The hallway was dark, lit only by flickering lightbulbs. The tile under her feet were teal, clean.

It was quiet with only electrical buzzing to break the deafening silence. The doors were closed. She continued to walk, her own feet bare. She was in a hospital gown.

Fluttershy began to feel anxious. It was like the halls and doors, even the floor was made from old film static. Distorted and old.

As she turned a corner, there was a child too, in a white hospital gown. The child looked about 6 years old.

Looking around, she saw no one else and the child looked lost.

As she went to approach the child, they put the heel of their wrist against their forehead.

That was familiar.

Something told her not to approach them.

She didn't listen.

The child's eyes and head were wrapped in bandages. "Um...hello? Are you lost?"

She whispered, not wanting to startle the child.

They turned fast, startled anyway. She couldn't tell the gender, but the child had point tipped ears and a white/clear quartz barbel earring hanging from their left ear lobe. They gulped. "Who are you?" He asked.

Fluttershy went to reply but the hall tilted, both staying in place but it sent her brain for a loop.

Outside, through a far off window, the sun was out, bright and blinding. She had to wonder why it was so dark in the hall then.

She took deep breaths.

With her eyes covered, she could smell only one scent. It was one she knew, but it felt far away. She heard the boy stumble and she removed her hands to see if he was okay.

He had one hand against the hall and the other stretched towards her, feeling for where she was.

"Oh, hold on. Don't. I'll come to you." She tried telling him, not realizing her voice sounded different, trying to walk but the hall kept turning and it was making her nauseous.

He shook his head. "It's okay. I'm coming, I can hear you tripping."

She tried getting to him anyway.

Out of nowhere he turned towards part of the hall and banged his head a couple times. "Shut up! She's...she's not..."

Fluttershy, even stumbling, tried hurrying over. "Don't! Don't do that!"

Before her hand could touch him, the hall stopped turning and a woman's voice could be heard humming. It was a slow, melancholic tune. Like a eerie lullaby, it sent Fluttershy's hairs on end at its creepy pace.

The boy stopped and turned fast, only to run in front of Fluttershy, stumbling only slightly despite not being able to see.

He was shaking.

Her heart clenched. She reached out to him, but a tall creature came down the hall in front of them.

The humming got louder.

So did the sound of heels.

Fluttershy felt a shiver. As the creature got closer, walking slowly, prowling, she could make out what she thought it was.

It looked like a Maned Wolf. But...it's claws were sharp and long, and it's fur was silver with a black mane.

The same earring that the boy had, was hanging from its ear.

The wolf got closer and Fluttershy realized. It was the wolf humming!

The wolf opened it's eyes, stopping the humming and bright, glowing yellow eyes, slit like a Viper's.

She couldn't tell what it was thinking. It...it didn't feel like an animal, when it locked eyes with her.

She went to step in front of the boy, feeling protective. The wolf stayed silent. It was an anxiety inducing silence as not even the paws against debris made any noise.

The wolf was maybe a foot away when the boy screamed, getting in front of Fluttershy.

"Mama, NO!"

The wolf lunged at Fluttershy, jaws wide open with shark teeth.

It never made a sound, as it clamped on Fluttershy's neck.

Fluttershy gasped, yanking away from where she was and found Discord wincing as he had a hand cupped against the back of his neck right after she pulled away.

He grumbled curses under his breath.

Both must've moved in their sleep, having fallen so on accident still in the bunker.

He removed his hand, checking and there was blood. She had bit into the back of his neck, she hoped not too deeply.

"I'm so sorry, Discord! Are you okay? I didn't mean t-"

"I'm fine, my Dear. Might just have a headache for a few days." He still muttered about it having hurt, but it wasn't directed at her. She saw he looked "pale" for a better word.

She leaned over, having been on her knees, and licked the wound. She felt the shiver that wracked his body.

Just to see his reaction, she gave a open mouthed kiss to the back of his neck after it had healed.

She froze with a heated blush when he let out a startled moan as he sucked in a breath. It was short but she heard it.

With a pause, she saw the blush coloring his own face.

She pulled away and cleared her throat.

"Can...can I get some clothes?"

He looked at her quickly, having to must've just realized how little she wore. His blush darkened.

"Of-of course, my Dear. I didn't-didn't realize." His voice cracked.

For some reason, seeing him so embarrassed over it was adorable to her. There was an embarrassing part of her that wanted to keep teasing, so, she did.

She leaned forward slowly, the collar of the shirt lowering to reveal more of her cleavage and scars. She tilted her head up at him, batting her lashes. "Or does Dissy like seeing his Dear in a blood stained shirt?"

She didn't expect him to bite his lip and cover his face with both hands. He sat up and tried curling in himself, letting out an embarrassed whine. "Don't...don't do something like that, IN that, Fluttershy."

It was like he was trying to hide from her.

Her mind began to feel that hum again. Like a buzz after having a few too many drinks. She got closer slowly and put a hand on his knee, causing him to jolt. He peeked at her through his fingers.

She knew she was giving in. A slip up. A small relapse. But how could she not when he was so cute? "Why not?" Her voice was small but her heart began hammering.

He made some choked noises but, because she asked, he answered. "Because I like it. And-and you s-still have dried..." a gulp, "b-blood on you."

She didn't move but her mind did drift for a moment, becoming hungry again. "What would you do to me?" She mirrored what Discord asked her the last time.

"Fluttershy." His tone lowered, a warning.

She nodded, trying to shake the buzz away. "I'm sorry. I'm not very good at-at following your rules. I'm sorry, Discord." She averted her eyes, only to feel him lift her chin.

He bent down, blush still on his cheeks and nipped at her jaw, from the corner of her chin to right under her ear, causing her to gasp, her whole body turning warm and she covered her face with her hair in embarrassment. She looked to him, alarmed, only to see a rotten smirk, his eyes hooded. "Revenge, my Dear."

She nodded quickly, understanding. She caught his eyes though and her breath stopped.

Both jolted when Discord's phone went off. He checked to see, an almost irritated look in his eyes. "Ugh. Chrissy. She probably has clothes for you. We didn't sleep long." He added as he checked the time.

That made her relieved but there was that dependent part of her that wanted to stay like they were.

They both got up and as he was dusting off his pants, she saw the white quartz barbel earring, a fuzzy image coming to mind, though she wasn't sure what from.

When they entered where Chrysalis said she'd be, Fluttershy saw she looked more annoyed than angry.

But, she took a breath and Fluttershy went to change. It seemed the only reason why Chrysalis didn't check on them for the 4 or so hours they were gone, was because she had to fight verbally with security to both let her out and let her back in once she got the clothes. It didn't work until she had disguised herself as one of them to fool the idiots.

Fluttershy came out in a black silk tank top, yellow roses printed above the breasts, a deep yellow cardigan, jeans and flats. Her hair was put up by Chrysalis. She had been able to get what blood there was off of herself and collect her thoughts.

She had to find a distraction if she was going to get pulled into her addiction.

When she walked out though, she didn't expect Discord to be snickering into his hand, holding back laughter. Chrysalis was pinching her nose.

"What're you laughing about?"

Chrysalis sighed. "He just realized you kicked his Boss' ass. Took him long enough."

Fluttershy didn't even think of how his Boss must've been recovering. He didn't have Vampire healing or a magical man that would heal him. She looked worriedly. "He's okay right? I-Uh-I know I was cruel. That wasn't fair."

That made Discord break into a laughing fit. "Fair?! My-haha-my Dear, with his kind you HAVE to kick their ass so bad they respect you. It's just a matter of when he feels up to talking again. We can't really go until then." He shrugged.

She looked exasperated at him. "What do you mean?"

He put his jaw in his hand, "which part?"

She rose a brow. "The not leaving bit."

He made a "meh" motion with his hand and rubbed the back of his neck with the other. "Technically you could, but I know you have some things to ask- wait! I just remembered. You bit his ear off." He looked at her wide eyed.

She...she really underestimated how his brain worked. He had been so angry with her, he must've forgotten what damage she dealt the Boss. Then realizing it after the anger must've passed, laughing about it and just realizing she bit (half) an ear off. "It was-"

She was cut off by Capper barging in, one hand in a grip around Sombra's wrist.

"Heyo ~ all! Boss is all patched up and done with his tantrum, so, little lady can speak with him again." He grinned so cat-like it was obvious he was happy.

He didn't let go of Sombra's wrist.

Last time, Sombra couldn't put up with Capper long, mostly from guilt. She grinned similarly to Capper, as realization dawned on her. "Ohh~ Sombra. Did you make up with your boyfriend? Embarrassed to have him hold your hand?" She put her fingers against her lips to "hide" her grin.

She saw Sombra glare at her, a blush dusting his cheeks. "Nothing of the sort."

Capper pretended to be hurt by the words. "My Majesty, really? After we reconcile after many a moon, you deny our forbidden fruit once again?"

Fluttershy snorted. "'Majesty'?" She saw both Chrysalis and Discord were trying not to snicker at the display too.

Sombra's blush deepened. "We aren't dating, Capper. And all of you, I have information. I can use it." He kept his glare.

Even as they taunted him, he just seemed more embarrassed than angry, like a family member being embarrassed by their family teasing them for their choice in partners.

Wait.

'Did he?' Fluttershy thought, a happy swell in her chest. There would've been only one way Fluttershy could see why Sombra would try and reconnect with Capper.

She ran to him and hugged him, everyone including him, startled at how sudden it was.

"I'm so proud of you! Does this mean you've made up your mind?" She asked when she pulled away.

He looked down at his wrist in Capper's grasp, pulling it out only to entwine their fingers, Capper's eyes widening and tearing up. Sombra didn't say anything, but Fluttershy knew and she felt happy tears well. "I'm so happy for you!"

Sombra was obviously unsure what to do when she hugged him tighter and her chest felt tight. She did hear Capper whisper to him, tone fond. "This is where you hug back."

Using the hand not holding Capper's, Sombra tightened his grip.

"So...what's all this about?" Chrysalis asked, pointing to them.

Fluttershy smiled back, but then turned to ask Sombra. He seemed to read her expression well enough, a feat to show how well he knew her, and nodded.

Fluttershy nosed his cheek as a thank you, earning a weird look from Capper, the other two knowing Fluttershy was a touch driven person. She turned to Chrysalis. "This means he threw away his family and chose for himself! They won't have any hold on him now. I'm so happy!"

Chrysalis and Discord looked confused. "Cutting ties with his family is a good thing?" She asked.

Fluttershy nodded. "I didn't understand why he'd hole himself in his room after returning, but after meeting them, I get it! Sombra deserves people who will accept him. Who will allow him to fail. Right?" She turned her head and he averted his gaze, nodding.

That earned a shocked but large grin from Capper. "Really? Majesty!" He hugged Sombra and they all could see how thoroughly embarrassed he was.

After a moment, Capper pulled away. "I wish I could've seen that."

Sombra nodded. "I would've liked to see how you would react to Fluttershy almost slapping my father."

Capper's eyes widened. "She what?!"

Sombra just nodded, not liking to repeat himself.

The other two didn't know how big of a deal that was, having not met Sombra's family.

"What made her do that?" Chrysalis crossed her arms.

Fluttershy thinned her lips and looked away.

Sombra smirked, having the upper hand. "She lost her temper at them for saying things. I knew to ignore the words, I mean...I've heard them most my life, but she found it unacceptable."

Fluttershy wasn't sure why he was smirking, when by how he worded it, it meant neither wanted to go into what EXACTLY his father said to tip her off to the brink of violence.

Sombra seemed to want to avoid Twilight's family and Fluttershy didn't blame him.

Capper's beeper went off and he perked up. "That must mean Boss is ready. Let's go. My Majesty, carry me." He said, wrapping his arms around Sombra's shoulders.

Sombra glared and the red smoke sparked, sending small laser bullets to Capper's feet, making him let go. He whined. "Ki~ng! Why?!"

Fluttershy was surprised at the lack of shock at magic, but maybe they already went over that.

She smiled, waiting for Discord and Chrysalis to follow as well.

Rutherford was definitely in worse shape. His ear was wrapped up, a bandage over his nose to help keep the bone in place and there was obviously an ice pack between his legs. Not to mention whatever bruises.

Fluttershy on the other hand, only had bruises and scrapes, Discord having mended her only serious wound.

They had entered an office, Fluttershy surprised that's what he used. When she asked, Capper told her this was used for "official business".

She sat in the chair opposite him and the other's stood around. Capper lazily leaning against Sombra, Chrysalis with her hand on her hip and looking at her nails and Discord stood right behind her.

"Rutherford admits his loss. What does small woman need?" His voice was nasally.

Fluttershy did feel bad for the most part. "I am sorry for hurting you so badly. You must understand that I was not going to back down and you didn't either. Anything I can do for you after our talk?"

He gave her a odd look. She tilted her head.

He shook his but continued. "No. Woman has earned respect of Y.A.K., so no need."

She nodded. "I just need to know who all the "Bosses" are in this damned Underground and how many."

He pet his beard, thinking as he sighed out a breath. "There are 4 Head Bosses. Including myself. Then there are lower bosses to them, though only one Head Boss has a "lower Boss"."

She nodded. She couldn't tell if that was reassuring or not. "Who are they and what's their jurisdictions?"

Rutherford put a hand up, then a finger. "There is Rutherford-me-, I work weapon and some drug trade." He put another finger up. "Then there is Starlight Glimmer. She wants no individuality in her underlings. Usually just those who are smart but know to follow strict rules. She is in charge of the more "shady" legal stuff that Rutherford does not care about." Another. "Then there is Filthy Rich-"

Fluttershy physically and visibly stiffened, her body tense and she fought off a growl even at the mention of him. She felt a hot hand on the back of her neck, the pressure a comfort. She knew it was Discord.

"-he works the sex trafficking rings among other of the more perverse side of Underground. He has one "lower Boss", though rumor is, they do not Drabble in the side of work Rich does."

Fluttershy snarled at him. "I'm stopping you there. Who's the "lower Boss"?"

She had to dig her nails in her hands to keep from trembling. To keep herself in check.

He paused, taking in her reaction. "Celestia Sun. I think she works in a school in the Legal World." He rose a brow, thinking.

Fluttershy heard the wood underneath Discord's hand creak and begin to crack under his hand. "Since when has SHE been working this world?" Discord asked, just as surprised.

Rutherford hummed, "Since The Madame told him to about...I think 2 years ago? Not sure why that matters to you, Dissy."

Discord huffed a breath through his nose, but kept silent.

Something didn't add up right. 'If Rich has ties deep in blood, who could have power over him?'

She tilted her head. "Who's "The Madame"?"

She saw how Rutherford locked eyes with what she thought was Discord, since it wasn't her own he looked at, but above her.

Then he looked to Fluttershy. "She is the-Uh-how you would say "Head Head Boss" or "Boss of the Bosses". She dabbles in all of it, mostly running this whole world herself. If she says it, even us Head Bosses must listen. She mostly sticks to Human Trafficking now, but not even her underlings know what she's planning most of the time. She is such a mystery only two people in all this world and Legal one know her real name. That all?"

Fluttershy thought for a bit. Something just felt off about it. Her head hurt. "Do the Head Bosses listen because they respect her? Because it seems weird to me that one person can rule this whole Underground alone without fear of being overthrown." 'Unless they have ways to.'

Rutherford shrugged. "More out of fear than respect. Like I said, she specializes in Human Trafficking, among other things. She has her ways without anyone realizing she does."

Fluttershy stayed quiet for a moment, letting the new information sink in.

So she had a few people to go through. Rutherford seemed agreeable enough, but he also seemed more steeped in doing his own work and Discord would've been at his throat if he were tricking her in any way.

The other 3 Bosses were another thing. She knew she didn't have Rutherford's loyalty, just enough respect to provide information.

She stood, going over and holding out her hand. She smiled sweetly.

"Thank you for the information. I will utilize it well and fear not. Discord can vouch for me that I won't tell anyone that you did so, in case you doing this was a not a good thing to do."

He hesitated, having every right to, but shook her hand. "We shall see, little woman. Here, before you go, our little Yona made you this. It is for victory."

He bent down, grabbing a folded piece of clothing and handing it to her. She grabbed it, unsure what to say.

It was soft, made of wool with rabbit fur on the inside. Fluttershy didn't quite understand the designs lining the shawl, though she did like the the burnt oranges and yellows woven in, along with the cartoonish, but still cute, wings woven on the back, though she almost choked seeing they were "Angel" wings, not bat wings.

She smiled largely at Rutherford, eyes crinkled and a small constrict in her throat. "Tell Yona I said "thank you." And that I'll definitely wear it."

Rutherford huffed, waving them off. Grabbing Discord's hand as they left, she was still smiling. She wasn't sure why she felt like her world grew just a bit more.

"You know...that means you're one of them. Kind of." Discord said as they all rode in Chrysalis' car.

Capper had stayed behind obviously, saying he'd stop by. Fluttershy told him to let them know beforehand.

Fluttershy looked to him, confused. "Why?"

Discord looked at her fondly. "You beat Boss but let him keep his dignity. There's a level of respect the group who saw, by extension all of them, have now. Some had shawls like you, others were different, right?"

She shook her head. "I didn't really notice." Now she felt bad.

He hummed. "The design along the edges are very similar to Boss' own shawl he wears on "official business". It means you're an ally."

Fluttershy didn't even realize that. She had to wonder why, but then noticed. It didn't have to be complicated.

They could accept her for simply showing what she could do. How she treats victory. How she treats her opponent.

She grabbed his hand in her's, fiddling with the top of his hand. She smiled. "Yes. Allies."
