. It is the symbol of… "Mischief"

Loki quietly chuckled, as James' eyes started to twinkle with excitement. "You have got a little Mischievous streak yourself? I would expect nothing less from my Equal."

The God was quiet for a moment then got an idea. He quickly placed James back in his cradle, before taking off his helmet and slowly lowering it down beside the baby.

"James Charlus Potter, do you have what it takes to become the next Prince of Mischief?" The boy gurgled as his tiny hand and leg made contact with the metal. "Well then…this is yours until we meet again" Loki told him before disappearing as Bitsy came in to check on the young Master.

...

"So now what are we going to do my Prince?" asked Sigyn as they once again walked down the streets of Muggle London. "I mean, you found him. He just needs to grow up some. The only thing I see that could possibly be a problem is his parents and Seidr or "Wizarding" society "as they call it here" prejudice against male and male relationships. It is not exactly accepted the way it is back home"

"Home?" Loki scoffed, "Asgard has not been "Home" to me for a while. The only beings that might make is so is Mother and…you"

The Warrior was stunned that he thought so highly of her, but quickly pushed that feeling away before continuing with her questioning, "And what about your brother?"

"Thor is too involved in his own little world of playing "the Hero." He hardly notices me.

Father, just wants me under his controlling thumb. He stopped caring about my happiness centuries ago. By either banishing or enslaving my children…"

They finally pulled free from the crowd and squeezing by into an empty alleyway. Loki broke down as he thought of the one son, he had left in Asgard, that he was restricted from seeing.

His poor Selipnir, condemned to the stables. Doomed to be forever trapped in his eight-legged equestrienne form while he paradises around his jackass of a Grandfather on his back. Though Loki supposed he had a hand in this, being so young and desperate while trying to convince his father that Selipnir was no more then a regular dumb animal from his tryst as a mare with the stallion Svadilfari. At the time, Odin had been less then pleased but agreed as he began how with magnificent a beast his son was despite his initial breeding. Loki remembered being so mad at that comment but choosing not to say anything that would endanger Selipnir.

He could not and Would NOT make the same mistake with James. "I am staying,"

"What?" she couldn't be hearing him right.

"I am not returning to Asgard. The Wizarding World of Midgard is James' home and the Potter Lordship is his birthright. I will not take it from him. I've been here before, though it was quite a few centuries ago but I can acclimate. Plus, actually living in the magical parts this time around will make things a whole lot easier to blend in. Yes…yes that's what I'll do"

"But Prince Loki, how will you get around the rules?"

He smirked, "Have you really learned nothing from me? The so called "Rules" were made to be bent and broken.

Now, let me see…No Man and Man relationships are encouraged and appearances can be deceiving, so I simply will become a woman. Not the first time I have played the part of the female, I assure you"

"Umm you might want to consider the age group James will be in. His parents would not likely welcome a female that looks ten to twenty years older than their son. One of the words I have heard here to describe that is a "Cougar." Of course it would be easier if you just grew up with him?"

The Trickster's eyes sparkled as he started to head out of the alley. "Wait! I was only jesting!"

"A brilliant idea!" He proclaimed, grabbing her hand as they vanished to only reappear this time in a mortal Hospital.

...

"What are we doing here?"

"It's obvious isn't it" said Loki, before asking a young woman behind the desk where the baby section was at this establishment.

The receptionist looked over at Sigyn, "New Parents?"

"Yes," said Loki with a wink, "The infant to be adopted is said to be here"

The woman smiled in relief, now understanding the situation. "The maternity Ward is on the fourth floor. Down the blue marked hallway to the left. What is the name of the family you are trying to meet? I can tell you if they're here or not"

"No thank you, I am sure we can find them" Loki answered before turning to Sigyn and gently grabbing her hand. "Come along my dear," he said leading them in the direction the receptionist had given them.

"Please release my hand," asked the Warrior when they were far enough away.

"Gladly," the Prince answered, letting go.

"So, what exactly is the plan?" she questioned as they arrived. "Besides, you obviously turning into a baby and me leaving you here. Don't tell me the All-Father will not get suspicious and start looking for you. And if he finds you, then what?"

"-He WON'T be able to take Father," said a voice, causing them to turn around a young woman leaning against the wall in a black gothic dress with a matching veil over her head. Sigyn was stunned while Loki softly smirked.

"Hela" he replied, his voice so filled with love.

The goddess pulled back her veil, revealing her entire face. The good and the bad and smiled. "Hello Father,"

"What are you doing here? I thought Odin banished you to Niflheim"

His daughter shook her head, "Father, he did banish me there but I am also the Goddess of Death and there is work here for me to do. Not every birth or "operation" as they call it here is a success. Somebody has to escort the poor souls that don't make it. Today it is my turn…. I am currently here for little miss Lily Rose Evans,"

Hela gestured to the pretty little redhead in the incubator hooked up to all kinds of tubes and wires, facing the glass window behind them.

"Poor thing, she's just three months old and an infection in her lungs has made her take a turn for the worst. The doctors keep trying everything they can but there not much hope. She will die. In an hour at most" she sighed. "So, what are YOU doing here? You mention something about turning into a baby? Why would you want to do that, unless it's a prank?"

With a heavy sigh, Loki told his daughter about James and the truth of what it was destined between them.

It was Hela's turn to sigh, "You know I don't like fate or prophesies. But if your soulmate truly is this "James". Then you deserve a chance to be happy and I will help you anyway I can. Starting with this-" she said, holding out a vial of tinted pink bubbling liquid.

"What is that?" asked Sigyn winkling her nose.

"The answer to your problem of the All-Father finding you" she said looking at her Father. "The only for sure way to get what you want, is to BECOME a mortal Wizard or "Witch" yourself"

"But most mortals only live a hundred years." he objected,

"Yes, it would be a short time, compared to that of a "God" but… you will be FREE. Free of Odin and Free of the memories. The potion makes you forget Everyone and Everything from your past, so you can start anew… with James. You found him once before, I have no doubt you'll do it again. And even if the All-Father did find you. He wouldn't be able to do anything until your mortal self-dies. For he has that rule of No Mortals ALLOWED on Asgard," his daughter smirked.

Loki paced; this was a good deal. The only thing that made him hesitate was the thought of Frigga. He closed his eyes and prayed she would understand.

"I will take it," He said, just as the emergency alarm went off in Lily Evans room. Hela pried herself off the wall before she too went in, posing as a nurse as her clothes changed. Loki followed her, catching a glimpse of the devastated young family of three: the girl's parents and an older girl.

"They don't have to lose their daughter," he whispered to Hela.

"What?" she asked turning in his direction only to find a replica of baby Lily lying on the changing table next to her. "You are crazy Father, Hella remarked as she bent over and grabbed a syringe taking blood from the real "Lily" and injecting it into her copy, along with the mortality potion they'd talked about.

Hela watched as "Lily's" pupils dilated and shrank as a healthy pink tone began to spread across the child's body. "Be happy," she whispered, giving one last kiss before replacing and taking the dying soul with her.

"How are you able to do that? Why didn't the mortals react to seeing you?" asked Sigyn in wonder.

"They can't SEE me, they can only feel my presence, sometimes. Be happy, young Warrior. One person's ending is another's beginning…"

*End of Loki's Memory*
