Byaruki thoughts: Side stories for Game of Life
DISCLAIMER : I do not own anything from this story. Entertainment purposes only.
A/N: since I think that I was grasping at straws on Game of Life, I decided to document the supposed events that can support this pairing.
Chapter 3: Life with you, but without you [part 3]
Rukia is currently lying on her futon, inside the largest room she has ever lived in. It's size is almost twice the house she and her childhood friends had lived in!
Indeed.
Kuchiki clan is filthy rich.
The food is out of this world.
And the gardens of Sakura, were like in a dream.
As Rukia contemplates her unbelievable luck, she could not help but think about the enigmatic head of the Kuchiki clan. Captain of Squad 6.
Her now adoptive brother.
Who is probably in the shrine where Hisana-sama's remains lie, mourning his deceased wife, like he always do.
At this thought, Rukia felt something clogs on her chest metaphorically, as the heart inside of it, beats a little slowly.
"Ano… may I ask why I was adopted?" Rukia asked the spokesperson, curious about the reason behind her change of fate.
"Rukia-sama" the old attendant started to say, looking at the young lady's eyes, eyes who almost looks exactly as the one he had been serving for many years before.
The one, Byakuya had loved and cared so much, treasured above all people.
And their unspoken promise, for he was there when the former Lady of the Kuchiki house died.
Her adoption.
But, as an older attendant, who watched as the head of the clan grew up as the man he is today, he knew that this person who looks like Byakuya's late wife, isn't just an obligation.
He knew.
Because what else would explain the slight change in Byakuya's behavior.
A change no one would have perceived at all, without stepping some personal boundaries.
He just hope that whatever it is that is bothering the head of the clan, that he would get over it soon. Especially because their clan has many more issues aside from the fact that all the Elders of the clan were enraged at Rukia's adoption.
"Byakuya-Sama, adopted you because you look like his late wife" he reasoned to the poor girl, who looks restless.
I looked like his late wife?
To be continued….
A/N: if that reason for adoption is not creepy, I don't know what it is?!
If it were not Byakuya, I would advise Rukia to run for the hills, for its not worth it to be domestically abused by your adoptor. No matter the luxury of Riches and ease.
