Here's the next chapter. Please read and review love Moon x

A very confused and highly upset Hagrid was brought inside to the castle and put up in a room of his own while they dealt with his house although he was not told this was the reason. Magically every item which had been inside his hut was removed seamlessly and all broken pieces of items of which there were many were thrown out. It wasn't necessary to have so many empty and broken cages and things. In actuality things had just gotten busy over the years and he'd neglected his hut thoroughly. It hadn't seemed to matter but now that he was inside the castle in a nice large and clean room with proper insulation he was beginning to see it did matter. He'd often suffered with the flu and the condition of his hut was likely to blame for it. His hut was burned down and work immediately began on a new one. The wonders of magic of course meant that everything could be done fully in twelve hours compared with the weeks of work it would take without it.

The next morning the school was in entirely different shape than it had been. The school was a sentient building with magic of her own which had been designed to continually repair herself internally so long as the wizard or witch in charge of her maintained her wards. Once her wards were at one hundred percent she could then maintain them for you, you just needed a warder to get them to that level. The students had felt some shaking in the night as the wards were repaired and quite literally more light poured into every corner which had once been either dangerous or exceptionally dark. All of the dirt had been piled into one large room for the elves to clean later on. It would take them one month to clean that room but it would be worth it in the end.

As for the room of requirement all of the dark items which had been in it had been destroyed and all of the money within actually totalling a cool two million galleons was given over to the board of governors. They were totally shocked to get it but loved it none the less. Everyone would be getting a classroom redesign and a pay rise now. The only thing left inside the room of requirement were old books, clothes, jewellery and furniture which was left there for someone else to find another time should they wish to do so. Every fireplace in the school was currently roaring with flames as they burnt away the old wood of all the old furniture which had been replaced. As today was a Friday everyone was given the day off classes and told to either remain in their common rooms or go outside for a while if they preferred it. Dumbledore as a further punishment was actually going to be kept in until Monday morning. They would just tell him it had occurred on Sunday night to confuse him. He did deserve it after all so it wouldn't be too much of a struggle for them to do.

Minerva was actually relieved as it gave everyone enough time to update the school without his interfering. Each teacher was deciding how they wanted their classroom to look. Severus who was totally stunned to even get the opportunity to update his classroom was delighted. He had always hated the way it looked but Dumbledore had always told him to shut up and put up because he had saved him years ago and so he shouldn't be complaining about how his rooms looked. He decided to update his windows and had brand new strengthened windows put in. Then he updated the lights so his room was much brighter than it had been. He got brand new workstations for the students which had two sets of storage in them with one being for each person. In the middle there was a sink and at either end of the table were two glass pieces made from tempered glass. It would of course mean that he could see clearly what everyone was doing and it did prevent people from adding things into others cauldrons without their knowledge.

Last week another of his robes had been destroyed for this reason and he had, had enough. He was sick of his Slytherins always doing this and thinking he didn't notice. He was also sick of all the other houses thinking he didn't notice it either. The point is Slytherin was right but was wrong in how they expressed it. The point was to not be seen something they never seemed to truly understand. Above each station he lastly installed some pipes which would lead the fumes outside and meant more people would actually be able to see in his class including him. It was always so tough trying to see through all the fumes and he reasoned that this could even be why so many people got things wrong.

Filius went next in designing his room all over again. The main actual problem with his rooms was the old windows and his height. Most students couldn't actually see him and that did cause problems. Also he couldn't see them all and this did mean that he couldn't always tell if they did every spell right or not. He banished the rickety old wooden tiered seating system and sent the chunks of wood to the various fireplaces all over the school with the help of the house elves. He made himself a round platform which was very large and had all the new desks and chairs he'd ordered placed in a semi-circle around the platform so they could all see him and vice versa. The new windows and light fixtures made his classroom much brighter.

Minerva didn't have a brightness problem in her room because it was up higher so she merely changed her old windows and light fixtures for clean ones. She simply replaced the desks and seating yet again sending the wood to the fireplaces of the school via the house elves. The school was unbearably hot for the next two days as everything old was broken and burnt in the fireplaces. All classrooms had gotten new windows, lights and desks. It was definitely shaping up to actually be the best magical school in Europe now as oppose to simply claiming to be. Albus might not like it but his school was coming kicking and screaming into the future.

As for the Divination room it too had gotten new tables and comfortable arm chairs. Once the windows were clean and the lighting was replaced Sybil could see exactly how dirty her rooms had been and she hadn't before. It might explain why so few people got divination. Tidy room after all did equal tidy head so this might well be why. Also she took a trip to Diagon Alley finally deciding to have her eyesight fixed. She'd been far too scared to do it for long enough but was being brave and biting the bullet by doing it today. She had been told it would hurt a lot because it was supposed to if it was working and did scream when the drops of the potion were dropped into her eyes. It was agonising as the literal parts of her eyes which had not been working were burnt away slowly only to be replaced with brand new functioning parts. In ten minutes she was done and very thankful indeed. She had always hated procedures like that.

She had decided to give up the Sherry too. It would be hard going but she would need to do it if she wished to live longer. Something was telling her that things would get better for her if she quit cold turkey so that's what she was doing. Elsewhere Marvolo was stunned at all the changes which had happened since Albus' absence was extended. The new and highly improved wards did however mean he couldn't really do anything all that dangerous in his classes however he could speak freely and freely he would be speaking. His classes would indeed be interesting. He'd make everyone understand Voldemort's point of view in a way which actually made sense. To further fit in he'd changed his windows, lights and desks too in his own classroom. He was also interested to see what things were actually taught in DADA these days. What an interesting experience his classes would now become.
