Chapter 24 – Curtain Drop

Cassidy's POV

You've been wondering where I was doing the fight. I just wanted to let you know that I chose not to come into the fight.

Along with the damaged Golden Freddy suit, it would impossible for me to fight. Unlike the others, I don't know how to attack a person without feeling guilty or have any bravery to do such a thing like that. And also, Nate – who was resting next to me – didn't feel comfortable fighting. After what he went through, it might scare him a little or just…make him distressed.

I didn't want my friend to hurt like this, so I decided to guide our suit around the battlefield without alerting anyone. I used our magic to teleport inside the base. Nate was still a little afraid to face Charlie and Elizabeth Afton – his sister – so I hid us in the shadows to watch.

We came upon the ground level to see the attack team looking through the place.

"Can't believe a guy would have the nerve to sleep on top of a graveyard!" said Thomas.

"That's William we are talking about," said Katelyn.

"I still can't believe that he did all of this," muttered Elizabeth, bending down a little since her head nearly touched the ceiling.

"I don't think your father isn't going to hold back," said Charlie, her eyes burning. "If anything, he would just want to kill another person."

"Can we focus on the mission please?" said Alex. "We're looking at nowhere!"

"Do you know a way down?" asked Athello.

Katelyn looked around the corner to see a metal door of what must be an elevator. "I'm not sure if we would be able to use that again. William has complete control of this place, so all electrical machines might be down for us."

"And opening that might bring up more animatronics!" said Charlie.

That was when Katelyn looked aside and pointed at another door.

"That's the emergency entrance!" she said. "I went through there when I escaped from this place. Let's use the stairs! Quick!"

I teleported the suit into the shadows and made it invisible, so that nobody would see us. We watched as the attack team brushed past us and Thomas kicked the door down.

The emergency staircase was already flooded with blood-stained animatronic. They were climbing up the stairs or up the walls like spiders! Three of them were already hanging from the ceiling, so they dropped down to try to surprise us. However, Alex – who was in front of us – quickly acted and swung his hockey stick at one of the animatronics, sending it colliding into another animatronic and the two fell right in the gap in the middle of the stairs.

The third animatronic swung its claws at Alex to attack, but he quickly pushed it to the ground with his foot and stabbed the front bit of his hockey stick into its head. The animatronic's head split in half and with a loud crack, it went limp.

"This is actually gross…" whimpered Elizabeth.

"What do you mean?" said Athello. "It's nothing too bad so far."

"I agree," muttered Katelyn sarcastically. "Fighting against reanimated carcasses is just a normal day in the office."

She pointed her gun at some of the animatronics who were already close to arriving on the surface level, only to be shot at and collapsed on the floor. Katelyn even managed to shoot some animatronic and they fell off the gates, into the middle gap.

However, there were more animatronics pouring into the emergency staircase from different levels. I noticed that most of them were completely covered in red stains. The redness nearly look wet!

"Ooh!" said Funtime Freddy's voice as Elizabeth picked up a nearby round object. "What is this?"

HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS...

"ELIZABETH!" shrieked Thomas. "DROP THAT! IT'S A GRENADE!"

"A what?" said Bon Bon's voice dumbly.

Elizabeth realized her mistake when she saw steam coming out of the grenade. She threw it upwards which landed in the middle of the charging animatronics.

KABOOM!

Magnificent flames and steam of red, orange and yellow blasted, sending animatronics flying in the air or exploding into smithereens. The level they were on – the second level – cracked and gave way. The unlucky animatronics let out cries as they were sent crumbling down or got buried by the falling concrete. The remaining animatronics who were on the safe levels, screeched angrily at us.

"That does work…I guess…" said Charlie.

"Let's not waste time," said Thomas. "Let's go!"

I was grateful that the level beneath them didn't the entire platform because it was enough for the attack team to make it to the door. I teleported the suit once again to the level below for us to see them running into the first room. An animatronic jumped out from behind a wall, letting out a scream that scared me. However, Katelyn quickly kicked it aside with her foot and Athello finished it off by raising both of his fists and slamming them onto its head, knocking it out.

"Whoa!" said Thomas. "Killer!"

"How come…none of you are afraid of that jumpscare?" asked Charlie, looking concerned. "Because…don't you remember what we did?"

"Don't worry about it," said Alex with a cocky smirk. "Sure it's freaky, but when it comes to the last fight after experiencing a lot, it becomes…I don't know...boring."

Charlie blinked. "You're saying that it wears off overtime?"

Athello cleared his throat. "There are two types of people in this world; one who has nerves of steel and one who has nerves of strings. There is no in-between."

Charlie shrugged. With that, the attack team continued moving forward. I could feel Nate shuffling around uncomfortably, shivering a little. I let my conscious inside the suit and saw him curled up in a ball at the bottom.

In the past, I tried to tell my friends about him, but they would ignore me. Sometimes, they would pick on me for having an 'imaginary friend'. When I did get the chance to show them, all they saw was Nate cowering away from them. They belittled him and ignored him whenever he tried to talk to them. I was the only one to be with him and he was always comfortable with me.

However, ever since we went out, he asked me if the outside world was too dangerous for us. When we went over to meet Finn and Patrick, he asked me if it was a good idea to reveal ourselves to them. When Henry appeared, he asked me if he would be happy to see him again. But when I felt and saw Elizabeth Afton's soul inside that…thing, he immediately stopped talking.

I never saw Nate…this frightened before.

I didn't really get it. We were facing his younger sister. Not his father or his older brother. I don't think Elizabeth did anything to him when both of them were alive.

I thought that I couldn't keep Nate off like this at a time like this. He couldn't be quiet during this! I wanted to concentrate on helping my friends stop William, but it was Nate who was dragging me down.

Emotions got to me first.

"Nate," I said. "Are you…alright?"

Nate didn't talk nor look at me.

"I know that you're scared," I said. "But your sister is here. Elizabeth is here. It would be worth it if we can work with her."

Still nothing.

"Please, Nate. You know that Elizabeth must have missed you. She deserves to know that you're here."

"Stop it, Cassidy," snarled Nate.

I was taken aback. I never saw how angry he was in my life.

"What?" I said, an edge in my voice.

"You're wrong," said Nate. "You know you are."

"But why don't you think Elizabeth cares about you?" I said.

"Because she was little," said Nate. "Michael sometimes like to poison her with lies about me and she would laugh at me then."

"She probably wouldn't mean it. She wouldn't understand."

"She does!" snapped Nate, glaring at me. "Remember what I told you? Even though my father 'loved' me, he didn't stand up to protect me from my siblings! Even my mother was too afraid to move. I was the only one getting dumped on."

I crossed my arms. "Maybe you don't know that you aren't dumped on."

"Then why did my sister never show me respect when I was alive? Why did she act like I was nothing? Why did she enjoy watching Michael bullying me? And do you think Elizabeth would understand that Michael killed me when she is still 6 years old mentally?!"

I narrowed my eyes. "No. But maybe her time trapped in an animatronic made her miss her entire family. Mister William, Michael and YOU. Like how I missed my brother for 10 years! Do you think she would keep up the act of pretending to forget everything?"

"What makes you think that they would be different now?"

"Look…people change over years. You should never look back at the past too much. I wished Charlie knew so in the first place. Look, your father – my killer – has changed into THIS. This…evil psycho who is now trying to kill people. Elizabeth must have been trapped in Circus Baby's Worlds longer than me. She must…feel hurt that nobody was really there for her."

Tears formed in Nate's eyes. "I can't connect with Elizabeth. She…she might be the same."

"And can you prove that now? When she is in the same boat with us?"

Nate was quiet. "I'm afraid that if I talk to her, she wouldn't care."

"How do you know?"

"I told you, I…I don't know. I'm just afraid she won't."

I sighed. "Look. I've been afraid of a lot of things. Ever since my friends scarred several night guards and hurt some of the people here, I was afraid that nobody would come to me. They wouldn't see me different from the others. But when I saw my brother again, he was happy that I was alive."

I sobbed a little, tears stinging in my eyes. "Patrick…recognized me when I showed myself. He believed us. He believed that we didn't partake in the killing. He knew that we were different from the others. All this time, I've been worried about it, but if you try to settle this fear, then it's no big deal."

Nate frowned, looking down.

"Patrick was still the same, but he changed a little. Remember? He told me how overprotective he became of his friends and how mad he was with Katelyn for entering the pizzeria. My point is, you should try to talk to Elizabeth."

"What if she ignores me again?" said Nate.

"At least you'll know. Then you could stop worrying about it. Then you won't have to be afraid."

Nate floated in front of me, sighing a little. He looked down at the ground before glancing back at me. Soon, I saw that his confidence came back.

"If you put it that way, then…" said Nate.

He didn't get a chance to finish because he trailed off when we heard Elizabeth's scream echoing through the hall.

"What was that?!" said Nate.

"I don't know," I said.

I teleported the Golden Freddy to another space and from the shadows, we gasped at what we saw.

Blocking the attack team from going forwards was a large dark olive green animatronic that seemed to resemble Golden Bonnie. However, there were torn patches in his suit and the corpse INSIDE the suit appeared skeletal and mummified. His eyes were turned into metallic grey with white pupils. I nearly vomited (well…I'm dead, but I can do that in way that makes my stomach burn) when I saw fleshy veins and muscle dangling out of various limbs and inside the torso.

"What…?" said Katelyn.

"The…?" said Thomas.

"F***?!" hissed Athello.

"Language, everyone!" chided Alex. "Children are reading this!"

Elizabeth was beginning to tremble. Her gaze was locked on Springtrap, twitching weirdly. She took a step back, a horrified look crossing her face. Katelyn glanced at her and then back at the rabbit animatronic.

"Michael…" she whispered. "What did he done to you?"

Nate gasped, placing his hands over his mouth. He stared at the brainwashed Michael in shock before shrinking deeper in the suit.

At that moment, I saw that all three Afton children were killed by their father's creations. Either intentionally or unintentionally, there would be no way they would be able to escape those suits. Just like me, they wouldn't be able to find peace since they all died and came back to life all those years.

"Springtrap?" said Athello quietly. "Can you hear us? It's us…don't you remember?"

The rabbit animatronic snarled, going onto all fours. It revealed its scary set of sharp teeth, snapping them dangerously. He almost appeared to be like a savage wolf. This…this…this wasn't how a revived person seeking for revenge act like that way. William must have done something awful to Michael. It was like Michael was no longer Michael. It was like he had lost his mind due to…magic that you would see in story books…but it's not like from…witches…it's more on…dark…coal-covered…black powder!

"We're all gonna die…" said Thomas.

Elizabeth was utterly still as she stared at her deranged brother. She didn't make any sound or movement. However, she moved her eyes around at her team. It appeared that she was thinking of what to do in the face of getting through Michael. She sighed, finally coming to a decision before standing in front.

"You guys go ahead," said Elizabeth. "I'll stay."

"What?!" said Charlie in shock. "You're OK with that?!"

"Well…I'm an Afton and I don't belong to you guys anyway," said Elizabeth sadly as she glanced at Katelyn and Thomas. "After all, I think I need to take care of one thing my father did."

"W-What?" said Thomas. "No…you don't have to."

Athello nodded, patting his hand on Elizabeth's shoulder. "Create things for the better, girl. If you can hold him off, you can do it."

"…you know you're not…" said Charlie.

"Let's go already!" said Alex.

Michael let out a bloodcurdling howl as he lunged towards the team. Elizabeth immediately grabbed him by the throat, throwing him to the wall. This allowed the rest of the team to run away, heading to the hallway ahead. Katelyn was the last one as she stopped and looked behind to face the Circus Baby-like animatronic with a concerned look.

Elizabeth smiled sadly. "Go…I'll be OK."

Katelyn nodded before turning around and followed the rest of her team.

Elizabeth turned back to Michael who was already getting up, snarling at her.

"B-Brother?" she said, nearly choking. "Do you…remember me?"

It was clear that Michael wasn't himself. He roared like a lion, pouncing forwards. Elizabeth nearly screamed as the rabbit animatronic leapt onto her, trying to tear her face off. She grabbed onto his shoulders and tried to push him back, but he had his hands on her mask. Eventually, Elizabeth managed to push Michael off, but he was able to claw on her mask, leaving three (and a half) long scratches.

The two panted as they glared at each other. Elizabeth slowly rubbed the scratches on her face and winced. She lowered downwards as if she was about to weep on the floor.

"Elizabeth," said Funtime Foxy's voice. "I don't you should be in this battle."

"I-I should be!" said Elizabeth, her eyes glowing in determination. "And if anyone is going to try to knock some sense in my brother, that's me!"

Michael roared again and pounced. But Elizabeth dodged and quickly grabbed him by the leg, swinging him around. However, he quickly leaned up and grabbed onto Elizabeth's face again, kicking her in the chest. He pinned her to the floor again, raising a fist up.

Thinking quickly, Elizabeth swung her claw upwards and pinched Michael's arm hardly, twisting it. He let out a roar as his arm jerked around before he was thrown onto his back. Elizabeth quickly stood up, rubbing her face again.

"Face it, Michael!" she said. "This is pointless! Wake up! Please!"

But Michael didn't listen. He pounced onto her again.

I winced as the two fought again. Michael was so out of control, that he was becoming more savage than my friends when they acted like monsters. My whole body was shaking, feeling that this needed to stop already. I already couldn't bear to see innocent people being turned into vicious brutes. I wanted to use this suit to stop Michael or possess him to take away that evilness infecting his soul.

I thought of controlling the Golden Freddy suit, but I told myself that I still have one thing to handle.

"Nate?" I said, looking down to see him. "Nate? Are you OK?"

"Do I look like I'm OK?!" he snapped, glaring at me. "I'm NOT OK!"

"I'm just asking," I said. "You don't need to get angry."

"No…no…I just…I just…"

Nate trailed off. He floated upwards and faced me with a gritty look.

"I…I can't," he said. "I don't want to do this."

"What?" I said. "I know that you have your history, but this is about helping your sister against your older brother. He's crazy now! I doubt he will snap back to reality."

"Look," said Nate, pointing a finger at me. "We wouldn't be in this mess if it wasn't for him. Yeah, I'm glad that he isn't himself that he wouldn't recognize me, but I CAN'T face my brother and sister! They…they aren't what I thought they should be. I can't trust myself to show myself to them. I…I don't want to…"

He looked like he was about to cry again.

"They…they hurt me once. I…I don't want to be hurt by them again. I'm…I'm too scared to face this."

I narrowed my eyes. There was a loud bang from the battle and I swear I could hear Michael crunching on Elizabeth's leg with his TEETH. There was a loud scream before there was more thrashing noises. If I was still alive, my ears would be bleeding.

"Listen," I said, grabbing onto Nate's cheeks. "It doesn't matter now if you still think that they would still dislike you. It doesn't matter if you weren't able to face up to them. All that matters is that you're my friend. You helped me get through this. You protected me from the others. And look at you; I don't see you as a coward!"

"But…how am I supposed to stop them?" said Nate, tears rolling down his face.

"If you believe that you can stop them, then do so. If you have the strength to face this, then do so. You've been really brave and you were able to withstand anything without backing down. I know that you're afraid of your siblings and I am too. But we are here. We are here to stop your father. And do you want him to hurt your siblings on purpose?!"

Nate looked through the eye holes and immediately hid below, closing his eyes when I heard a loud bang and several pops.

"If I can manage to move this suit and teleport us," I said. "Then you can do it as well! Nate! You know what to do!"

Nate kept looking at me and back at the battle. I noticed that he was sweating and nearly close to breaking down. However, he clenched his fists and gritted his teeth. When he opened his eyes, I could see that his green eyes were glowing in determination.

"Cover your ears!" he said. "This is something neither the two of us did!"

"Wait, what?!" I said.

But Nate already flew out from the suit and quickly got himself between Elizabeth and Michael who pushed each other away. He crossed his arms to his chest and strike to the ground, screaming loudly. A loud cry that sound like a combination of the unfriendly screech and a VERY human child scream. Tears were actually pouring down his tears as he screamed loudly, a bright gold aura flaming out from him.

I gasped and nearly got blasted away when Nate's whole body light up the whole room in golden yellow, nearly taking away the shadows of the room. Both Elizabeth and Michael were surrounded by a gold outline, lifted upwards in the air. I could see that Michael immediately stopped acting like a beast and stayed still, his eyes turning into a spectacular shade of gold.

Elizabeth gasped. "N-Nate?"

I could tell that Nate was struggling to keep up with this power. He finally stopped screaming and lowered down. I quickly flew out of the Golden Freddy suit and caught him so that he wouldn't faint. He coughed, nearly bending over.

I looked over at the rabbit animatronic to see that it was glowing a white color before it landed on the floor, face-first. It appeared motionless as if exhausted. And then, something flew out of the suit.

It was…the ghost of Michael Afton.

Due to William tampering his animatronic body, Michael was all in white with black eyes, white pupils and red streaks on his cheeks, resembling tear stains.

And Michael didn't attack. He floated up and down, confused as he looked around. Almost traumatized. Just like how I was when I was killed and then woke up as a ghost in an animatronic.

Nate lifted his head up, his eyes glowing dangerously.

"That is enough!" he said. "I think that is enough for all of us! No more fighting. No more hurting. No…more pain."

I was nearly in awe as Nate slightly pushed me away as if telling me that he could fight on his own. He stood up on both feet, looking up at his older siblings. As far as I could tell, he was just firm in getting them to stop fighting. None of them didn't respond negatively, but they were shocked about his presence.

"Nate?" said Michael, his voice cracking. "N-Nate?"

"That's you?" said Elizabeth, trembling.

Nate nodded.

Immediately, Elizabeth wrapped her arms around the little boy and sobbed. Nate gently returned the hug, burying his head into the animatronic's chest. To my surprise, there were ACTUAL tears going down her face as she wept.

"Nate!" cried Elizabeth, her voice nearly glitching. "Oh…Nate. I…I thought that you wouldn't be here anymore after…"

Nate smiled a little. "It's alright, Elizabeth. We are back together. I just…hope that you still love me."

"Of course I do! I miss being with you…I miss being with my family after I was killed."

I turned to Michael to see him trembling. From Nate's stories, I could see that he must have felt bad for what he had done to my friend. I must be right the whole time because he was slowly floating away. He looked like he wanted to run, but there was something holding him back and it wasn't magic. His eyes were on Nate the whole time.

When Nate turned to face him, Michael already had tears going down his face.

"Michael," said Nate softly.

Michael bowed his head down. "I…never thought I would see you again soon."

"I know that. You're OK?"

Michael shook his head. "Cut the act down. Aren't you mad at me?"

Nate looked a little confused. "So…you still remember?"

The black flaming aura around Michael slowly fizzled as he folded his arms together, trembling as if he was cold.

"W-W-What do you think?!" he spat. "Don't you remember as well?! I killed you! I thought that this prank was just a harmless one, but I didn't expect for that stupid, freaking bear to chomp down on your head."

Nate nodded. "I…I still remember that."

"And yet, you're still here?! Why are you here?! I killed you, so shouldn't you be trying to kill me as well?! Would you want to make me suffer after you've been…like this?!"

Nate frowned, his lips trembling. He looked at me as if asking me if this was all true. I nodded, knowing that by the tone of Michael's voice, he felt guilty and angry at himself for accidentally killing him.

He looked back at Michael.

"I know that you were cruel in the past," said Nate. "But…from what I seen when we were alive, I saw how broken our family was. Do you think I wasn't aware that our father didn't like you that much? And what he taught us, my friend Cassidy told me that it wasn't how parents teach their children to grow up as."

Michael glanced at me. "So you were with THEM. The…children who possessed the Freddy Fazbear crew?"

"She's different. She didn't choose murder. When she came to me, I helped her and she helped me. She made me learn about what is right for people. If I even have the power to do so, I wouldn't want to make you suffer. I NEVER want you to suffer. You don't deserve it."

"But…" said Michael, falling onto his knees. "You know that I nearly meant doing that stupid prank. Scaring you back at our home."

"Maybe so, but I realize that you just want to be respected. You just feel angry at me for our father loving me too much. And…I wanted to help you. I wanted to find out why you hated me in the past. If only I reached out, then you wouldn't be too mean all the time. I know that you are not wrong that you should suffer, but I know that it was just an accident."

"But it shouldn't be more than just an accident," said Michael, looking down. "It…it was my fault."

Nate floated towards him and patted Michael on the head. "I know. I know. But you didn't mean, do you?"

Michael shook his head. Nate gasped a little, a hopeful glow in his eyes.

"There might be no excuse for you for the way you treated me," said Nate. "But I just hope that I would be able to see you again. To take a step back and put the past behind us. Start again. I don't want to see you suffer. I want to see if you feel bad for doing that prank."

Before I decided to speak, Michael slowly wrapped his arms around Nate. I nearly cried as I watched the two brothers embraced each other, putting their differences aside. Elizabeth watched on with a bewildered look, possibly because she never seen her brothers get along already.

"I'm…I'm so sorry," whispered Michael, struggling not to cry. "I'm so sorry. I didn't thought that I wouldn't kill you. I…I didn't have any control when it came to bullying you. I…I shouldn't have."

Nate smiled, looking positive for the first time in our lives. "It's OK. I may not be able to accept your apology, but I forgive you for what you did in the past. I can only hope that you can open up to me more and we wouldn't have to be on different sides."

That seemed to break the wall as Michael buried his head into his chest, tears freely going down his face. Nate patted on his back in a comforting manner. It was a rather beautiful sight for me to watch. Seeing two brothers finally reuniting with one apologizing for the horrible things he had done. Even Elizabeth was getting emotional because she went close to her brothers with a pleading look to join in. Nate looked up and nodded. She let out a sob of her own as she embraced them. And so, I watched the biggest group hug ever.

Seeing this made me remember being hugged by my parents and Patrick. I really missed those times…

As everybody let go, I hovered near Nate and rubbed his shoulder.

"See, Nate?" I said. "People can change. You just have to see it for yourself sometimes. And here…this is what I truly believe in."

Nate smiled. "You're always happy and positive. No wonder why you got along with your brother so well."

I chuckled a little.

Before I could speak, there was a light tremor that shook the entire bunker. The golden light slowly disappeared. There was a sinister laughter coming from the hallway.

"Ha…ha…ha…ha…ha, ha, ha, ha…"

Michael's eyes widened. "He's…he's nearly ready."

Katelyn's POV

It felt like days when we ran across the hallways to find the pentagram room. In fact, the whole night seemed to stretch into a month because the whole place was nearly too large for us to travel across. I was very impatient to get all of this over because we didn't know if we had enough time to stop William. We took all the signs that led us there, but I was nearly afraid that we were going into a trap.

I didn't enjoy my last time being at this place. Since we were looking through a whole new level, there could be something coming to us. The dark shadows that were in the corner or in a nearby room made me feel like an animatronic was hiding there. I had the urge to flash my torchlight there to check if something would pop out. Who knows? Maybe a set of jaws would be in my face.

But surprisingly, we didn't bump into any animatronics.

Charlie had been mostly quiet the whole time. She didn't look threatening or aggressive anymore. She was still covered in blood, but because it already turned dark brown, it didn't bother me that much. I was still mad at her for foul-mouthing at me and killing innocent people over the years. But ever since I heard her talking, it reminded me that there was still a child inside the Puppet. I wanted to try to say something to say, but I didn't know what to say without making her go into further pain.

We turned around a corner to arrive at a long hallway with multiple doors on the side. There was one door on the other end…with a star drawing surrounded by a circle.

"The Pentagram room is up ahead," said Charlie softly. "I can feel dark powers coming from there."

"That should be where Finn and Squidgy are!" said Alex. "We'll be able to help them there."

I sighed. "Good grief. It's almost over."

BOOM!

A slight tremor shook the entire place.

"What was that?!" said Thomas, looking around.

BOOM!

I might had been at William's bunker for once, but I felt a cold shiver in my chest as I heard the loud noise. It was coming close…so clear.

BOOM!

" W-What is this?!" said Charlie, panicking. "Is this it? Did William killed everyone in Brooklyn?"

"No…" said Thomas. "If he did, then we wasted a lot of time. It's just the beginning."

BOOM!

"It's…worse," said Athello in dread. [1]

The doors on the sides opened to reveal large dark tendrils sprouting out from the dark rooms, moving around insanely. They would sometimes slap the walls and floor, but they tried to reach out for us. They didn't dare to grab us like they were just trying to appear as menacing. And then, there was a deep booming laughter echoing through the hall.

It sounded joyously malicious.

"Ha…ha…ha…ha…ha, ha, ha, ha, ha…"

Something went through the wall, electricity surrounded it. It was a gigantic version of the Puppet except that it looked like Slender Man! It had a large black body that looked like a shell. Its limbs and legs were skinny and its face was white with small black lips, thin black stripes on the cheeks and a sinister black grin, revealing pointed, sharp-looking teeth. Its eyes were black and its white pupils were twitching around as it looked down at us.

"Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha…HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA!"

"It's…William," I said flatly.

The large Puppet animatronic let out a loud, horrific, static-filled scream. The whole pace shuddered and lightning blasted on the floor from his body. The shadow tendrils slammed on the walls again.

"I'm back!" hissed William in a playful tone. "I ALWAYS come back!"

I gulped. Never I thought he would decide to be in THIS suit. Facing him as a human being was terrifying; seeing a serial killer who lost all of his insanity and lived to see some blood. Facing him as an ANIMATRONIC was 10 times the loss of all nerves. I couldn't believe he actually decided to go into one himself!

"What a deceptive calling," he said, his voice deeper than before. "I wasn't expecting guests to arrive at my house, but I guess that he has brought in some new visitors I get to toy with. This is easier than I thought it would be."

"We are not here to surrender," snarled Thomas, gripping his ball hardly. "We are here to threaten."

William turned to face Charlie. "Ah. So the rumors were true. Charlie Schmidt; the second girl to be killed near Freddy's and now possessing the Puppet."

Charlie narrowed her eyes. "Do I know you?"

"You may not recognize me at first, but I assure you; it's still ME."

The original Puppet let out a gasp before she snarled angrily. "I recognize you, but I'm not afraid of you. Not anymore."

"How the hell did you managed to get into THAT?" said Athello. "Are you the one inside this suit?"

William cackled. "You see, making people suffer makes me feel enlightened. However, it become so boring that a single gasp from a man I stuffed in a suit sounds like a normal, boring buzz of a fly. So, I decided to try this. If people can still live inside spring locked suits…then maybe I can!"

"Wait," said Alex, dumbfounded. "You stuffed YOURSELF in a suit?!"

"I chose the most powerful and indestructible animatronic costume of all time! And it's a better way to live for all eternity instead of dying one day as a puny human being. The best thing? When I hopped into that suit, I could feel all the metal snapping into my body. My brain was on fire, my mind was rushing and my heart was beating. Sure there was pain, but…I LOVE it. Oh…it makes me feel more alive than dead! I want that f***ing feeling to happen again! Just to keep dying all the time!"

Charlie turned to me. "Should I be concered?"

"I think you should REALLY be concerned," I said.

"This guy's insane," said Thomas.

"Fascinating, what we have become," said William as he creeped forwards. "And now with my army ready to take on the rest of the world, let's see how many times you can be pulled apart…and put back together again."

He swung his right arm around and one of the shadow tendrils slammed down. We quickly moved to the side as it nearly smashed us.

"I'm here to claim what is left of this world."

Another shadow tendril nearly slammed into us to the wall.

"I can taste your fear in your breath."

Thomas quickly tackled me to the ground when another shadow tendril tried to slap us. The others quickly ducked.

"Hide if you want. It did not save the others. It will not save you."

Several shadow tendrils began to attack us. They kept trying to slam onto us, but we quickly moved out of the way. However, because of how fast they were, I nearly fell over every time I had to jump or slide to the sides. Thomas and Alex didn't seem to have that much trouble with that as they were able to dodge out of the ways with reflexive moves. Athello sometimes tripped over, quickly using his hand lift him up before he crashed onto the floor. Charlie just flew around, trying to help me when I was about to fall over.

"Your fear will consume you. You will fear me! And now, you are mine!"

Charlie growled and flew upwards. She let out a scream as she flew through the shadow tendrils and sliced them through. She was able to reach William and slammed into his chest. The gigantic Puppet animatronic was pinned to the wall, but it didn't bother him that much.

"I HAVE HAD IT WITH YOU, MR. AFTON!" yelled Charlie. "You've made our lives a living hell and for what?! Just to satisfy your crazy needs?!"

"Kids like you don't really understand the concepts we adults have," sneered William as he simply pushed Charlie aside by her head. "You were all naïve and vulnerable and have exactly no die what I was doing the whole time. You wouldn't even understand why I'm doing this. No wonder it was so easy to kill you without getting caught!"

That seemed to drive Charlie to the edge because she went completely BERSERK. She let out another hellish scream as her whole body formed an outline of black flames. She zipped around William, nearly turning into a flaming black blur before diving into his chest. She then grabbed him by the arm and slammed him the ground, shaking the whole place.

Noticing that this was our chance, we quickly ran across the hallway. The dark tendrils tried to grab us while Charlie kept William busy. I nearly tripped over some of the shadow arms that swished around on the floor, but Athello quickly threw me upwards. I was shocked at first when I landed, but quickly shrugged it off and kept running.

We finally made to the room the pentagram door. Thomas began pulling the doorknob, trying to open the door desperately.

"C'mon, c'mon, c'mon!" he said, twisting it around. "Let us in!"

I looked back to the fight to see that Charlie was still beating William to the curb. However, William didn't seem to mind being attacked. He didn't moan, groan or shout in pain. Instead, he was moaning in…SATISFACTION. In pleasure. It was as if he was enjoying it.

He finally speak when Charlie hit him right in the groin.

"You know that it's quite thrilling to feel you hitting me on every part," he said.

"SHUT UP!" shouted Charlie, punching him in the face. "I'm stronger than you think!"

"Good! Then please hit me harder! It feels very nice!"

Charlie was appalled. "You weird creep! If you're powerless like this, then it is music to me!"

William huffed. "Oh really? But let's taste death again and again and again."

When he said that, he snatched Charlie by the waist and then grabbed her by the arms and legs. My eyes widened as he did what I thought he was going to do.

There was a couple of pops and bangs as William stretched on both ends of Charlie's body. She let out a scream of pure pain as her voice glitched out and several metal parts flew out from the cracking gap. It would be horrifying if Charlie was a human, but it was still disturbing to watch William pulling her apart. It was like an elastic band being stretched before it broke.

"Charlie!" screamed Thomas who stopped budging on the doorknob. "No!"

"Not now, Thomas!" said Alex. "We got to go!"

"B-But we have to help!" I said. "Look at her! We can't stand here!"

"We can't help if William tears all of us apart!"

Athello glared at Alex before looking at Charlie. She noticed that he was about to take a step forwards.

"N-No!" Charlie barely whispered. "Go! GO RIGHT NOW!"

"Shut up, b****!" shouted William before pulling again, this time harder.

SNAP!

I gasped in shock as the Puppet of Fazbear Freddy's Pizzeria was snapped in half, almost everything falling apart. All of her insides – her mechanical pieces, her gears, her circuit boards – fell out from the large gaps. Charlie screamed in anguish as she was taken apart. When she crashed onto the ground, I ran forwards in a meaningless attempt to save what was left of her, but William slammed the palm of his hand onto her head.

CRACK!

When the hand was removed, all I saw was the battered body of the Puppet and the cracked pieces of the white mask. Her eyes were lit just long enough for Charlie to say something.

"G-G-Go…" she whispered. "Go…"

She was cut off when William stepped on her.

I covered my mouth with both hands. Even though I knew that Charlie would still be there, it came to me that she might be trapped in the broken animatronic forever if we failed to stop William.

"Your time is up!" hissed William, glaring down at me. "You will not be spared. You will not be saved!" [1s]

AN: We are close to the end, everyone. It's still not over yet.

The choice of using Nightmarionne for William's preference is because Michael has already taken Springtrap (along with the newer version of Scraptrap). I research what is the most scariest animatronic in the FNAF series and one look at the images provided, I decided to use Nightmarionne. Because how skinny this animatronic is, I edited his appearance and his overall height.
