I want to thank all of your fot readings this far into The Sinnoh Remakes fanfic.
Of course in the real game there wouldn't be any sex and stuff. But there are some things i would want it to have to make it the best pokemon game in the entire franchise.
1) No low level, All Gym leaders, rival fights, galactic commanders/boss and champion/frontier brains; Would be high level, sometimes even higher than your pokemon; i always though them being lower level and having less pokemom made the games suck cause the battles were weak and forgettable, look at Whitneys Miltank, it was strong and after decades people still talk and remember her fight, that's what the new boss fights need to make them good. Also the Exp Share would be a hold item for one pokemon only, the exp share giving exp to so many pokemon at the same time was always overpowered and made the games not fun as you one shotted everything, even the gym leaders.
2) More pokemon for bosses, some gym leaders or rivals/Team Galactic people had a few pokemon, there needs to be more to encourage the player to realize he has to catch more and to train as well, imagen being around Jubilife city and then fighting a Barry with three pokemon, The starter that is strong against you, a Starly and a Shinx, three pokemon vs 1 would give him an advantage and could probably make the player lose, making them realizing catching many pokemon makes them stronger. Adding new fights would also spice up the game, like adding the new rival fights NO ONE will expect cause they never had that rival, and also having a cool post game (Like the delta episode) But with Pluto and Heatran would also be very cool, i think fighting Pluto and giving him the team of Medicham, Chatune, Probopass, Heatran and the starter you picked would make him more memorable of course he would only have Probopass, Medicham and your starter when you fight him for the first time and only have Chatune and Heatran in his final fight but still, i feel no one would expect it and it would make people remember him more with new battles added.
3) No rematches, if you lose against a gym leader or galactic boss you can rematch them, hell after beating the the game and getting the national dex you can rematch all gym leaders with a full 6 pokemon team. But if you lose to a rival like Barry or Israel, you just lose and cant rebattle them again, it would feel more realistic and would make people realize they REALLY don't wanna lose next time.
4) New Rival, If gen 4 added a new jerk rival, one that isnt like Bede says they're strong but they're a total pushover with their monotype team. This new Israel rival not only would make a good twists if he was on Team Galactic as well but also ACTUALLY challenge the team with a lot of variety of moves, plus his team would always be 5 or even 8 levels above what the player has which means it would finally be a good fight, the new rival being mean, cocky and genuinely strong would be one of the best things gen 4 could add.
5) New battles, Of course you saw in the fanfic how there were new battles, a new battle with Jupiter alone, the new mean rival battle and the Barry fight that was just his starter and Starly was replaced with His starter, Starly and Shinx, many new battles would make it more engaging.
7) New teams, I removed Snorlax from Barrys team cause that is slow and doesn't fit Barrys fast personality so i gave him a Luxray which is cool and strong, i know Gamefreak won't make Luxray a dark type even tho it looks like one but its fine. Cyrus having a Gastly and Magikarp the first time you fight him not only makes his team bigger but makes you underestimate him when you battle him again and his team is Honchcrow, Houndour, Haunter, Gyarados and Weavile. I gave the elite 4 and many trainers like your rival and the Galactic Boss Cyrus Mega Evolutions cause it makes them cooler and way harder to defeat, which makes them more memorable, speaking of mega evolution.
8) Mega Evolution, i always thoughts it was wayyyyyyy better than Z moves or Dynamax/Gigantamax, it feels more real and not as dumb as those two. So bringing back the best mechanic and adding lots of new different Mega Evolutions would make the game better and competitive battling great as it wont be just the same Mega Evolutions over and over again.
9) The National Dex, needless to day a LOT of people were angry cause of the sword and shield no National Dex thing, so if they already have so many of their animations and idle stands they should just finish the rest and add The National Dex back, lets see if people can do the greatest challenge of gotta catch them all.
10) New Locations, there should be free new locations like the Route 217 Lodge and of course the legendary islands where you can find Cresselia and Darkrai should be avaliable (If where you live has a Full Moon or a New Moon) There should be the place where you catch Shaymin, The Regi trio quest with Regigigas, a scarier Old Chateau, Heatran, Palkia, Dialga, a very secret flute to awaken Arceus, Giratina and more. Catching Legendaries and mythical and exploring far and wide to find them would be more fun than just getting it randomly from a guy.
11) Prize, I believe Pokemon Sinnoh should be prized at 100 dollars instead of 80, because it would have no DLC, yep the DLC, The Battle Frontier with the villa, Fight Area, Mt Stark and more would be free now, also a optional mini movie of Israels backstory which would probably make him one of the best rivals with that reveal. For costing 100 dollars it would include so much, including being able to find one boss fight Spiritomb in that one tower at 3AM, but technically you can have two Spiritombs since the other method would also be there.
12) Old mechanics, old stuff like seals, Pokemon Contest, Game Corner and the underground should obviously also be in the game, they are just so fun! specially after you beated the game and just wanna relax playing them.
13) adding more variety with wild pokemon, gen 4 always felt slow, maybe cause you always found the same pokemon over and over again, so finding pokemon from different regions would be cool, sure they would be rarer but it would be nice if when you found them a remix of wild pokemon from the region they are from would play.
14) Ways to interact with your pokemon, pokemon refresh and amie where amazing! Way better than that trash that was the camp in sword and shield. It just felt bettet so having that mixed with sw/sh would make it better, seeing all of your pokemon walk around infront of you but being able to play with them and pet them would be great. Sure high affection is OP but the boss fights and rivals would be higher level than your pokemon most of the time and they would use items and switch back pokemon so i believe its fair. Also only true pokemon master pros play a pokemon game on set, if you dont play the game on set instesd of switch then you are playing it wrong and on the easy mode which is very boring so plesse try out playing on set and see how much better and that feels.
Now for the final one.
15) Following Pokemon, i am pretty sure literally everyone wants this back, of course only one could follow you at a time, but every single pokemon would be allowed inside the Hearthome Amity Square park, that would be very cool, but something about your pokemon following you while you do your adventure feels so good and being able to turn around and interact with them seeing their personality just feels amazing, so i really hope they add the running animations from sun and moon into The Sinnoh Remakes and your pokemon wont be slow af when they follow you, they will be just right as they follow you.
Welp that is all i wish The New gen 4 remakes will include, sadly i bet this won't happen but i really believe if they do these things, Gen 4 won't be ruined and it will be the best game in the entire Gamefreak company. Thanks for reading! Take Care!With Love ~ Liz
