Hey babes! Back again with a new chapter! I'm sure this is one that many, if not all, of you have been waiting for. So I'll just leave it at that. :)

Skye breathes deeply as she slowly wakes up from her deep sleep, turning her head to look at the person lying behind her. "Good morning."
"Morning." Grant smiles at her and then leans forward to press his lips to hers. "Happy Anniversary." He moves his lips down to her jaw and then slowly along her neck, leaving a trail of kisses as he goes.
"Mm." She closes her eyes at the sensation and smiles. "I love waking up like this."
He smiles against her skin. "Me too." He presses a lingering kiss to her shoulder blade and then pulls away.
"Wait, why'd you stop?" she asks him, turning onto her back to look up at him.
"Because I need to tell you our plans for today."
She groans. "Can't we just stay in bed all day?"
He shakes his head. "Sorry, no. We have plans."
She sighs heavily. "Fine, I'll bite. What are our plans for today?"
He smiles. "I'm glad you asked." He takes a deep breath, shifting a little. "First, we are going to have a very delicious breakfast of hand-made crepes and orange juice. Then you're going to go into the studio to do some ADR. I know, it's not very romantic, but you have to do it, it's for your job. While you're doing that, I will be making sure that your gift is all ready for you back here later tonight."
Skye smiles brightly. "Ooh, what did you get me?"
"I can't tell you. It'll ruin the surprise."
She sighs. "Alright. You can continue."
"Thank you." He tilts his head, feigning thought. "Let's see, after you finish your ADR work, you'll come back here where we will have lunch and watch a movie. The movie will be your choice, of course. After the movie, we can do whatever you want to do. Then at five-thirty, we're leaving for our dinner reservation at six. After dinner, we'll come back here where your present will be waiting for you."
She smiles brightly at him. "Sounds like we have a pretty busy day ahead of us."
He shrugs. "I mean I guess so. Now come on, breakfast awaits." He throws the covers off of his body and climbs out of the bed, pulling on the closest t-shirt he can find.
Skye laughs quietly as she watches him move about the room and then out into the rest of the apartment to head to the kitchen.
Once she's alone, she tosses the covers off of her own body and climbs out of the bed, pulling on one of Grant's shirts and buttoning it up. She steps out of the room and makes her way down the hall, being immediately greeted by the large German Shepherd nudging his nose against her leg.
She smiles at the dog and leans down to rub his head affectionately. "Good morning to you too, Max."
The dog lets out a soft bark as he nuzzles against her again before moving back into the living room.
She follows after the dog, running a hand through her hair and letting out a heavy yawn. Evidently, some part of her still wants to be sleeping.
Grant smiles at her as he steps out of the kitchen and moves toward the table. "Hey, isn't that—"
"The shirt you gave me when we first met?" she finishes as she saunters up to him where he now sits in one of the chairs. "Mm-hmm. I haven't worn it in quite a while."
"Well, I think it looks much better on you like this than it did that first day." He smiles at her, grabbing her hips in his hands and pulling her close.
She smiles and wraps her arms around his neck. "Hmm. Is that because I'm sleeping with you now?"
He chuckles. "No. It's because now I know I made the right decision in giving you this shirt that day."
"Oh really?"
He grins. "Yep."
"Well, then I guess I made the right decision in keeping it."
"Yes, you most certainly did." He leans forward to give her a slow kiss, his grip on her hips tightening just the slightest as he holds her close.

"Dinner was absolutely amazing," Skye speaks up as she sets her napkin on the table and smiles sweetly at her boyfriend. "Thank you."
Grant smiles back. "Anything for my favorite person in the entire world."
She laughs. "You're so cheesy."
"But that's why you love me."
She shrugs. "Eh. I put up with it because I love you."
"But you love me, and that's all that matters in my opinion."
She smiles. "Glad to hear it. Now let's take a picture," she says, digging her phone out of her bag.
"Really?"
"Of course." She stands up from her chair and moves over to him. "You should know me well enough by now to know that I love taking pictures." She sits down on his lap and wraps one arm around his neck to hold herself on his lap.
"Yes, I suppose you're right." He wraps his arms around her waist to help secure her.
She smiles. "Of course I am. Now come here." She leans her lips down toward his, capturing them in a slow, sweet kiss. She has to remind herself to snap a photo before she gets too lost in the feel of his lips.
After a moment, she pulls away to look at the screen of her phone and smiles. "Perfect." She turns her head to look back at Grant. "What do you say we drive the fans crazy, huh?"
He smiles. "Isn't that the best part of our job?"
She laughs quietly as she looks down at her phone, opening up Instagram and loading the photo. She types out a caption and then tags Grant in the photo, making sure to hits the button that'll share it with Twitter as well.
2 years and counting [red heart emoji]
Locking her phone and setting it aside, she focuses back on the man she loves. "There," she says with a deep breath. "Now when we check our feeds in the morning they're going to be filled with fans freaking out that we've managed to keep this a secret for so long."
"I'm pretty sure most of them have had their suspicions since day one," he tells her with a small laugh. "And by day one, I mean the first time we interacted on Twitter."
"Seems like a lifetime ago. Part of me wishes we'd gotten together sooner because I am so madly in love with you. But another part of me is glad that we waited. I feel like it's more special because we were able to become friends first."
He smiles up at her. "I couldn't agree more."

"Are you really not going to tell me what you got me for our anniversary?" Skye asks as she and Grant make their way up to their apartment.
Grant shakes his head as he digs in his pants pocket for his keys. "I can't tell you or it'll ruin the surprise."
"Please? Can't you give me just a little hint?"
"Nope. But you'll know what it is very soon," he says, glancing down at her.
She huffs. "Fine. I guess I can wait a few more minutes."
"Thank you." He smiles, leaning down to peck her lips.
They walk the rest of the way in a comfortable silence; their hands intertwined together, Skye leaning into Grant's side.
Once they reach their apartment door, Grant pulls out his key ring, immediately finding the key for the apartment door. He slips the key into the lock and pushes the door open, allowing Skye to step inside in front of him.
They're both immediately greeted by Max, the German Shepherd sitting dutifully in front of the door waiting for them, his tail wagging excitedly. He jumps to his feet and immediately nuzzles against both of them as best he can, letting out a few soft barks in greeting.
Skye laughs and kneels down to hug the dog around his neck, pressing a kiss to the top of his head. "Oh, I missed you too, Max. Dad and I just went out to dinner, but we're home now." She presses another kiss to his head. "So where's my present?" Skye asks as she stands up straight again, Max making his way into the living room where his bed is.
"Someone is very eager for her present," Grant remarks as he closes the door behind him, putting his keys and shoes away.
"Well duh," she says to him, slipping out of her own shoes and kicking them to the side. "You told me this morning I'd be getting a present. But you've made me wait all day. I want my present, Grant."
"Fine. You can have your present. Go look in the bedroom."
She gives him a little smirk and wiggles her eyebrows. "The bedroom, huh?"
He rolls his eyes. "Nothing like that. Just go look."
Without another word, Skye moves from the living room and goes down the small hallway toward their bedroom. Grant waits with a knowing smile, moving to the couch and leaning against the back of it. Max immediately comes over and rests his head in Grant's lap.
A second later, he hears a squeal from the bedroom, and then Skye appears in the entrance of the hallway. She has a wide grin on her face. "A puppy? Seriously?"
He nods his head. "Yeah. You like?"
Skye runs toward him, jumping up to hug him and press her lips to his. When she pulls away, she's beaming. "I love."
"I'm glad. Now go get the puppy so we can all start bonding with him. He and Max need to get used to each other. We also need to come up with a name for him."
"Got it." Skye smiles, pulling away and then heading back toward the bedroom.

"He's just so stinking cute!" Skye squeals as she watches the small puppy explore the living room.
"So you're happy with your present then?"
Skye turns her head to look at Grant. "Very. It was definitely a good choice."
He smiles. "Well, I'm glad. What do you think, Max?" Grant asks the older dog. "Do you think you can handle another dog being here?"
Max just sits in his spot, eyes never leaving the smaller dog, watching intently as the puppy trots around the living room.
Skye moves across the living room floor and picks the puppy up, cradling him in her arms again. "We need to name him."
"You are absolutely right. Any suggestions?"
Skye tilts her head as she looks at the puppy. "Hmm. What about Buddy?"
"Buddy?" he questions.
Skye nods her head. "Yeah. Buddy."
He chuckles. "Alright. Buddy, it is then."
Skye turns back to the puppy in her arms and snuggles him close. "Hello, Buddy. Welcome to the family. You are just the absolute cutest puppy in the world and you are going to love it here. I'm going to spoil you like crazy, buy you all the best things that I can."
Pulling out his phone and opening up Instagram, Grant holds the camera up in front of Skye and their new puppy. He quickly captures the moment, smiling at the photo of Skye rubbing noses with the small dog. He quickly writes out a caption and then tags Skye in the photo before posting it.
I think she likes her anniversary present :)

SKYEWARD FANS REJOICE
Congratulations to Hollywood's newest couple.
If you've been a fan of the 'Secret Warriors' TV series since the movie it was spun-off from premiered back in the summer of 2014, then you're probably aware of the amazing and undeniable chemistry between its two leads, Grant Ward and Skye.
And if you've been a big fan of these two, wishing and hoping that they'd give in to the obvious tension between them, then your prayers have been answered.
Last night, Skye took to her Instagram to post a photo of her locking lips with her co-star at what seems to be a fancy restaurant, captioned simply with '2 years and counting'.
And then just a few hours later, Grant posted a photo on his own Instagram of Skye with a puppy, captioned with 'I think she likes her anniversary present'.
We're all thrilled and excited for the happy couple. As well as beyond curious as to how they managed to keep their relationship a secret from everyone for so long.

I don't think anyone I know in real life understands how thrilled I am that this is happening. Like, they've been friends for years and now they're happy and in love with one another. It's beautiful to see. Sending my love to them and hoping that they continue to thrive.
