After they came home from shopping and ate dinner together, Brittany turns to the kids after they cleaned up the kitchen and smiles lovingly. ''Movie time before bed kids?''
Bella nods her head and smiles brightly. ''Can we watch Disney?!''
Santana chuckles and nods her head. ''Of course we can mija, why don't you and Brandon search a movie the both of you want to watch? Mama and I will make us a snack and hot chocolate.''
Bella nods her head sliding off of the chair and turns to Brandon smiling brightly. ''Come on Brandon, we will look at the movies we have!''
Brittany smiles as she sees Brandon slowly slides out of his chair following Bella into the living room and turns to her fiance. ''He is still really unsure and afraid to do something bad.''
''Yeah I noticed it too and he was scared as hell the second he dropped his cup, I don't know what she did to him but seeing him so scared hurts like hell.''
''Do you think Mrs Pillsbury has good contacts to children psychologist in our area?'' Brittany asks softly, Santana slides beside her after making the hot chocolate and sighs softly.
''I don't know mi amor but I will write her a message tonight, we will hate hearing everything that happened to him but I don't want to see him so scared every time he drops something.''
''Yeah I don't want that either love, also seeing the complete shock in his eyes the second we bought those toys and clothes for him and Bell's tells me that he never got new things or well anything really.''
''I agree and seeing his hair or well what you would call hair also tells me he never had a hair cut before either, we do have to give him a bath tonight and I am afraid to see his reaction to that but I am happy to see that there was no sexual abuse.''
Brittany nods her head in agreement glancing into the living room and smiles as she sees both kids skimming through the DVDs. ''Yeah thank god that didn't happen but a lot of other things happened that scarred him.'' She turns to lock eyes with her fiance and sighs. ''I think we will give him his first haircut ourselves or ask Kitty, I know she is still learning to be one but I don't want to take him to a barber seeing how he acts towards strangers touching him.''
Santana nods her head in agreement and smiles sadly. ''Kitty is still a stranger too mi amor, I think he will be more relaxed if one of us does it, or well more like you do it you can handle the trimmer better than I can.''
Brittany laughs thinking back to the day Santana asked Puck if she can shave his Mohawk and nods her head in agreement. ''Yeah I don't think going bald fits him love, Puck rocked that look tho.''
Santana laughs pushing her softly and shakes her head. ''Shut up, I wasn't really sober that night.''
Brittany laughs grabbing the bowl she filled with popcorn and leans down kissing her softly. ''I know but Puck thought you were, I am so glad that Cedes recorded everything.''
She laughs walking out of the kitchen as she hears her scoff and smiles as Bella and Brandon both turn to her, she places the bowl with popcorn on the table and plops down on the couch. ''Did you find a movie?''
Brandon nods his head smiling shyly and holds up the newest cars movie. ''Cars!'' He squeaks out, Santana smiles as their daughter nods her head in agreement and slowly takes the DVD from Brandon sliding it into the player.
Brittany turns to both kids and smiles. ''After the movie it's bath time kids or do you want to do it before the movie?''
''Is the chocolate still too hot?'' Bella asks looking up at her mami, Santana takes her cup holding her bottom lip against it and nods her head.
''Yes it is a bit mija.''
''Can we take the bath before?'' Bella asks, Santana nods her head and runs her hand through her dark locks.
''We can.'' She tells her softly, she leans down kissing her head and pats her butt. ''Go grab your favorite toy, I will be in shortly mi corazón.'' She tells her as she sees Brandon nervously bouncing on his feet.
Brittany slides down the couch after kissing Bella's cheek and turns to face Brandon. ''What's wrong buddy?'' She asks softly.
''Bath hot.'' Brandon murmurs tears filling his eyes, Brittany closes her eyes sighing softly and slowly pulls him in her arms rubbing his back.
''We will make sure it's not hot okay? You can feel the water before you go in and tell me if it's too hot or too cold.''
''Promise?'' Brandon asks softly, Brittany nods her head slowly standing up and holds out her hand.
''I promise.'' Santana smiles lovingly as she sees him slowly following Brittany while holding tightly onto her hand and runs her hand through his blonde locks.
''Do you want a bath toy?'' She slips into his room as he nods his head watching Brittany lead him into the bathroom and grabs one of the toys they bought, she walks back into the bathroom and places it in the bath slowly filling with lukewarm water.
''Babe.'' Brittany murmurs sadness filling her voice, Santana hums turning to look at her and freezes as she sees the bruises and dents looking like it's coming from a belt on the little boys back.
''Dios mio.'' She breaths out tears filling her eyes, she crouches down beside her fiance and gently reaches out running her finger over the marks.
Brandon flinches cowering away from them and sniffles. ''N-no! Pain!''
Brittany shushes him pushing down her own tears and gulps. ''It's okay buddy, after your bath we will put some ointment on them that will stop making them hurt okay?''
''Weally?'' Brandon asks tears dripping down his cheek, Santana nods her head and smiles softly.
''Really Brandon.'' She tells him softly, she turns to her fiance and kisses her cheek. ''I will place the ointment on his bed.''
Brittany nods her head thanking her softly and turns back to Brandon as Santana walks out of the bathroom, she slowly holds out her hand after telling him to take off his underwear and holds her hand in the bathtub. ''Do you want to feel the water?'' She asks him.
Brandon nods his head slowly sliding his hand into the water and sighs. ''Is good.'' He tells her softly, Brittany nods her head picking him up and slowly lowers him into the water. She hands him his toy after wetting a washcloth and carefully washes his back making sure not to push all too hard on the bruises, she smiles lovingly as she feels him relax and runs her free hand through his hair slowly wetting it.
''Feels good.'' he hums softly looking up at her with a small smile.
''It does?'' Brittany asks smiling lovingly, she grabs a cup as he nods his head and fills it with water. She drops the washcloth and slowly pours the cup over his head making sure to cover his eyes so it doesn't bother him, she grabs the shampoo and taps his shoulder. ''Turn around bud.''
She runs her fingers through his long blonde locks smiling as he hums softly and winks as he looks up at her. ''You really need a haircut bud.'' she grabs the shower head after washing her hands and covers his eyes with one hand rinsing out his hair with the other, Brandon turns to look at her and smiles shyly.
''Haircut?'' he asks softly, Brittany nods her head running her hand through his locks and smiles slightly.
''Yes so your hair will be a bit shorter.''
''You do?'' Brandon asks.
''Do you want me to?'' Brittany asks, she smiles as he nods his head and hums. ''I will do it tomorrow okay?'' She grabs the washcloth again as he nods his head and sighs softly. ''Do you want to wash yourself or shall I?''
''You.'' Brandon murmurs softly, Brittany nods her head helping him stand up and helps him wash himself. After rinsing him off she leans back on her feet and smiles.
''Do you want to play a bit more or do you want to get dressed?'' She picks him up draining the tub as he lifts his arms and places him on the towel she placed in front of the tub, she grabs the soft towel wrapping it around his little body and picks him back up walking into his room. ''What do you want to wear bud?''
''Cars.'' Brandon murmurs shyly, Brittany nods her head grabbing the cars pajamas they bought and immediately washed and places it on the bed. She helps him his underwear and pajama pants on after drying him off and covers his hair with the towel smiling as he giggles, she rubs her hands over the towel to dry his hair laughing as he giggles loudly and lifts the towel winking as he squeaks.
''All dry?'' She asks smiling lovingly, she grabs the ointment as he nods his head and taps his leg. ''Turn around bud.'' She tells him softly.
She rubs his back with ointment humming softly as she feels him flinch as soon as she touches the bruises and smiles as she feels him slowly relax. ''Okay?'' She asks, she wipes her hands on the towel as he slowly nods his head and helps him put on his shirt. ''Alright we are ready for the movie, will you join Santana and Bella in the living room?''
''You?'' Brandon asks softly, Brittany smiles and holds up the nightlights they bought.
''I will quickly set up the nightlights so you will find your way to the bathroom tonight.'' She tells him softly, she stands up as he nods his head walking out of the room after putting on his cars socks and quickly sets the lights up so it lights up the way to the bathroom.
She walks out of the room after she set the timer and walks into the living room smiling as she sees both kids sitting on the couch beside Santana sipping on their hot chocolate, she plops down beside her fiance chuckling as she bounces up at the movement and kisses her cheek.
''You okay?'' Santana asks softly knowing the bruises hurt the both of them, Brittany sighs softly glancing at the little boy contently sipping on his hot chocolate while watching the movie and shrugs.
''We all will be love.'' She murmurs softly wrapping an arm around her waist as she cuddles into her side, she leans forward grabbing her own hot chocolate and takes a sip.
Halfway through the movie Bella crawls into her mama's lap and cuddles into her smiling as she feels her mami's hand on her leg, she turns to look at Brandon and pats her mami's lap. ''Come cuddle Bran.'' She tells him smiling brightly.
Brandon smiles shyly looking at Santana and slowly crawls over as she smiles lovingly, Santana smiles pulling him in her lap and scoots down so he can recline back against her still watching the movie.
''This okay?'' Brandon asks softly smiling shyly, Santana wraps her free arm around his waist and nods her head.
''Everything is okay as long as you feel that it is buddy.'' She tells him softly, she runs her fingers over his side cuddling into her fiance's side and smiles as she sees her hand come up to draw small circles on his back.
They both exchange a small loving smile as both kids relax against them smiling lovingly and Santana tilts her head up pecking her on the lips. ''Te amo mi amor.'' She murmurs softly, Brittany smiles kissing her forehead and hums softly.
''I love you too baby.''
Brittany scoots down so Bella can lay down cuddled against her chest and kisses the top of her head smiling lovingly as she sees her holding Brandon's hand while they both watch the movie, she runs her hand through her dark locks and sighs contently enjoying the relaxing night with her fiance and kids.
After the movie Brittany sits up adjusting her hold on Bella kissing the top of her head as she sighs contently in her sleep and turns to look at her fiance smiling as Brandon turns to look at her sleepiness clear in his brown orbs. ''It's time for bed bud.'' She tells him softly, Brandon nods his head wrapping his arms around Santana's shoulder and buries his face in her shoulder as she easily stands up with him in her arms.
Santana adjusts her hold on Brandon and leans down kissing her daughters head. ''Sleep well mija.'' She murmurs softly, she carries Brandon down the hall watching her fiance slip into Bella's room to tuck her in and places him down on the bed smiling as she sees the row of nightlights leading to the bathroom, she pulls the blanket back letting him crawl under it and slowly tucks him in after handing him two teddies to cuddle with. ''Do you need something honey?'' She asks as she runs her hand through his hair.
Brandon shakes his head yawning and reaches out grabbing her hand smiling tiredly as Brittany also walks into his room. ''Tank yu.'' He murmurs tiredly, Brittany smiles joining her fiance beside him and leans down ruffling his hair.
''You don't have to thank us Brandon.'' She tells him softly, she adjusts the pillow under his head and smiles lovingly. ''Good night buddy.'' She murmurs.
''Good night honey.'' Santana tells him smiling lovingly as she watches his eyes droop, she slowly stands up as he sighs contently slowly drifting off to sleep and walks out of the room. She smiles as her fiance joins her leaving the door slightly open and walks into their bedroom collapsing down on the bed with a soft sigh, she hums as Brittany immediately sits down on the back of her thighs massaging her shoulders and turns her head to look at her.
''You okay love?'' Brittany asks softly as she leans down kissing her temple, Santana hums sighing softly as she feels her body relax under her fiance's magic hands and bites her lip.
''Yeah just too much that happened today and we all need a bit to settle down.''
''Mh in a matter of not even twenty four hours we became parents of a little boy and Bell's a big sister.'' Brittany murmurs smiling slightly.
''But I honestly wouldn't change a thing that happened today, Brandon is adorable and fits right in. Sure we have a long way to go and he will need a lot of support but I know that we can do it as long as we do it together, Bell's will also be there for him and during our shopping spree and during the movie she kept him calm by holding his hand.''
Brittany hums in agreement running her hands down her back and smiles lovingly. ''I am really looking forward to our future together with both of our kids, you are right we have a difficult road in front of us but just like you said together we will concur everything love.''
Santana turns on her back smiling as Brittany easily moves to straddle her and runs both of her hands up her thigh. ''I am looking forward to that too mi amor.'' She pushes herself up on her elbows and kisses her softly, Brittany smiles into the kiss placing her hand beside her head to hold herself up and slowly pulls back leaning their foreheads together.
''How are you feeling love?'' She asks softly, Santana bites her lip and shrugs.
''Brandon made me forget my own nightmares because they belong to my past, the urge to help him and make sure he will be happy is more present than what happened to me and the nightmare I had last night is now just a small nagging in the back of my mind.'' She tells her honestly.
Brittany nods her head and smiles slightly. ''Yeah I noticed that the second we arrived at the hospital with him.''
''Watching you with him just made my love for you grow even more and I never thought that would be possible.'' Santana confesses smiling lovingly. ''You are an amazing mama to Bell's and I know that you will be an amazing mama to him too. You immediately gained his trust from the first second and whenever he searches for acceptation he turns to glance at you and your reaction shows him that it's okay for him to decide himself, I also know that the second you saw his bruises something inside you broke so please talk to me and don't try to ignore it mi amor.''
''It just hurt to see the pain he had to go through at his age.'' Brittany murmurs smiling sadly. ''But that will be in the past soon because we will make sure he knows what being loved feels like, he will love you because you are the best mami someone could ask for and seeing him cuddle into you fighting sleep to watch the movie was the cutest thing ever.''
''Just like seeing him calm down whenever he felt your arms around him, I think without you sitting on the hospital bed with him he would have never let the doctor check him out.'' She leans up kissing her softly smiling as she sees the tiredness clearly in her eyes and hums. ''Let's go to bed mi amor, we don't know how late he will wake up.''
Brittany hums slowly standing up and takes off her shirt, Santana bites her lip seeing her abs ripple and groans running her hands up her flat stomach. ''God looking this hot should be a sin.''
Brittany laughs unclasping her bra and grabs her long shirt to sleep in, she slips it over her head throwing her fiance's shirt in her face and snickers as she grumbles pulling it off of her face. ''Get changed horn dog.''
''Says the woman who never looks away from my ass whenever I walk in front of her.'' Santana replies laughing as she strips out of her clothes, Brittany hums wrapping her arms around her waist before she can slip her shirt on and smirks.
''Can you blame me? I have the hottest soon to be wife.''
Santana wraps her arms around her shoulders leaning up on her tiptoes and kisses her softly. ''Only six more months mi amor.''
''I hope they will pass as quickly as the past six months.'' Brittany murmurs smiling lovingly, she pecks her on the lips and slides into their bed nuzzling her face in her pillow.
Santana hums in agreement sliding in beside her and immediately turns on her side nuzzling her face in her chest. ''I hope so too mi amor.''
Brittany smiles kissing the top of her head and pulls their blanket around their shoulders. ''Good night love.''
''Good night Britt-Britt.'' Santana murmurs softly sliding her hand under her shirt covering her heart, she closes her eyes allowing Brittany's steady heart beat to lull her to sleep and sighs contently as she feels her arms wrap protectively around her waist sliding under her shirt to settle on the small of her back her thumbs dipping into the dimples on her back.
In the middle of the night.
Brittany wakes up rubbing her eyes as she hears a toilet flush and runs her hand down her face smiling lovingly as her fiance just cuddles into her side nuzzling her face in her chest with a soft sigh, she turns her head as she hears a soft knock on their door and clears her throat. ''Come in.''
She turns on her back pulling her fiance closer as she grumbles in her sleep and smiles as Brandon slowly opens the door pouting. ''Hey buddy, you okay?'' She asks softly as she sees Bella sleepily slip past him climbing into their bed, she kisses the top of her head as she crawls over her cuddling in between them and runs her hand wrapped around Santana over her little arm as she cuddles herself between both of their bodies on top of their blanket throwing her own over her little body.
Brandon slowly walks over to her and lifts his arms. ''Up.'' He asks softly, Brittany easily picks him up with one hand making sure not to hurt him and places him down beside her after scooting closer to her fiance feeling Bella lay down on her legs easily drifting back to sleep.
''What's wrong buddy?'' She asks softly as he lays down beside her.
''Scary.'' Brandon murmurs sadly.
''Scary dream?'' She asks softly, she pulls him against her side as he nods his head sniffling and runs her hand through his hair. ''You are safe here bud.'' She tells him as he cuddles into her.
Brandon wraps his little arm around her waist placing his hand on top of Santana's arm already laying there and looks over at her as she feels her hand gently grab his arm running her thumb soothingly over his arm, he looks back up at Brittany as he sees her still fast asleep and sniffles. ''Why that happen?'' He asks softly.
''Why scary dreams happen?'' Brittany asks softly fighting to stay awake, she runs her hand down his back as she feels him nod and sighs. ''Sometimes our minds work the most when we are asleep and when something bad or scary happens during the time we are awake, our minds try to work past them in our sleeps and wake us because the feeling is really scary.'' She murmurs, she runs her hand through his hair and smiles reassuringly. ''But it's over now buddy, you can go back to sleep and if you have another bad dream Santana and I will make sure it will go away immediately.''
''Promise?'' Brandon asks softly through a yawn, Brittany nods her head tucking their blanket under his back and smiles.
''I promise, you are safe now sweetheart.''
''Tank you.'' Brandon murmurs tiredly as he nuzzles his face against shoulder, Brittany squeezes his side softly and smiles.
''You don't have to thank us sweetheart, go back to sleep.'' She murmurs softly, she slowly unwraps her arm from his waist pulling Bella's blanket further over her making sure she is tucked in completely and runs her hand through her dark locks. ''Sleep well baby girl.'' She murmurs softly as she wraps her arm back around Brandon feeling him slowly drift back to sleep. ''Sleep tight buddy.'' She murmurs as she slowly kisses the top of his head.
''Best mama ever.'' Santana murmurs tiredly as she tilts her head up to kiss the underside of her jaw, she chuckles softly as she feels her jump and wraps her arms around their daughters waist pulling her close while taking a hold of Brandon's hand placed on her fiance's stomach. ''Sorry.''
Brittany shakes her head and turns her head to kiss her forehead. ''It's okay love, go back to sleep.'' She tells her softly.
Santana hums nuzzling her face in her neck smiling lovingly as she sees Brandon cuddled contently against her left side and sighs softly. ''Te amo mi familia.''
''We love you too.''
