Chapter 25

Shopping

"Have you guys finish your homework?" I asked Harry and Longbottom. I threw the stone at the lake in front of us. We were sitting under one of the tree near the lake.

"No. Why? Have you done it?" Longbottom said with an amused expression. Harry also looked up from his Quidditch book, waiting for my answer.

"What with that expression, Longbottom?" My mouth twitched. He laughed seeing my face. Harry also tried his best to stop laughing at me.

"I don't mean to offend you! But, come on! Only you will be able to finish it before holiday start. Ok, maybe Granger and you." Longbottom explained. Harry nodded, agreeing with him.

"Shut up!" I huffed at them.

"By the way, where is Granger?" I asked. They said that Granger at the Library doing her homeworks. I nodded and lay down on the grass. Nice weather today!

Longbottom and Harry also followed my actions.

"So any of you staying here on Christmas?" I watched the birds flew to north. Longbottom said that he will celebrate at Longbottom Manor while Harry told us that he will stay at Hogwarts.

"Same as me. I also will stay at Hogwarts." My mind flashed back to conversation that I had with Snape regarding Christmas. We decided to celebrate at Hogwarts.

"Yeah! It seems we can explore the castle together." I laughed hearing Harry's childish voice.

"So, any ideas what should we do?" I asked Harry after we saying our goodbye to Longbottom. We walked towards the Great Hall for lunch. When we entered, I saw Weasley eating at Gryffindor table.

"My, my. Weasley. What are you doing here? I heard you supposed to go home." Weasley spit out the apple pie seeing me sitting at Gryffindor table with Harry.

"What are you doing here?"Weasley pointed his finger at me.

"Urg! Disgusting! Please don't talk while eating!" I sneered at him. Weasley turned red.

"Em..guys! Please calm down." Harry looked at Weasley and me, ready to stop us if we fought.

"Gladly." I said, feeling a little bit pity for Harry. Weasley just nodded and going back to eat. Harry and I talked about quidditch while eating our lunch. Weasley also joined us. Of course, that's because he's fanatic about Quidditch. After lunch, I decided to go to Snape's quarters.

"Hey, uncle sev!" I greeted Professor Snape.

"Ethan? Is there any problem?" He looked up from his grading paper.

"Nope. Just..you know to visit." I looked at him, quite hesitated.

"You do know that you can come anytime you want, right? I am glad to see you." He smiled slightly at me. I nodded.

"Do you want to join me this evening? I want to buy something at Diagon Alley."

"Of course!" I said happily. What to buy? Hm.

"Ethan, wake up!" Huh? What does he mean by wake up? I quickly sat up. Oh my god! I fell asleep on the couch while waiting for him to finish his work.

"Why don't you wash your face and dress up." I entered my room to dressed up. I decided to wear blue shirt with white jackets and black jean.

Diagon Alley.

"Do you want to buy something while we are here?" asked Professor Snape after bought his things.

"Can I buy present for my friends? You know as a christmas gift." I said excitedly.

He smiled and gave me a green light. Hehe.

"Thanks, uncle sev!"

I decided to buy 'Powerful Plants written by Adam Carter' for Longbottom, 'Quidditch Professional Moves by Lione Raid' for Harry, Chocolates for Weasley(p/s: wonder why I want to buy him something), 'Powerful Healing Techniques by Mac Watson' for Nott, and 'History of Art by William Taylor' for Zabini. I am not sure what to buy for Snape. Maybe I will ordered it from potions magazine? I thought.

"Do you want to eat dinner at here or at Hogwarts?" Professor Snape asked.

"Can we go to muggle world?" I asked, quite hesitated.

"Very well." His smiled.

I ate fish and chip, mac-n-cheese, and orange juice while he ate roast beef, salad and coffee. Hm. Delicious.

"Are you done doing your homework?" Seriously, Snape? Who discussed about work when eating? I sighed.

"Mostly I had done it. Just need to finish History of Magic and DADA." I answered. He nodded at told me to finish it as soon as I can so I will have more free time. After that, we ate in silence. I dozed off, a little bit tired after shopping and eating.

I felt myself got picked up by him and saw his face smiling at me. I smiled before laying my head on his shoulders and closed my eyes.
