Alright everyone, this is the last chapter of the Bleach realm! I thought long and hard about the entity...the main villain in this story. Destroying everything is just so well...clique to me so I had to think...What is the entity and what does it really want? I had to think hard and as I was going through the Bleach realm chapters, it kinda clicked. A hint is in this chapter, a pretty obvious one but if you can't get it then don't worry, all will be explained in the next realm. For now, enjoy the ending of the most intense realm!

Chapter 25: Realm of Soul

Hikari and the guys were given treatment for their wounds. Once all were healed she, Shin and Max were escorted to the meeting room. There they were faced with the 13 captains of the Gotei 13, the Captain Commander taking the place of high honor at the end of the hall.

"Such things are forbidden to many…" The Captain Commander began. "The gateway to other realms being one of such forbidden subjects. Yet you three broke such a taboo law. We do not allow such atrocities to go without punishment." He tapped his staff onto the cold floor. "However...Without your judgement, we all would have perished." He gave glance towards Shin. "Add to the fact that you possess a kami at your side, we cannot force our ways upon you...You who come from another realm."

Hikari had a feeling they just dodged a huge bullet...All due to Shin's status. With the way Max was sweating, he knew it as well.

"Remind me to thank Shin again when this is over…" He muttered under his breath at Hikari. Shin silently smiled.

"We thank you for your hospitality and will soon leave." Shin was the one that spoke up. Throughout this journey he had come to realize that he truly was NOT worthless. "However, as I am sure you know, in order to leave, we must use your realm's Keyblade to open the door. Seeing as that you all are the law here, it is only fitting we ask for your personal permission on such things."

Whoa...Since when did Shin act so...noble or whatever?

"As it was revealed, the bearer of our realm's Keyblade is not of our plane, but that of the living." Captain Commander stated. "However, we know of the door you seek. Once the bearer grants permission, we shall bring forth the door."

"Thank you, we greatly appreciate it." Shin stated.

The guy in the hat and flowery robes gave a smile.

"Seems these days teenagers are giving us beat downs…" He chuckled. "Or saving our hides."

"There is a question that comes to mind…" Captain Commander began again. "Why are you here?"

Hikari stilled her fear and stood before him and the captains around. In this realm she had accepted the truth...Accepted where she truly belonged…

"Max and I are from the Realm of Light." She spoke up. "I'm sure, in your wisdom, you know of such a place...Or have myths and legends about it."

"That would explain a lot." Captain Ukitake stated. "We knew there was something...Odd about you and your companions. Other than their appearances…"

"Here in this realm, we see reiatsu...that is what we call the spirit." Captain Commander said. "Yours and the one called Max is very different...Your ribbons are not colors we are used to seeing."

"Ribbons?" Hikari asked.

"It's complicated." The captain with flowing robes and a hat just smiled. "It just means you are very special…"

Hikari sighed. "Says everyone around me…" She frowned. "But...I don't...feel special…" She shook her head. "Anyway...I've a question I hope you can answer…" Hikari regarded the Captain Commander and the silent captains.

"What happens to a soul that's been rejected by its body?"

Max and Shin stared at her. That was an odd question...Why would Hikari ask that?

The Captain Commander thought for a long moment before giving his reply.

"If the soul's body is too weak to hold the power of the soul, then the soul is rejected from reincarnation." He explained. "The soul must make its way back to the spiritual plane and there it shall wait until a proper form is made. However, if the soul does not return to the spiritual plane, the soul is condemned to wander the abyss. The deeper it ventures into the abyss, the more corrupt it becomes and the less chance of it ever to see the light of day again." The Captain Commander paused here.

"In essence...if the soul does not return to the spiritual plane...The soul becomes nothing."

"Thanks...er...Thank you…" She said. "Um...I think we need to go to Orihime now…" The situation had become rather...awkward now. These guys were rather strict in a way...She wasn't used to such...proper language and stuff.

"We shall provide an escort." Captain Commander replied. "Child of Light...You have a heavy burden ahead of you...Whether you win or lose shall affect us all. It is because of this, that you may call upon the Seireitei should you need us." He tapped his staff again onto the hard floor. "Let it be known from this day forward! The child of light known as Hikari is under the protection of the Gotei 13! Should she need our strength, all she needs is to call!"

Leaving the meeting room Hikari could barely comprehend what just happened. Max gave her a nudge.

"Looks like you've got an army now…" He chuckled at her.

"Oh good grief!" Hikari huffed while pinching the bridge of her nose.

"You have gained many valuable allies, Hikari." Shin spoke up now. "That is a good thing to have."

"I guess…" She said.

"Still though, what happened? You had that entity thing!" Max frowned at her and Hikari froze in her steps.

"Let's...Let's just get to the next world." She didn't want to talk about it and that was that. "We've got to press on right?"

Max raised an eyebrow at her. "Okay…"

In Karakura Town, Orihime graciously relinquished the Key of Soul to Hikari and thus, a gateway was made by the two shinigami escorts, a shenbon gate as they called it. It was a simple unlocking of the gate and our trio was back on the road.

Hikari stared at the gate before her, ready for the next world yet...a lingering thought made her glance back at the Realm of Soul.

Am I...Really the daughter...of Sora and Kairi?
