Three weeks later, September 23, 2028

Kayleigh is now 34 weeks pregnant with her daughters. Maci is now 34 weeks pregnant with her son and daughter. Today, Kayleigh is scheduled for her c-section. Bailey and Maya are now 21 weeks pregnant. They are having triplets again. Bailey is having all girls, Kayla Everleigh, Kelli Evangeline and Kendra Ellie. Meanwhile, Maya is having a boy and two girls, Watson Zachary, Josephine Jocelyn, and Jessa Zaya.

Massachusetts General Hospital, 5:00AM

After signing into the hospital, Austin and Kayleigh headed to their room to wait until Kayleigh could be prepped for the surgery. By 6:00AM, Faith Marie, Finley ELizabeth and Felicity Rose were all born and healthy, but they were only 4 pounds and 6 ounces. They have to stay in the NICU for 2 weeks before they can be taken home.

Kayleigh's Recovery Room, 9:30AM

Three hours after their birth, Bailey and Cody knocked on their daughter's hospital room, Austin opened the door.

"Come on in. We've been just resting since the triplets are in the NICU."

Cody smiled at his oldest daughter. "How are you feeling, sweetie?"

Kayleigh smiled softly. "I'm sore, but I'm good, though. I'm happy to not have three babies inside me and Faith kicking my bladder every 5 minutes."

Bailey laughed. "I'm glad this is my last pregnancy."

A knock at the door, Cody opened it to find Karina standing there. "What? I couldn't pass up seeing my twin's daughters, Dad. You look like you've seen a ghost."

Bailey laughs. "He's been like that for years."

Karina started laughing. "Seriously?"

Kayleigh laughed, almost chuckling. "Oh yeah. Twins all over in this family. Trust me, seeing double in this family is normal." She smiled at Karina. "Do you want to hold Faith?"

Karina nods. "Just give me a baby. I don't care which one."

Kayleigh nods, smiling as Austin places Faith into her sister's arms. "Aww, she's gorgeous."

Meanwhile, Zack and Maya's house

Maci walked into the house through the garage. "Merci Ryleigh! Get your ads downstairs now!" Maci yells.

Merci shook her head as she ran downstairs from finishing up in the shower. "I was changing. Jesus Christ, Maci Michelle. Can't I finish getting ready?"

Maci shook her head. "Nope. I have to do things today and I have to see Kayleigh at the hospital real quick."

Merci sighs. "I have the fucking twins sleeping."

Maci sighs. "Girl, don't you want to see Kay?"

Merci nods. "Of course I do! I have the twins sleeping still. Don't you know how hard it is to put Carter down? Can we go later? I thought we were going later?"

Maci sighs. "Vanessa has her cranky mood then, and I'm not in the mood to deal with her meltdowns."

Merci nodded. "Okay." She looked at her sister. "How are you doing?"

Maci laughs. "Besides having two humans in me, I'm doing good. Tired, but today I feel good to see our cousin real quick. Plus, we haven't hung out in a while."

Merci frowns. "I know. I'm sorry we haven't hung out in what seems forever. I've been just feeling run down with the twins and I'm just super tired lately."

Maci looked at her sister. "Really? How come? What's up with you?"

Merci shrugged her shoulders. "Don't know, I figured it was just having newborn twins but it's just something different I guess. Have you gotten like hot flashes when you were..." She sighs. "...early?" She paused.

Maci was now confused. "Early? For what?"

Merci groans, sighing deeply. "Early in your pregnancies?"

Maci nods. "Uh, yeah. I think so. Why?"

Merci sighs. "I think I might be pregnant again."

Maci's eyes went wide. "Shut the fuck up."

Merci ran her fingers through her hair, almost pulling on it. "What the fuck am I going to do? Z is going to freak out. I don't know what his reaction will be if I am pregnant again. He's just getting used to being a dad to the twins. I-I can't bring another baby into our lives if the twins are barely 3 months!" She says with panic in her voice.

Maci shook her head. "Okay, you need to chill out first before you actually have a panic attack."

Merci nodded her head, breathing deeply and took a deep breath before sighing. "I'm not going to think about it until I can know for sure. I can't stress about it if I don't know if I am pregnant again."

Maci nodded her head before picking up Vanessa. "Now, I'll wait for you to finish getting ready and then we can go to the hospital together."

Merci nodded as she headed upstairs to finish getting ready. She decides on a little makeup and then got the twins into their carriers before she heads out with her sister.

Maci and Merci spent a good hour with their cousins before Merci headed back home to Zayne, who was folding his laundry. He saw her walk into the house with their children. With the biggest smile on his face, he picked up Evangeline and Carter. "Hey baby. How was it at the hospital? How's Kayleigh and the babies?"

Merci smiled softly. "They're doing well. I-I wanted to talk to you about something…" She was terrified about his reaction, but she needed to talk to her boyfriend, as he is this baby's father too. She couldn't keep the secret, if she was pregnant again. Of course she won't get to know until 2 weeks from now, but she needed to know if he was ready for another child.

Zayne saw the look on her face. He was now concerned. "Baby, what's wrong?" He says, putting the twins in their swings before sitting Merci down on the couch. He pulls her into his arms and kissed her head as tears began falling down her face. "Merci, what's the matter, baby?"

Merci sniffed as she tried to catch her breath. She wiped falling tears and whispered so quietly he barely could hear her. "I think I might be pregnant."

Zayne just was staring at her. "W-what was that?" He asked, rubbing her back slowly.

"I think I'm pregnant." Merci says louder and takes a shaky breath.

Zayne's eyes went wide. "W-What?" He looked at her shocked. "Did-did you take the pregnancy test?"

Merci shook her head. "No. I can't. It's too early, I just-I just have this feeling that I am. I have the same symptoms I did with Evangeline and Carter in the beginning. The headaches, pain, hot flashes, and heartburn. No morning sickness yet, but I know if I am pregnant, it will come soon."

Zayne nodded. "Oh." He paused as he looked at her. "Even if you are your dad's gonna kill me for getting you pregnant again..."

Merci rolled her eyes. "No shit, Sherlock. I know that. I'm just worried about Evangeline and Carter..."

Zayne nodded his head. "Wait, are you worried even if you do end up being pregnant again, you won't be able to give Eva and Carter enough attention?"

Merci nodded weakly. "Yeah, I had a rough pregnancy with them and I don't know how this one will go because I've been having panic attacks and I can't do anything to help with them if I'm pregnant. So, I'm kinda screwed."

Zayne hugged her tightly. "I'm so sorry Merce..." He leaned down and kissed her head.

Merci sighs deeply. "I hate having them because if the twins need me I'm locked in panic attacks, and I haven't figured out what helps me yet."

Zayne kissed her head. "Do you want to talk about it?"

Merci shook her head. "I should I could, but it's...it sends me somewhere where I can't get out of..." She breathes deeply. "I just know this pregnancy may be harder than my last one."

Zayne sighs, frowning. "Baby, I think you need to go back to therapy. What do you think?"

Merci nods, sighing loudly, as she ran her fingers through her hair. "I really want to go, I do. But-"

"But, what?" Zayne asks.

Merci sighs. "What if I can't handle it all?"

"Then, I'll be there with you, babe." Zayne says, squeezing her hand. "You will never be alone, Merci."

She gave a small smile. "Thank you for being here for me. I was so scared you'll leave me."

"Leave you?" He asks with a frown on his face. "Baby, that's not going to happen. Not ever. When I found out I was Evangeline and Carter's father, I knew I was all in. I'm forever yours." He kisses her forehead.

"Good." She laughs softly, wiping her eyes.

Two weeks later, October 11, 2028

It's now 2 weeks later and Merci's anxiety hasn't gone away. The fact she could be pregnant has grown. What if she is pregnant? Her son and daughter aren't even 2 months old, and yet, here she is- in her bathroom, taking a pregnancy test. Like she did 10 months ago. Her heart was beating a thousand miles a minute. Anxiety has grown so much for the past 2 weeks. Her sister, Maci is now 36 weeks pregnant with her son and daughter, Elizabeth and Gannon, their mother and aunt are now 23 weeks pregnant. Kayleigh is now home with her triplet daughters. Karina's daughters are now 4 months old.

Merci was waiting for the results to show up. This was the longest 5 minutes of her life, like it was 10 months ago. The feeling was the same as last time. Overwhelming. Zayne was waiting outside, pacing back and forth himself. He just became a father to Eva and Carter not long ago. Now, he may have a third child on the way. He's only 17, turning 18 in November. How can he give all three equal amounts of love and attention? How will they pay for 3 kids while they haven't graduated high school yet?

Merci's phone began ringing, alarming her that the time was over. The pregnancy tests were facing down and her heart was racing a million times a minute. She didn't know if she was ready to know. But ready or not, she had to know.

With shaky hands, she closed her eyes and flipped the pregnant tests over, without looking down, she needed Zayne in here.

"Z, can you come in?" She says, with a shaky breath.

Zayne nods as he opens the bathroom door and then closes it behind him.

I'm back to Fanfiction! Glad to be back. I had a great time in New York with my family and seeing my sister after 2 years of being apart. My nephew is a cutie!
