The advanced class shuffled in and were surprised to see me sitting up on the front table and Professor Snape behind his desk already.

"Alright guys, today's potion is not exactly advanced, but it's super important to know how to brew properly. The results of an improper potion is...life changing. It was decided that I would teach you this potion today instead of Professor Snape." I chuckled "This is actually the most commonly brewed potion at home and this will be the first time it has been taught at Hogwarts."

That got their attention.

"I am of course talking about Contraceptive Potion"

Some of the students started shifting uncomfortably in their seats and I reached out to see what they were thinking. Unsurprisingly, the boys were thinking that brewing this potion was a witches duty.

"I'm sure some of you are thinking that you don't need to know how to do this. That it doesn't affect you. I assure you. It does."

I snapped my fingers and the instructions appeared on the board.

"While my handwriting isn't as lovely as Professor Snape's, please read carefully. The measurements need to be exact. Particularly the Belladonna. It's highly poisonous. Use too little and it won't act as a proper spermicide... yes yes giggle all you want...Use too much and...well, just don't use too much yeah?"

The students were pretty quiet as I walked around, correcting some measuring techniques. By the end of class, everyone has successfully finished their work.

"Now, please take a vial for yourselves. And remember that brewing potions anywhere in the castle other than in this classroom is forbidden. However, also know that I always keep a stock of this particular potion, so any stufeiin need should come see me. No questions or judgement."

"It's rare that an entire class brews an acceptable potion" After the students left the class, Sev finally spoke.

"I know! I mean it's a pretty easy one and this is the advanced class, but still."

"I think some of the students enjoyed you teaching the class. Particularly the students of the male persuasion."

"Im sure their regular professor didn't mind the view from his desk either." I laughed "But I promised Harry to go see him this period. We both have a free hour. You don't mind do you Sev?" I brushed his hair out of his face lightly. He waved his hand nonchalantly and I kissed his forehead.

Hermione Granger was in Harry's office when I got there.

"I hear your class was a success" Harry smiled

"Yeah. It went pretty well"

"I think its about time" Hermione said "I wonder what changed Professor Mcgonagall's stance on teaching contraception"

"It was Lexi actually"

"Really?"

"Yes. And Sev.. Professor Snape did NOT want any part in teaching it, so I got to do it."

"Can you imagine old Snape teaching about Contraceptive Potion?" Hermione laughed "I can't imagine him ever needing it"

"Oh I don't know about that" I clapped me hands over my mouth

"Wait...what?" Harry almost spit out his coffee

"I thought there was something going on"

"Wait. Hermione how did you know? I thought we were doing a good job keeping things under wraps"

"Oh no. You did. Trust me. No one would ever imagine you..and him... but I know you are both Legilimens and there were a few times where Professor Snape was lecturing and he...got flustered and stumbled on his words, which is NOT like him. And you started giggling. I kind of had a feeling..."

"Well aren't you perceptive. But you have to swear you won't tell a single soul. Neither of us wants this out for public knowledge"

"Oh trust me, no one wants to hear that. I think most everyone assumes you are still with Myron Wagtail. What happened with him?"

"Oh we were never together really. Just a bit of fun...Not that kind of fun."

"So..." Harry was cautious "How did all of this happen?"

"Oh. Um. Well for Christmas, Sev.. professor Snape..took me to London. Because he knew I was kind of homesick. We ended up getting smashed and couldn't apparate home. So we grabbed a hotel and we literally had the best sex of my life. After that neither of us could really deny the chemistry"

"Ugh. Too much information" they both yelled at the same time

"But we were kind of...friendly before that. I mean the first 2 weeks or so I was here, he was horrible. But we...I don't know...bonded. We both have...baggage I guess you could say so we understood each other. I can't really explain it."

"There's one person we have to tell. Because he won't believe it."

"Oh Harry please. I'm serious."

"It's only Ron. He won't tell anyone. Speaking of Ron, we really need to have a night out. Ron, Ginny, and us 3, and Neville."

"I'm down for a fun Friday night. Just let me know when. Oh I forgot to ask you about Lucius Malfoy. What's the story there?"

"Lucius was a death eater. His son Draco was in our year and he was horrible. His wife Narcissa...I don't think she was ever really into being a death eater but wanted to protect her son. I don't get the feeling they ever actually liked each other much. They just married because they were from 2 pure blood families.."

"What's up with Malfoy?" I told Hermione about Lucius staying at Sev's place

"But here's the thing, Sev got an invitation to Draco's engagement gala and Lucius wants me to be there...Sev thinks he wants to use me to make Narcissa jealous, but the weird thing is he thinks that that's the whole reason behind the split...so we are definitely curious"

"So you're going? And they obviously don't know about you and professor Snape. That's going to be awkward" Hermione didn't strike me as a gossip, but she was definitely interested.

"It's not like I'm going to sleep with him or anything" I laughed. "When we brought him to Sev's house, he was rather forward. If he tries anything, I can take care of myself"

"Well definitely keep us posted on that. You know Narcissa actually saved me from Voldemort. She's not a bad person. But Lucius...I think deep down he really is. I hope Draco starts taking after his mother."

"So Miss Lee .."

"Please. It's Alex or Lexi outside of class"

"Ok Lexi, what are you wearing to this gala?"

"I have to get something new. It's gotta be something super formal...I don't know."

"Why don't Ginny and I go with you. We can help you find something"

"Ok. But remember, she can't know about me and Sev. Please guys you have to keep this to yourselves"

"Trust us. You guys could be making out in front of the entire castle and no one would believe that the greasy dungeon bat was sleeping with someone like you" Harry laughed
