After one of her training sessions with Anko, Sakura was making her way home to take a shower and change. She passed through the busy crowds of Konoha as civilians and ninjas alike returned home. She was almost at her house when she heard someone call to her. She looked back and saw Ino with a hand raised. The blonde was in her training outfit and she was covered in sweat and grime. Seems she was taking her training for the finals seriously.

"Hey! Forehead! Long time no see!"

"I could say the same about you, Pig. What brings you here? You look like shit."

"Says the pot calling the kettle black. I just finished training, Asuma-sensei has working us ragged. I need a break! Which is why I came looking for you, actually."

"You want us to have a girls' night out?"

"Yep! We barely had time to see each other since the Chūnin Exams started. So whaddya say?"

"Sure! I haven't gone out in a while." Except for ramen night with Naruto...

"Great! Meet you Yakiniku Q in 1 hour."

"Alright, homeless or queens?"

"Hm...Queens, we dressed homeless last month when we went to the movie theater."

"Got it! See ya Pig!"

"See ya, Forehead! Don't be late!"

After this Sakura went home, took a shower and put on some of her prettier clothes. She chose a dark pink pencil plaid skirt that was mid thigh, fishnet stockings, black ankle boots, a white shirt and a black leather jacket. She put on hoop earrings and applied a little pink eyeshadow as well as some lipstick. She looked through her jewelry before deciding to put on a golden bracelet with flower engravings. After she was done, she took one of her black larger purses and left to meet with Ino.

The evening breeze ruffled Sakura's hair a little bit as she made her way to Yakiniku Q. It was a beautiful day, no clouds were in the sky as the sun began setting. When she reached the restaurant, Ino was already waiting for her there. Her friend was wearing a purple crop top with short, wide sleeves, a long black skirt that was cut on the sides, gladiator sandals and a back heart shaped fanny pack. Her short hair was somehow put in a bun with two hair sticks, she wore long diamond shaped earrings and a black leather choker. Her eyeliner was on point and she had light purple lipstick.

"Finally forehead! I was waiting here for 10 minutes. Let's go I'm starving!" The girls entered the restaurant and started looking around for a table before a scream of their names attracted their attention. They turned around and saw Tenten, Hinata and Naruto's long lost relative, Karin. After the Chūnin Exams, Naruto has been made acquainted with Karin, a member of the Uzumaki clan. The two of them quickly became friends, and as such so did Sakura and the rest of the Konoha 12. Karin was a shy girl, she reminded her a bit of herself before meeting Ino. From what Naruto told her, her home village, Kusagakure treated her horribly and abused her unique healing abilities. This made her be rather wary of people, but she was warming up to them fats. Just yesterday she joined herself and Naruto in a training session.

"Hey! Sakura, Ino!" exclaimed Tenten once they approached their table.

"Hi girls! Mind if we take a seat?" asked Ino.

"N-not at all." said Hinata.

Sakura took a seat next to Karin, while Ino took the one across from her, between Hinata and Tenten. She smiled kindly at the redhead and she smiled back shyly. "Hi Karin. How are you?"

"Oh well, I'm mostly doing just fine. I'm training to take the Konoha Genin exam soon." That's right, after meeting her, Naruto decided he didn't want to be separated from his only family member that he knew of. So he convinced Karin to leave her village, especially since they treated her so badly, and then took her to the Hokage to convince him aswell. That process in itself was a lot easier, since the Hokage had a soft spot for Naruto. The only condition was that Karin had to at the very least take the genin exam. As such, she was to take it with the new graduates this summer. The training itself was for the written exam, since it requires a lot of history knowledge. The practical exam was going to be a breeze in comparison, afterall she became a Kusa nin originally.

"Right, the genin exam begins right after the chūnin exams, doesn't it?" said Tenten.

"Are you having problems with anything?" asked Hinata.

"Not really, I'm not exactly worried for the practical. It's actually easier than Kusa's, can't believe you guys didn't have to do any tree walking. The written part is pretty hard, I keep confusing the first hokage with the second."

"Ah, the Senju siblings." said Ino as she pulled a face. "They gave me trouble too, lord first has way too many titles..."

"God of Shinobi, Founding Fire Shadow, Shodai Hokage and Lord of the Senju Clan. There, four. It's not that many, Ino. You just suck at remembering." said Sakura.

"Shut it forehead, you got full marks on the written, you don't count." exclaimed Ino. After this the night dissolved into chatter as the girls talked about everything and nothing. At some point Tenten tried to impress everyone with her cooking skills, only to end up burning the mutton she was cooking. Ino and Sakura brought Karin and Tenten into the loop with their plan to get Hinata and Naruto together, the redhead agreeing to drop hints to the clueless blonde. Sakura and Karin ended up having a disturbingly detailed conversation on the best way to poison someone. As well as an even more disturbing one between Hinata, Sakura and Tenten on how to best kill someone with your bare hands.

"You know... Looking at all of you right now, I can't help but feel underdressed" said Karin as she looked down at her the only pair of clothes she owned. Tenten was wearing a red chinese styled top with a golden dragon, black shorts and knee high combat boots with a black leather jacket with a dragon on the back. She wore empty tags as earrings and had 2 senbons each in her chinese-styled buns and the faintest idea of pink lipstick. Hinata was wearing a long lavender embroidered sleeveless dress, a white jean jacket and white flats. She wore a lavender headband with a bow and a beautiful necklace with the Hyūga clan symbol. No makeup painted her face.

By no means did Karin look bad, she was wearing a black shirt, a khaki jacket, black skirt, fishnet stockings and black ankle boots. However this was also her training outfit, her and Naruto didn't have much money to spend on other things. And looking at them now, she couldn't help but feel like she didn't belong.

"Well we can easily rectify that." said Tenten.

"Makeover?" asked Ino.

"MAKEOVER!" exclaimed Sakura. "We can go for a late night shopping trip."

"W-wait! I don't have that much-" protested Karin.

"And of course we'll pay for it!" said Ino.

"W-what? No wait! You don't have to." However her protests fell on deaf ears as the girls started scheming. She looked over at Hinata for help but she only received a smile and pat on the hand.

"Let us. We want you to feel good with us. And besides, Ino and Sakura are unstoppable once they put their minds to something. It's how they show they care." said Hinata. And so it was, after paying for their food the girls dragged Karin to the civilian district to buy their new friend some outfits. They stopped at several magazines and threw clothes at Karin before sending her to try them on. After buying her a few outfits, they picked some jewellery as well as makeup. At the end of the shopping trip they all went to Ino's house to let Karin change. All the girls were piled up in Ino's bed when Karin emerged from the bathroom.

She was wearing a dark blue long sleeve off shoulders croptop, black ripped jeans that you could see her fishnet stockings through the holes and black sandals. She had a fake pearl necklace and earrings as well as a bracelet. Her eyeshadow was a light blue and she had light pink lipstick on.

"So...How do I look?" asked Karin shyly.

"Oh. My. God." said Ino.

"You look amazing!" said Sakura.

"Really?"

"Definitely!" said Tenten.

"It suits you." said Hinata.

"I knew blue was your color!" said Ino.

"Alright! Now that all of us are all prim and proper, ladies its time to go. The night is young and me and Ino have planned a heist." said Sakura.

"Wait, what?" said Hinata and Karin.

"TO THE HEIST!" exclaimed Ino and Tenten.
