Bubble Guppies Teen Years: Season 2
Chapter 25 FINAL: The Journey to Truth (part 3)
It was a very tense night. Molly was gone and she was losing her mind. Some time after she left her, her camping partner Deema had noticed her absence and she began to worry a lot.
"MR. GROUPER!" That scream woke up not only our favorite teacher, but all the other guppies. They all started out of their tents and gathered around the campfire.
"What's going on?" Goby asked.
"Yeah (yawn) I was sleeping so good" Gil said with a sleepy tone.
"It is very bad! Very horrible! Terrible!" Deema said very worried.
"What 's up?" Oona asked.
"Why so many screams?" Zooli asked trying to awake.
"Calm down, Deema! Tell me" Mr. Grouper asked trying to calm his student.
"I….I...It´s Molly! She disappeared. She left and I have no idea where she may be!" Deema said.
"Did she tell you something?" Mr. Grouper asked. She just shook her head.
""We shouldn't worry too much. Maybe she just needed to do ... well ... what we all need to do in a toilet" Urchin tried to find an explanation.
"But it is very dangerous to walk alone at night. I should go find her" Mr. Grouper said.
"We will go" Gil said confidently.
"You guys stay here in case she comes back" Mr. Grouper ordered seriously.
"We can go looking for her. The more people look for it, the faster we will find it" Gil answered. The rest stayed quiet.
"If you want….I can stay here in case she comes here" Urchin offered.
"Are you sure you can stay alone here?" Mr. Grouper asked. He just nodded. "All right. Let's all look for it together. Use the flashlight. Be careful of any wild animals. And if they find it, they call me on the phone. Be very careful" Their teacher said. The rest were preparing to start the search. Gil decided to go alone. Goby and Nonny went together. Deema went alone and Oona and Zooli will be another couple. But between the two of them there was an awkward silence.
"Zooli….I…"
"Save it for yourself, Oona. We'll find Molly and see you tomorrow" Zooli said with a cold tone. Wow, it was surprising to Oona.
So they all went looking for their lost friend. They hoped that she wasn't far away and that she was okay. Unfortunately, both statements would be false. Molly was surprised to see the individual who appeared to her in the middle of the forest that night.
"Y...Y...You again?!" Molly said scared.
"Is that a way to greet an old friend? How rude" It was Jane herself. Which she has not lost that touch of malice and pure evil. Her gaze only reflected her spirit seeking revenge and her evil.
"Jane…..You've been torturing me since that day" Molly said very bothered. She just shrugged.
"Arguably" Jane started to move around her.
"I do not get it. You should be locked up, insane" Molly was annoyed.
"If I was really locked up, why am I here? Hahahaha you were always naive, Molly Gentilella. That is part of your charm" Jane said with her evil tone.
"Why do you keep harassing me?" Molly asked.
"Oh Molly, I see you don't understand. I want you to suffer. You have always been the perfect girl. The most loved, the most praised, the most beautiful, the most intelligent. Everyone thinks you are perfect. Good things always happen to you. You were always the perfect good girl. And nothing bad happened to you. All the other Bubble Guppies had bad things happening ... especially Gil. But you ... you never suffered ... until ... oh hahahaha ... until the day I kidnapped you" Janes started her explanation.
"Stop!" Molly said scared.
"The kidnapping ... The near death of your beloved boyfriend. They are just the beginning of something terrible for you. Good is not forever, girl. And you will learn it" Jane smirked.
"Get out of my mind, insane?!" Molly screamed.
"At least of course ... you stop me now. If you do, I won't appear in your life again. But I can't assure you of anything. You will have to kill me for that" Jane smirked.
"I will not kill you. What would you gain from all this?" Molly asked.
"I just want to see your darker side. See the black stain on the white. The dark of the day. I want to show that the purest person can become the most evil when necessary" Jane explained her reason.
"I won´t" Molly crossed her arms.
"If you don't do it now ... the blood of your friends and family will be on your hands. Well ... who will I kill first? Maybe ... Oona? ... Nonny? ... Goby? ... Deema? ... The wheelchair boy? ... Mr. Grouper? ..." Jane started to provoke her.
"S...stop!" Molly started clenching her fists
"Your mommy and daddy….."
"Stop!"
"Or you loved little sister Mia…."
"Shut up!"
"...Or maybe your loved Gil….I already shot him once in the past ... next time maybe I'll shoot him ... and finish him for real" Jane smirked evilly.
"SHUT UP!" She didn't think twice and threw herself at Jane to stop her forever. They both began to fight hard. Strikes and attacks with the tail was what was happening at that moment. They hit each other on the faces, chests, bellies, no doubt a tough fight. Who would win in this duel?
Meanwhile in the forest. Goby, Nonny, Zooli, Oona and Mr. Grouper met in a remote part of the camp.
"Have you seen her?" Goby asked.
"Nothing" Zooli answered.
"Gosh….We've been looking for Molly for a long time. I'm already worrying" Mr. Grouper said.
"I have a bad feeling about this. We don't know anything about Gil and Deema either. They went looking for her alone" Nonny analyzed.
"I hope they are okey" Oona said with a worried tone.
"AAAAAAHHHHHH!"
"It was Deema! Let 's go!" Goby said that worried. Without much thought, they all went to look for his friend who was screaming. But ... Why does Deema scream?
We go back to Molly and Jane. They both hit each other very hard. After a long time, both are separated and recovering air.
"Not bad ... but you'll have to try harder to stop me. It was fun but ... we'll meet again ... Maybe I'll start my revenge plan against the Bubble Guppies. I can't promise there will be no casualties" Jane laughed evilly. She tried to go away...but she received a hit in her face. She fell to the ground and Molly stopped her.
"No….There won't be another time. I will finish you off once and for all and my friends will be safe" Molly got on top of her so she wouldn't escape. As much as Jane tried to escape, she couldn't.
"Oh come on, Molly. I know you don't have the guts to do that" Jane said confidently. But….
"...I have the guts to do the right thing ... and this ... will be no exception" Molly took Jane by the neck and began to suffocate her. Jane tried to break free but she couldn't, Molly was strong. The girl with the pink hair did not think anything, she just wanted to end the demon that tormented her for a long time.
"A….A….AGHHH" Jane tried to save herself.
"What's up, Jane? You're not that tough now, huh? Now die" Molly began to choke Jane harder. She began to turn pale and her strength was dropping. Things were going to continue like this until.
"MOLLY?! STOP!"
"Huh?" Molly turned to see who wanted to stop her. It was about Gil. He had a look of terror.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Gil screamed with fear.
"Get away, Gil! I can finally kill the person who made us suffer the most. I will finish with Jane!" Molly was determined.
"What the hell are you talking about? That's not Jane! Stop! Just look!" Gil said with fear.
Molly stopped and took a deep breath. Only her breathing could be heard in the forest. The seconds felt eternal. It was a long time before Molly opened and closed her eyes and learned something horrible. The person she attacked was not Jane ... but Deema. The blonde girl was on the ground trying to recover from the unexpected attack from her friend. She didn't say anything but she had intense fear on her face and tears in her eyes. That's right, Molly almost killed her best friend Deema hers. Molly was shocked to see that. She covered her mouth and began to shake a lot.
"N….n….no...No….NOOOOOO!" Molly covered her head and she started to cry a lot. Gil tried to comfort her but Molly escaped quickly. Before Gil followed Molly he approached Deema quickly. Her skin was paler and she was trying to catch air quickly. She almost died.
"Are you okey? I´ll call for help" Gil helped Deema to recover.
"Cof cof….You can leave me here….cof cof….the others will come here….cof cof….Help her now…" Deema tried to talk. She decided to lie down on the floor. She was very weak. Gil didn't want to leave her, but she insisted that he find Molly. And that happened.
Gil began to follow the trail of his girlfriend. Which wouldn't be difficult because this time she wasn't far away. She was sitting on a dead log while she wept and sobbed. The blue haired boy only slowly approached his girlfriend without wanting to upset her.
"M...M...Molly…."
"Stay away. I want to be alone" Molly ordered.
"Please, Molly. We need to talk now. You've been acting really weird these days. Since we started this year. Please, trust me. Things are getting out of control" Gil tried to convince her.
"I don´t…."
"Don't drown in your own problems. You always try to help others. Now it is your turn to get help. Tell me what's wrong with you" Gil tried to calm her down.
"If….If I tell you…..You´ll think I´m crazy" Molly sobbed.
"Molly….you attacked Deema. I don't want anyone else to get hurt. Please tell me now. I can help" Gil pressed her.
"I….I…..I…"
"..."
"...I CAN SEE HER, GIL! I can see Jane in my nightmares! I've had nightmares about that day. Those memories are still kept in my mind. The whole time I was kidnapped. All the torture she subjected me to. All the hunger, thirst and pain I felt. To imagine that no one would save me. I still remember when you were dying in that hospital because of me. That shot was for me! I can not stand! I've seen Jane in hallucinations. I don't know if she's really here or not anymore. I'm traumatized, Gil!" That was the breaking point. Molly started crying like never before. The only time Gil had ever seen her cry like this was when he was in the hospital from being shot. Gil at that moment only saw her cry. He lifted his own shirt a little so he could see his scar again. That scar from the shot Jane gave sighed and walked over to Molly. He just sat down next to her. And he put his hand on her back.
"Did you attack Deema because you saw that she was Jane?" Gil asked. Molly just nodded but she was crying and sobbing "That ... is very serious. Why not ... did you ask for help from us? Or your parents? Mr. Grouper?"
"snif….because they can think I'm crazy. I'm not crazy or insane ... I'm just scared, Gilly" Molly continued sobbing.
"Well…...It seems that these things are difficult to forget. You are not the only one. Sometimes I remember when she shot me. That is traumatic too. The others also suffered in her way. But ... you need help. You are not alone, love. Your parents worry about you. Mia loves you very much too. We love you very much. We have always helped others, and you are no exception. We will help you, but you have to be honest with all of us…" He hugged her ""Molly, we'll get out of this ... together...I promise"
The scene was moving. Very sad. Gil knew that she needed her friends and family more than ever. That comforting hug lasted for a long time until they both got up and prepared to return to camp. Gil warned the others by cell phone to return to the camp. Several minutes later they all gathered in silence. Surprisingly, the quietest was Deema. She was still scared. After a long time, Gil told them that Molly wanted to explain what happened. Although she didn't want to do it at first, she had the courage to tell them the truth once and for all.
She told them everything. From nightmares to hallucinations about the evil girl who tortured her. Everyone else was surprised by the revelation. Obviously only Zooli and Urchin were confused, because they knew nothing or almost nothing about the situation that the original 6 Bubble Guppies lived through. The others took time to process the information.
"Why didn't you tell us anything from the start?" Goby asked.
"I didn't know how to tell you. I didn't want you to believe that I was crazy" Molly answered.
"I´m so sorry. That's horrible. I didn't know you were carrying it all this time" Oona said sadly.
"Deema….I´m sorry for that" Molly said that very sad.
"(sigh) I can't be upset with you after knowing that ... But I'm not really ... well either" Deema avoided a little eye contact.
"Molly….you need professional help. I can help you with that. You will need a psychologist" Mr. Grouper said.
"But ... psychologists are not for mentally ill people?" Zooli asked.
"Actually, psychologists are in charge of helping people with emotional and thinking problems. You do not necessarily have to have a mental disorder to be treated by a psychologist. You know, sometimes it's good for everyone to go to a psychologist even once a year" Nonny explained.
"I think it is the most reasonable thing to do. The best thing will be that tomorrow we go home" Mr. Grouper commented. Although perhaps some did not like that idea, they all agreed. The health of her friend was more important at the moment. So, without saying anything else, they all went to sleep. Hoping that tomorrow would be a better day.
It was already another day in the morning. They all ate a little after waking up and started preparing things before going home.
"Seriously I'm sorry. I ruined everyone's trip" Molly said sadly.
"You are more important than a trip. We do it because we really care about you" Gil answered.
"Thanks….but….My problem is very big" Molly commented.
"We have always been able to solve problems together. And this will not be an exception" Goby tried to comfort her.
"And now ... we are more Bubble Guppies" Oona pointed to Zooli and Urchin.
"Well…...Deema doesn´t want to talk to me" Molly said.
"She will take her time to forgive you. She knows that you didn't really want to hurt her" Goby said. At that time, Zooli decided to separate from that group to talk with Deema and Zooli that they were together but did not speak.
"Hi….Zooli. We….have to tell you something" Oona said nervously.
"Hmpt" She ignored them.
"We…..we are sorry" Oona finally tell her.
"Huh?"
"It was my fault. We shouldn't have pushed you on the Urchin thing. We just wanted to help you" Oona explained.
"Yeah. We should have respected your decision. We understand if you didn't want to tell Urchin about how you felt about him" Deema added with shame.
"Girls, you don't know how much I want to confess to him what I feel. But it is not the right time, I still have to fix problems with myself. I'm not ready for a relationship. Also, our priority now is to help Molly" Zooli commented.
"You´re right!" Oona said.
"Hello! Hey….I...ummmm….I want to talk with you, Zooli….Alone" Urchin said with shyness. Zooli was shocked and her friends smiled a little and they left them alone.
"H...Hi, Urchin! W...what do you want to tell me?" Zooli was nervous.
"I….I...I just want to thank you" Urchin said "Thanks for inviting me. I liked our first camp. Even though we had a problem with the Molly thing. But I really enjoyed it. Thanks for making me feel accepted"
"Oh...you...you´re welcome" Zooli smiled to him.
"Well….I have to take some…." Urchin was preparing to leave but ... something surprising happened. Zooli walked over to him ... and kissed him! ... Well ... at least one short kiss on the boy's cheek. That caused both of them to leave there blushing. Urchin looked like a tomato and left quickly. Zooli joined her friends with her rosy cheeks.
"W...w….what?!" Deema and Oona were shocked.
"Well….a tiny kiss on the cheek won't harm anybody, right?" Zooi winked.
"Zooli….k...kissed him?!" Oona said surprised.
"But it was only in his cheek. I'm disappointed" Deema said with a tiny smile.
"A kiss is a kiss. It counts" Oona giggled.
So we end this story. Everyone knew that when they returned to the city, they had great difficulties to face. Together they would help Molly overcome her trauma. Despite everything, everyone would help her unconditionally. Because that's how Bubble Guppies are. On the trip, everyone was calmer, even Molly. The only person who was concerned was Nonny. He was like this since Molly admitted her nightmares and her visions of Jane. He was worried now.
"Jane…." Nonny said nervously.
