Blue eyes marveled at the sight of the figure standing before her, adorned in clothing unfitting of the era. Although the silver hair was a definite give away only two names came to mind. Inuyasha or Sesshomaru. Unless, of course, it was someone else entirely.

But it sounded like Sesshomaru a moment ago, and besides, Inuyasha wasn't the type to stand on the brink of a battle without his sword drawn. Kagome's gaze shifted to the sword at her hero's waist. That's not the tessaiga. In fact, it wasn't anything she remembered. It must be Sesshomaru! I'll finally get answers!

"Who the hell are you? This doesn't concern you, boy! Now get lost before you piss me off!"

"On the contrary… that is where you are wrong. These lands that you have treaded on do not belong to you. Everything still or breathing belongs to the Great Dog General. You, however… have trespassed. It is not something so easily forgiven."

A curse slipped from the demon's mouth, but he held his composure before the stranger. "That may be so, but I only mean to take back what belongs to me. That girl there," He said, pointing.

Kagome flinched. "M-me?! Look here, pal, I'm not your possession!" Fed up with the lies and obsession, Kagome moved away from A-Un and took her stance beside Sesshomaru, and without hesitation, wrapped her arms around his waist. "And for your information, this is my fiancé!"

The demon staggered in place. "Y-you lie!"

"I'm not! I've known Sesshomaru for years!" Kagome only hoped Sesshomaru would take a hint and play along with her lie, but when she glanced up to discern his expression, her eyes widened. Wait a minute… why does he look… younger?
