Episode 25: Cul-De-Sac Smash

Jonesy: Last time, on The Ridonculous Race: Cartoon Crossover! Our teams arrived in Orlando, Florida. While working at a science convention, they renewed acquittances with old friends, as well as someone from another FanFiction. After they completed the first challenge, they proceeded to act out a movie genre Universal Studios. The Scammers managed to take 1st place, and thanks to a strategic move by the Scammers, the Professional Assassins, one of the teams picked to win the race, we're eliminated. Also, under mysterious circumstances, Don has gone missing, leading to the Jonesmeister to replace him for the time being. What other surprises do we have instore tonight? Cue Theme Song

Jonesy: Welcome back to Orlando, Florida, at glorious Universal Studios. The first team to leave the mat for today's challenges will the 1st place team, the Scammers. (the Scammers arrive at the mat, looking confused at the sight of Jonesy)

Eddy: Who are you? Why are you the host? Where's Don?

Jonesy: Don's disappeared. In which case, the studio asked me to fill in as the replacement host until they find Don.

Eddy: Why'd they choose you?

Jonesy: For two reasons: 1. They'd pay me, a lot, and 2. Don and I share the same voice actor.

Eddy: (shrugs) Makes sense.

Ed & Eddy step up to the Don Box, pressed the button on top, and received their next tip.

Eddy: (reading the tip) Get into the one of the Dimension Cars and proceed into the rift that'll take your towards your next destination. (to Ed) Let's go, Lumpy.

Ed: (dancing) Work that body, work that body, don't you go hurt nobody. (Eddy grabs him and shoves him into one of the Dimension Cars before he enters the car himself)

The Scammers get into one of the Dimension Cars, more teams step up to the Don Box, grab their tips, and enter the Dimension Cars. Once all the teams have entered one of the Dimension Cars, they enter the portal and make their way towards their next destination.

Jonesy: Car #1 contains the Scammers, Cowboys, Uncle & Niece, and the Mystery Solvers; Car #2 contains the Rockers, the Stepbrothers, and the Big Guns.

Scene switches to Car #1 where see the Scammers conversing with the Mystery Solvers, Uncle & Niece, and the Cowboys.

Shaggy: Like man, that was amazing!

Sam: You got rid of the Professional Assassins. They were a juggernaut.

McCree: Or a Reinhardt. Or maybe a Zarya. Either way, you eliminated a team that was picked to win the show.

Eddy: Yep. I'm pleased with myself.

Ashe: Hey, don't be strokin' that ego.

Jerry: Hey, give him some props. At least stroke his ego once.

Scooby: Right. (everyone claps)

Eddy: This is what it's like to be accepted.

Ed: Can you scratch my back? (shows everyone his back, which is covered in pimples)

Sam: Is that…

Ed: Yep, it's a boat. (his back was covered in markings which, indeed, resembled a boat when the pimples were connected together)

Jonesy: As our teams observe… some weird imagery, they're about to arrive at their destination.

Scene switches to the Dimension Cars exiting the portal into an oddly shaped neighborhood. The teams exit their vehicles and begin to observe their surroundings.

Sam: (looking around) Where are we?

McCree: Somethin' from my worse, acid-induced, drug trip nightmare? (everyone looks at him, slightly terrified, slightly confused)

Eddy: (looking around and realizing something) Hey. This is the Cul-De-Sac. We're in our universe.

[Place Description]
Jonesy: Eddy's correct. Welcome to the Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy Universe. Home to weird characters, scams, and gigantic jawbreakers. Now that teams have arrived, they'll find the next Don Box located in the center of the Cul-De-Sac
[End Description]

Scene shows the teams making their way towards the Don Box and begin collecting their tips.

McCree: (reading the tip) It's an All-In. Scam of the Century?

Jonesy: For this All-In Challenge, teams must create a scam or service worthy of making a lot of money. Once teams have managed to collect $5, they'll receive their next tip.

The teams make their way towards the lane where they begin setting up stands to promote their scams or services. Soon the kids arrive and begin observing the scams

Rolf: (to McCree) Tell Rolf about your showoff shenanigans, as Rolf has become intrigued.

McCree: Glad too. But first, (takes off his hat and holds it out) Pay up. (Rolf puts a quarter in McCree's hat, causing McCree to give a deadpanned look) Perhaps I wasn't being clear. $1 per costumer. (Rolf puts three more quarters in McCree's hat. Once that's taken care of, he sets his hat down on the stand) Now let's begin.

McCree & Ashe pulls out their weapons and begin doing crazy tricks with their guns, shooting at bottles and fake bad guys. McCree then proceeds to perform his Ultimate Ability as six fake bad guys pop up, along with two fake civilians.

McCree: It's high noon. (waits a few seconds before pulling out his gun and firing) Draw. (he hits every bad guy and neither civilian. The Cowboys then put their guns away and turn towards the kids, who've all gathered after seeing what Ashe & McCree were doing) Justice Ain't Gonna Dispense Itself. (all the kids begin applauding when McCree holds out his hat) Pay $1. (all the kids pay $1, which McCree begins counting) 2, 3, 4, 5 dollars.

Kevin: Congrats. (gives McCree his next tip) Here's your next tip.

McCree: Thanks kid. (to him & Nazz) Shame you two had to be eliminated so soon.

Kevin: Don't worry. I'm sure we'll get a second chance in sometime in the near future.

Nazz: Maybe. (Ashe & McCree, confused at first, shrug it off and go to focus on the competition)

McCree: (reading the tip) It's an Either Or. Jawbreakers or Fudge.

Jonesy: For this Either Or challenge, teams can either use the five dollars they earned to buy Sarah & Jimmy fudge from the candy store, or… (now at Eddy's Jawbreaker Vault) pick a country and find the jawbreaker in this vault that originated in that country. Once they've completed either task, they'll receive their next tip.

McCree: Jawbreakers.

Ashe: (nods her head) Yep.

Jonesy: As the Cowboys make their way towards Eddy's Jawbreaker Vault, more teams begin completing the All-In.

Sam: Hi, I'm Sam. Are you tired of waking up in the morning the frizzy hair?

Nazz: You have no idea.

Sam: Then look no further. Jerry. (Jerry gives her the Wind Tunnel 3000 Tornado Blast Hairdryer) I present to you the Wind Tunnel 3000 Tornado Blast Hairdryer. (gives herself messy hair before using the hairdryer on herself, thus restoring her hair) You can purchase it at an insignificant price of 5 dollars.

Nazz: Sold! (gives her five bucks and a tip as Sam gives her the hairdryer)

Jerry: You sure that was a good idea, getting rid of the Tornado Blast Hairdryer?

Sam: Don't worry, W.O.O.H.P. can make another one.

Jerry: Okay. Anyway, what's the tip say? (Jerry & Sam observe the tip and make a decision) Jawbreaker. (they proceed to make their way towards Eddy's Jawbreaker Vault)

We then cut to the Scammers promoting their En-O-Gee Drinks.

Eddy: Ladies and gentlemen! Come buy a delicious En-O-Gee Drink! (everyone buys a cup and, due to the high amounts of sugar featured in the drink, the kids end up having a major sugar rush, rushing around, observing every scam and service the teams have to offer, earning everyone $5 in 5 seconds)

Heavy: Talk about lucky.

Luna: Nice work, dudes.

Eddy: Thanks. Now what's the tip say?

After reading the tip, the Scammers, Big Guns, and Stepbrothers choose Jawbreakers while the Rockers and Mystery Solvers choose Fudge. The teams then proceed either towards the Candy Store or Eddy's Jawbreaker Vault. Scene switches to Eddy's Jawbreaker Vault where we see the Cowboys and Uncle & Niece enter. They're then greeted by a nearby security guard, who gives them a piece of paper with a country written on it.

McCree: (looking at the paper) I got the USA.

Ashe: (looking at the paper) I got Spain.

Jerry: (looking at the paper) I got England.

Sam: (looking at the paper) I got Belgium

McCree: Let's begin looking. (he, Ashe, Sam, & Jerry then proceed to enter into the vault and begin looking for the location of their jawbreakers)

Scene switches to the Candy Store where we see the Rockers and Mystery Solvers enter the store. We then see Luna & Sam Sharp paying the clerk 5 dollars' worth of fudge for Jimmy & Sarah.

Store Clerk: Here you go. (gives Luna & Sam Sharp a bag containing the fudge they purchased)

Sam Sharp: Thanks. (to Luna) Let's go, Luna. (Scooby & Shaggy purchase the fudge next, but they appear to be shaking as they receive it. They then look inside the contents of the bag)

Shaggy: I'm sure they won't notice it a small piece of fudge is missing.

Scooby: Reah. (they then proceed to eat all the fudge)

[Confessional: Scooby & Shaggy]
Shaggy: We have no self-control.
Scooby: Reah.
[End Confessional]

Jonesy: As the Mystery Solvers find themselves in last place, more teams have at Eddy's Jawbreaker Vault.

Scene switches to the vault where we see the Scammers, Stepbrothers, and Big Guns arrive.

[Confessional: Ferb & Phineas]
Phineas: We chose Jawbreakers, not because we were greedy, but because we knew we'd complete the challenge quickly. (Ferb nods)
[End Confessional]

We then see the guard giving the teams that arrive a slip of paper with a country written on it.

Eddy: (looking at the paper) Japan.

Ed: (looking at the paper) Chernobyl? (everyone takes a step back from him)

Heavy: (looking at the paper) Ha-ha! I got Mother Russia!

Soldier: (looking at the paper) Germany.

Phineas: (looking at the paper) Egypt.

Ferb: (looking at the paper) China.

They then get started with the challenge. Scene switches to the Cul-De-Sac where we see the Rockers giving the fudge they purchased to Jimmy & Sarah.

Sarah: Thank you. Here's your next tip. (she gives them a tip)

Luna: Thanks, bra. (reads the tip) Make your way towards Peach Creek Jr. High.

Jonesy: (at Peach Creek Jr. High) Peach Creek Jr. High. The main destination in Season 5 of Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy is the Chill Zone for this leg of the race. Last team to arrive, may be eliminated.

Luna: Let's go, Sam. I think we're in first place.

Sam Sharp: Woo-Hoo! (they begin making their way towards the Chill Zone)

Jonesy: As the Rockers make their way towards the Chill Zone, the Scammers and Stepbrothers have completed the other part of the Either Or.

Scene switches to Eddy's Jawbreaker Vault where we see the Scammers and Stepbrothers finding the Jawbreakers they were assigned and presenting them to the guard.

Phineas: (noticing the sickly green color of the Chernobyl jawbreaker) Isn't that irradiated?

Eddy: Ed practically lives in a toxic waste dump. I think he'll be fine. (the guard gives both teams their next tip)

Phineas: Sweet, let's go.

Eddy: (to the guard) Are we allowed to keep these? (the guard nods) Sweet.

Ed: Yeah! (shoves the whole thing in his mouth, as does Eddy, and they begin sucking on it)

Phineas: How are they able to eat that?

Ferb: Well it is a cartoon?

Phineas: Ferb, what's the first rule about breaking the fourth wall?

Ferb: Don't break the fourth wall.

Phineas: Right. And what's the second rule?

Ferb: Don't break the fourth wall.

Phineas: Okay, let's go. (the Scammers and Stepbrothers leave and begin making their way towards the Chill Zone)

Scene switches to Peach Creek Jr. High where we see the Rockers arrive and check into the Chill Zone.

Jonesy: Congratulations Rockers! 1st place is yours.

Luna: Alright!

Sam Sharp: We did it! (they kiss at this)

Jonesy: (surprised) You're gay?

Sam Sharp: Of course. You have a problem with that?

Jonesy: Of course not! I'm open to everyone.

Luna: Cool, bro. (as they leave, the camera focuses on Jonesy)

Jonesy: Huh. Well that's a shock. (sees the Scammers and Stepbrothers approaching) Scammers 2nd, Stepbrothers 3rd. Well done you four. (they cheer before leaving the mat. When they leave, Jonesy turns towards the camera) Now that the top three spots have been taken, the race to not come in last has begun.

Scene switches to Eddy's Jawbreaker Vault where we see the Cowboys, Uncle & Niece, & the Big Guns still looking for their jawbreakers.

Soldier: Let's just begin grabbing random jawbreakers. Eventually we'll get it right.

Jerry: Simple trial and error. It's worth a try.

McCree: Why not.

They begin presenting random jawbreakers to the guard. After several tries and fails, Uncle & Niece manage to get the right jawbreakers, receiving their tip soon afterwards. After they leave, the Cowboys find the jawbreakers they're looking for and receive their tip as well, leaving only the Big Guns.

[Confessional: Heavy & Soldier]
Heavy: I'm not sure if we're in last or second-to-last.
Soldier: Either way, we'll go down fighting
[End Confessional]

After several more tries, the Big Guns finally get the correct jawbreakers, collect their tip, and leave. Scene switches to Peach Creek Jr. High where we see Uncle & Niece and the Cowboys arrive.

Jonesy: Uncle & Niece take 4th, Cowboys take 5th. (as they leave the mat, he turns towards the camera) With only two spots remaining, it's going to be a tight race. And… (sees the Big Guns arrive, but not the Mystery Solvers) It wasn't close at all. Never mind.

Heavy: (wipes his brow) We're safe. Thank god.

Scene switches to Jonesy entering the Candy Store to find the Mystery Solvers sitting on the ground with bloated stomachs, having eaten everything in the story. When they see Jonesy, they immediately stand up.

Jonesy: Msytery Solvers, all the teams have checked into the Chill Zone. I regret to inform you that you have been eliminated from the race.

Shaggy: (sighing) Oh well. At least we made it farther than we ourselves expected.

Scooby: Reah. Re did rood.

Shaggy: Come on Scoob, let's go run a diner out of business.

Scooby: Roh kay. (they exit the Candy Store)

Jonesy: (after the Mystery Solvers depart, the camera focuses onto him) Tune in next week to see what we have instore for our teams next time on, The Ridonculous Race: Cartoon Crossover.

And we'll end it there. A short chapter, I know, but it's a nice bit of filler for what I have planned next week. Now, Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy is a show I absolutely adore.
