"They're on their way!" Yelled Saiko

"Good. Everything is going as planned. Ryoto will come with reinforcements, find us then fight us. He'll most likely be with the kid that can cancel magic." Said Shinso with his hands on his chin "Good. I'll let you take care of the others."

"I'll just wipe out the whole village while I'm at it." Said Saiko

"Do what you want with the rest. Although now that I think about it, there is also a woman that has the power to change fate." Said Shinso, his eyes glowing green "keep her alive as well. She could be useful."

"Understood!" Yelled Saiko

Meanwhile

Asta's group had begun to search the area. They were headed towards the east, near a small mountainside.

"Okay they should be here." Said Ryoto

"Are you sure?" Said Asta "because I can't sense any Ki."

"I don't sense any magic either." Said Mereoloena

"I know that." Said Ryoto as he turned around "sorry about this."

Ryoto then swished his fingers in the air. Asta and Mereoleona fell down on the floor, their bodies being paralyzed from the waist down.

"What the hell?!" Yelled Mereoleona

"What're you doing?" Asked Asta

"Sorry, but I can't have other people fighting with me. You all have nothing to do with this. The spell keeping you down will wear off in a while." Said Ryoto "Besides I think you both would be useless in helping the others. I know Mereoleona is strong but her attacks would basically get eaten. You wouldn't be of much help either Asta."

Mereoleona tried to activate her magic only for it to not work. Asta got his sword from his grimoire and tried to hit his arm with it to undo the spell. However it did not work.

"What the-?"

"If you're trying to use your sword, sorry to break this to you but it won't work." Said Ryoto "I've made it so that the magic is flowing around your body constantly, so that if you use your sword it'll automatically make a space where your sword will hit. I've even made it especially for your demon powers Asta."

"Why're you doing this?!" Asked Asta

"I already told you didn't I?" Said Ryoto "I can't have you both fighting a fight that you shouldn't be in."

"The hell are you talking about?!" Yelled Mereoleona

"Nothing you need to know." Said Ryoto disappearing

"Dammit!" Said Mereoleona punching the ground

'Why is he always so secretive?' Thought Mereoleona 'we're supposed to be on the same team!'

About five minutes later Ryoto landed on the west mountainside. His eyes glowed purple as he looked through the mountain and saw one person standing inside a cave. He walked inside and through the hall and entered a giant room.

"So you're finally here." Said Shinso

"Yeah I am." Said Ryoto

"Alone, I see." Said Shinso "not smart. You could've chosen to have others help but you chose not to."

"You know, you're a bit of a smartass. You know that?" Said Ryoto "you said we'd fight in a year! But look where we are now. It hasn't even been that long and yet you're planning to kill me right now."

"Shut up. You damn idiot!" Yelled Shinso

Shinso then rushed towards Ryoto at an incredible speed. Ryoto zoomed past Shinso with lightning surrounding his body, his eyes glowing pink. Shinso took out a knife from his sleeve and went towards Ryoto hitting him in the stomach and almost stabbing him in the arm. Ryoto then put his hands on the ground and made pillars of stone appear from the ground.

Shinso ran and jumped on top of the pillars and jumped down towards Ryoto. He engulfed his fist with flames and began to shoot fire at Ryoto in bursts. Ryoto dodged them and began to charge electricity in his arms. He jumped towards Shinso and hit him, sending him backwards into the wall. Shinso got up quickly. He put his two arms in the air and engulfed the room in flames. Ryoto took this chance and made a ball of water and electricity that constantly circulated, in the palm of his hand. He went towards Shinso, putting his hand out. Shinso smirked as he shifted from his place and grabbed Ryoto's arm and twisted it.

Ryoto yelped in pain as his arm was broken. Ryoto then jumped and kicked Shinso's head and chest. Shinso lost his footing and tripped. He swung his legs under Ryoto trying to trip him. Ryoto flipped backwards and shot bolts of fire towards Shinso. The Reaper caught the fire and swung it back to Ryoto. The flames hit Ryoto and caused an explosion, causing smoke to blind Shinso.

Ryoto then disappeared and multiple clones took his place. The clones jumped through the smoke. Shinso rushed towards them swinging his knife and slashing through the clones. The remaining clones then rushed towards Shinso. They all had a ball of water and electricity in their hands. Shinso dodged one of the clones and impaled him through the chest incinerating the clone. He grabbed the next clone and slashed its neck, making the clone dissolve. He grabbed another clone that came towards him and made it hit itself with the ball of water.

The real Ryoto then appeared behind him, grabbing Shinso by the neck. Ryoto grabbed his head and twisted his neck. Shinso looked back at Ryoto, his head completely backwards. Ryoto then jumped back and snapped his fingers, lighting Shinso on fire. Ryoto jumped up, sticking to the wall.

"Ah the pain!" Yelled Shinso in agony "make it stop!"

'Did I-' thought Ryoto for a split second before activating a shield of water 'I know better than that.'

"Just kidding." Said Shinso in a childish tone

Shinso then jumped up towards Ryoto, vaporizing his shield with flames. Ryoto quickly moved through Shinso and put his palm on the Reapers back. Ryoto surrounded his palm with water and mixed it with electricity. Shinso then flipped over Ryoto landing on the ground. Ryoto flooded the room with water extinguishing the flames while going in a spiral around the room. The water spiral then began to get charged with electricity.

Shinso then threw his knife at Ryoto at an astonishing speed. The knife pierced Ryoto's thigh making it bleed uncontrollably. Ryoto put his hands together encapsulating Shinso in multiple layers of rock.

'That should buy me some time.' Thought Ryoto

Ryoto took out the knife and used water healing, only for it to not work.

'Not this again!' Thought Ryoto 'I guess I have no choice! I'm going to have to…'

Ryoto put his hand on his thigh and bit down on his shirt. His palm started to heat up. He was planning on sealing the wound by cauterizing it.

"Flame inferno." Said Shinso from inside the layers of rock.

'Crap!' Thought Ryoto as he took off his hand from his thigh

The rock exploded with flames escaping everywhere. Shinso appeared in the middle of all the flames with his body on fire, his left eye closed, showing his glowing red eye. He drew a circle with his finger in the air which surrounded Ryoto in flames.

'Dammit I can barely move my leg!' Thought Ryoto

"What? Can't move?" Said Shinso moving towards Ryoto "what a shame."

Shinso then dug his fingers into Ryoto's stomach, making him spit blood.

"Seal!" Yelled Shinso hitting both of Ryoto's shoulders with his left hand while keeping his right hand on his stomach.

A dark ominous mist then surrounded Ryoto's chest. Ryoto felt horrible pain all over his upper body. Ryoto felt as if he couldn't move even an inch of his body. He felt light headed and began to get dizzy. Shinso then grabbed another knife from the holster on his leg. He took it and started to stab Ryoto constantly around his entire body. He then finally grabbed it and shoved it into Ryoto's shoulder.

"Do you see now? The difference in our power?" Said Shinso twisting the knife "that's why I gave you a year. So don't come looking for me. If you do, it'll probably turn out exactly like this. One year. I'll give you one year. Then we'll fight to the death in...you know what? I'm going to keep that as a surprise. As well as something else that I'm going to keep as a surprise."

Ryoto then fell down on his face and got mud all over his face. He still couldn't move. His head felt light. His breathing was heavy. As Shinso was leaving, Ryoto asked him one question.

"Why? Why keep me alive?" Asked Ryoto "you could kill me right now. So why aren't you?"

"Orders from higher up. It was Kisho who wanted this. If it weren't for him...you would be dead right now." Said Shinso "it was his idea to put the seal on you. He said it would be more of a challenge for you. See you later. Ryoto. Don't disappoint me again."

Shinso then crouched down and grabbed Ryoto's cape and wiped his hands on it, getting blood all over it.

"I'll be taking this as a souvenir." Said Shinso swinging it over his shoulder

Ryoto watched as Shinso left the cave. He felt useless. He couldn't move his legs or arms. He could only watch as his enemy was leaving the cave with his wounds slowly healing.

'I can't let him leave!' Thought Ryoto 'I can't let him hurt other people!'

Ryoto's eyes then snapped shut. He was about to become unconscious. The only thing keeping him awake was sheer will. He dragged himself to his feet and began to walk towards the exit while laying his hand on to the wall to keep him from falling.

'Dammit! Not now! I have to protect them! I can't drag them into this mess!' Thought Ryoto as he fell down coughing up blood, punching the ground. 'Come on! Just...a..little..longer!'

A/N: So...I'll be posting at least once every week instead of twice for the time being. There are other things that I do that take up a lot of time. I also want to make these chapters as good as possible and to do that I need time to both write and proofread.

That being said, this'll probably only be for the next six weeks or so.
