I don't own Harry Potter, or any related characters, and I'm not making any money off this.

Chapter 25: School Days
===September 1 2009===
Hermione paces their bedroom at the early hours of the morning. "Mione, you need to settle."
"I can't help it, we're sending Teddy and Juliet to Hogwarts today." Hermione says.
"Where we both work." Harry says. "We'll be there if they need anything."
"What if they end up in another house?" Hermione asks.
"Just because we're not their head of house doesn't mean they can't come to us if they have problems." Harry says. "At the end of the day we are still their parents."
Hermione nods. "Sorry, I'm just so nervous."
"So am I." Harry says. "I keep asking myself questions. How am I going to remain objective and not play favorites when they are in my class? Is being a Potter going to be a blessing or a curse for Juliet?"
"I didn't know you worried too." Hermione says.
"I just do a better job of hiding it." Harry chuckles. "I just keep hoping that a sadistic megalomaniac doesn't try and kill then every year."
Hermione laughs. "I'm pretty sure that was just you."
Harry nods. "Why don't you go check on them then I'll see if I can't help you relax?" He grins.
Hermione nods, then heads out of their room. She comes back and sits on the bed with a sigh. "They're cuddled up in Juliet's bed together, again."
"One of them must have had a nightmare again." Harry says. "Plus this is the last night that they can do that."
"True, other students would talk."
"Plus Teddy can't get to the girls dorm." Harry says. "Wait, he's a metamorphmagus, if he turns himself into a girl would it let him up the stairs?"
"I doubt it," Hermione replies. "Polyjuice doesn't work that way, so I doubt his ability would fool the charm."
"True."
"Though technically there's nothing stopping Juliet from going to Teddy." Hermione points out.
"I always found it amusing that the castle thought girls were more trustworthy than boys."
"Not every teen boy has a heart of gold that couldn't take advantage of a teen girl." Hermione says then kisses him.
Harry kisses her back. "I may have a heart of gold, but I definitely wouldn't mind taking advantage of a smart, beautiful young woman."
Hermione grins and kisses him again. "Go right ahead, I'll let you."
They left their other children at the primary school / daycare before heading to platform 9 ¾ with Teddy and Juliet. They stand watching their eldest children stare in awe at the Hogwarts Express. Hermione smiles at Juliet, remembering herself at that age. Juliet has her same bushy brown, nearly uncontrollable hair. Juliet just uses a headband to keep it out of her face. Juliet also has their father's blue eyes.
Next she looks at Teddy. His metamorphmagus abilities make it impossible for her to know what he really looks like. Since they first adopted him he has nearly constantly changed his appearance to go along with whomever held him. He currently has his hair short, messy and black, matching Harry's. His eyes are Tonks. He turns and smiles at Hermione, his eyes turn to hers, then back to Tonks' before turning back to the train.
Memories of the first time seeing this very train in the forefront of their minds. Harry takes Hermione's hand and squeezes it gently as they both recall their first meeting in a cabin on this very train.
"Do you two ride the train too?" Juliet asks.
Harry shakes his head. "We apparate to our offices, it's how we are home every night. Our office doors are charmed to alert us if someone comes knocking. We can be there at a moment's notice."
Juliet nods. "And we can come to you even if we don't end up in Gryffindor right?"
"Of course." Harry says.
"Remember we're not going to get you out of trouble." Hermione says. "So stay out of trouble."
"Or don't get caught?" Teddy asks.
"No Teddy, it's or save the school in the process." Juliet says. "After all it worked for them. "
"You know we didn't have a choice most of the time." Harry says. "We went to the professors, and they didn't believe us."
"And I suppose if I told you Professor Malfoy was brewing a mind control potion?" Juliet asks.
"I'd accompany you down to Professor Malfoy and we'd discuss it." Harry says.
Teddy laughs. "Told you so."
"Now on the train you two." Harry says
Harry and Hermione are sitting at the professors table when the first years are brought in. They see Teddy and Juliet looking around the great hall in awe. Hermione smiles, she had told them what to expect, yet they were still surprised. They line up and Flitwick begins calling out names.
"Edward Lupin!"
"I prefer Teddy, please." He says as he sits nervously and the hat is placed on his head.
"No need to be nervous Teddy." The hat says. "I won't put you in Slytherin."
Teddy breathes a sigh of relief. "Thank you."
"Where would you like to be placed?"
"I really want to be with Juliet Potter. She's either a Ravenclaw or a Gryffindor, I'm sure of it."
"Are you sure? I feel you'd do well in Hufflepuff."
"Please, it would mean a lot to me for us to be together."
"Very well." The hat says before loudly proclaiming. "Gryffindor!"
"Thank you." Teddy says before heading to the Gryffindor table. He sees Harry and Hermione grinning proudly.
After a few minutes Flitwick calls out. "Juliet Potter."
A hush falls over the hall as she sits and Flitwick puts the hat on her. "Interesting." The hat says. "So you really should be Juliet Granger, huh?"
"That's right." Juliet says. "You can read minds?"
"I read potentials, and you have a lot. You'd do well in any house."
"I'd like to be with Teddy please."
"Are you sure?" The hat asks. "Ravenclaw would love you."
"I'm sure, my sis...mother did just fine as a Gryffindor." Juliet says proudly.
"Yes, I tried to convince her she should be a Ravenclaw too." The hat says. "She didn't listen to me either. So mote it be. Gryffindor!"
Juliet breathes a sigh of relief as she heads to the table and sits beside Teddy. "So where did it want to put you?' Teddy asks immediately.
"Ravenclaw."
"I could see that. You're as brilliant as mom, if not more so." Teddy says.
Juliet blushes. "How about you?"
"Hufflepuff."
Juliet nods. "I'm glad we're in Gryffindor together." She puts her hand in his.
"Me too.
