In the previous chapter:

Nightmare got into a little fight with an acquaintance of Crazy. He now has a gun aimed at his head.

Narrator [ON]

The Hare boy smiled threateningly at Nightmare. The gun was loaded and ready to fire. Nightmare just glared at the hare in front of him.

—Why do you think I should let you speak? —Cold, Nightmare questioned.

—Oh, teddy... Because I am her brother... Thus... I am gay... And I can say that I feel very comfortable in this situation. —Said the hare referring to the proximity that the two were. Nightmare then releases him and gets away. Crazy laughs.

—Ah, bro... Always taking everyone by surprise... —She says approaching with Bloody on her lap. Cayden takes the gun down.

—Yeah... I think he learned his first lesson about being a foreigner at Alpha: Don't challenge anyone you don't know! You're just going to get hurt... —Cayden smiled smugly at the bear.

—So you knew about that Crazy... —He says. He doesn't seems happy at all. —Very funny, I'm dying by laughter.

—Aw, come on Night... —Crazy said approaching. She drops Bloody on the floor. Nightmare doesn't look at her. —Think about it... If it wasn't for him it would be a stranger... And if that were the case I would have to protect you... And having unknown enemies at Alpha is pretty bad. You understand, right?

—Why didn't you say your brother was a hare? And by the way, why is he a hare? —Nightmare questioned really confused.

—Genetics... Have you ever heard of it? —Says Cayden.

—My mother had Delta ancestors. That's why he has been born a hare... —Explains Crazy.

—And that's also why I have this... —He says twirling his scorpion tail. —Too bad the poison isn't that strong...

—Ok... But I'm still upset with you... —Nightmare said sulkily.

—Aww, I'm sorry... We didn't mean to upset you... —Crazy said.

—Oh, no... It will start to get sticky here... —Cayden turns and walks away. Bloody follows him. —If you need me, I'm home...

—Aren't you going with him? —Nightmare asks, still upset.

—I'm not going without you... —She says hugging Nightmare from behind. He was trying to stay serious about the situation.

—For you to play with me again? I prefer to go home... —He says. Crazy hugs him tighter.

—Don't go... I swear I won't do it again... —Nightmare starts to soften.

—Okay... But on one condition... —He smiles and turns around. Crazy watches him.

—Say it... I'll do! —Nightmare smiles.

—Your prince demands a kiss. A kiss very well given. Now. —Nightmare says pretending authority. Crazy blushes and smiles.

—As you wish, your highness... —She says in a playful tone, puts her arms around Nightmare's neck and kisses him.

The kiss was warmer and more passionate than the last time. They both knew it was heating up too quickly. Soon they split up even though they still wanted more.

—We'll talk better later... —Crazy said, giving Nightmare one last short kiss. —Now, let's go! Cayden must be home by now.

—Okay... Let's go then... —Nightmare said smiling.

Crazy guides him all the way to her house. Once there, she opens the door and finds Donnovan, Khan and Cayden talking. She enters with Nightmare.

—Ah, there she is! —Says Cayden. Crazy smiles.

—Don, Khan! What a great surprise! —She says. Nightmare just froze at the door. Crazy was holding his hand when he entered.

—Hi Crazy! I heard about the news... —Says Don, looking at the couple's holding hands.

—Lucky... —Khan says and gets a small punch from Donnovan on the arm. —What is it? He's just pretty! That's it!

—Is it just me or is that a forbidden romance in front of me? —Says Crazy with a malicious smile on her face. Don blushes.

—Yeah... Something like that... —He smiles. But say it! When it started?

—Umm... I... I don't know if I want to talk about it... —Crazy says lowering her ears and running her hand over the small scar that was left over from Silver's actions.

—He didn't force you, did he? —Don said, looking crookedly at Nightmare. The bear awakens from the trance.

—What? No! No... Umm... Is just that... This has to do with an old trauma... She... Told me about what happened to her and... Sorry... It happened again... I couldn't stop it... —Nightmare said, feeling guilty. Don just comes over and touches the bear's shoulder.

—It doesn't look like that... At least you helped to overcome it, didn't you? She looks happy. —He says running a hand over Crazy's head and she smiles. Cayden and Khan watch.

—Now I understand why Crazy likes you so much... —Nightmare smiles at Don. Don returns the smile.

They all spend the rest of the day talking and getting to know each other better. They told stories, ate, sang and played together. That was certainly the beginning of a beautiful group of friends.
